Amazing place and with an incredible well stocked kitchen! Closets had plenty of beach chairs and snorkel gear. Check-in was a breeze. They have elevators and carts so that was easy. Pool and outdoor grills were lovely. Grills were always clean and there never was a line. Beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony. Plenty of bed space and there was even an extra blow up in the upstairs closet. To sit on the beach for this property you need to walk next door along the pathway but it’s literally right there. You’re also a two minute walk to the gas station mini mart, three minutes to the cinnamon rolls place and a host of other shops. Highly recommend.

Our stay was AMAZING! The room was clean and was exactly as pictured. It had the most beautiful view. The room had every thing we needed to get started with our stay. The location was ideal with food options and a grocery store within walking distance. We also enjoyed the pool/hot tub area. We will definitely be back! *The resort complex offers a free lei making class on Saturdays, it was wonderful! Definitely worthwhile!

This particular unit had incredible views from the lanai. Whale sightings were frequent and became one of the highlights of our trip. Swimming beaches are accessible by walking, and overall, the complex is in a convenient location. It is well-mantained with spacious pool and hot tub areas. We did experience an issue with the refrigerator during our stay, and although ultimately it could not be corrected while we were there, this was not a reflection of the owner's attempts to address the issue. Communication with Nicole was positive and timely, and she made every effort to offer solutions. In the end, she kindly reimbursed us to compensate for the matter. We would gladly stay again, should we be privileged enough to visit Maui again in the future.

Good 1BR apartment living for 2. About, 12 buildings (A to L) on the grounds (500 units). Kitchen is great. Don’t forget to bring your favorite coffee/tea/sugar, and shampoo, body wash, conditioner. Nice soft bed. Arrive early to find parking, daily. You can access neighboring resorts that have nice beaches (all beaches in Hawaii are public). Washer/dryer in unit was great (thank you).Communication: very prompt.

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo at the Papakea resort. The property grounds are a little dated but the condo itself is newly renovated and clean. Located on the 2nd floor (out of 4), beautiful ocean views from the lanai, very spacious and has everything you need and more, including snorkel gear and binoculars to whale watch. There is no restaurant on site but there are several good places to eat within walking distance (Penny’s for breakfast & desserts, tons of food trucks, Fish Market, shave ice, Times Supermarket, etc.). There’s even a convenient back gate entrance to an ABC store. Parking was easy and the staff, friendly. Host was very responsive and flexible with our check in/out time. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again when we return to Maui.

Gloria is very responsive and communicates in a timely manner. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. Beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a small cooler made our days at the beach convenient and fun. The view from the lanai is beautiful and the Papakea pools and grounds are well maintained. Cabana spaces and resort activities (putting greens, shuffle boards, lei making, Mai Tai Party) add to the experience. The location of the resort is also ideal. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a food truck park. Quick, easy drive to multiple beaches, Cannery Mall, Whaler’s Village, Napili Farmers Market, and Maalaea Harbor. We hope to visit again!

I like how I can be feet from the ocean, have enough amenities to occupy teens and parents (tennis, putting green, pools, shuffle board, cornhole, etc., a short walk to multiple restaurants and groceries, and centrally located car ride to Kapalua and Kaanapali.
