This is our second visit to this unit in 6 months. We loved the unit itself as well as the proximity to the beach and pool and particularly being on the ground floor. This complex is very low key and quiet, which is exactly why we like it. It also makes it easy to meet and talk to people, many of whom were the owners. The unit is very well equipped for a comfortable stay. We will be looking to re-book this unit again next fall.

It has a beautiful view and is so quiet. It also has everything you’d need to take to the beach…although, we didn’t find the boggie boards until after we’d already rented some. No worries though…we could have reached out and asked and just didn’t. It was central to shopping and food places. (Nutcharees..oh my heavens…so good! ..and dangerously close.) We loved that although we had our own beach right out the door, we were also an easy distance to other beaches. The lack of AC, wasn’t an issue to us even though my hubbie has a pretty low tolerance for heat. However, we were here in October, so maybe it was cooler anyway?? None the less, we’d for sure stay again!

This was our 2nd time in this unit which has had a very nice 're-do' of the FORMER 1970's look since our last visit! We like the building location because it's near a shopping center, but right on the ocean and off the busy main road in Kihei. Easy beach access. Only adverse item is the lack of a blackout shade on entry door window and wall windows in bedroom to block morning sun - for those who are light-sensitive in the morning. No AC in this unit, but ceiling and floor fans keep air moving nicely. Bed and furniture is very comfy, and unit has all necessary items for cooking...including the new frying pan we left cuz the original 10" one had a rounded bottom and didn't work properly on the glass surface stove!

We had to work in Maui for a week. I spend time in the orchards and my wife worked from the condo. This was a nice little getaway to work during the day and enjoy Maui during the evenings.

This place is everything we look for in a vacation. Coffee in the morning, happy hour at sunset, wine and star gazing….walk a few steps across the grass and onto the sand, feet in the water. Groceries around the corner, friendly people, wonderful onsite caretaker. It couldn’t get better. Thank you!

The home owner was very positive and engaged during the 11 night stay. The residence was well maintained and stocked for kitchen related needs. The view was great from the patio area, including great beach coffee in the morning and sunset views for the evenings. I will definitely request this residence again !

We loved this condo. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed - a place to start and end our days of exploring Maui. The lanai was the best place to start our day with coffee and then watch the sunset and relax after a busy day touring around. Loved being right on the ocean. Will definitely come back here next time we’re in Maui.

My girlfriend stayed here before and highly recommended it based on her previous experience. As a first timer, I would highly recommend as well. The specific locale of unit provided quick access to amazing amenities ie. sandy beach, steps away from turtle beach migrations and amazing sunsets. In addition, walking distance to groceries, restaurants, and coffee. Thanks for an amazing vacation!

I’ve been to Maui a few times and this location is perfect for doing all the activities. You walk right off your lanai to the beach for sunset! It’s clean, newly remodeled kitchen with everything you need to cook meals and only one block to the supermarket. This condo is the perfect combination of dreamy island getaway and practical functionality. We will definitely be coming back!!!

This condo was exactly as posted. Everything was great. We have never stayed in Kihei before, so this area was new for us. We loved the smaller size of this complex, as it was much more relaxing and quiet, which was what we were looking for. The condo itself was perfect. While the beach is somewhat obstructed by the sand dunes, this unit had the best visability of the ocean due to a break in the dunes directly opposite the lanai. Absolutely everything was provided and in great condition. The unit was very clean. We never needed to contact the owner during our stay, but she was quick to respond on our initial inquiry. We loved this place so much, we already have rebooked it. Thanks Tara for sharing your wonderful condo with us!

Excellent vacation stay- excellent location and right on the beach! The description isn't super clear- the property is like a 3 story motel-like unit. This unit is on the 1st floor. You park your car right in front of the condo. Out the back door is a little outdoor patio area with some seating and backyard, and the beach is 20 meters from the back door. Excellent location in Kihei with easy access to anywhere on the island. Full size grocery store is 1 block away. Property itself had a fully stocked kitchen, wifi, etc. Only issue was the kitchen sink drain was a bit clogged and the water pressure was very weak out of it. There is no AC in this unit, so that may be a concern for hot days (wasn't a problem over New Years weekend). The bathroom gets pretty warm though. Mattress was ok, not great. Overall, excellent stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Maui and I will consider returning when I come next time!

Tara was an outstanding host and the property was beyond what we expected. I have stayed at numeorus VRBO and AirB&B's and many were exceptional, this was by far the best. You couldn't ask for better communication or location. There are two food truck parks closeby that have THE best food and a grocery store is only a block away. Lots of other stores and restaurants are close by, but they are not within view because the property is looking toward the ocean. So the businesses, while close, do not interfere with the view or experience. The building is very quiet and the neighbors respectful. Tara was great assistance when our flights were messed up, she adjusted for us and took some of the stress away. The actual space has everything you could want to go on excursions, etc. I highly recommend this location and space if you are on Maui. I can't imagine what could be better and the price was very reasonable. Thanks so much Tara for making our vacation in paradise so successful. There is no question where I would choose to rent if I can ever come back.

Beautiful oceanfront view. The condo was clean and comfortable. There is no air conditioning but there are ceiling fans and two other fans. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool. No crowds, was very quiet. Parking outside the door. Would love to stay here again.

Nice unit, but no AC. No clear statement of that in the description where you book. Fans were woefully inadequate and no cross ventilation due to board on entry door.Screen door did not have a lock So u could not use that option for getting ventilation safely also.
We Found that, due to the heat, the condo was unlivable in afternoon and early evening. And this is not summer. We r Renting in the fall.
We would not rent this property again.

Our stay at this oceanfront property in Kihei was simply amazing. We have stayed within this complex 3 times and love how quiet and tranquil it is especially after traveling from the east coast of the US. The condo was orderly and clean. We loved this place. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s and this one was one of the best. We loved the location. Steps away from the beach, walking distance to the grocery store and multiple restaurants. The beach was excellent. The first evening while walking on the beach we saw an enormous sea turtle that had come ashore. We sat out there every morning and sometimes we had the whole beach to ourselves. There are so many beach related things there: beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel stuff, boogie boards, etc. if you stay in a hotel, you don’t get any of those things. We hope to come back soon.

This Vrbo in Kihei couldn’t have been better to us. Upon arriving, we immediately threw on swimsuits and hopped in the ocean — which is quite literally in your backyard. Being on the first floor made the experience unforgettable, seamlessly running back and forth from exploring the oceanside to taking a break under the shade of our lanai. The weather in this area is absolutely phenomenal, and there’s plenty do nearby whether its snorkeling or shopping. Additionally, this Vrbo has literally anything you could want. Puzzles, boogie boards, every cooking utensil — it really felt like home.

We loved our stay here. The oceanfront location was perfect. The view to the ocean is spectacular. The ground floor location was great for us. It’s so nice to walk out to the beach so easily . The condo is well equipped with anything that you’ll need while on vacation. The boogie boards are under the bed. Loved the sturdy beach chairs. The sunsets are beautiful right here; no need for fancy dinner reservations. We did enjoy Morimotos in Wailea, though. Nalu’s is a must for lunch or dinner and it’s right across the street.
Tara answered all our questions so promptly. I can’t wait to return.

The condo is absolutely perfect and exactly what we were hoping for - especially location! We were initially concerned about the weather (in June) without air conditioning in the condo, but it was not a problem and had a great breeze from the ocean all day and night. The condo is well stocked with kitchen necessities, bathroom products, beach gear, etc.
Also, at the beach right in front of the condo, we were able to watch turtles come up on the beach at sunset and swim back into the ocean at sunrise. Wonderful experience overall!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Tara’s condo. The apartment was spotless and came equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. We didn’t hear any noise from the neighbors during our stay. The location is perfect too. Step outside and you’re right on the beach. The condo is just a few minutes walk to a grocery store and a shopping plaza with plenty of restaurants.
We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

My wife and I stayed here in April. The place is nice and quiet with an amazing view of the beach/ocean from the kitchen/living room area. You can hear the waves from the couch and is relaxing for dinner nights on the back porch area. There is no A/C but you’ll never need it. There is a nice cool sea breeze that flows through the place evenly. We’ll be back here again.

My partner and I visited Maui for an anniversary/birthday trip and Tara's condo was the perfect place to stay. It's difficult to find a quality, economical stay in Hawaii, but we we found it here! All snorkel and beach equipment is provided free of charge- and the view from the patio is honestly astonishing. The bed is a little too firm for comfort, but other than that, it was fit for paradise! Tara also is a communicative, reliable host- so you'll be in good hands.

We have stayed at Tara's place multiple times. You can walk right out to the beach from your back door. Turtles often sun themselves on the beach a short walk away. A nice grocery store and some restaurants are very close. We like to cook in the condo. Tara has everything you need. A short drive south will bring you to many beautiful beaches, one after another. The sleeping setup is a bit close to the parking, it's mostly quiet, but you'll hear people cars park; so make sure to bring earplugs if you're sensitive. We had an issue with the bathroom light but it got mitigated quickly, so the owner and manager are pretty responsive.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Though I ventured out to other beaches during the day, I always came back to the condo for sunsets. Since the family still uses the home, it's well stocked with every thing you might need. I chose a central location so I could easily explore the rest of Maui - perfect location. Grocery store within walking distance. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone!

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The condo is very well stocked and very clean. The beach access from the backyard was amazing. Other tenants in the building were friendly and respectful. Kihei and this property in particular are very central to many things on the island. There was 1 thing that we did not expect - the bedroom is directly backed up against the shared parking lot (and then a public road) and it could get quite loud with cars and people passing through. One of the frosted glass panels on the front door was replaced with a clear glass panel and this gave passerbys a clear view into our bedroom. This felt like a privacy and security concern to us so we covered it up with paper and it was fine. With that being said, we'd definitely stay here again!
