The location and occur management was great but the property itself needs a better AC system and could use a little bit of TLC. The windows don’t fully shut and the curtain blocks the AC. If sitting out on the balcony, the AC unit is very loud so doesn’t make for a peaceful place and hard to hear others.

Wonderful view of the beach. Close to food and shopping. The air conditioner struggles to cool the entire unit so the second bedroom was warmer than we would have liked. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again!

The view was great and this provided a fine 'base' for us to explore south Maui. A few things about the property do need attention: (1) closets and porch are filled with junk, random trash bags of stuff, assorted beach gear, two patio tables, 8 chairs, a drying rack, empty cartons and boxes - no space! The closets and porch were not especially useable because of this. Our kids had to keep their suitcases/clothes in TV room because there wasn't any space for them in their room. (2) the window AC unit is located on the far end of the unit, next to a shutter-style window that doesn't close fully, so the cold air is blowing straight out the window. It's hot, especially the twin bed room. (3) The bedrooms and main room are open-air connected - note open space above doors. This helps with the heat, but it means there is no sound separation among rooms because its essentially one large loft room with walls only 90% to ceiling. (4) The pool/yard gate situation is self-locking. This means a kid could be locked into the pool area and not be able to get out. It also meant that our family had to do everything together, or be locked out of the beachfront/pool area. I was happy with management's responses, when I mentioned points (1) and (4) and gave us another key. The water was also shut off during our stay, but I think that was a roadwork issue beyond anyone's control.
In sum, this property has potential and could be fantastic with some small investment and a few changes.

This property is a hidden gem. The condo itself was clean and well-supplied, they were easy to work with and had great communication. The two rooms/bathrooms were perfect for us and our 2 teen boys. Kitchen was wonderful. The location cannot be beat. Beautiful views, quiet beach and walking distance to market/restaurants. We absolutely loved this rental and will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone!

We have stayed in Kihei many times and this was an excellent location. Right on the beach with a beautiful view and easy walking to the grocery store, coffee shops and many other stores. A short nice walk to the park and other beaches makes this a prime location that is also quiet and off the busy main street. The condo was nicely stocked and had plenty of room for our family of 4.

We had a great stay! Accommodations were as described and very clean. Loved the view and enjoyed all the sunrise and sunsets from the balcony. Short beach walk to see all the turtles beaching for the night was amazing! Neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. Hosts were very accommodating and answered all our questions. One thing we would have liked would have been access to tennis courts and the pool was a bit small. Also we were told there was no beach equipment provided so we rented some before arriving but when we got to the place we found a couple chairs and boogie boards. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Having the ocean only steps away and a variety of beaches, restaurants and shops within a few miles makes this an ideal condo to rent. Could've used a second AC unit for the front bedroom, but we were otherwise quite comfortable.

Overall the condo was nice. The view from the balcony was beautiful although we had to buy a couple of resin chairs because there were only 3 chairs (for 4 people) and one was broken. We also had to clean the condo upon arrival because there was a film of red dirt on everything and our feet were getting black from the floors. We also purchased a bath mat and new shower liner because the tub is peeling paint and the curtain was full of black mold. Other than that the place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The property manager for the whole building keeps the pool and grounds looking beautiful and pristine.

The positives - you can't beat the view of this place, it is amazing being right on the ocean! And ocean/beach access is right out the main floor of the property. The space is large and the kitchen is gorgeous. The beach is full of coral however and it smashes against your feet from the strong waves when you try and first go in so water shoes would help!
On the other hand, the bathrooms are very old and not upgraded, the tubs are all cracked and didn't drain very well. There was a musty smell in the bathrooms. I think they are doing renos soon which would really help. The bed is not overly comfortable but at least it was a King size. There is no insuite laundry, you have to go to the main level and pay for use and the machines look about 30yrs old but at least they work. This apartment directly overlooks the pool so is not as private as some of the other units and you can also hear people in the pool all day - we were always out so wasn't a huge deal.
Finally, the location is not in walking distance to the main bars/restaurants in Kihei. There is a grocery store and few strip malls right around the corner but it is about a 5min drive/30min walk to go south on the main road to get to where all of the action is. Had we known this we may have tried to stay closer to the action, but it depends on the type of vacation you are looking for.
I would certainly recommend this place for the price, size and beach proximity!

I wasn't real excited about spending a week in a condo because I thought it would be noisy and surrounded by a bunch on constant activity. We had a change of plans due to an angry volcano so my window to make a decision on what was available at the time was small. I really got lucky though finding this place. It was the total opposite of what I expected as far as noise and activity. I think sometimes we even might have been considered the noisy ones. I think a lot of effort is put into keeping it that way. The beautiful uncrowded beach was right outside the back door, the shops that are close by were not only convenient but they were actually full of everything we needed and wanted. Such as the Maui Quilt Shop, and numerous high ranking on Yelp choices to eat at, Jain - an awesome masseuse at Maui Inner Shine - best massage I've had possibly ever. Our trip was everything I hoped it would be. The big bed was a little hard for me but I slept so good every night, maybe I should get a harder mattress? The temperature was good throughout the condo, the fans over the beds were a plus. It's not like a luxury hotel but if you're wanting a place to call home for a week or so in a great location that offers peace and tranquility this is a great choice. The sunsets were incredible too- enjoy them right out on the balcony. Everything worked, which when you're staying somewhere longer than 24 hours is very important. We had 6 people - 5 adults one 4 year old. We were fine with the space, besides if you feel a little cramped the vast ocean with a wonderful beach is a minutes walk away or the pool is really nice too, even closer. Everything is very well kept up, the pool, the BBQ, the grounds. I hope to stay here again, my only real negative of this last visit would be that our trip wasn't long enough. Our family of 5 loved staying in #305! The condo was comfortable and the view was amazing! We visited a few beaches but our favorite was the one at the condo. Just a short walk across the lawn to soft sand and sea turtles. You are close to everything you need: stores, craft markets, shave ice, etc. yet, the condo feels quiet and secluded. We looked at lots of condos but couldn't have been happier with our choice.
