This condo was exactly as advertised. It is well appointed and stocked with almost everything you need. The kitchen had ample supplies for cooking and a dishwasher. The layout is unique regarding the bathroom. It’s really cool. The condo has no AC and I thought that was gonna be an issue. It was NOT an issue at all. There is a wonderful breeze flowing through the condo at all times. No need for AC. All of that was nice, but the view is the best feature. It was FANTASTIC!! Watching the sunset every PM was wonderful.

All dishes, cooking equipment and small appliances were dusty and musty. The place smelled so musty when we got there that we had to burn candles to burn out the smell. The batteries in the tv remote control were burned out and we had to go purchase new batteries for the one night we stayed in to rest and watch tv. And on the tv was only sports and news. Nothing enjoyable to relax with.

This condo was better than the pictures shown! It was clean and fresh. It had a relaxing lawn area in front of the lanai facing the pool with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was situated where it was easy to drive to the beach, shopping or walk to get coffee snacks etc. I definitely recommend staying here and will also stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay in this unit, and it was perfect in every way. The ocean view is beautiful, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, quiet and relaxing. Communication with the host was outstanding. As mentioned in previous posts, there is no AC, but had the cross breeze along with ceiling fan to keep us cool. Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I spent 1 week in Dave's condo and truly enjoyed our time there. The views are truly beautiful and the location is great! It is close to everything needed - beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. The condo is stocked with everything needed from a variety of seasonings and great coffee maker in the kitchen to all you need to enjoy the beach including beach chairs, sun umbrella, snorkeling equipment, and cooler. There is a grill available for the times you would like to stay in for dinner. We loved our evenings on the balcony with the gorgeous sunsets and the peaceful atmosphere.We would 100% consider coming back.

The property itself is very nice, super clean, and very, very quiet. The pool area is nice also, most of the time I had the pool to myself. The condo is very clean, and comfortable. The bed is comfy and although I didn't cook, the kitchen had everything you would need to do so. I only have one small critique, I wish there would have wine glasses, felt weird drinking wine out of a water glass. But I survived!!

The location and views of this condo are wonderful. The place is clean and there is very easy access to the ocean (not beach access location, but beautiful sunset views). Walking distance to a public beach, food, drinks, and fun! Be advised there is NOT any air conditioning in this unit so the two fans are all ya got. Opening the doors and windows help, but yeah. The complex residents are great and there often a shelf full of non perishable goods that other tenants or rentals have left for those traveling. Overall a great place to stay.

It is a cute place and has a lot of potential. But, the carpet in the bedroom was filthy and the vacuum wouldn't pick up anything. The manager sent someone to vacuum while we were gone but it was not any better. The microwave didn't work. She ordered a new one, but it didn't arrive during our 9 day stay. The coffee pot wouldn't stay on. Other than those issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect! This studio suited us to a tee. Great bed, clean, absolutely wonderful shower, all the supplies we would have needed to enjoy the stay were all there (except maybe a set of dominos, which we forgot. We enjoyed the great views from the lanai and watching the turtles come in every evening to feed on the reef. David, the host kept us informed before and during our trip to anything that could affect us, like major traffic slowdowns excepcted or maintenence at the complex. Thank you! We stayed two weeks in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. First trip to Hawaii. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Beautiful views right out your window! Hear the waves and palm tree leaves from inside the room! Close parking. Close walking boardwalk. Close food, coffee, groceries. No condo is closer to the water than this one. We enjoyed our best trip to Maui yet, and that was largely in part due to Steve's wonderful condo. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for delicious dinners, which were enjoyed on the lanai, that has a breathtaking view. We got lots of us of the beach chairs and umbrella during our many beach days. Steve was extra communicative before and during our visit and offered lots of great suggestions for hikes and places to eat (fyi...get the cinnamon roll ). We 100% will stay at Steve's condo in the future.

During our stay the elevator next to us was being renovated. In addition a close by condo was being remodeled. We had constant jack hammering and garbage carts loaded with carpeting and furniture being wheeled right outside our window. We could not hear ourselves speak.This was every day except for the weekend. Management did offer to relocate us to an eighth floor condo a few miles away but due to mobility issues this was not feasible.

We carefully searched for weeks for the best condo for our needs. The pictures of 109 Hono Loa were beautiful and the corner oceanfront view a major plus. We had a seamless arrival and used the key pad for entry. The condo was absolutely perfect in every way for us. Yes, it gets afternoon sun and can be warm. There are many fans to help keep the air flowing and we were always able to cool down with that. Eating outside on a spring evening can be warm but again with fans, it’s tolerable. We slept comfortably each night and the ocean can be heard with open windows. The condo wasn’t super stocked with condiments etc but it didn’t stop us from cooking at the condo and enjoying all amenities it had to offer.Sunrise and sunset from the condo were perfect and we had whales and turtles within plain sight every day. Theres an ABC store, coffee shop, snorkel and supply rental and Maui fish market within walking distance as well as a small beach and playground for the kiddos. Just up the road was captain jacks for a happy hour snack or any meal out. We highly recommend the location and can’t wait to go back!
