We had an awesome time with close friends. There were a total of nine of us. The condo was decorated beautifully. You could tell that great attention was paid to the details. Check in and out was easy. Beautiful view of the sunset each evening.

Great property and location! This condo was perfect for our two families. It had everything we needed and we can't say enough about the view! It was so nice sitting out in the balcony overlooking the ocean and the palm trees. Check in/out process was super easy. Definitely recommend!

I can't say it enough, it was fantastic. We celebrated our 25th anniversary with our 5 children (ages 16-23), our sons significant other, my brother, sister in law and niece.
Everything about this condo was spot on. We had 11 people ranging from 16-53 and there was more than enough room. A great view, great amenities and the host was quick to answer and fix the one problem we had with a blow up air mattress.
The property was well maintained as were the grounds and pool.

We had a total of 11 in our group. Ages ranged from 9-80. The place fit like a glove. We had plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked a few meals inside and several at the pool side grill. The two pools are a very short walk. The beach is closer than it looks in the picture.

Papakea is a great place to chill and unwind. It is walkable to nice resorts bars and restaurants. The grounds are nice, the staff is attentive and it seems well taken care of. We went in March and could pull up a chair and watch humpbacks breaching a short way off the shoreline. It does not have a great beach but nice ones are very close and the pools are next to the ocean. The only way it would be better is if it would convert one of the two beach huts into a small place where you could get a snack or beverage

This was a great location for our family Christmas. We had plenty of room to gather for group meals and the location was lovely. The remodeled areas of the condo were very nice and the grounds at Papakea were well-kept. The owner was easy to communicate with and the staff at Papakea was friendly and helpful. We had only two minor complaints about the condo. First the bathrooms have only been partially renovated which means the shower areas are not in terrific shape. In addition the stairs to the loft are very steep so you would not want small children or older adults using that area. Otherwise, G403 was just what we were looking for!

The layout of the condo was superb to accommodate two families. Bedrooms & bathrooms were the perfect size, the kitchen an absolute dream to prepare great meals after a big day exploring Maui. The view! What a view. Highly recommend.

I stayed with my family. The place was easy to check in and all the amenities were accurately described. The location was perfect. The property was very clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was good. Kitchen was clean. The host communicated very quickly. I would recommend this place if you prefer some space and a place to feel like home.

My family loved staying here. The owner had excellent communication with me. My kids loved going to the pool. We barbequed steaks one night. The resort is about 19 minutes from Front St. where many restaurants are.
There are also food trucks within walking distance of the restort. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

The property is beautiful. This was my second time staying at Papakea, we like that it is smaller than the resorts down the street. Pool, BBq's and community areas are very well kept. Perfect sunset view from our lanai or from the grass areas along the ocean front. Condo had everything you needed. Plenty of beach towels. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Washer and dryer were great to have in the unit and worked well. We would stay in this unit again. If you wanted to swim, sit in the jacuzzi, put around the little golf course or play shuffle board you could do so just outside of your building. We arrived a little early and the front desk held everything until we could get into the unit so we were able to start our vacation as soon as we got there.

This condo is exactly as described. It’s in a perfect location, views from the balcony are spectacular, and our family of 10 had plenty of room and was very comfortable. I can’t think of a single negative thing regarding our stay in this condo. The check in was simple and the host was quick to respond to my questions prior to our arrival. We definitely recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again.

Was very impressed with the property.Everything was great!! If I had to a negative thing, it would be more comfy seating instead of table and chairs. We had 7 in our party, and everybody wanted to sit on couch or recliner. But we had a great time. It was for my 60th birthday that was postponed. Would highly recommend!!!!!

This place was absolutlely amazing! Great layout for our party of 10 (2 families) as both sets of parents had a private bedroom and the 6 kids could sleep in the loft. Incredible views of the resort and ocean. Great amenities including shuffleboard, swimming, putting green, tennis, pickleball. Great location with walking distance to ABC Store, grocery market, food trucks, restaurants. Seriously we had so much fun! Can't wait to get back here.

Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable. The condo had so many things we needed to enjoy outdoor recreation. We had 9 adults and never felt crowded. We cooked breakfast every morning and used the BBQ most nights. The complex was always clean and there was staff every where you looked smiling and willing to help. The owner has compiled a binder with the most helpful information, from what was available in the condo and how to use everything to what beaches are good for each activity and where to eat and shop. This binder made us feel like we had been to Maui multiple times and it was our first trip to this Island. We will definitely plan on staying here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in late September with 6 adults, 2 Teenagers and a 7 year old. Fun for all ages! Love that the condo provided snorkel equipment, beach towels, beach chairs, some condiments and seasonings, washer/dryer and a binder full of tips (places, to visit, eat, swim etc). Great stay at Papakea!

Everything you can possibly need is in this house! Plenty of space, ocean, pool grill and super chill vibe here. Stairs up to the loft are pretty steep- the grandparents could not scale them but thankfully the sofa bed and a twin air mattress saved us. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time! It was a total of 11 of us including an infant and a teenager. It was nice having a playpen where the infant could sleep in and all the beach equipment were great as well. The resort was really nice we used the pool everyday. We didn’t have no issues with the resort employees, we were unaware that we couldn’t be on the balcony passed 10pm. But other than that we had a great time. Beach access is easy, but there is a nicer beach maybe 5 minutes north. It was a good place for snorkeling and we saw a few turtles.

This property was beautiful and spacious! It fit our entire group perfectly. The only downside was that the showers wouldn’t drain properly/quickly - probably from all of the sand. Other than that it was wonderful!

This property was very functional for our stay, and it was clean and tidy. There is a washer and dryer, so we were able to come home with our clothes already cleaned making it very nice and easy to unpack when we got home. The only negative comment I can say about the comment is that the air conditioner for the upstairs loft and main room does not seem to have the capacity to cool the entire area. My husband went up to loft and pointed the remote directly at the unit, and that seemed to help a bit, but it still was never very cool up there (especially for sleeping).
This is not the fault of the resort, and I found it to be an issue all over Maui, but you should be aware. There are not a lot of good food options nearby. The food trucks that are a short distance away are quite expensive for what you get, and the food was okay at best. Plan ahead and buy groceries for the nights you don’t intend on going out for dinner, otherwise you may scramble to find decent food. The same is true no matter where you are on Maui.
That brings me to my next point: Make reservations before you get to Maui. The restaurants are crowded and often accept reservations about 30 days in advance. Don’t go to Maui and assume you will just find somewhere to eat every night. They will be booked up.

This was truly paradise we had two families travel. There were two couples, 4 teens and a 6 year old. This condo fit us all comfortably. Everything was clean and the extras were totally appreciated ( boogie boards, beach towels, golf putters). The view from the condo was perfect!! We could watch the sunset or peak on the kids playing!!
We loved everything about our stay and hope to return to this condo . The host Rodney was accommodating and flexible!!

We had a rough start on this vacation. After traveling all day and herding children and elderly parents around, we just wanted to get settled at the condo but…when we entered it felt like walking into someone’s home, and not in a good way. It hadn’t been cleaned at all! We got a hold of the owner and he was super apologetic and got a cleaning crew in after an hour or so. He offered to buy our dinner that night, but I feel like we should have been reimbursed for the hours we couldn’t get in.
The condo was great after that…until the last day. Our check out time was supposed to be 10:30. At 10:00 the cleaning crew showed up and said they had a lot of places to clean that day, but “no worries, take your time”…then they started cleaning around us and made us feel rushed. My father-in-law ended up forgetting his earbuds in the hustle. Where was the cleaning crew on the first day?!!

There are just too many things to say with how pleased we were with our stay here. The condo unit is beautiful. I appreciated every thought and little detail put into it. From having a washer/dryer, snorkel gear, beach towels and chairs, laundry and dishwasher detergent, blue tooth Bose speaker and more. It all made for a wonderful experience. We plan to make a tradition bringing our kids here. The only thing I would add would be a beach bag and perhaps some stocked bottled water for those with super late flights. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us :)
