My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo at the Papakea resort. The property grounds are a little dated but the condo itself is newly renovated and clean. Located on the 2nd floor (out of 4), beautiful ocean views from the lanai, very spacious and has everything you need and more, including snorkel gear and binoculars to whale watch. There is no restaurant on site but there are several good places to eat within walking distance (Penny’s for breakfast & desserts, tons of food trucks, Fish Market, shave ice, Times Supermarket, etc.). There’s even a convenient back gate entrance to an ABC store. Parking was easy and the staff, friendly. Host was very responsive and flexible with our check in/out time. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again when we return to Maui.

Loved the text communication. When there was a small maintenance issue, someone came right away, even though it was a holiday week. Some remotes need new batteries, and the straps on the beach chairs are on their last legs, but the location and unit were lovely and perfect for our family trip.

This condo is amazing- book this immediately!!! Plenty of sleeping space, beautiful views, equipped with beach chairs, cooler, grill equipment, full kitchen to cook anything, upgraded bathrooms, very comfortable beds. Very central location which is perfect for exploring the island. We loved the 9 nights we spent in Papakea K404!

Gloria is very responsive and communicates in a timely manner. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. Beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a small cooler made our days at the beach convenient and fun. The view from the lanai is beautiful and the Papakea pools and grounds are well maintained. Cabana spaces and resort activities (putting greens, shuffle boards, lei making, Mai Tai Party) add to the experience. The location of the resort is also ideal. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a food truck park. Quick, easy drive to multiple beaches, Cannery Mall, Whaler’s Village, Napili Farmers Market, and Maalaea Harbor. We hope to visit again!

I have stayed at Papakea multiple times - different units. I like how I can be feet from the ocean, have enough amenities to occupy teens and parents (tennis, putting green, pools, shuffle board, cornhole, etc., a short walk to multiple restaurants and groceries, and centrally located car ride to Kapalua and Kaanapali.

The communication from the host. We enjoyed all the amenities including the hot tub, pool, beach, grill, etc.Will consider to stay in the future again. Only thing I could enjoy more was a AC unit in the bedroom. Gets warm at night and the livingroom AC isn’t enough to keep the bedroom cool

The room was perfect for us and had everything we needed except binoculars. The guests upstairs were noisy and spilled something down from the Lanai but otherwise it was a great room. The pool, hot tub, and grounds were very well kept. Not much of a beach but we enjoyed it anyway. Seeing turtles and whale from our Lanai was wonderful as well.

The sofa is very uncomfortable. The cushions are collapsing when you sit on it. Also a tile is coming up on the floor, maybe look into fixing it. It was a beautiful view from the corner apartment!

Lou and Patty were exceptional hosts and highly recommend choosing their place for your stay on Maui. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the A/C kept all areas comfortable. We spent time each morning and evening on the lanai. Even saw a couple whales swim by. Everything was perfection. Such a fabulous way to spend my birthday. And when we had some travel troubles on the way home, Lou was quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating. Absolutely outstanding rental property! From the host, to amenities, location and child friendly atmosphere I couldn’t have asked for more. The property had plenty of toys/games for all ages, beach toys, chairs, extra towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. We used the patio everyday enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. We used the pools, beach access, putting greens, and grills. We checked in after hours and were still greeted by the night security team. The property is a quick walk to multiple restaurants, coffee spots and the food truck park. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy a Maui vacation.

What an amazing stay! The condo is beautiful, clean, well stocked and sooo welcoming, as was my host! The location is also great - grocery/restaurants/shops/beach all nearby and great walkability. The resort itself is also well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. Access to the beach is so close and amazing- it's like your own private beach, which we really enjoyed the privacy and chill vibes. Black Rock beach is also nearby, which was really nice since we set up a snorkel day and they docked the boat right on that beach. Our host did an impeccable job sending us recommendations and taking care of us all the way until we checked out - I would definitely say this spot is a gem and just perfection. We traveled with my 6 year old and the pull out sofa bed was perfect and so comfortable - he's already asking when we can go back to Papakea. Thank you Barbara for the impeccable service and beautiful stay. We will be back!!

It’s located in the perfect spot, close to all of the major beaches and resorts but far enough away that it’s still quiet and relaxing. Walking distance to great coffee and food.
