We loved this property. The view from the deck was an incredible with some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. The location is nice because you have the grocery close by plus plenty of smoothie and coffee places that are close. Kihei isn’t fancy like Wailea but our family of 4 didn’t need fancy. The condo is clean, has everything you need to cook/prepare food and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It’s also very quiet which is nice. We would happily stay here again.

Superbly clean. So many amenity options. The view is spectacular and driving distance to so many options as well. 2nd floor we can see everything. It’s quiet and not all the hubbub of bigger resorts which was so peaceful. Grocery store around the corner for all your wants. Sitting in the deck in the morning was like no other…. A feeling that you are really away from your own reality on vacation.

Great communication from the host. A fabulous location to the beach, the turtles were spectacular! The house had every single thing you could need on vacation. Beach chairs, snorkel, sunscreen, shampoo/conditioner, any possible thing you may have forgotten. The home was superbly equipped. The location was nice and central. Overall an amazing stay, wish it could have been longer!

Hawaii was definitely an awesome experience. This room had amazing views right on the water! Watching the sunset the nice we were there were amazing so glad we picked a unit with air conditioners. I don’t think I could’ve slept down there without them!

We love this condo. The complex is well maintained and quiet, which is exactly what we love about it. Walk right out of your unit onto a beautiful grassy area then onto the beach. The unit is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Our host is most responsive and very accommodating. We look forward to returning again soon.

The condo is fabulous- roomy with 2 BR and 2Nths, very quiet, well appointed kitchen, great having washer and dryer in unit. Views from lanai are beautiful and sunrise can be seen from the back of the unit. Retail and restaurants close by. Owner and management company were very responsive. We will stay here again!

I would have given this place 5 star except the AC unit it terrible and so noisy. Also all the electronics on the floor in from of the AC needs a table or something to clear it up. The beach and ocean view is awesome and everything else about this unit is nice. We would for sure stay here again. With the noisy AC we just opened the windows and with the trade winds it was actually pretty nice. Great to have the beach so close to have a early morning walk up and down the beach with turtles hanging around on the beach.

Condo overall is great. It's right on the beach, which is walkable, and turtles are often seen in the water. It's mid-island so it's easy to go north or south for day trips. Two bedroom - two bathroom was perfect (3 adults in our group) except ... the A/C doesn't reach the back bedroom, so it gets and stays warm back there. A fan was provided but didn't help enough. Besides that one issue, this is a great place for a Maui adventure.

Pros: The view of the ocean and neighboring islands from the lanai can't be beat.Less than 100 steps out to a great walking and turtle-sighting beach.Location is great, easy walking distances to great restaurants and shops, parks and beaches.Unit was clean, comfortable and nicely equipped for making at-home meals, new shared BBQ at end of building worked great, king bed definitely a plus over the queen beds in other similar units.Con: AC unit is undersized/underpowered. We were also there during a time when "beetles" were an issue and could not leave our window open at night. Luckily temps were not too high after the first two nights. Other than this issue, we would have rated 5 stars.

Cute cozy one bedroom condo perfect for me and my wife. It had all of the amenities that we would need. We were practically on the Water beachfront location and very nice to not have to drive somewhere to go to the beach and maybe battle crowds very quiet, not a lot of people. Amazing sunset from the lanai. Walking the beach, we even saw sea turtles.

We had a great time staying here! The beach amenities were amazing everything you need sand toys, chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkeling gear and more! The beach had turtles swimming and sun bathing everyday! The bed was comfy and place was very cute and cozy! The shower was even great for our three year old with the removable shower head. Would love to stay again!

Choosing this property for our home away from home during our visit to Maui was the best decision of our entire Hawaiian voyage thus far. Immaculate rooms, great amenities, and unbeatable proximity to the ocean. We listened to the waves crash every morning and night, and had easy access to everything Maui has to offer during the day. I did not want to leave this place!* Pro tip: This complex also has easy access to laundry in the breezeway for just a few bucks, so don't let in-room units sway you to another property!

Nice ocean view. The condo is actually more of a studio since there is no door to the bedroom at the front of the unit. A/c was nice to have and did keep the unit cool. Had all the kitchen amenities and a few spices which was nice. It also had chairs and towels for the beach which was also nice although the beach was a bit rough/windy for swimming at the time of our stay. The biggest issue was the hatch of bugs throughout the entire unit on our last night and morning before departure making it very unpleasant.

The unit was tastefully furnished, appliances were good quality, and we really appreciated the welcome goodies and basic necessities, especially the coffee. Everything was clean, plenty of towels, including beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella. Grocery stores and restaurants were close by, but the best was the beach right outside our door! What a great view to wake up to. Joe was an excellent host, very helpful.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here! The location is amazing, with stunning views and it’s right in the heart of great food spots. We’ll definitely be back! The bed was super comfy, the amenities were nice, and we even did laundry downstairs. The hosts were great to communicate with, and it was easy to check in and out. Others had left a few beach chairs and snorkel fins, which was a bonus. We had a 10/10 experience and can’t wait to come back!

We loved staying at Hale Kai O Kihei. The unit was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The property itself was quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic location and stunning ocean and sunset views every single day.The unit is on the smaller side but perfect for two guests. For a family of four, however, I would not recommend it. The pull-out couch is quite uncomfortable to sleep on, and once it is opened, there is very little room to walk through the living area to the balcony.One of our favorite parts of the stay was having breakfast on the balcony every morning and enjoying dinner while watching the sunset. The balcony is small but ideal for two people.A few suggestions for the owner:It would be great to have a TV mounted in the bedroom wall. Since there is only one TV in the living room, we had to open the pull-out couch whenever we wanted to relax and watch movies, and the couch is not very comfortable for extended use.I would also recommend adding a French press for coffee. Personally, I prefer not to use appliances made with black plastic.An electric tea kettle (preferably non-plastic) or a stovetop tea kettle would also be appreciated. I enjoy tea in the afternoons and did not have a good option for boiling water.I would suggest replacing the current cookware with stainless steel pots and pans. The existing cookware is inexpensive Teflon-coated cookware, which I did not feel comfortable using for boiling water or

Arrived, centrally located in Kihei, very easy walk to almost everything you need.First impression, it’s very small, decorated nicely. With two full size suitcases, there really was no room to have them open. Regardless, we spend little time in the places we stay, the location suited us greatly.The facility is clean, quiet.Air conditioning.. been nice to had directions. I have built engines, houses, restored motorcycles, cars.. the AC I could not get to turn on. Add to this the ceiling fans only would spin at the slowest speed. I was able to finally start the AC, you are reminded everywhere you stay about the cost of energy, I could not get the AC to stop, temp adjustment never changed the actual temp. We tried to be good people, doing minor repairs, reprogrammed the fans so they actually worked as intended.The sliding glass wall is always nice, we did have issues with the system and screens not keeping all the tiny black insects, larger insects out. Keeping all the doors sealed shut was not the reason my wife chose this, having the doors open and listening to the water, smelling the air was. Our room was full of bugs and everything had them: ceilings, counters, yourselves, food, pillows, everything. We had come down from another property, same wall of glass system, same manufacturer, same bugs, not a single one inside our room. Would we stay there again? It was more about the location vs the room itself.
