This condo was easy to find and was easy access to many of the beaches in Kehei. While there is beach access from the condo you do need to drive a short distance to nicer beaches. The pool area was clean and very nice. The BBQs were extremely clean and used everyday. We would certainly return to this location.

We loved our condo! The location directly on the beach was superb for watching the sunset. Having the pool right outside our door was super convenient for the grandkids to go back and forth easily. The pool closed at 8:30, so it was quiet at night. The condo was very clean and well equipped, with enough beach chairs and towels for 6. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo for everything!!

The location of the condo is amazing, with stunning views of the ocean and it is beautiful from the inside and the outside. We spent many mornings having coffee as we watched the whales breaching out in the ocean (using binoculars). Every sunset was amazing and having dinners out on the lanai was a wonderful experience. Everything in the condo was perfect, with very nice decor to complement Maui’s surroundings and heritage. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, for the beach, to wash and dry clothes, etc. Thanks to Katie, our host, our stay was perfect. Katie was very helpful with all our questions before arriving in Maui, on arrival and during our stay. We definitely love this place and will return.

THE VIEW! The view alone exceeded my expectations. You couldn’t get any closer to the water. We watched turtles and whales from the lanai every morning with a cup of coffee. Pure paradise. The condo was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and the unit was very clean. The bed was also very comfortable. May was great to communicate with- so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back.

Loved that there was a Keurig coffee maker too! The pool and beach are just steps away, which made for staying in quite nice on the days we didn't explore. Excellent dining right in the complex as well as close by. Would recommend this place with high marks.

The view is the main selling point of this condo. We were able to do lots of whale watching from the patio. Everything else about it was lackluster. We had issues with cleanliness upon checking in but the property manager was very responsive and that was appreciated.

My family and I have been coming to Menehune Shores for many years and have stayed in Jenny’s condo several times. Jenny is the absolute best host, very communicative and always helpful. She takes great pride in her condo and wants to know immediately if anything needs attention, which she tends to quickly. We are already booked for next year, as the condo offers everything my family needs and wants. The view is fabulous, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning is great and the beach gear is plentiful. The kitchen is adequately stocked to prepare simple meals. Nice condo with many amenities and again, a wonderful host to work with Thank you for sharing this slice of paradise.

Clean cool breezy condo located at the end of the 4th floor giving you lots of privacy & unobstructed gorgeous views of a beautiful orange dreamsicle sunsets & glistening ocean of an authentic Hawaiian fishpond! The landscape around the condo is well taken care of, the pool is clean & rarely busy, the on property Indian cuisine restaurant serves delicious meals & has a impressive bar with bay windows giving you panoramic views of the west Maui Mountains to the right & Molokini & Kahoolawe islands to the left. Parking was abundant. Purchasing groceries & picking up rx from CVS was a 5 min drive. Kihei was a fun town & super close to the airport. Next time we’re in town, I look forward to booking this condo. It has everything you need. We appreciated the starter pack of toiletries! Also, being able to travel light because we could wash clothes was also a bonus! Overall, we had a lovely staycay & can’t wait to return!

The condo had a lovely ocean view and its location was central for exploring the island. The furnishings were adequate. Unfortunately, there had been a flood several days before we arrived, and we understand some residents were not able to move their cars for a while because of the mud. It had been cleared out of the parking lot by the time we arrived, but south Kihei Road was closed near us for repairs during our visit and sidewalks in the area were still covered in 6 or so inches of mud. We were told this is a rare occurrence, but it is something to consider during the rainy season.

Menuhune is located right on the water. It is easy to get to, modest and not pretentious. Since all of the beaches are public, I see no reason to stay anywhere else. The accommodations were as pictured. We did sit on the balcony and watch the whales play every morning. (we were there in late Jan. early Feb.)

Loved the lanai as it was shaded all day long so was always comfortable. Condo sited so that with all doors and windows open there is a nice breeze right through it. Never had to use the AC. Lots of supplies and kitchen was well equipped. Close to Kihei road so there is quite a bit of road noise during the day until 10 pm or so. If condo closed up you probably would not notice it. Enjoyed the on site restaurant. Owner quick to reply to questions.

Arrived just after major storm and flooding with mudslides. Excellent communication with property managers. After the rain; had unexpected water shut off due to hydrant damage not on site. The unit was as described with excellent bedding; AC; wonderful appliances - especially the never empty pitcher! Check out was smooth and very clear; with no major requests. We really enjoyed our stay at the Speth's Kihei home. Jim was very helpful throughout the rental process and in answering questions up until our stay. Their onsite person was equally supportive. The ocean view from the living room and lanai is amazing. We enjoyed watching whales through binoculars (provided by the host) and checking out the sea turtles resting on the rocks. The unit’s location is quiet and peaceful excepting the gardening activity that keeps the grounds looking so pristine. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms had ample drawers and hangers for clothes. The ocean view is from two of the three bedrooms, too. It was a treat to hear waves breaking when it was quiet at night. Though we didn't cook, the kitchen is well equipped for those who do, with a variety of appliances, cookware, and even basic spices. We tried some new restaurants from the list of recommendations. Threes and Maui Brewing Co were both very good. They were worthy supplements to family favorites Mama's Fish House, Tommy Bahama, and Hali’imaile General Store. One thing to note for people using canes or walkers is the curb transition from the parking lot to the ground floor walkway is rather steep. There are areas that are less steep, though you may need to walk a bit further for unit access. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't mind returning for a repeat sisters' trip. Beautiful view of the ocean and fish pond. We saw lots of whales and turtles. The downside was the major storm that dropped heavy rain and caused flooding and mud slides all around us, which made travel from the room difficult. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay. Property manager was on top of things and check in was a breeze.

Trip was in January, so ended up not using the air conditioner. Just opened the door of the lanai and let the Hawaiian breeze in!! We did get little cockroaches appearing, and the management rushed in to put tons of traps all around the apartment. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 days. Did not want to leave. Even the Lagoon in front of the property was a huge surprise as we snorkeled with hundreds of fish and 19 turtles on the last day there. It is very shallow so some people just walk all the way in to see the turtles... we snorkeled every day in many different locations and right there in our Backyard, I saw a baby eel and a 20 inch surgeonfish... great trip!

We have stayed in Kihei twice and I feel like this is the perfect property. It is fairly far north but unlike the places more south, it is directly on the water. The Menehune Shores staff keeps the property SPOTLESS. Absolutely beautiful grounds and amenities. The unit itself is up-to-date, was super clean and has all of the things you need to enjoy the beach. The water section in front of the property is a great place to swim and is very easily accessed. A lot of rental properties embellish their balcony views but the views from this unit were even better than pictured. Lastly, communication from the host was top-notch. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend staying in this rental.
