The host was very quick to respond to messages. The place had lawn chairs, beach towels, some snorkeling gear, and sunscreen which was incredibly helpful. The property also offered daily activities such as Yoga, lei making, aqua aerobics and other activities which was nice. I would recommend bringing or plan on buying shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. There was an all-in-one shampoo/conditioner for men.

We had such an amazing time here! The listing was spot on. Such a great location, and you can park right outside the condo which is convenient. Condo was clean , the carpet in living room was stained dirty need to clean it or throw it away. Sliding glass door to deck was hard to open and close , my wife couldn’t close it as it didn’t slide on the runners very well, it needs attention. Unit was very clean, and well stocked, we would rent it again.

The condo was beautiful and clean. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. I was mislead that you could walk down to the beach from the property edge. It’s a retaining wall where the ocean meets the wall. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk south of the property. Still a beautiful place to stay-enjoy every minute of our stay.

Love the location unfortunately the air conditioner in the living room was out. It took three days to fix it, but the property management compensated me so that was really kind bought me lunch so I couldn’t have been more satisfied. It just would’ve been nice not to have a warm room, but what the heck you’re in Hawaii open the windows enjoyable

We had a fantastic 12 days on Maui celebrating our daughter’s graduation. The condo and the amenities were a huge part of that great experience. The place was as advertised and very clean. The views were incredible with a beautiful view of the sunset each evening. Brian was very proactive with communication. We didn’t encounter any issues during our stay, but if we had I’m sure he would have reacted quickly given how great he communicated before we checked in. We would be honored to stay here again!

Advertisement stated recently renovated. Could not see what was renovated. Fridge missing handle, slider to balcony was every hard to open. Slider locked us on balcony once. Fortunately, staff opened on 15 min. Wonderful view and close to ocean. The condo was not up to our expectations

The property grounds were beautiful. The condo was nice, however it does need a more a thorough cleaning. Some of the towels and bedding smelled pretty bad (like they had sat in the washer too long before being dried) so we had to wash them before we could use them. There was sand in one of the beds and the air mattress did not work, definitely needs to be replaced. With these improvements I do think it would be worth staying again. It’s in a good location and there’s places to eat within walking distance.

Leslie property is amazing! The ocean view is stunning, waking up every morning and having my breakfast in the balcony enjoying the view was one of the most relaxing things during the trip! The apartment is super comfortable and spacious, she has all the supplies you might need during your stay and the resort where the apartment is located is awesome. They have activities every day that you can participate and people are super nice and cordial! I will definitely have her property on my list for when I go back to Maui!

Our overall stay was wonderful. The entire property is immaculate. From the beautiful landscaping to the maintenance of the pool areas. The only minor problem we had was with the air conditioning, but the unit manager handled it perfectly and got temporary air conditioners installed and working. We hope to be back in a couple of years as this was the absolute best location. Near many restaurants, grocery stores food trucks. You really wouldn’t even need to rent a car. My family loved our stay at this lovely condo at Papakea Resort. The condo had everything we needed to make life easy on vacation. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make easy dinners at home. They provided everything we needed for beach days without worry. I think we all loved the view from the lanai the most, and could have sat out there all day listening to the ocean and enjoying the views. We loved grilling by the pool, while enjoying the pool and hot tub. The resort was a perfect place for a family vacation!

Overall, the condo is how it is described and looks identical to the pictures. The views are spectacular from this unit and the pool is heated as well as not too busy. We asked for early check in, which they could not accommodate even though no one was in the unit before we stayed there. We also paid for an extra night since we had an 11PM flight Sunday night and did not want to check out at 10 AM with no where to go with our stuff. We therefore paid for Sunday night into Monday. When asked for a possible small discount because of this they said no, since it is a highly sought after unit. Even though no one has it booked for all of May or June currently. If you have small children under 5, the pool is not the most kid friendly. The pool rules are very strict. Bring a pizza cutter if you want pizza and the televisions are very slow and did not work in the bedroom for us. The elevators are not very big, so it was hard for my mother in law in a wheel chair to get downstairs. Consider a downstairs rental if you have a walker or wheelchair. We also requested extra blankets while there as there were not enough. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook/clean. Make sure you don't lose the key cards or it is 150 per card. The A/C works well.

This place was perfect for us! It was exactly as described. Easy to coordinate, park and access. The view absolutely made our trip, as we looked forward to the beginning and end of each day with this view. Turtles, whales, sunsets, seals and lots of birds. The grounds we lovely and we made good use of the BBQs and the shuffleboard. And we loved having a well-stocked kitchen to make our meals. We would definitely return to this place!
