This is a well equipped and well maintained and decorated unit. As a cook, I'd like a little better selection of knives. It had no metal spatula for the grills, but fear not, I bought one.

This unit is in a central location. The oceanfront views and beach access were amazing. It was exactly what we had hoped for. Plenty of space for 5 adults to feel comfortable.

We loved this condo! First floor was perfect for sitting on patio and watching the whales or playing on the beach. Condo comes complete with everything needed from beach chairs to binoculars. We loved having the grassy area right off patio and would be great for young kids. The whole complex seemed well maintained and grounds crew kept everything beautiful (even gas grills were cleaned every day and looked brand new). We loved the proximity to food trucks and shops. We would definitely stay her again.

The photos for this listing do not do this condo justice. I was worried that the ground-level view would be somewhat obstructed by the rock wall or hedges in front but it is absolutely not. This place was so perfect for our family of three adult couples. Each bedroom was separate from the others making for private spaces for everyone. Yet we could come together in the living and dining areas, as well as the lanai, with plenty of seating for all six of us. The master bedroom had its own very spacious bathroom, and the second bathroom was very spacious as well. Both showers are large. I could go on and on about how great this unit is. There are three beaches and a pool just steps from the lanai. And turtles! So many. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurant but it was nice to know we could walk 50 steps to eat or drink if needed. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed at Menehune Shores during our previous visit and this rental had everything we needed. Really enjoyed staying on the first floor and being able to walk out easily to the beach, go see the turtles who rest on the rock wall, watch the sunset, head to the pool (not heated and was too cool for us), or go to the BBQs. The unit was stocked perfectly with no shortage of everyday items like washer pods, dishwasher tabs, soap, garbage bags, etc. Loved that there was beach gear available for us to use. There is no umbrella but Boss Frogs has everything else you need for a very affordable price. The unit was very well kept and clean. Also try the restaurant! Great food.
The only issues we did run into was: the noise from the A/C condenser pump in the laundry room which was very loud when it would kick on waking us up in the middle of the night. It could not be looked at during our stay by a specialist. The toaster was broken but was replaced super quick with no issue, the oven took an hour to heat up which was looked at but the same issue occurred the next day when used.
Other than that our stay was good. Thank you for letting us stay in your rental!!

Walking into the condo for the first time and seeing the amazing view of the ocean was breathtaking. It was so nice being on the bottom floor and just walking directly outside, and not having to take groceries upstairs. We were able to walk from the condo to see the turtles swimming and basking on the beach. The restaurant on the property was very good. We enjoyed having that view as well from the restaurant. I expected other places to eat and shop within walking distance from the condo, but there were none.

If you have kids, this is the best place to stay. You can’t beat the location. This was our second time at Menehune and we’re already planning our next vacation! The beach is perfect for kids to build confidence in the water plus there are turtles everyday! The pool is great for kids too! Skip the restaurant however, just cook in the kitchen which was well stocked! This was probably the best stocked rental we’ve ever been in. There was dishwasher pods, laundry soap, dryer balls, plus many kitchen food items such as oils, spices, and coconut cream. We also liked the small beverage fridge in the kitchen. Another thing we loved about this unit was being able to watch the sunset from the lanai every night. Stay here! You will love it!

We feel we had the best views and location on the property. We woke up and saw sea turtles every morning on our beach and saw the sunset from our lanai every night. Being in the ground floor, our kids played on the softest and greenest grass right in front of our condo. The condo is as listed and had everything we needed. The owner and manager (Cheryl and Cindy) were kind, great and took care of anything we needed. The property location was the best and we could travel to any part of the island easily- which we did. Can’t wait to return.

My family and I have been to Maui a number of times and this is by far the BEST vacation we’ve ever had. The house, the ocean-side location, and all of the amenities you could dream of made this home an oasis for us. We were a family of 6 (grandparents, kids under three and two couples) and we will definitely be staying at Cheryl’s place next time we visit the island. I promise for anyone looking to book an ocean-side spot in Kihei, this is the place to book!

Too many great things about this property to list. Among our favorites about the condo itself were: exactly as advertised, spacious, clean, had everything needed for 6 adults and one infant including pack-n-play, stroller, high chair, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, pool towels, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and AC. The property has a nice pool that is not crowded and two nice grilling areas. We used the rooftop grilling area for a family dinner one evening and had a great time. The owner is fabulous and super easy to work with. She provided all information needed well beforehand and answered any questions we had very quickly. The location is close to everything which is great. You can easily access the beach right outside the condo door in a very short walk both to the left and to the right. Both are nice beach areas and the beach to the right has sea turtles on the beach every morning. It was very relaxing to stroll down to see the turtles in the mornings. The view is spectacular from sliding doors, it is ocean front. I loved being on the ground floor to be able to walk right out to either beach and the pool area daily. Lots of long beaches to walk plus a small wave-protected beach for young kids and a nice pool.
Perfect for 4 adults (2 couples) and 2 young children. All with separate rooms.
Well stocked with cooking appliances.
Only drawback is being a long walk to local shopping and a selection eating places.

The condo was exactly what we wanted couldn’t have asked for anything more very clean. The ground floor was perfect for access to the Beach and convenient for getting in and out. The location is central to for visiting all the places we wanted to see and shop. The grounds were clean as well as the bbq’s and pool area. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a three bedroom condo we will definitely consider staying there again in the future.

This listing is exactly as advertised. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars across the board is because some items could use some upgrading. This is an older condo building but everything in the unit worked fine and there were many thoughtful extras that everyone would appreciate
The units location is positively fantastic especially for families with young children. There is access to a great lawn that overlooks the ocean and the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets. During season, lots of whales sightings. On the beach, turtles are daily visitors.
Super close to markets and very easy access to all the properties amenities.
The owner was super responsive. It was a great stay.

Beach access great for all ages, shallow inner reef area. Turtles, a plethora if fish, and so much to see snorkeling right out front of condo. Condo has everything we needed for an 8 day stay. Beds comfortable, linens good quality, and unit was immaculately clean. So many extras for all your needs. High chair and stroller. Snorkel supplies, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, too. A/C helped with humidity.
Our host Cheryl was so gracious and checked on us upon arrival.
Booking and all information needed were first rate!

Fantastic property that was easy to get to and close to everything we wanted to explore. We loved being able to enjoy the lanai first thing in the morning and the daily sunsets over the water were absolutely breathtaking! The beach supplies made all the difference as well- had our first ever snorkeling experience and were able to see turtles and fish right there by the fishpond. Whale sightings were pretty amazing as well! Hoping that this once in a lifetime trip can be repeated again soon! Thank you Cheryl for having all the things we would need to travel light and still have everything we would need to enjoy the beach!

Great location within 40’ of the water. Large lanai perfect for happy hour, sunsets and viewing turtles! The ground floor location and proximity to BBQ made it very convenient for grilling. Yes, we did enjoy our stay at Cheryl’s wonderful condo in Kihei, Maui. As others have noted the beautiful grass area, gentle beach and nice pool are ideal for children. We did enjoy seeing turtles in the evenings. All more than we could have hoped for. Cheryl’s unit I would have to believe, is the most ideal location in the entire complex. It was very well stocked with kitchen supplies and beach supplies. The lanai was such a nice place to unwind in the evening and enjoy the sunset. The condo is very well arranged and very well maintained. The grills on the roof and by the pool are also very well maintained and we took advantage and barbecued some steaks one evening. With our two toddlers and a three-year-old, it was great having a location with no steps to deal with. Our thanks go out to Cheryl for her good communication and kindness in taking care of our extra requests. It was one of those great family experiences that we will always remember. Would love to be able to return sometime soon!

The location of this is perfect. Central location with a
short drive to Road to Hana in one direction, Lahaina the other. Views from the lanai are GORGEOUS. We saw turtle out feeding around the rocks of the fish pond every single time we looked. The daily afternoon tradewinds helped with the heat. We had one pretty important issue with the plumbing which was addressed immediately with Cheryl and fixed within a few hours. The communication was 5 ⭐. If you come, make sure you check into the unit before you head to the store. We bought paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap....none of which we needed. They had many extras already in the unit when we got there, including aloe vera, bug spray, and body lotion. Lots of boogie boards and snorkeling gear in the closet, as well as beach chairs and towles. We would absolutely rent this unit again. No complaints here! Mahalo!

This was a wonderful property to use as home base for our stay in Kihei. There was a spectacular view of the ocean and it was literally right outside our back patio. The complex is right against the ocean after a short span of lawn and it's a resting spot for turtles which we could see every morning and evening. The unit itself was very well stocked with not only cooking basics in the kitchen but also binoculars, boogie boards, board games, books, DVD's, etc. which was perfect for our family. Most of the time we had the front and back lanai doors open with just the screens closed and there was a great breeze that flowed through the unit. The few times we did use the A/C it worked great. I would highly recommend this unit for both it's location as well as its welcoming vibe and comfort!

I looked at many places to stay in Kihei as well as within Menehune Shores and this home stood out among the rest. Beautifully updated, ground floor for easy outdoor access and really well stocked in every way. The owner was so very accommodating and kind checking in on us to assure we had gotten in okay. The location on the beach was very convenient - we all loved the beach and the pool. Everything was clean and well appointed in the condo. Getting up at sunrise to see the sea turtles was amazing and we learned about the loko a'i (fishpond) that was used for centuries to provide fish for the king. We had a fabulous time and would recommend this rental without reservation.

We loved this property because everyone had a bedroom to sleep in and we loved waking up in the morning and sitting on the lanai drinking coffee. Condo is located on first floor which was very convenient and can’t beat the beautiful ocean. Will absolutely stay here again!

The location was ideal, especially if you have kids. The fish pond is a great place for kids to swim and snorkel and the pool was nice also. Every morning there are turtles sleeping on the beach. We loved being able to walk right out to the water.

Cheryl's Condo was our best trip thru VRBO. Her description was perfect and had plenty of chairs, snorkeling gear, and sand toys for all of us. Having 3 bedrooms gave all of us just the right amount of space when needed and the living/dining room for all of us with plenty of room to spare. I loved the kitchen it was well stocked and the appliances were all newer and in great working condition.
And what can I say about the Lanai.... My husband was up every morning having a cup of coffee with his brother and drink a beer every sunset! The view was stunning!!

We had a fantastic time at Cheryl's condo this May, and would highly recommend booking here to anyone looking to stay in the Kihei area. There were five of us in total that stayed for two weeks, and the condo was the perfect size for us. We particularly enjoyed snorkeling in the areas around Kihei, and the oceanfront nature of the condo was a huge plus, allowing us to easily access the beach and the water. Working with Cheryl was a pleasure as well; everything was very clearly communicated and organized. The condo is well-equipped for longer stays like ours. We will definitely be looking to rent with Cheryl again when we come back to Maui!

Cheryl was a wonderful and accommodating hostess, who stayed in close communication at all times, to ensure we were happy and had all that we needed. The beautiful condo sits on the ocean front overlooking an amazing turtle sanctuary. They had immaculately manicured and colourful gardens. It was a joy to watch our young grandchildren do somersaults on the lawn in front of the linai every morning and evening. In the evenings (around 7 PM) we could walk past the pool and whale centre to watch the turtles crawling up onto the sandy beach. There were enough waves for the kids and adults to do body surfing for hours on end. The snorkelling in this area is also excellent. Two of the bedrooms overlook the ocean and you can fall asleep to the sounds of waves at night. Staff at the property were also very helpful. We certainly hope to return to this same guest house in the future.

We recently spent our spring break at this location and had an excellent time. The area is the perfect location for all that Maui has to offer.
Going during the spring break we expected significant numbers of people. The area at Menehuene is exactly the opposite. After walking in and seeing the amazing view that is right out your window, you look to the left and see a beach that was basically empty. The beach off to your left is a little rocky, and the water is not a place to snorkel, however, if you want the chance to leave your deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and walk on the beach with no one around... then this is your spot. While this beach to the left is not the spot for a lot of people, it is a cruising spot for lots of turtles. We would be standing in the ocean up to our knees and turtles would swim by within 10 feet of where you are standing.
Off to the right of the complex and within a short walking distance there is another beach that is less rocky but also almost completely empty in terms of people. This also is not an area to snorkel, but a good spot to just relax in a quiet environment.
The condo had everything that we needed for our stay. The only thing you need to bring is sunscreen, food, and (if you intend to venture down to Wailea or McKenna to snorkel) snorkel gear. The beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers were all in good shape and used often.
The location is close enough to shops and food that makes it very convenient. Excellent snorkeling is not far down the road, maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Windsurfing can be found about the same distance north in Paiea. It really is located in an excellent spot.
The place really is a great spot. We really enjoyed it. Cheryl was excellent to work with. She truly has an interest in making sure that her guests have a wonderful time. We are already planning our return trip next year.

We enjoyed our stay at Menehune Shores 115! The location was great due to the central location on Maui and having a ground floor ocean view condo was amazing! The owner was very helpful and gave us lots of tips for our stay. All of the amenities such as air conditioning, beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach umbrellas and boogie boards made our stay wonderful. The property manager was great, he came by and converted the two twin beds into a king for us before my son and his family arrived and he also called to inform us of an island wide boil water advisory long before we heard about it on the news. We saw sea turtles in the fishing pond right outside our condo and loved that the water was not too deep for our 4 year old granddaughter to play in. We would absolutely stay again when visiting the island of Maui!

Spacious, clean, with beautiful views right on the water! Many of the condos in the area sit far back from the ocean with minimal views, this unit couldn't get any closer! Loved the grass in the back of the unit for the kids to play and the fishing pond is perfect for little ones.

This is an outstanding rental. We have stayed at 7 other condo's, and 3 others here at Menehune Shores. This is by far our favorite! Very clean! Well laid out with 2 master suites. The view is amazing. Beach access is right out the slider. Very well stocked, no need to buy extra's. Everything is beautiful! We will be staying no where else on Maui!

The rental was perfection personified! The condo is beautifully decorated and well appointed - equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Very clean, well stocked (beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear - a "beach all-inclusive!). The ground floor location made for easy access from the parking lot, and easy access to the beach from the lanai for leisurely walks on the un-crowded beach. Morning coffee on the lanai is a must! The roof top deck is also a must! Both the Lanai and the roof is the perfect place to unwind and take in the oceanfront view and the stunning sunsets. Great location - so easy to get to all the many sights that Maui has to offer (Road to Hana, Haleakala Crater, Paia, Lahaina, Alii Kula lavender farm, Nakalele Blowhole, etc) . I would highly recommend checking out Kai Kanani Sailing Charters for snorkeling & sunset cruises. The owner, Cheryl Peterson, was so easy to work with. She was the perfect hostess from the start to finish - from booking the unit, to calling upon our arrival to make sure everything was in order and to our satisfaction. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to have an epic vacation.

We took our son, daughter-in law and two grandkids for a week and this unit was perfect. The ground floor worked out great for kids to play on the grass. It is very clean, modern, and well appointed. The view is fantastic and it is just a few steps to two different ocean beaches as well as the pool. We will return again. The owner is absolutely fabulous to work with!

We feel so lucky to have found this condo. It was perfect for the five of us: each bedroom is nicely decorated and the two bathrooms fit our needs. This condo had been remodeled and we were very impressed how beautiful everything was. It was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed, including beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear..you name it! At first I wasn't too thrilled about being on the ground floor, but that ended up being the best part of it all. The location is fabulous! We often sat on the lanai, enjoying the oceanfront view. It was nice to be able to walk right out the back door and go for a walk. One of our friends actually went on a outrigger paddling trip, which they do every Monday, Wednesday and Friday right by the condo. You can also snorkel there and you'll see plenty of turtles. There is an Indian restaurant in the building if you don't want to venture out to eat. If not, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby (best to have a car, nothing really in walking distance). The owner, Cheryl Peterson, has been a pleasure to work with. She always quickly answered any questions we had before the trip and called us the day we arrived to make sure everything was okay.
We absolutely loved this condo and are so happy we ended up with it. This was our first time using VRBO and if every experience will be as positive as this one, then we have it made! We HIGHLY recommend this unit and hope to come back here soon.
