Maui needs your help. I live here on Maui and have been volunteering in the medical tents and with organizations delivering supplies to those in need. And the ongoing effort will need to continue in Lahaina for years to come. But Maui is open for tourism and thousands of individuals depend on tourism to support their families and pay their bills. Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority encourages travelers to consider visiting other areas of Maui — Kahului, Wailuku, Kīhei, Wailea, Mākena, Pāʻia and Hāna. “So what we’re saying now is travel should not be to West Maui. But the other parts of Maui are safe." Gov. Josh Green said during a press conference this week.
I have made the commitment to donate all profits from August and Sept to relief efforts here. So your visit actually will help Maui in many ways, from the donations I can make as well as the money spent at restaurants, cafes, stores, and activities while you are here.
Property Description:
Have fun with your friends or the whole family at this stylishly renovated 4 bdrm condo in warm and sunny Kihei! Embrace the indoor/outdoor lifestyle that Maui is known for. Located on 5 acres, the grounds have plenty of open space, grass and mature shade trees. Koa resort offers beautiful tropical landscaping, the largest condo pool in Kihei, a hot tub, floor shuffleboard, 2 private tennis courts, and a cabana with 3 BBQ grills, pingpong table, and dining tables. Our condo is ready for fun or relaxing, stocked with beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler, tennis rackets, sand toys, body boards, and lawn and board games. Conveniently located our condo is an excellent base for exploring Maui! Keaka beach is just a 3-5 min walk. Only 1/4 mile to the north is the Hawaiian Islands Whale Marine Sanctuary which is a perfect place for kids to explore the tide pools. 1 mile to the south is Azeka Center, home to several of the best restaurants in Kihei. Here you can find Hawaiian, Mexican, Japanese, seafood, Thai, Italian, and shave ice.
We have renovated our condo with the intention of creating a space with a beach atmosphere that is inviting, comfortable, and relaxing. With a spacious open-concept living area that opens up to a patio with outdoor dining and seating, there is plenty of room for larger groups or families. Walk directly from the patio to the lawn and pool. Koa resort is a small condo complex which feels more like a townhome. Unit 4A in an end-unit with a ground-floor entry that is easily accessed from the parking lot.
The condo has 2 bedrooms downstairs. Both have a king bed, closets with hangers and a luggage rack, a dresser, TV, and standing height mirror. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The other downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Upstairs there is a loft bedroom with sliding curtain panels for privacy, closet and large dresser. A sliding door leads to an upper patio with bistro table and two chairs where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or read a book. The other bedroom upstairs features 2 full beds, desk, closet, and TV. There is one bathroom upstairs with a walk-in shower.

Aside from a few hiccups, the overall stay with pleasant and I would definitely stay again. There was more than enough room for me and my party; the added condiments and laundry room was so helpful to our stay. The host was also easy to reach and replied in a timely manner!

It was exactly what the photos and description said it was going to be. Our family included adults and children and everyone had a good time. The children loved playing in the grass areas and made several friends of other children staying at KOA. The other families were friendly and often engaged in conversation. The beach was easily walked to and everything the children needed for the beach was provided with the unit. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked most nights. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again the next time we are on Maui!

This property exceeded our expectations on every level. Stacy was exceedingly accommodating and responsive and went above and beyond to assure our stay went seamlessly and all of our needs were met. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was easily the best with such attention to every detail. Everything in the listing was as described plus more. The rooms were spacious and the design of the space was perfect to accommodate our group of 13 (5 children age 4-15 and 8 adults). Aside from the expected items in a rental, we especially appreciated the provided beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach toys, a wagon to haul all of the items, ample and quality cookware, dishes and Tupperware, and provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in each of the showers. The kitchen was fully equipped with all of the necessities including a coffee maker, toaster oven, foil, Saran Wrap and even ziplock baggies. Truly no details were overlooked.
The location of the property was ideal with numerous beaches and attractions nearby. The property itself was gorgeous and the access to the pool was clutch. Our family spent the day exploring the island and the evenings at the pool/jacuzzi.
