Unfortunately, I was not able to say at this property as I was due to arrive the day of the wildfires. Curtis and Julie were quick to communicate with me and issue a refund, despite the chaotic and devastating circumstances on the island. I'm looking forward to staying at this property as soon as Maui is healthy enough to host me.

Great location, just a short walk to the beach through a beautiful and perfectly maintained area. Restaurants and shopping are in walkable distance if you're up for an evening stroll. The beach has surprisingly few people compared to other beaches in all West Maui yet it's beautiful and a great place to swim and relax in a gazebo.
Very nice complex, well maintained and beautiful. The condo itself is super clean and comfy.
The owners are amazing, honest, respectable, and awesome people. I'd like to give them a huge THANK YOU for saving, collecting, packing, storing, and arranging a transfer of our belongings to us to during Lahaina fire and its aftermath events.

El Dorado is a wonderful base to explore Maui or relax and enjoy the amenities. J116 is a well equipped, coastal contemporary condo with comfortable beds and furniture.
Close to parking, pathways and pool.
Limited privacy, hedge view, busy pathway.
Three stairways and uneven path to pool, a bit difficult when recovering from broken ankle.

The location of this property is fantastic! We have stayed many places on Maui and agreed this was the best by far for what we wanted. Walked to happy hour and dinner at Whalers Village, walked to really great snorkel sites, closest to beautiful sandy bottom beach with the clearest water! Morning runs on the beach path also couldn’t have been better. Property just as described and pictured. Comfy bed. Great attentiveness from hosts. We loved our stay and can’t wait to be back!

Kaanapali Beach is beautiful and there is a lot of activity there. If you want a more secluded location, you can go to the Maui Eldorado’s cabana. The Maui Eldorado is surrounded by a golf course and the entire setting is very nice. The unit we stayed in was wonderful. Recently renovated studio had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. There is a nice parking garage right next to the unit and a short walk to the beach. The resort also offers a golf cart shuttle if needed.
The only issue was not the property owners fault. The people staying upstairs were quite loud and at one point were even moving furniture.

We chose this condo based on the high ratings. We are so happy that we did. Everything was very clean. It was quiet and private. The bed was comfortable. The short walk to the beach was easy for us. We thought we would be hanging out at the cabana but actually loved using and appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella provided. All the extras were thought of like a safe, luggage racks and an air purifier. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay there. From our perspective, the location could not have been better. Highly recommend.

The location of this condo and my overall stay couldn't have been more perfect! The unit was exactly as described. I especially enjoyed the outdoor lanai with its zero-gravity chairs. There is a walkway behind the lanai that residents and guests use to get from the property to the beach , but the high and thick shrubs provided complete privacy when I on the lanai.

The studio apartment met all of our needs for our month-long stay. We had prompt response to our requests - thank you! The Eldorado staff were friendly and helpful, especially enjoyed the Thursday afternoon mai tai’s. Our favorite spot was the cabana and its amenities on the beach. In a blink of an eye, our stay was over. Hope to see you again next year.

We booked this at the last minute and there were very few affordable choices. We were so glad this little studio was available! It was nicely remodeled and clean! It was very well furnished with a big screen TV, Internet, all the kitchen supplies and even shampoo and conditioner which was a lifesaver because I totally forgot to bring mine They were so nice they even left us a Hawaiian bag of coffee and chocolate macadamia nuts to enjoy! The location is ideal walking distance to Kaanapali Beach and everything West Maui has to offer! I would definitely stay again!

This unit was even better than described. Everything was clean, updated and had extras like beach equipment. We rent condos/houses regularly in Florida and this was the best rental experience. This is an end unit and just a few steps from the parking garage and about 5 minute walk to the beach. We absolutely would return to this unit and recommend it to anyone traveling to Maui. We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully remodelled modern condo. It is very well stocked and the owners have thought of everything to make your holiday great. They even supply Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a beach umbrella so you can enjoy the many beautiful beaches of Maui in comfort. The condo is immaculate with high quality linens and towels. We also enjoyed the welcome treats of chocolates and Maui coffee!

We had a great stay. It was our first time to Maui and wanted to stay somewhere near the majority of restaurants and central to some activities we had planned. We typically like to have a separate bedroom and shy away from the studio setup, but this was really pretty roomy. The older I get the more I appreciate a comfortable bed, and this king size bed was very comfortable! We would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I took our first real vacation away from our kids since having our second child and this condo was the perfect spot for us to land! Close to everything (walking distance to basically anywhere in the Lahaina resort area!), very clean, all the supplies you could need (beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, etc.), peaceful property with very polite neighbors - overall super relaxing! First let me thank the hosts for their prompt communication and understanding. Approximately two weeks before our planned arrival my 93 year old mother had an accident that looked like it was going to require my wife and I stay with her at home. I'm a by the rules kind of guy so I already knew that at 14 days away, I was going to lose half my payment. I reached out to the hosts and explained my situation with no expectations. Curtis quickly responded and let me know that as long as I cancelled quickly that they would give me a full refund less any Vrboo booking fee. WOW, I was so grateful and impressed ! !
Luckily for us, other family members stepped up which allowed us to go on our trip. From Curtis' very understanding initial response, I already knew we were going to enjoy our visit. Second great service was that literally the night before I realized that we were going to arrive well before the official 4pm check in time. I emailed Curtis and asked if we could possibly get an early check in. Again I had no expectations as this was a last minute request on my part. Curtis said he would see what he could do. Upon arrival, the front desk had said that they didn't have any notes indicating an early arrival. I called Curtis and he answered promptly and said he'd contacted the cleaning service and an early check in was supposed to be noted. After speaking to the front desk, it took just a little wait and everything was confirmed and we got our early check in. Kudos for the service ! !
Upon entering , the room and decor were exactly as the pictures ....immaculate, modern and comfortable. As everyone noted we had all the amenities that we needed; beach towels, beach chairs, sunscreen, umbrella, coolers, and even the ice packs. We used all of these for our daily trips to the various beaches we visited.
The kitchen was well stocked (we drank all the coffee provided!) and we cooked quite a few breakfasts and used the grill for some steaks.
The location was great as it was close enough to walk to Whalers/Kaanapali but without the hustle and bustle. Parking was also easy and located conveniently close to the condo.
Lastly during our stay the shower drain was backing up. Called Curtis who again answered promptly and promised a maintenance guy would be our shortly. Probably in the next 30 minutes a guy came out and cleared it up. Again I was impressed with the hosts responsiveness.
All in all a great stay. Mary and I would definitely stay again!!

Our stay here at the condo was very nice. Clean and convenient, near beach and most places we wanted to go to. Loved the washer/dryer, fridge and new decor of the place. We did have a couple issues tho-we were not able to open or unlock the sliding doors to enjoy the outside on the lanai after numerous attempts. Also, the main door did not always lock after we shut it. There was a problem with the bolt that prevented it to securely lock.

The condo is lovely and has all the amenities you will need. It is about a five minute walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to the Sheraton. The pool at the Eldorado is nice. We used the bbq, too. Great location and nice condo. I would go back in a heartbeat!

My wife and I had to delay our honeymoon due to the pandemic but finally got the chance to visit Maui and stay at Curtis and Julie's place and it was fantastic! The location is quiet but still very close to the parkade and BBQs which made access very convenient. The building is next to the path that leads to the beach making it a quick and easy walk past the golf course.
The unit itself was also a perfect match for the photos and felt brand new! The kitchen was well-equipped and there even some nice extras like a blender and coffee grinder. In addition there were two beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella which were a nice surprise! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, it was a fantastic experience and we already miss it.

This unit was EXACTLY as pictured and described. I truly felt at home from the moment that I arrived. There was not a detail overlooked. From the beautiful furnishings, luxurious bathroom towels, gorgeous appliances, comfortable bed, large TV, to beach necessities (new chairs, cooler, umbrella, etc.). The on-site property staff were great and location was prime!

Beautiful condo with everything needed for a wonderful stay. Close to Whaler’s Village shopping, and beautiful snorkeling at Black Rock and Kahekili Beach. The pools and beach at Eldorado are great! There are many restaurants within a few miles. Just a wonderful location to enjoy everything from Haleakala to Honolua Bay to Dragon’s Teeth and Nikili Blowhole. We loved having a golf cart to take us down to the cabana but the very short walk down the path was so enjoyable we opted to walk the rest of the time. We stayed the first week of Sept 2021. If you have any questions they respond promptly, and are very helpful and kind. They thought of everything when it comes to the condo, it has everything you need for the perfect vacation. Kitchen has everything, with beautiful newer appliances. They also supply beach towels, beach umbrella, two beach chairs and a cooler. They also have an in room safe and hairdryer. Super close to parking, and just a quick easy walk to a BEAUTIFUL beach. It is also located in a great area. The condo was also very, very clean. We cant say enough great things about the condo or Curtis & Julie. We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay there and hope to be able to stay again in the future. Place is just as pictured. Thanks for helping make our trip amazing!!

This was the best rental property I have ever stayed at. Not only was the location perfect (the beach was beautiful and not crazy crowded, the beach cabana was a welcome break for lunch and a little shade, walking distance to restaurants and shops), but the inside was even more amazing. The decor is gorgeous, and Curtis and Julie took the time to really make sure everything you need and more is there. A well stocked kitchen with cooking tools, even to-go coffee cups and Tupperware to bring on your drive around the island! Beach chairs, umbrella, and even an Amazon echo! The bed was comfy and we loved the outdoor patio. This place was an absolute gem. If we ever return to Hawaii, it will 100% be back to this place!

Our rental was perfect. Just as we hoped. Great location, walking distance to whalers village, close to the beach where you can snorkel, and cabana/chairs/towels provided on beach. The host has chairs/towels as well in the room for other adventures which we used. The rental was beautiful and super clean. Hubby and I enjoyed the on site pool and BBQ grills. We had everything we needed at this property. We definitely want to come back to this exact location. It was perfect for a beautiful and relaxing Maui beach vacation! Five stars all around! There aren't enough good things I can say about this place - we absolutely LOVED staying here! The place was so clean and new it practically sparkled. The hosts have great design taste, are so helpful and responsive. The apartment was stocked with everything we could need - beach gear, towels, kitchen equipment, etc. The resort staff was so kind and helpful and we loved being so close to such a beautiful beach. Perfect location, cozy & beautiful apartment, great amenities - there was nothing more we could have asked for.

Great location and amenities. Short walk to the pool, fitness center, and beach. We spent 12 days here and could of stayed longer if we weren’t expecting are first grandkid. Unit was everything the pics show, super clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Beach chairs are perfect for taking to the beach along with the umbrella.
