Right from the start, our host Rachelle was incredibly informative and helpful, providing information that proved invaluable for our stay. The complex is absolutely stunning and just minutes from some of the island’s most beautiful beaches.We could literally watch turtles swimming in the sea right from the window, and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night. The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything we needed, and we loved that there were outdoor BBQs available (spotlessly clean, just like the rest of the property).The beds were extremely comfortable, the apartment was spotless, and honestly we felt completely at home. We genuinely can’t think of a single thing we would change.Thank you, Rachelle, for a truly memorable stay!

Amazing place with all the amenities! Boogie boards, snorkels, goggles, lawn chairs, coolers, sand toys, floaties, and more! We especially loved the Queen sized sofa bed and king sized master bed. Gorgeous views but this unit is the furthest from the ocean and pool (though closest to the parking lot for ease of emptying luggage and groceries). We loved seeing the koi pond and fountains out our door everyday, though. The kitchen had everything we could think of needing, even a blender and air fryer! Garbage bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, and toilet paper were all there for us and we replenished when needed. Papi’s Ohana nearby had amazing cinnamon buns. Times Supermarket across the street was great and so was the ABC store. Pool was amazing at 30 degrees Celsius and the hot tub was wonderful in the evening. We made good use of the pool and the beach to the south. We saw whales, dolphins, and a sea turtle! We played shuffleboard, ladderball, pickleball, and cornhole. The BBQ’s by the pool were great but far from our unit. Staff was amazing! Make sure to snorkel at Kapalua beach, see the Nakalele Blowhole, and visit the Maui Ocean Centre. The 3-D show there was incredible!Thanks to Jayne and Warren for sharing their amazing condo with us!

I loved the location. You can walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, grocery store and the ABC store is next door. My kids loved the pool and daily activities at the resort. I definitely will stay again. I updated the owner about some furniture that needed replacing and cleaning which she was very receptive and wanted to fix right away. Great view and easy location to everything.

Carol and Mike — and their beautiful home in Maui — were absolutely amazing! Carol was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. The home was in an excellent location, in great condition, and fit our large family perfectly. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook any type of meal, and the view from the balcony was truly breathtaking. I stayed in room D-105. The location was great and the pool / hot tub was wonderful. The koi pond was amazing. The staff was helpful and kind and was always ready to help. However the a/c unit location did not cool the whole condo and we had to bring the mattress out into the living room and move all the furniture around so the air could move about and stay cool. One of the burners on the stove wasn’t working and neither was the tv in the bedroom. The WiFi was turned off when we got there so we had to have someone come in and help. I think it’s ridiculous that you only get a tiny kit for necessities like dish soap and laundry but then the hotel doesn’t supply more after.
Staff, location, and pool gets 10/10 but that room gets a 2/10

We stayed in this condo for a week. It was exactly as described. Great ocean view and extremely clean. The kitchen was so well equipped. Spacious and very comfortable. Easy communication with the owner as well, which was great. The check in staff at the complex were really friendly too. We used the BBQ facilities as well, which were clean and tidy. We came on vacation with our two boys, 7 and 5, and this was the perfect location. The views were breathtaking and the Papakea facility had awesome pools. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed for the week with towels, chairs, boogie boards and more. The beach was within great walking distance and sea turtles swam right up to shore. We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved our stay at Papakea! This unit was well kept and fully stocked with EVERYTHING you could need for the beach. No need to rent or pack a snorkel mask, they had beach towels, boogie boards, a cooler, mineral sunscreen (required in Maui), beach chairs, pool noodles and more! The kitchen had all the gadgets you’d want as well as tons of spices and condiments. The beds were comfortable and had soft sheets. The living room is nice yet cozy but perfect for our group of 4. Hardly matters, we were off and gone or chilling on the lanai. This unit does not have AC but we adjusted to the temperature and humidity in a day or so. There is always a lovely breeze in Hawaii though and they have numerous fans in all the rooms to keep the breezes going. Papakea is a great, serine place. The grounds are lovely and the pools are never crowded. It’s very quiet and chill. This was our 3rd time at the property and I’m sure not the last.
