This is in a great location easy access to everything! Appreciated being able to get a ride down to the cabana. The property is very quite. It could use some updates felt it was surface cleaned and not cleaned. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this resort several times, but this is our first stay in this unit. From the time we booked, communication with Jenny was fabulous. She provided all the information we needed for our stay, answered questions promptly, checked in when we arrived to make sure everything met our expectations. Most impressive is that her warmth and genuine care shone through her correspondence.Now on to the unit itself. The location is perfect, quiet and even though it is a ground floor unit, private. It is very nicely and comfortably furnished. The mattress and pillows were heavenly! The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dish ware, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. We spent time at the cabana every day, enjoyed sunsets every night, and took advantage of the bbqs at pool.Thanks Jenny for sharing your lovely home. We will be back!

I have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and I need to put this condo at the top of the list for the reasons as I will mention below. 1 - Customer service. This matters in this industry and Jill who I communicated with before and during the trip was sensational. Very cooperative and always a quick response with a reply that answered my barrage of questions. Thanks again Jill!2 - Condo Quality. The unit itself was beautiful with high end furnishings throughout. There was nothing lacking as it was exactly as we would have designed it if it was our private home. Every item was top-notch.3 - Location. The complex sits just on the other side of Black Rock which is where every hotel chain sits. This is perfect as it gives the beach a much quieter feel to it yet you can easily get to any of the tourist places within a 10-15 minute walk. We used the free Ka'anappali trolley that would drop us off at the Whaler shops for shopping and dining almost daily. This stops in front of the complex twice an hour. Also there is a private cabana which provides beach chairs and towels. Its about a 10 minute walk or use the free golf cart transport.All in all it was a great trip and we were very happy we chose this rental. I highly recommend both the unit and the customer service provided by the rental team. This comes from someone who does not leave many reviews but this one deserves positive feedback compared to some of the recent duds I've had at other locations this summer.

Perfect location and great updated unit with wonderful view of the ocean! The Maui Eldorado is situated at a great spot along Kaanapali beach with close access to Black Rock for snorkeling and only a short walk to Whalers Village. I love running on the beachwalk which extends for several miles along this amazing stretch of beach. The unit has recently upgraded cabinetry and appliances in the kitchen and bathroom. The convenience of being able to get chairs/towels at the beach cabana or using the chairs/towels from the unit at other beaches was greatly appreciated. Ive already booked the same unit again for next year.

We had a wonderful stay. The location near the beach, golf course and shopping were perfect. The kitchen had everything you'd need to get you started and a few things other guests had left were useful. The lower rating on cleanliness was only because two of the coffee cups in the cupboard needed to be cleaned, so those went immediately into the dishwasher; and my feet were dirty from the floor after walking barefooted. We left our shoes just inside the door always, so the floors needed to be wiped down. Nothing major. We'd stay there again.

Fantastic location with a nice, quiet beach. So nice to be able to get towels and beach chairs from the cabana. Saw a sea turtle and watched spinner dolphins do their thing right from our spot on the beach. Condo was nice, with cold filtered water available. The bed was pretty firm, so heads up if you’re used to a pillow top! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay though, and we totally want to come back to Maui Eldorado!

Great location by the best beach, restaurants, and shopping. We used the gym a few times which had everything you would need. The room is older but was just as pictured and worked perfect for our stay. Bar soap and conditioning shampoo were provided but if you have anyone with long hair grab some conditioner when you make your grocery stop. There was a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. We saw turtles every day at the beach and also two spotted eagle rays when we were snorkeling. The cabana was very convenient with the use of beach chairs, towels, and a clean bathroom.

Condo was clean and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, shampoo/conditioner. Comfy beds and pillows. Huge benefit of being able to call for a golf cart to get to the beach/cabana because otherwise you either have to cut across the golf course (frowned upon) or take a pretty long, hilly walk to/from there. Cabana is pretty bare-bones, but nice to have towels and bathrooms and the ability to get out of the sun for a bit. Pools were beautiful, great outdoor games areas at the big pool. Could use some lights for nighttime swims.It was described as a 1-bedroom, however this isn't accurate - the living spaces side was divided from the area with the beds by an accordion curtain. We have little kids who nap and go to bed early, so once they were sleeping we still had to be quite with lights low in the living room. The shower had too much pressure- it felt like getting pressure washed after a few minutes!

This was a beautiful place to stay on Maui. It was absolutely perfect for us. It was walking distance, (a good but very doable walk, which was just fine with me) to the beautiful cabana with chairs, towels, a fridge, dishes, and a beautiful beach. The stated extra fee allowed for all of these things to be included along with a golf cart ride to and from the beach cabana during the specified hours. We could also walk through the Sheraton to the world famous and beautiful Kaanapali Beach. I loved that there were 2 nice clean double beds and big open spaces, along with a privacy wall that allowed us to open or close the view to the living room. The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean, and the sink and mirror were also spacious and seperate from the shower and toilet, laundry. There were plenty of towels, dishes, and a closet full of beach items, along with extras like Saran Wrap, paper towels, etc. The refrigerator and electric stove/oven came in very handy. I even baked bread daily for our sandwiches. When we arrived it was after hours, so a quick call on the phone brought a person up to the parking lot, who loaded us and all of our belongings in a large golf cart, and we were driven directly to our room. This was very nice. The main pool and hot tub were great, and there were two more smaller pools as well. The double patio doors were nice with a partial ocean view in the distance. Parking was available with a short walk to the room. Will stay again. We love Maui.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The best vacation I have ever had. I will be back and stay at the Maui El Dorado. I was relaxed and everything was conveniently located. We had an amazing stay! The beach was so close we walked there every morning and snorkled, saw turtles, spotted eagle rays, tons of different fishes. Our place was clean, beach chairs and snorkel gear on site. The bed was comfy, we'd just sink into after all our daily activities.

The pictures of this property on VRBO are either very old or the whole place was staged and professionally photographed. The location is great and the front desk people are super friendly, but the unit is very dated and not very clean (even the walls and the buttons on the AC have grime on them). The bathroom showers/tubs are so old that I wasn’t clear if they were just stained permanently or simply dirty. Even the popcorn ceiling near the AC vent had blackened. The furniture is old and some of it broken (only 4/6 drawers could be used in the primary). On day 1 we were greeted by a roach on the bathroom counter and a full page of rules to follow to keep them at bay - BUT we had just arrived, so our food was not the problem. We were counseled to keep our food in sealed bags but weren’t given any…and on the last day they must’ve sprayed nearby since there were baby ones in the 2nd bathroom and a dead one on the kitchen counter (despite putting everything in the refrigerator and following all the “pest control” directions). The only good news is that it’s Maui and we didn’t stay in much!

This place is a rare find for a family, since most places only have a queen sized bed in each room. The bunk room was perfect for our 3 teens. It has everything we needed, and was walking distance to the beaches and shopping at Whaler's Village. There are pools and BBQ grills, which we also made use of. We cooked most of our own meals, and the house has all the things you need for that. The view from the lanai is fantastic for sunset. We had a little trouble with the A/C turning off, but we eventually figured that out. We were very happy with our stay here!

Huge space is great for young families. Brought our 3 year old and baby here, the rooms and living space are large, and a full kitchen for prepping your own meals. Nearby coffee shop was excellent, and the unobstructed view of golf course and ocean are great. Only thing we noted were a few cockroaches during our stay, and the occasional gecko, but that might be commonplace on the island. Plenty of towels for all your needs, pool or beach. Highly recommended for those who want to stretch out and relax without paying hotel prices.

I had a fantastic time staying at the Maui Eldorado, unit G203 :) The view is so gorgeous and the property peaceful. The cabana by the ocean with soft white sand, the full kitchen, and towels is a great reprieve from the hot sun :) It was fun venturing over to Black Rock and everything Whaler’s Village has to offer!! Awesome to stay in a condo that was in the perfect location… 15 min drive to Honolua Bay, 10 min drive to Kapalua Bay and Napili Bay, and only a 10 min walk to Black Rock and the beach walk!!

Awesome unit! It was perfect for our family of 5 - large bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a HUGE lanai with expansive, private views. The location was perfect, you can walk to restaurants and shops, but escape the crowds at this unit. Also, this unit is just North of Black Rock - the best side! The water is so much calmer and not nearly as busy. This was the most well stocked unit we have ever stayed at, they had everything we needed (and good quality kitchenware!) Would definitely book this place again!

I stayed at Gilbert’s Maui Eldorado condo in Kaanapali and the experience was fantastic. From the start, Gilbert communicated everything clearly. Check-in and checkout were smooth and hassle-free.The condo itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property features three pools, a recreation area with cabanas, outdoor games, and gas grills perfect for relaxing or spending time with family and friends. There’s a convenient shuttle that takes you to the beach if you’re not up for the walk which was also a nice touch. The location is ideal being close to Whalers Village, great beaches and the exclusive Eldorado cabana right on the sand. The front desk team at the Maui Eldorado were friendly and professional. The condo was clean, and the beds were comfortable. No issues with noise from neighbors or near-by pool. Be aware there is NO communication with any rep from Maui Kaanapali Vacation Rentals after paying for your stay on-line. Upon arrival, we received no email, phone call or text when our room was ready. The refrigerator water filter was expired and alarmed at each use. A defective light bulb in the bathroom only "strobed" preventing use of the mirror. Minimal outlets to charge phones, blow dryers, etc. and not all were functional. As we had no contact information for the rental agency, reporting any issues was impossible. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Overall, we had a wonderful time in Maui and the condo contributed to it! We were looking for a good value place in an excellent location and this place delivered. We greatly enjoyed some of the things the host provided, like beach chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach toys, etc. The amenities the resort provided were fun: themed pools, bbqs, bocce ball, shuffle board, the tram to the Whaler's Village and tha amazing beach cabana. There were a few quirks with the condo that we could overlook, but may be good to be aware of. The primary bedroom doors were quite "sticky" and shook the whole room when opened. There was a musty smell when we entered and significant bubbling on the ceiling of the bathroom, but the smell cleared when we opened the windows and ran the fans. The shower also emitted a high pitch squeal whenever it was run. The kitchen was not super well-stocked and many of the knives were rusty. The faucet had to be in a specific position in order not to leak. With young kids, it still felt like a steal! We walked to Duke's and Maui Fruit Ninja, snorkled on the closest beach and saw all kinds of fish and even a sea turtle and greatly enjoyed lounging on the lanai in the evening. The bunk beds were amazing for our young family to all be able to stay together and it was totally essential to have laundry in the unit! The host was very communicative and even gave us local suggestions!

A wonderful property with a beautiful view. Three full bedrooms fit our family well however fan in third bedroom needs more power to cool the room. The beach was walkable as well as Whalers Village. Parking was easy and the condo had all the essentials that one needs to cook their own meals. Highly recommend!
