We had a great stay! The property was well-maintained and our family enjoyed both the condo and the shared amenities, taking advantage of the pool and BBQ's. The condo had all that we needed for cooking and comfort, and we greatly appreciated use of a cooler and beach chairs as we often packed a lunch and hit the road to explore the island. One of our favourite things about this location was the waterfront where Honu (green sea turtles) came daily to bask on the sand and rocks when the surf was calm enough. We counted 31 laying together one day!

This condo and condo complex are simply amazing. We are a family of 4, two boys, ages 8 and 5. We absolutely loved this place. First off, the condo itself was clean, very well stocked with all the amenities, which included the best linens and pillows I have ever had in a rental. It had everything a young family like us needed to go to the beach such as chairs, towels, umbrellas, cooler, and toys, plus much more. Secondly, the property grounds are beautiful and Vince, the property care taker goes non stop to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. Hats off to you Vince. The other tenants were a bit older then us, but were very warm and inviting and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Lastly, the area itself is perfect for families. Lot of grocery stores near by to get your essentials. Lots of shopping, golf, etc, less than 10 minutes away, but most importantly, there are so many beaches to visit and enjoy, all within 10 minutes of this condo. We will absolutely be back here! Connie did a wonderful job of making her house feel at home. She had so many wonderful details, from oils to seasonings, to kids toys and books. She also had so many outside hooks to hang up our wet items from our day of adventuring. She also purchased a screen door for the condo(which hardly other units had) which provided a much needed air flow for the condo. Connie was quick to reply, easy to contact and lovely to work with. The condo was absolutely stunning, the view was breathtaking, the pool, fantastic and the turtles we seen made this condo the perfect place to take your family. My kids are already talking about coming back, which i would not be opposed to! Hopefully some day we will.

This place is truly a hidden gem - ok maybe not so hidden as its always booked, but its just an exceptional view and stay. You're own fairly private sunsets every night. Pool with a view just steps away. 2 minute walk to see the turtles. As pretty much everyone says the loft get abit hot, fans work but it wont get cool. The daily constant breeze is the life safer. Place was clean and we appreciated the extra amenities (spices for cooking, cleaning supplies etc). Highly recommend!! Only downside - its on the west side of Maui, if you plan to do the HANA road, just know its about an hour drive to the east side of Maui before you officially start that road. Other than that, which isn't really a negative, the place is well worth the stay!!

Great stay for my family! What you see is what you get. The view off the lanai is stunning and where we spent most of our time while at the condo. Condo is well stocked and the host was very communicative and easy to contact if we had questions. The beds were comfy. It did get warm in the condo but we found that the ceiling fans and other provided fans helped. There is no AC. Would definitely stay here again!

The Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf was better than advertised. I'll start with the condo: The owner, Carol, was amazing to work with. She reached out to us right after we finalized the rental and was always there with information and help. Not that we needed any help once we got there! The condo is in tip top shape with plenty of room for our family of four. The views from the balcony were amazing.Mahina Surf is a great complex - the grounds are nice, the BBQ's are great, and the pool was nice after a day of exploring the island. We also thought that the location was perfect - felt like we were right in the middle of the West Shore and everything it has to offer.We will be staying here again in the future!

Since this condo is located directly on the ocean, we enjoyed listening to the ocean and experiencing beautiful ocean breezes every day. An additional bonus was the turtle beach located right next door…so worth seeing. Connie & Joe, owners of this condo, could not have been more accommodating or responsive. The description of the unit we stayed in is pretty much bang on, it certainly is a "piece of paradise". The unit is situated in a prime location. For the price we paid I have few recommendations; The surface cleaning was done just fine, however I feel it's time for a thorough deep clean (carpets, drawers, dusting) and a fresh paint job would do wonders for the place. An updated binder is required as it's not applicable with the existing tv remotes, as we had issues. A new set of towels would be great, (no longer white) in one of the bathrooms and limited face cloths. The cutlery/dishes/pots and pans/ bowls etc were plentiful, a new can opener would be good.
The layout of the condo is very comfortable, as stated in the online listing the cabinetry and counter tops are beautiful, appliances all worked and the lanai was wonderful with an amazing view.

We loved our stay at turtle condo. We adventured out for fun days of snorkeling at nearby beaches, but also felt very lucky to sit on the lanai in the morning and evening with a pair of binoculars watching turtles and whales. Wonderful property. Right on the water. It was great to listen to the surf from the condo. We saw whales breaching from the condo and enjoyed daily visits to the shore to watch the sea turtles. Turtles just off the coast a few steps away from the door and they swim by the rocks seen from the balcony. The condo is clean, comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. The view from the balcony is sweeping and sunset is a great time to enjoy the courtyard for the views. The hosts do a great job of providing information of the area and the arrival/departure process. I love Mahina Surf and this unit was super well appointed- it had everything, even a baby bottle brush! The owners worked with me so I could get some rented baby furniture delivered ahead of our stay and were very nice.
Just be aware this is a second story unit and there’s a lot of stairs to get to the unit and then in the unit. Sort of tough with a baby and stroller etc etc.

I, my Husband and Son with fiance had a wonderful time in Maui and this condo was great. Plenty of room for the four of us. Had all appliances, dishes, etc we needed. Absolutely loved our stay! From the minute we booked, I knew this was going to be a good experience as Connie was super flexible with our dates and itinerary. She sent over so much helpful info well before our stay so we could prepare accordingly which was especially useful with our three girls (11,9,7). The property is conveniently located with short drives to great beaches and downtown Lahaina. The unit is slightly dated but clean and cozy and what it lacks in modern amenities it more than makes up for with an unreal view. We sat on the lanai and watched whales and turtles every morning and night and had our own private spot to watch the sunset. And speaking of turtles, if you’re a nature lover like my family is, this is the place for you. The little turtle beach in front of the property became our favorite place to check out everyday - we counted up to 30 turtles sleeping out there one night! We would certainly rebook on our next trip and are grateful for the communication before and during our trip, too!

A nice property with a beautiful view and turtles to greet you on the beach. Furnishings of the condo were good. The kitchen pans needed to be replaced. More towels and sheets could be provided. A little noisy being next to the pool. Fans made noise after being on awhile . There was no battery in the fan remote in upstairs bedroom.

Loved this property! It was the perfect size for my husband and myself and two young boys. They loved the loft as their own space. The beds were all super comfortable. We were so happy that there were some staples there for us, enough for a week, such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing pods, dishwashing detergent and toiletries in each bathroom. The view was unbelievable from sunrise to sunset. We saw 14 turtles at one time on the little adjacent beach property. The pool was perfect for our family. Everyone around was personable and friendly. The laundry area was coin or app pay which was helpful. Plenty of parking. We were close to many great restaurants and beaches! Connie also had beach chairs and sand toys in the closet for us and we used them everyday. She was also responsive and helpful when I texted her. She worked with us to even add a day on the front of our planned trip. Overall I couldn’t say enough. If I could come back every year I would. Perfect trip and perfect place to stay for our family of four!
