We loved our stay! Everything was perfect! Great location - close enough to get anywhere driving, clean, had everything you’d need for the beach, hotel staff were friendly and helped arrange adventures/activities and an easy check in/out! Host was friendly, left a welcome basket of treats, always responded to messages and answered any questions! Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!

The unit was perfect for our stay. It is located in a more quiet part of the property with a wonderful patio view of the well maintained garden grounds. Upon our arrival, the room itself was clean and well stocked to meet our needs.We have been coming to Maui Kaanapali Villas for many years and staying in many different units.I would certainly not hesitate to try to rent this unit again.

Maui Kaanapali Villas was a fabulous place to stay. It is a hidden gem in Kaanapali. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is friendly. The full kitchen's are definitely a plus for families to cook meals and have the convenience of a fridge. There is a gym that is perfect for a good workout before the beach. Everything was wonderful, we can't wait to go back.

We got what we paid for but it was a little underwhelming when it came to kitchen amenities,etc. Dont expect it to be equipped to make a gourmet dinner but a simple set of measuring spoons, a roll of plastic wrap , etc would be nice. Missing items not just limited to the two mentioned. It as a very clean unit so that more than makes up for this

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Unfortunately we only had a week to enjoy. The condo was spotless and was stocked with everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable as was all the furnishings. I spent every morning on the Lanai with my free coffee I got from downstairs. We spent magical evenings watching the sunset from the beach. The days were filled with snorkeling and long beach . walks.Snorkeling was amazing just a five minute walk north. I saw so many colorful fish, stingrays, turtles and to my surprise two monk seals swam right beside me. It was an incredible experience. All communication with the host Barbara was exemplary. She was very quick to respond and give great suggestions on activities and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay and we will be back. If you want a magical experience book this vacation rental.

A home away from home at a great price. The owner is outstanding in communications and takes great pride to ensure ones stay is exceptional. The condo itself is well maintained and equipped to make one feel at home. The kitchen is well stocked pans-plates, spices, baggies, all necessities need for a beach picnic. The king size beds is very comfortable. Beach supplies such as chairs, snorkeling equip provided by hosts. The resort has friendly and helpful staff and a nice heated pool, in which one can exchange beach towels daily. As well as games; pingpong, shuffleboard to keep family entertained. . The host kindly allowed us a late check out at no cost given we had a later flight. Overall an amazing experience and a home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at this condo! It was clean and comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and with by far the best-stocked kitchen we’ve ever experienced in a vacation rental property, which was a huge plus as we enjoy cooking a few meals while traveling. There were even sand toys for our littles. The view from the condo is beautiful, with gorgeous sunsets. We even saw whales from the balcony on several occasions. The property itself is beautiful, with nice pools and very easy access to the beach. The beach location is ideal - not as crowded as the part on the other side of black rock, with lots of room to spread out, yet with easy access to a variety of restaurants/shopping via a short beach walk, board walk, or trolley. What made our stay even better was Barbara - she went above and beyond sharing helpful information and providing amazing recommendations for which we are grateful, as this really simplified our planning. We are already looking forward to returning here. In fact the kids specifically said they want this exact condo next time. Barbara - thank you for sharing your amazing place!

We were very happy with our stay, and pleased with the attention to detail. There was nothing more we needed that wasn’t available. Location to pool could not have been better, walking short distance to beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our 3rd time at the resort and the 1st with this unit. The unit was great to where it was on the ground floor and there is a private patio. The view from the unit is good also.

Great place, 10 out of 10, would highly recommend. The owner was responsive and great to work with. Fully stocked, basic spices in the cabinets, basic supplies like ziplock bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil. A knife block with actual good knives. Easy walk to the beach and main pool, with the small pool only steps away. Will most likely look at staying again in 2028.

Yes, the view of the ocean was narrow but enjoyable. Love to see the sunsets! Room was comfortable and clean. Pool was awesome as well as the grounds. Really liked the mellow vibe of the whole establishment. Nearby snorkeling was great. We’ll be back.

I had a wonderful time here. The condo had everything I needed with many thoughtful extras. The sunsets and the whales on the beach were spectacular and the pool was just steps from the lanai. I’ll be back in September!

Host was accessible. Having stayed in other units, we found this one to be average. It seems to be on auto pilot. Other owners are more welcoming and take a few little extra steps to make you feel like you are in Hawaii.Had to ask fir more Tp and linen change. I think the statement of “totally remodeled” is stretching things. It was clean and comfortable but certainly not “new”. Missed a balcony that could be sat on. This was more of a “French balcony”. Could not get the TV remote to work despite buying new batteries. Kitchen was well equipped and suited our needs, but need more then 2 teaspoons.

We loved our stay in The Little Grass Shack. The cleanliness, decor, , welcome basket, and communications with Jeanne were perfect. So many little details that were unexpected and made our stay feel special. The kichen is well equiped to be able to dine-iin, if you choose.The property is walkable to the beach as well as many restuarants and shopping.

Excellent stay, Exceptional hosts!No surprises here, what you read about in the description is what you'll get! They have accurately described their unit to a fault, with the pros which are many.... as well as the cons, which are few. This is an exceptionally clean unit with comfortable furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, good views of the ocean (even saw whales a few times while we dined in) and enough storage for our things. Any communication regarding the reservation, questions about the unit, procedures or minor issues were answered or addressed almost immediately. They also provided a list of restaurants and things to do in the area that we made good use of! Being somewhat leery whenever seeing properties with reviews of perfect 10s, 5 stars or whatever method is being used, we can happily give our perfect 10 or 5 stars with this one. The entire experience was top notch. So much so, that we're booked again for next year! :)Mahalo Barbara and Howard!

Good location, the host, Joe, was very easy to deal with and replied quickly to our questions and provided us a late checkout for no extra cost. The unit is small as a studio which was fine but it is a little dated and could use a refresh and there was no where to put the food we purchased as all the cupboards were full. The sound proofing between units is not great so it can be a bit noisy if a family is beside you that talk loudly. The beach out front is lovely and sunset is beautiful to view from there.

Most properties on the beach have thousands of people stacked on top of each other. The nice thing about the Villas is that it’s spread out. Plenty of room to move freely. Room C152 is perfect. Clean and ready when we (wife and I) moved in. Unit had everything we needed. (Beach chairs were an added bonus) staff was very friendly. Of all the places we’ve stayed in Hawaii, this our favorite. Perfectly priced and wonderfully appointed. We WILL be back. Dan and Anna

Outstanding unit, even better owner!We have been visiting Maui Kaanapali Villas yearly for 18 years, many years visiting twice. This is the best appointed unit we have rented. This condo is head and shoulders above any other unit we have rented. Everything has been well thought through, from extra soap, paper products, everything we wanted in the kitchen and there was a nice selection of condiments and spices available (I get frustrated paying Maui prices for a bunch of little things like mustard, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and other little cooking ingredients). The television gets about 150 channels or more, the kitchen has a coffee maker and coffee grinder (along with a day or two of coffee beans from the owner. Wonderful King size bed, shower/tub, great knife set (Yes, the knives were sharp), and a wonderful welcome basket with chocolates, cookies, wine, macadamia nuts and Maui Potato chips! There plenty of extra bathroom towels, hair dryer, just everything we needed. Also included was a wagon full of beach equipment including boogie board, beach mats, foam noodles for the pools.This unit is by far the best stocked unit we have rented. I can’t recommend this unit highly enough.

Easy check in, condos are close to beach and has a great restaurant on site. There's a Safeway right down the street so you can make use of the great kitchen, everything you need is there!Condos have a trolley that can take you to several nearby attractions. Nice pool and hot tub. Great condo, clean and fabulous patio!

Loved the landscaping and how well the property was maintained. We loved being close to the smaller of the two pools. Couldn’t be happier with our proximity to the beach. Our room was supplied and equipped well to make meals ourself. Laundry facility was very well kept and clean.

Best Maui vacation yet!We LOVED staying at Maui Kaanapali Villas. The unit had just about everything we needed. Some BBQ tools would be a good addition. But we appreciated the dishes provided, beach chairs and umbrella! We cooked several meals, enjoyed slow mornings on the lanai watching the birds, and loved evening walks on the beach walk. It’s the perfect distance from Whalers Village on one side and Duke’s on the other. We loved the options of hanging on the beach, at one of the pools, or in a lounge chair in the grass. Castaway Cafe is a great addition. We even watched the playoff game from the bar AND saw whales breaching in the distance. Some have complained about the road noise. Yes, there is some, but it was basically a nonissue for us. We couldn’t hear the road noise at night, in fact we slept like babies!One last note, everyone on staff is amazing. We checked out at 11am but our flight left at 9pm. They stored our bags, we still had full access to the property and they even had showers available.

Resort is in a great location - nice beach that is walking distance from a fantastic reef for snorkeling. Unit is on the ground floor with direct access to the lawn and has a wagon with all the supplies you need for the beach. Responsive host who provided a deluxe welcome basket.

Everything was great. The Dyson vacuum was a game changer. It was the first time I’ve ever had a really good vacuum when staying in one of the Mkv units and it made such a difference. As a single mom with three little kids, you can imagine staying in a studio for over 10 days. Can you feel a little tight and cramped but I was very much so able to keep the unit clean every day again the Dyson vacuum was the game changer. Location was awesome. The beds were comfortable, but you know was stocked with everything we needed, and I really really like the bathroom remodel that you guys did. Look forward to hopefully staying with you again.
