We loved this unit I was hesitant to stay in Kihei as it feels like a city and not remote like west Maui where I have gone for 30yrs. We decided due to fires to try this location. This condo was the best trip we have had. Owner has it stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach chairs, umbrella, noodles,beach towels, coolers. The unit is ocean front with view of the huge turtles all day laying on the rocks in from. Now to the ocean access right outside the unit is a lagoon with sand bottom and easy for anyone to enjoy the water. There is an Indian restaurant downstairs that was wonderful as well.

When we walked into the condo, all we saw was the gorgeous ocean view! We sat on the balcony several times during the week and just enjoyed the ocean, the islands, and the rainbows. I especially liked that it had a pool and a beach. We used both. The condo is well-equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and cooler with refreezable ice packs. The condo was conveniently located to explore the islands. 15 -30 most places. Maybe 45 to the Lahaina area. And lastly, the turtles! The beach is beside a marine science place. They’ve built a jetty and the large turtles come in to rest. You have to stay outside the posts and 10 feet away, but you can definitely see them as they sleep on the rocks!

We found the unit just as described on Vrbo. Well equipped and you could not beat the oceanfront views. Just a few steps away from the elevator, and from the pool and the beach access. Loved hearing the waves. Enjoyed the beach towels, beach chairs, and cooler provided. The bed was comfy. Our host was accessible when needed. I would recommend! Not to complain, but on a wish list would be single serve coffee maker.

From the cute decorations to the drop dead gorgeous views from the lanai, this condo was such a wonderful treat for us in Maui. Everything was just a short drive away, even the beach outside the condominiums was home to many sea turtles for our viewing pleasure. Our host was great at communicating with us especially with all the horrible tragedies surrounding Lahaina.
The only issue we found was low water pressure in the shower. This in no way would deter us from wanting to stay here again, 10/10 would come back!

This property was wonderful! The location is great. It is close to restaurants, beaches, grocery stores, and the main highways. We didn’t realize that many properties didn’t have their own beach or beach access so we were thrilled to have a beaches on both sides of the property. The host, Pam, was very quick to respond to messages before and after check in. She was so helpful. The view was amazing!! The unit was very close to the elevator too so that was very convenient. If we ever get to come back to Maui we hope we can stay here again!!

Unfortunately, we happened to arrive in Maui a day before the devastating fires started near Lahaina and Kula. While that surely changed the focus during our trip from vacationing to volunteering and staying out of the way, our condo was a very calming space. It was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had gorgeous views of the water. Check-in was a breeze, there are two great beaches on both sides of the complex and amenities nearby were plentiful. You can't ask for much more!
When we return to Maui, we'll be staying here again.

We had never been to Hawaii and decided this was a great adventure to celebrate our 50th. We loved the location in Kihei. The condo overlooked the historic fish pond and we could see turtles from our lanai. A simple walk down one floor to swim in the ocean or pool. We are outdoor people and felt that we were out doors most of the time even if we were in the condo. From our lanai, we saw kite surfers, outriggers, snorkelers. It was very entertaining.
The condo was extremely well appointed with a cook's kitchen ,bedding, and towels that were first class. The bedroom closet had all manner of beach towels and gear for us to use.
I absolutely loved it and would not look anywhere else to stay if we are fortunate to make a return trip to Maui.

We enjoyed our coffee watching the sunrise on the lanai. The turtles in the fish pond were a highlight each day to watch. Lots of beaches for walking, a quiet setting with excellent sunset views and the A/C unit were great! It was stocked for most everything we needed.

My wife and I stayed at Maui Moon for our wedding into honeymoon vacation. Quite possibly the greatest 2 weeks of our lives! The condo was amazingly decorated, clean, and overall great. The couch and bed were super comfy to just nap on after long days, but the star of the show is the patio. It's a standard patio itself, but my god that view...that view made the trip so magical. We would spend every morning out there listening to the ocean, watching the palm trees sway in the wind, and feeling that Maui breeze on our faces. And every night we'd watch the sunset change the sky into an almost watercolor painting of radiant colors until it eventually rested behind the mountains.
And Pam is just the nicest person you may ever meet in your life. She was very responsive whenever we had questions, and she gave us so many amazing recommendations for eating and adventuring!
We can't wait to come back and enjoy staying here again.

The grocery stores are less than a 10 minute drive away and the drive to Haleakala is reasonable as well!

I can’t give this place a good enough rating. It is exactly as pictured and described. We visited in mid February and the views were stunning. There were a minimum of 8 turtles sun bathing on the rocks every day, along with some very playful whales not far off in the distance that we enjoyed watching from our lanai.

A nice condo with a lovely view, easy access to the beach and a quick drive to most of Maui’s attractions. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed comfortable. The kitchen range was a bit temperamental but we managed to find burners that worked and had some lovely meals. Internet worked well.

We absolutely loved staying here. The condo had everything we could possibly need. It was exceptionally clean and quiet. We spent every evening on the lanai enjoying some of the most spectacular sunsets ever and watching the flying fish perform in the little bay out front and every morning watching the dawn break with a cup of coffee and our turtle friends. This was our first time using VRBO in Hawaii. We absolutely loved this condo - the location is great, beautiful views of the bay, a wonderful 1+ mile beach for morning walks (with few people in September), and a beautiful condo that has everything you need for a great stay! The kitchen is fully stocked, and we especially appreciated the beach chairs/umbrella/beach towels. Seeing sea turtles against the rocks every day was such a treat. Recommend the short drive or walk to Sugar Beach Bake Shop for malasadas, and next door to that, Ululani's Shave Ice for the best on the island! With no hesitation, we would stay here again - owners are very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. Thanks for making our first vacation after Covid a great experience! Mahalo!

Check in process was incredibly easy and the property was lovely and the veiws were stunning!
Cleaning crew for the last guests could have paid closer attention to detail. There were clothes left in the dryer and upon our arrival. Not a big deal to us though.
The only real issue we has was lack of privacy. There is a public balcony directly next to the condo where people, including children, can see into the condo. Large mirrors behind the couch also inhanses the publics views inside. Not ideal.
Property maintenance crews will also try and barg inside no questions asked. The crews all have master keys and they use them! Keep the deadbolt on at all times if you don't want strangers walking in when you are in the shower. This happened twice to us during our stay.
Other than privately, we loved the property! It was in a great location only a few minutes away grocery stores and restaurants.
We greatly appreciate letting us stay and would definitely come back!

We stayed a week at this beautiful condo for a family celebration. The condo exceeded our expectations in every regard. The check in process was seamless, the communication to the point and the property as promised.
The kitchen is fully equipped which allowed us to make breakfast enjoy it on the beautiful terrace looking out at the water. The building sits along the water and has its own pool and adjacent beach.
The bed was comfortable and the condo furnished with every amenity you can possibly want on your trip to Maui.
It is very centrally located with short drives to Wailea (15 min) and Lahaina (35 min). The airport is also only 20 minutes away. We very much enjoyed the proximity to all attractions on Maui.
Maui County services runs an Olympics size swimming pool for the community just blocks away from this property—if you’re a lap swimmer this free of charge, state of the art pool in such close proximity is an added bonus.
We highly recommend this property. The owner for the unit and the condo organization for the building have done a tremendous job/are keeping the property in excellent shape. We’d stay here again as this helped make our trip to Maui special.

Maui Moon is a beautifully updated and maintained condo. Nicely appointed and very comfortable. But the big deal with this property is the VIEW. The expansive view of the Pacific, the bay and neighboring islands is stunning. A wonderful place to have breakfast, dinner and sunsets. Highly recommend Maui Moon.

This place is amazing! Absolutely spotless, the location is, in our opinion the best in Kihei - close enough to good amenities but far enough to be just a bit quieter. The view from the lanai is spectacular with whales and turtles everywhere we look! Close to elevators,pool and restaurant (which serves very good food!) Pamela is a pleasure to deal with. We will absolutely be back-hopefully sooner than later. Our new favourite spot for sure!

It would be hard to find a better property to stay at while in Maui.
Location:
All the top places to eat in Kihei are only a few minutes away. It’s a great middle spot for the island if you plan on doing things like Haleakala, Road to Hana or anything else you might be up to. When you return from your adventures there is always a parking spot at the condo, which is nice!
The ad lists all the location amenities already, and we didn’t use/explore all of them but I can say the Kalepolepo Fishpond is a major selling point to this property. While it’s the perfect place for kids to play, it’s also great for adults. They have part of the ocean sectioned off by rock walls with a couple inlet/outlets so it keeps the waves down while keeping the water fresh. You can wade all the way out to the rocks and keep your head above water, or you can snorkel or swim with the fish that make their way into the pond.
Staff were friendly and the BBQ’s are well maintained.
Condo:
The whole condo was very clean. The AC units were whisper quiet and were a life saver. Super comfy bed! Bathroom shower was great.
The view is amazing. You have a front row seat to sunsets, storms, and aquatic activities of the island. You are on the second floor so you don’t have all the foot traffic looking right at you. Really a great place to eat or just relax and enjoy the beauty of the island. Huge selling point.
The place is very quiet. The bedroom wall is right next to the main walkway and I never heard a sound.
Kitchen was well stocked with utensils.
Plenty of beach gear and towels for two people.
Issues:
The stove seems to be on its last leg as half the burners were intermittent or didn’t really work at all. Super annoying because we do like to cook some meals while we travel.
The fan in the bedroom rattled like crazy. The bearings appeared to have long since failed as there was oil dripping out of the fan. We couldn’t even use it because of the noise. Thankfully the AC worked. Though I had to shim the back of the AC unit because it also rattled randomly in the middle of the night.
Overall:
We stayed at two places while in Oahu and this one was our top pick for sure. The host was super responsive and helpful, they even managed to get us checked in early which shaved off several hours of us waiting and we couldn’t be more thankful for that. We’ll definitely be checking to see if this place is available again next time we are in Oahu.

We stayed 9 nights at this lovely condo, and it was absolutely incredible. From the sunset views, to the turtles out front that we got to marvel at daily, it truly was a magical 9 days. There was nothing that the place didn't have that I was expecting, so that was nice. AC was awesome, they had all the kitchen stuff needed as well as beach chairs and umbrella. The indian restaurant downstairs was also a nice convenience. Overall, no complaints here & would stay again without hesitation. Thank you for sharing your place!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The size and location of this condo are perfect! The view is amazing and it was awesome to find large sea turtles swimming or camouflaged in the rocks and sand within steps from the beach below. The view is amazing: literally by the sea, beautiful sunset everyday. The location is great too! 20min from OGG airport, 45min to Kaanapali, 20 min to wailea. The host takes care of you: beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, etc. 10 star experience!

Our condo was in a great location- close to all attractions. Everything we needed for a comfy vacation was attended to. Waking up to the ocean waves was a big bonus! Would stay here again.
