This was probably one of the best VRBO experience we have had! We loved our stay in the Little Grass Shack! Everything from the cleanliness, decor, room & resort amenities and location on beautiful Kaanapali Beach were so perfect! The host, Jeanne, was very accommodating, had great communication and truly thought of everything we needed for our stay, even a little Welcome basket full of goodies! We had an amazing time & will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at this condo, it was so clean, spacious, beautifully decorated in a Hawaiian vibe. Extremely functional kitchen. Quality finishing. The star of the show was the lanai with rocking chairs and a perfect view of the ocean and pool area. Excellent communication with the owners as well!

Very nicely equipped condo close to the water. This place had everything we needed . Not having been to Maui before, we found this gem on vrbo. The owner was very responsive and even allowed us a late checkout that was very much appreciated. I did not realize that a lot of the condos are a bit of a distance to haul your stuff to the beach. Not this one. Park fight outside by the lanai if you have a rental car and the the beach access is right across the street. We will be back.

This was a great room - I would rent it again. I love having a separate bedroom, and 2nd bathroom was a huge bonus. I was also amazed at how well outfitted the kitchen and bathrooms were, including finding additional toiletries like aloe Vera and sun lotion that I imagine were helpful to other guests. Everything we needed was there (except ice - I think because new refrigerator wasn’t hooked to water supply). We just bought some ice. We didn’t use any of the beach items or toys, but other guests will find plenty for their visit. The TV had Roku which helped us find streaming services we use on our one rainy day during our stay. The view is stunning, the furniture super comfy and the bed was so comfortable I slept at least 8 hours every night! I appreciate the insulated screens which we closed in the afternoons to keep the heat from the sun from heating up the rooms. For the most part very quiet except noises from upstairs when they dragged chairs around in a.m. and p.m. Lovely furnishings and I believe a good value.

The beach is the best! Easy access. Love the grassy area on the walk. The staff at the facility are friendly and helpful. We have stayed there many times. The room was overall clean. But, needs work. Bathroom bath/shower needs grouting. Tub is slippery. Cheapest towels. The toilet kept running. We reported it at the desk but my husband did a quick fix. Kitchen nicely appointed. Not a lot of room for groceries etc..maybe a shelf would be a good idea. Throw pillows were dirty. We placed them on the floor and never used them. We thought we had a balcony to sit on but the space is only for show. Overall paying what we did I would not pick this room again.

Location is great. Close to everything. First impressions were good. Cute furnishings & nice kitchen, which we wanted. Plenty of supplies for our use. Super tiny Linai, which was mostly unused because of that. Bed was uncomfortable, woke with low backaches daily, and it wasn’t made properly. Sheets kept coming off. Also there were bugs in the bathroom and cockroaches in the kitchen. Also dishwasher rack was all rusty. Probably won’t stay there again.

We have stayed at MKV many times and this unit was fantastic. The view is one of the best at the resort and the location is very nice and convenient. Sunsets every night from our porch or the couch or the front lawn. The unit was clean and well appointed. Fantastic kitchen with everything you need, nice appliances and a great view. Very nice bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower. The bed very comfortable. There was an issue at check in, but it was pretty quickly resolved thanks to the staff at the resort front desk. We very much look forwards to staying in this unit again.

The room was perfect! All the amenities we needed and more. We had snorkle gear, pool noodles, boogie boards, a beach mat, plenty of spices for cooking, sugar packets, tin foil and plastic wrap, dishes and cookware. I was impressed with the dishes and cookware because many times the dishes are chipped and the cookware is peeling (teflon). Not the case here. Those details mean alot to me because it shows intent in keeping the unit up to date. Oh, I also found nail polish remover, q-tips, peroxide and a few other things under the bathroom counter. The closet has a bin with tape, batteries, a small sewing kit and other items that were very useful. The location was quiet. The lanai, for all units on this side, has a hedge that keeps it feeling pretty private. I loved watching the gecko running up and down the tree by the unit. I also like that when the sliding door is open for an extended period of time the A/C unit kicks off but kicks back on when the door is closed. That way I didn't keep having to remember to do it myself. The staff at the hotel were very nice. All except the concierge lady. She was pushy and rude when I turned down a luau. Nothing to do with our room though so that's just a side note. As far as the room, I am already looking to book again next year.

The room was as described. However the A/C could have been better. We had some light issues in the bathroom but they fixed it right away after sending an email. It is a little dated but it worked for us as we needed the 3 beds and kitchen. There was a little ocean view which was nice and the location was great. Pool and beach were just a 2 minute walk. My kids loved the free hot chocolate and ping pong in the lobby area. Parking was never an issue. Would recommend.

The stay was a bit mixed. The room was just as expected from the pictures on the website and the description given - it was clean and tidy, however there were a few issues during our stay. The air conditioner was quite noisy and unfortunately with all the previous rain Maui received, the room had cockroaches. With that said, the host was very responsive and ultimately provided reimbursement, which showed she cared about making things right. Overall the room, location on the property and customer service was fantastic. With attention to the few maintenance issues, this villa would be a fantastic place to stay.

I chose this place due to the reviews, so it is only right that I leave a review. This far exceeded our expectations. No detail was forgotten. From the privacy on the back patio (that no other unit had), the location on the property, the welcome basket for guests, to the unit accommodating items you may have forgotten. The studio villa was clean, updated and had a nice view of the garden and pool. The size was good for being a studio. However, the kitchen was missing several basic items: a measuring cup, measuring spoons, a baking sheet, and no storage containers, or Saran or aluminum foil. We didn’t expect many spices, but there was not even salt and pepper! Also, the shower drain backed up after even a short shower. A little attention to details that would make a stay more inviting might be in order.

Another great stay at MKV. Great place to stay for the two of us. Kitchen has everything needed for us to cook. Nice separate bedroom from the living room and kitchen. Great view of Molokai and the evening sunset over the ocean with outside seating. Can even see the sun come up over the mountains. Definitely recommend!

Maui Kaanapali Villas was a fabulous place to stay. It is a hidden gem in Kaanapali. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is friendly. The full kitchen's are definitely a plus for families to cook meals and have the convenience of a fridge. There is a gym that is perfect for a good workout before the beach. Everything was wonderful, we can't wait to go back.
