The room was perfect for us and had everything we needed except binoculars. The guests upstairs were noisy and spilled something down from the Lanai but otherwise it was a great room. The pool, hot tub, and grounds were very well kept. Not much of a beach but we enjoyed it anyway. Seeing turtles and whale from our Lanai was wonderful as well.

The sofa is very uncomfortable. The cushions are collapsing when you sit on it. Also a tile is coming up on the floor, maybe look into fixing it. It was a beautiful view from the corner apartment!

Lou and Patty were exceptional hosts and highly recommend choosing their place for your stay on Maui. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the A/C kept all areas comfortable. We spent time each morning and evening on the lanai. Even saw a couple whales swim by. Everything was perfection. Such a fabulous way to spend my birthday. And when we had some travel troubles on the way home, Lou was quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating. I cannot thank Lou and Patty enough!

Absolutely outstanding rental property! From the host, to amenities, location and child friendly atmosphere I couldn’t have asked for more. The property had plenty of toys/games for all ages, beach toys, chairs, extra towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. We used the patio everyday enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. We used the pools, beach access, putting greens, and grills. We checked in after hours and were still greeted by the night security team. The property is a quick walk to multiple restaurants, coffee spots and the food truck park. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy a Maui vacation.

What an amazing stay! The condo is beautiful, clean, well stocked and sooo welcoming, as was my host! The location is also great - grocery/restaurants/shops/beach all nearby and great walkability. The resort itself is also well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. Access to the beach is so close and amazing- it's like your own private beach, which we really enjoyed the privacy and chill vibes. Black Rock beach is also nearby, which was really nice since we set up a snorkel day and they docked the boat right on that beach. Our host did an impeccable job sending us recommendations and taking care of us all the way until we checked out - I would definitely say this spot is a gem and just perfection. We traveled with my 6 year old and the pull out sofa bed was perfect and so comfortable - he's already asking when we can go back to Papakea. Thank you Barbara for the impeccable service and beautiful stay. We will be back!!

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The view was amazing, overlooking the pool and the ocean. The resort was well kept and very friendly. It’s located in the perfect spot, close to all of the major beaches and resorts but far enough away that it’s still quiet and relaxing. Walking distance to great coffee and food.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lou’s VRBO. We spent lots of time just relaxing on the lanai. Daily views of sunsets, turtles, and whales was amazing! We used one of the grills in the pool area several nights and it worked out great! Pool and hot tub were nice. You do have to walk a little way down the beach to get to a swimming area, but we didn’t mind. Overall we found the location to be great as we explored the entire island. We would stay there again!

Right from the start, our host Rachelle was incredibly informative and helpful, providing information that proved invaluable for our stay. The complex is absolutely stunning and just minutes from some of the island’s most beautiful beaches.We could literally watch turtles swimming in the sea right from the window, and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night. The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything we needed, and we loved that there were outdoor BBQs available (spotlessly clean, just like the rest of the property).The beds were extremely comfortable, the apartment was spotless, and honestly we felt completely at home. Amazing place with all the amenities! Boogie boards, snorkels, goggles, lawn chairs, coolers, sand toys, floaties, and more! We especially loved the Queen sized sofa bed and king sized master bed. Gorgeous views but this unit is the furthest from the ocean and pool (though closest to the parking lot for ease of emptying luggage and groceries). We loved seeing the koi pond and fountains out our door everyday, though. The kitchen had everything we could think of needing, even a blender and air fryer! Garbage bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, and toilet paper were all there for us and we replenished when needed. Papi’s Ohana nearby had amazing cinnamon buns. Times Supermarket across the street was great and so was the ABC store. Pool was amazing at 30 degrees Celsius and the hot tub was wonderful in the evening. We made good use of the pool and the beach to the south. We saw whales, dolphins, and a sea turtle! We played shuffleboard, ladderball, pickleball, and cornhole. The BBQ’s by the pool were great but far from our unit. Staff was amazing! Make sure to snorkel at Kapalua beach, see the Nakalele Blowhole, and visit the Maui Ocean Centre. The 3-D show there was incredible!Thanks to Jayne and Warren for sharing their amazing condo with us!

I loved the location. You can walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, grocery store and the ABC store is next door. My kids loved the pool and daily activities at the resort. I definitely will stay again. I updated the owner about some furniture that needed replacing and cleaning which she was very receptive and wanted to fix right away. Great view and easy location to everything.

Carol and Mike — and their beautiful home in Maui — were absolutely amazing! Carol was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. The home was in an excellent location, in great condition, and fit our large family perfectly. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook any type of meal, and the view from the balcony was truly breathtaking. Water view was spectacular. Spent a lot of time on lanai just looking at the waves and listening to the ocean. Location was very convenient. Kitchen was well stocked. Was exactly as advertised.
