Overall I would recommend staying here. Kihei in general is super for so many places nearby to visit. The sleeping accommodations made it nice and not squishy. We loved having the patio to look out at beautiful flowers and have room for all of us to sit and chat. It was nice to have a kitchen with most everything needed to cook with and refrigerate. The living room was spacious for the 5 of us. It was wonderful to have beach chairs for all of us to take to the beach. The swimming pool was lovely. The neighborhood felt safe and clean. The morning, like 3:00 am rooster woke my friends each morning so throw in some ear plugs. We loved our stay!!!What I hope is taken care of for our next visit: directions to find our condo in the development in the middle of the night, balcony floor washed, the slider to have a lock, reminder to clean dryer vent (it was so full from prior guests), pool key maybe left on the notebook about the complex. Gaps in the flooring repaired, lots of stubbed toes. Do the windows in the master room close and lock? The walk to the beach is a little longer than just crossing a street, unless a key opens the gates to the street. The beach directly across from the complex is extremely gross, trust me. It’s sludge run off. Don’t go there, it will ruin the beauty of Hawaii. We really loved everything, just little things to make it even better

We had a fantastic stay at this well-maintained and comfortable 3-bedroom condo in Maui. The location was perfect—conveniently situated with easy access to all the best that the island has to offer. The unit was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen that made meals easy and enjoyable.The property amenities were also great. We loved having access to the pool and tennis courts, and the beach was just a short walk away. We had a great stay at Koa 5i. The condo had everything we needed. All the kids had their own bed, no need for sleeping on the couch or hide-a-bed, which made this a perfect location for us. The beach is a close walk and all the extra amenities (coolers, beach toys, chairs, umbrella) made it feel like home. My family and I stayed at this property during our recent vacation to Hawaii. We stayed at condos on each of the 4 islands we visited--this was one of the better places we stayed. It is evident that the owners take pride in their home. It was unfortunate that we could not be granted a late checkout at 11:00 AM as we had a scheduled early morning bike ride down Haleakala on our check out day that ended at 9 AM. It was quite challenging to pack up all of our things the evening prior and leave the condo by 2:30 AM. We made it work, though. The condo was generally clean, however there was a lot of sand on the tile floors, so we had to wear our socks everywhere because our feet were caked with sand after walking around. In addition, one of the shower walls was leaking significantly on to the bathroom floor. While the A/C was a bonus, the entire condo was very damp...so much that our bedding and all of our clothes actually felt wet. A dehumidifier might be helpful to reduce the moisture in the air. These things aside, the property offered multiple amenities, including beach chairs and boogie boards, plenty of towels, a beautiful kitchen, comfortable beds, and a gorgeous patio looking out to the pool area.

This place is nice. It is clean and we'll taken care of. It is close to the parking lot, pool, tennis courts, and the common area. It made using the bbq grills very convenient for some of our dinners. We have stayed multiple times at the KOA Resort and have yet to have bad experiences. There were 2 things that make me not want to stay in this location again. First thing is the bed in the small downstairs basement was like sleeping in a soft shelled taco. I felt like I was going to roll out all night long while at the same time feeling like is was bent in half. The second this is the downstairs neighbor. She is extremely nice and loves to talk and interact with you. This is not the issue we had with her. He living space is very cluttered and not kept clean at all. This caused a smell to come from her home the we could smell while entering our condo or using the back deck. It was not pleasant and made staying at the condo a little bit uncomfortable.

For the most part this place was great. The owners were super accommodating for us and our unique situation. They were very nice and responsive to questions and requests. There were a couple outlets that would not work unless we bent our plugs to make good connections. And there was a small shower leak that left a small puddle by the toilet. I made suggestions to look into these after we left and the owner said that maintenance was working on getting them fixed. I would stay here again for sure.

This property was perfect for our family! The well equipped home was exactly what we were looking for. The four bedrooms provided sleeping comfort. The well equipped kitchen provided us with easy meal preparation. The three bathrooms made it easy for us to all get ready when going out. If we had questions, Lourdes or Robyn were available with quick solutions. In our opinion, we found our PERFECT place for us, and our needs!

We were very pleased with the well-equipped kitchen--# of plates and glasses, serving containers, cookware and cooking utensils, condiments, and even ziploc bags. A rice cooker was useful. (Plastic wrap and foil might have been useful.) We made good use of the beach chairs, beach towels and the pool. The welcoming guide was filled with many good ideas for restaurants and beaches. Stacy, the host, made our vacation a very happy and memorable time.

The condo was very nice and clean. A little dated but met all our needs. Location was good as far as centrally located and able to get to most areas of the island quickly. The description says beach access short walk down the road. You can get out to the ocean but not a great beach spot. We ended up going to one of the nice public beach parks on our beach days. We spent 5 days in the property and we have been very happy with our stay. Stacy’s communication is great, from booking to checkout. The property’s location in Kihei is perfect for a family. We are close to a beach where we could see sea turtles, fairly close by car from all the major attractions of the island. The property is very clean, and very well equipped with everything you could need. We also had access to a very nice pool, a hot tub and some grills inside the complex. I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

I have stayed in Koa resort in the past and it has never disappointed. We had great communication with the host and had all questions answered when needed. We had access to all amenities, beach equipment and toys for the kids. The home itself is magnificent, it was clean and had everything that was needed in the kitchen, as well in the bathrooms, plenty of towels to use. We took advantage of the washer and dryer as well and the best part of it all the beach was a 10 min walk. The family and myself really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back.

The only hiccup was that we had not received the access code from VRBO before arrival, however a quick call to the owner (Stacy) rectified this. My family and I had a marvellous stay at the KOA resort. The condo itself is spacious with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The property is great. The pool has varying depths which made it more fun for my son. We also used the shuffle board, ping pong table and foosball. It was nice to had other activities to do on site when the weather got cooler. Our hosts were extremely accommodating granting us a later check out time. They even left my son a birthday cookie before we arrived as we were there celebrating. Highly recommend this property for Kihei stays.

The unit was perfect for our family. My wife and I had one downstairs bedroom and our son and his wife has the other. The three grand-girls had the upstairs bunk beds. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs although we did eat out often. The kids made good use of the pool and we enjoyed the spa! Kihei is a great location - close to all Maui has to offer.

We thought it would be important to have a pool, and wow - it certainly was. It was a great way to finish out every day. The pool has a deep end, so you can really have some fun. It was especially cool after dark when the lights are on in the pool, and dark in the sky. The unit was just the right size. We loved it and will likely be back next time!

old community with multiple blocks each includes 4 apartments in as a unit with renovations inside. It was clean from inside except we had a cockroach and a couple of insects waiting to welcome us. We left some food particles by mistake and there were few ants when we returned.It was booked for 8 guests but had only 7 blankets. Technically, it has room for 4 adults and 4 kids under age of 12. Out of 2 bedrooms only one had AC unit. Rooms had TV but maim living hall area didn’t have one. Third bedroom is an upper level loft.Cheap mattresses and pillows - got back pain to few of us. No additional pillows as well.No bathing items like body wash shampoo conditioner etc. No soap holders in all bathrooms which were standing ones so while taking shower you ll have to bent down to take soap or shampoo.Half of the kitchen utensils were not usable. Toaster was rusted badly so couldn’t use.Overall, it’s okay to stay if you were planning to do activities outside for most of the day until late evening and definitely not for 8 adults.

The unit was comfortable for 5 adults and a toddler. 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the main level, and 1 bedroom and full bath in the loft. The spiral staircase to the loft is very tight. There is a celing fan over the sink in the upstairs bath that can easily be touched. The 2nd bedroom on the main level is the smallest. It has a double/ queen TACO bed, meaning you roll to the middle and feel like you're in a taco shell. The master bedroom is large and the bed was very comfy. None of the louvered windows closed completely which allowed sound, warm air and smells to enter the bedrooms freely. The downstairs neighbor keeps her cat's litterbox on her porch, and doesnt keep it clean. Also, the downstairs neighbor will let you know when she feels you're making too much noise ( 2 yr old toddler running thru the unit ) by banging on the ceiling and then will call you out when she sees you. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The unit was fine, the location is great. The grounds are kept neatly. We really enjoyed the pool which has a very shallow end for small kids.
