The outdoor view was amazing. The room was adequate. I was so disappointed that the elevator was broken down. It had been down for 2 weeks prior to our stay and the HOST didn't even know it. It never was workable during our stay of 2 weeks. The bed was comfortable with additional fans to keep us cool in the bedroom. The rug is overdue for a thorough cleaning. Walking across the rug barefooted left me with dirty feet. Maybe just consider putting in flooring instead of a rug.

First off I live in California, my occupation requires me to drive all over Monterey and Santa Cruz county, I also visit San Francisco regularly so I’m very accustomed to seeing beautiful beaches and sights but the view from this condo was absolutely stunning! The pictures in the advertisement don’t do it justice, if anyone could find something to complain about then they must be very hard to please. The ocean is right off the lanai, and to get into the warm calm ocean takes about 30 seconds unless you’re walking on island time.My wife and I love going in the ocean but we dare not where we live due to water temperature, But both of us were in the water for hours at a time and the water was so clear you could see the sea turtles literally swim right by.I don’t think a day went by without us seeing turtles right from the lanai, perfect place to wake up and drink coffee or juice and eat breakfast, so relaxing. The condo also had all the appliances the we needed pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, even had a boogie board and fins for snorkeling.We went to Honolulu for our honeymoon and stayed in a skyscraper on the 36th floor with a sweeping view, but the view from this location blew my mind, the only complaint I have with this unit is that I had to leave.Very well done, thank you so much, from the Venuti’s.

I chose this unit because of the fact it was 30 steps to the ocean. Views were amazing! Great communication with the host. Best side of maui!

Pictures and reviews of the property, as well as its proximity to the ocean, were spot on. No regrets whatsoever and would always look to rebook here. I mean, you have what ends up being essentially your own private beach every day. You swim with the turtles. The A/C in both the living room and bedroom were downright chilly they worked so well. Great kitchen, nice counter space and shower in bathroom, walking distance to a few restaurants and food trucks. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return someday!

So many issues with this stay. I’ll go in order of annoyance. 1. The air conditioning was awful! There was no central a/c. The bedroom was hot, yes even with the fan on. One of the most important things about vacation is getting great rest. I slept horribly! 2. The pillows were awful. They were all pretty firm, so being in a hot room with uncomfortable pillows was even worse! And I tried all of them. 3. Not allowing you to check in until 4 pm but making you check out by 10am with absolutely no grace is ridiculous. I had to just sit in my car waiting to be able to go in for several hours. I took an early flight so I could have time there but that time was totally wasted. 4. The railing on the lanai was covered with bird poop. So gross. We’re talking the top and bottom. It’s clearly been there a long time to accumulate that much in various states of decay. 5. You finally arrive with your drinks and groceries after you can get in and there’s no ice. I get that they can’t keep full ice trays. Fine! Then leave a little bag of ice! The condo was hot, no a/c on and no way to have a cold drink. 6. The cooler that they have for you in the condo is gigantic! It’s for a huge family. Totally useless and there was only 1 tiny plastic ice pack for it anyway. 7. There’s zero flexibility in rescheduling, even for a medical emergency. I fractured my foot 1 month prior to this trip and the condo was the only part of my trip that refused to let me reschedule. I even offered documentation.

My husband and i stayed here first for seven days. We loved it place was a little small but it was just the 2 of us. It has everything you need from towels, cooking dishes.2 draw backs you can't access the beach till 8a.m , because the gates are locked. And 2nd the ac condenser unit is outside on the patio making to hot to sit outside very long. You do see alot of turles and manta rays. We saw one monk seal. All in all we would stay here again! This condo was a ground-floor dream. From the lanai, it's a few steps on the grass to the edge of the water. We spent a lot of time on the lawn and nearby beach, it was pretty quiet and we saw very few other guests. The ones we did interact with were friendly. The condo included everything I needed to make the most of my stay, including beach chairs, beach towels, and a floatie tube. Additionally, the condo location was great, a quick walk from a great cafe, a public beach, and shops nearby. There is a window AC unit, although the cross wind breeze when all windows were open, with the waves crashing in the distance, was truly peaceful and pure bliss. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. The only downside is that this condo is a true ground-floor unit and is directly in front of the ocean, which means it could use some updating in a few areas.

We had a wonderful trip! The location cannot be beaten, and the condo had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the laundry in the closet as well. I did not realize the AC was a wall unit located in the living room, but the Maui breeze kept the condo comfortable at night. The small beach in front of the condo had sea life and turtles. The view from the lanai was incredible. We can’t wait to return!

Pay attention to the fact that it's a mountain view and not an ocean view. Property has very little landscaping on the ocean side compared to other properties. A drying rack would be nice. The balcony is the width of a chair and isn't good for drying because things blow away. Kitchen is stripped clean of any and every food item however there was salt and pepper.

Overall the property has everything we needed including kitchen appliances, towels, and beach chairs. It was very clean. Couch is older and out-dated but they provided a clean couch cover. Small AC unit worked well.Only complaint is they do not allow any sort of early check- in whatsoever. Nor do they have a space to store luggage. We ended walking around town with our luggage waiting for our check in time which was difficult.

We always stay at the Kaleialoha when in Maui because it's a terrific value. You can't beat the ocean front accommodations and amenities. The units are clean, quiet and spacious for two people. The biggest plus for us are the daily visits from the Sea Turtles and beautiful fish we see while snorkeling right in the ocean directly in front of the complex. We often take advantage of the BBQ area and pool. We find our stay to be loads better than staying at a crowded and over priced resort. Enjoy!
