BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui's rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don't kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Great condo! The beach access is wonderful! The unit is up to date and clean. The plumbing and refrigerator needs a little TLC, but otherwise perfect! Would stay here again.

The unit was very clean and check-in was easy. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice, but probably needs a little updating. The unit was well stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, ice chest and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools, dinnerware, and everything needed for preparing meals - our one complaint is there were no basic supplies provided (no salt & pepper or any coffee, tea, etc).
After check-in we immediately noticed that the icemaker was not functioning and the management company planned on sending someone to fix it by the next day. This never happened due to other circumstances as noted below.
Unfortunately, less than 24 hours after we checked in, we lost power and the Maui fires began. We tried to stay as long as we could but the situation was only getting worse. Food was scarce, stores were closed and we were not allowed to return to West Maui if we left to get supplies. Fortunately we were able to cook some of our remaining food on the barbeques. We ended up having to book additional accomodations on the other side of the island and move out. We only stayed 3 of the 7 nights that we booked.

Our family of five had a terrific time in this wonderful location. It is steps from two beaches where we were able to snorkel with turtles and explore reefs. We loved having the use of the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. Saved us a bunch of money on rentals. The pictures were representative of what we found when we arrived. The view from the lanai is perfect with amazing views of the sunset. Close to Napili, Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina. We loved the pool too!

You cannot beat this place - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The view from the patio and master bedroom is absolutely spectacular! The unit itself is clean and comfortable and was just enough space for my family of 6 adults. The beach is beautiful with access right across the front door of the unit. The property management team was always very communicative, informative and friendly. The location of the unit is also great - it's tucked away from major car and foot traffic and is only about a 15 minute drive to the beautiful city of Lahaina. Whenever we come back to Maui, we will DEFINITELY be looking to rent this unit again for our stay!
