This was a great property. Very well kept. It was nice and quiet, right by the ocean, and you could hear the surf at night. The only small issue was with the number of towels we were provided. Given the amount of time you spend outside and need to shower sometimes twice a day, it would been nice to have one or two more bath towels. Other than the very minor thing it was fabulous.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The unit is beautifully designed, tastefully equipped, and offers breathtaking views. However, there is a major issue regarding privacy. The listing emphasizes “privacy” multiple times, but this is misleading. Throughout the day, other residents were walking through what we initially believed was our private space. When I contacted Perfect Stays, they clarified that the grassy area is shared among all residents.This lack of privacy is particularly problematic given the unit’s floor-to-ceiling glass walls, which are stunning for the view but leave you feeling exposed unless you keep the blinds closed. If you’re not bothered by strangers nearby, this may not be an issue, but for private individuals like us, it was disappointing and would have influenced our decision to book.Additionally, the unit accommodates six people but only provides two sun loungers, which felt insufficient. The mattresses were also too soft for our liking, though this may come down to personal preference.If true privacy is a priority, I recommend booking a standalone house rather than this type of rental. While the unit has many positives, clearer communication in the listing about shared outdoor spaces would have set better expectations.

The view was lovely. The online photos were not representative of our unit - the furniture was different & the unit was much smaller than it looked in the photos. The surrounding area looked a bit sketchy, but we had no problems. The pool & BBQ area was nice & we enjoyed sitting on the lanai very much.We appreciated the pool/diving gear & beach chairs. Will probably go back to a hotel next time for maid service/fresh towels. The property met our needs and the sunset view was stunning.

Weneki’s Island Paradise was fantastic!! Wendy, the host, was very accessible, communicative and super easy to work with! The studio was just perfect for my husband and I to stay while celebrating our anniversary! It was a great home base to start and end our days which will filled with exploring the island. It was very easy to get around from the location. We didn’t spend much time at the condo but the time we did spend there was very nice! We had friendly neighbors, nice deck with gorgeous views of the ocean, two neighboring islands and many rainbows! We were even able to see a sea turtle one day! We loved it there and would definitely visit again!

This place has an absolutely beautiful view and wonderful ammenities. The sunsets were gogeous and the whale watching was great! The place is very clean and quiet (except for traffic noise on the bedroom side). The neighborhood is very walkable (we walked a lot). There are wonderful eating places and grocery stores within 1/2-3/4 of a mile. We walked to Dukes for Supper one evening - it was about 1.2 miles away. It's an easy drive to the North Shore or to the beaches just south. We ended our trip to Maui here and loved this place. Check in and check out were easy! David was really easy to communicate with and responded quickly when I messaged him. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

My wife was the artist in residence at the Sheraton on New Year's Eve, so rather than drive all the way back to Haiku that night we decided to spend the night and make it a mini staycation. The condo was great with great views of the ocean. Steve (the owner) had excellent communication with us. We would happily stay there again.

We are not sun bathers and the property has a beautiful pool and lots of amenities including a viewing deck and grills. Centrally located to walking trails up the road and beach state parks in both directions.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time. The unit is perfect for two people and the kitchen cupboards have everything a cook needs. The grounds are kept neat and clean. The pool is nice and there are two grills. The lanai faces west; beautiful colors at sunset. The deck off the pool is a great place to take in ocean views and boats that go by.
Wendy went out of her way To help us set the TV up. And finally,, wonderful location for golfers. I would recommend this rental property.

The apartment was more like a huge studio with the master bedroom closed off by a sliding door. the location of the unit lets you hear the ocean from all sides. The views are incredible, the location is quiet (except for the sound of crashing waves), nearby beaches were great. The condo is well equipped with beach gear, and the kitchen very well outfitted. Steve was extremely responsive and had great recommendations. Only suggestion I have is that if someone in your group is planning to use the pull-out sofa bed, make sure you confirm there will be sheets for it when you check in. We had to have some delivered but again, Steve was on top of it and it was quickly resolved. Definitely would stay again.

We only scheduled four days in Maui and we regret not spending more time. Part of the reason are the many areas to visit on the island, but also because of this excellent condo.
The property was clean and located close to many beaches and activities. The views at sunset were amazing from the lanai and the tradewinds made the nights very comfortable and relaxing.
The property has many displaced Lahania residents living on property as well. This was great as we learned so much about the before, during and after of the devastating fire. Great conversation and excellent suggestoins on where to go for local food and how to avoid overcrowded tourist spots. Best part was a local resident who blew a conch shell each night at sunset and spoke an Hawaiian prayer. A cool experience.
Highly recommend this condo for rental. The description and pictures are very accurate and the communication with Steve has been the best I've experienced in renting condos through VRBO.

Our condo was definitely ocean front. It is centrally located to some very good restaurants. The Sea House, (our favorite), Dollies Pub and Cafe, and The Gazebo are all within a very short drive away. The condo worked out very well for our group of 3 women. It was very clean upon our arrival. Beds were very comfortable. Having window ac in the bedrooms was a blessing. We all slept very comfortable at night. Laundry rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Very clean and well maintained. 3rd floor has several washer and dryers. Quarters or credit card can be used, $1.75 for each. Worked for us.Lonnie is excellent to work with. This is our 2nd time renting through her management properties and I will rent from her again.Mahalo for a great stay Lonnie

There is no overstating or exaggeration of the facts, this condo checks all the boxes and then some! Everyday of our 10 day stay was a pinch me moment. If you are looking for clubs, bars, nightlife this is NOT the place for you! This condo is a little piece of paradise. Here you will find quiet, solitude, peace and tranquility. Well kept, clean, and equipped with all you would need for a dream vacation. BBQs on the property for your use or cook in the well-appointed kitchen. Need some rest? Sleep like a baby in the ultra-comfy king size bed. No air con, just cool natural island breezes and multiple fans to keep you cool. Tremendous balcony views of the ocean, sunsets, and coconut palms swaying in the breeze. There are walkable strip malls with groceries, takeout, a fresh fish shop, and multiple food trucks after 5pm. The roads are very drive able and in excellent condition. There is reliable bus service on the hour. The owners simply want you to enjoy your stay and will go out of their way to make that happen for you. The room was very clean and pleasant for a two-week stay. The elevator was supposed to be shut down for maintenance during our stay, but thankfully that was delayed for a later time. I could not imagine humping heavy suitcases and groceries up the three flights of steep stairs. Luggage carts are available, but they would be useless without an elevator. There was an issue with the sliding screen door sticking to the point it was frozen and would not move. We were able to get it closed, but it was a major job to go in and out without wrestling with it. Steve (owner) sent someone to take a look at it, but he was unable to fix it. Apparently Steve has arranged for its repair at some point in the future. The complex is old but well-maintained and pleasant. There are no umbrellas (probably because of the wind), so we didn't spend any time around the pool. Snorkeling sounds like a fun activity, but find a more suitable sandy beach for your watersports. We attempted swimming/snorkeling at the foot of the stairs below the property, but it was a big mistake. The surf is pretty heavy and the waves will throw you all over the reefs. I would have attached a picture of the injuries to my arm and knee, but it's pretty disgusting. The lesson is, at my age it's probably time to hang up the snorkel gear. Overall it was a really good stay. The absence of air conditioning was not really a problem because of the nice breeze and ocean exposure. We would stay here again.

This may have been our favorite trip to Hawaii. We have been to just about all the tourist islands and our stay at the Maui Rose was 10/10. Location was great, close to tons of restaurants! Close to some incredible beaches. Not too close to the big high rises in Kaanapali, but close enough to have a short drive to dinner. The owner David was super communicative and very prompt in his responses. He was very, very accommodating and helped us out a ton. We had a clogged drain during our stay due to construction happening next door, and he had a plumber out to us right away. He was very caring to make sure it didn’t interrupt our vacation plans. The full kitchen was very equipped with everything you could need. The bed was extremely comfortable and although there is no AC, it remained cool from the ocean breezes with the lanai door open and the fans going. I actually think I acclimated better to the heat and humidity because we weren’t in an AC environment. The view off of the lanai is to die for. There is a couch, table and chairs, with mood lighting and candles supplied if you want to use them. Everything was very clean and well maintained. He also has all the snorkel gear/ towels/ cooler / umbrellas and beach chairs you will need to make your adventures perfect. Even down to a car windshield sun-shade. If you are considering booking here, I would definitely recommend it highly.

This property is even better than advertised! Wake up with a view of the ocean from the king bed, watch the sunset from the lanai or from one of the complex viewing decks. Plenty of sea life to see right from the viewing deck-up to four turtles swimming right up to the wall. The complex was so quiet and pleasant so that you can actually relax. The other condo owners that I met were lovely to me. The condo itself was impeccably clean, well organized, and stocked with everything I could possibly need. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is such a cute condo in a great location. This is our 2nd stay at this property. Each time we have met very friendly owners and guests in the complex. The grounds are very well-maintained, the laundry facilities are very clean and efficient and the manager is onsite if any issues arise. The location of this unit has the best views and gets a nice cross breeze to keep the room cool. We look forward to staying here again and again!
