Since this condo is located directly on the ocean, we enjoyed listening to the ocean and experiencing beautiful ocean breezes every day. An additional bonus was the turtle beach located right next door…so worth seeing. Connie & Joe, owners of this condo, could not have been more accommodating or responsive. You won’t find a better host than these 2 individuals. Such a delightful stay.

The description of the unit we stayed in is pretty much bang on, it certainly is a "piece of paradise". The unit is situated in a prime location. For the price we paid I have few recommendations; The surface cleaning was done just fine, however I feel it's time for a thorough deep clean (carpets, drawers, dusting) and a fresh paint job would do wonders for the place. An updated binder is required as it's not applicable with the existing tv remotes, as we had issues. A new set of towels would be great, (no longer white) in one of the bathrooms and limited face cloths. The cutlery/dishes/pots and pans/ bowls etc were plentiful, a new can opener would be good.
The layout of the condo is very comfortable, as stated in the online listing the cabinetry and counter tops are beautiful, appliances all worked and the lanai was wonderful with an amazing view.

Beautiful condo overlooking the ocean, has grills and a pool to swim, and a nice spot to check out the sea turtles hanging out, oh and you might catch a whale here and there jumping in the mornings!! Absolutely recommend this condo! My wife and I loved it!!!

This upstairs unit has a wonderful ocean view and is equipped with so many amenities. Close to the pool and the laundry facilities are great to have on site. Beds are very comfortable and we love hearing the ocean breeze at night! We will be back.

We live everything about Mahina Surf. I love that I can do laundry, cook our own food, swim whenever, walk down to see the sea turtles, the stunning view and sunsets. Great proximity and location to everything!

We loved our stay at turtle condo. We adventured out for fun days of snorkeling at nearby beaches, but also felt very lucky to sit on the lanai in the morning and evening with a pair of binoculars watching turtles and whales. A happy, peaceful place! The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked.

This was a great place to stay. Make sure to walk down to the waterfront and follow the path to the right of the property to the little beach if you want to see sea turtles basking in the sun. This rental was perfect for our family. It was comfortable and fit us well. Its slightly dated, but honestly with the kids I was more comfortable than I would have been with everything fancy. It was simple and beachy and had a nice feel. It was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Our family of 5 spent a week in this unit. It was very clean upon arrival. The view from the lanai is INCREDIBLE. The whales were very active and we all had a great time pointing them out. Seating was ample on both the sectional and the dining table. We were even able to pull a 5th chair out on the lanai to eat dinner together overlooking the ocean. On 4 of the days, we had double-digit number of turtles come up on the beach next door. So cool! Only reasons for not giving the 5th star are that the beds are uncomfortably firm. My wife woke up sore most mornings. Also the drain in the main bathroom sink and the shower in the upstairs bath was really slow to drain. Needs some draino or something. Outstanding overall and we would definitely pick this one again in the future.

We loved the location, the views were amazing and we were close to a lot of things. The condo was well equipped and super clean. Only downside was the pots and pans should be replaced, but if you’re not doing much cooking this won’t matter. I highly recommend this condo!

The property is in a nice location. Excellent view of the ocean and spend the day just watching whale activity. The pool is also heated (for real) which I have stayed in other resorts with "heated" pools but they're not as heated as this. Great interaction with staff - they're all very friendly and accommodating.

We had a great stay! The community is quiet, and oceanfront with a spectacular view. The condo is close to zip lining, many beaches, and Whalers Village where you can take cruises. Unit comes with beach gear including chairs, umbrella, cooler, and snorkeling gear. There is even an Alexa to play music as you hang out on the lanai. Laundry is not in the unit, but rather a community laundromat. We saw so many sea turtles and whales! I recommend this place 100%.

It was related to a breaker issue and property manager responded and corrected the problem quickly both times. This was also the case when there was a problem with the fridges ice maker.

We came out here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. It was the perfect spot for us! The heated pool was so nice after a day at the beach, incredible view of the water, easy access to restaurants near by and beaches, and friendly staff as well as other people staying here. This property is amazing. It is an end unit 10’ from the ocean with ocean view from every and crashing wave you can fall asleep to. The condo is clean and spacious with an upstairs bedroom and bath. Very comfortable with a nice kitchen with ocean views also. The pool is great for kids. And the property is beautiful. The ocean is accessible from the other side of the property for surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, ect. Lots of turtles and whales viewed from the deck. Very satisfying.

We used the condo as a base to explore Napili and Fleming beaches, saw turtles just around the corner from the condo, and had a couple amazing dinners in Kanapaali.
It’s a short drive there and to Napili, but there is not too much in the way of restaurants or shops in walking distance. We did hit Miso Phat for yummy sushi, and the Whaler’s general store - both walkable.
The warm, ocean front pool and stunning views were icing on the cake for our stay. And the condo comfortably slept 5 adults.

Wonderful property. Right on the water. It was great to listen to the surf from the condo. We saw whales breaching from the condo and enjoyed daily visits to the shore to watch the sea turtles. The pool is warm and great for the kids. Excellent hosts. We'll definitely return to this property if we come back to Maui.
