Easy walk to Whalers Village and the ocean. The property is small but beautiful, we loved the trees. Sitting on the patio watching the sunset is magical. The condo was very comfortable and loved that there was 2 primary suites.

The stay was good overall. The condo was nice with most everything you need. The beach chairs and cooler were a nice touch. The walk to the beach was a little further than we anticipated, but was only an issue if you are carrying a bunch of stuff down to the beach for the day. There is parking at the beach, but it gets filled up quickly. Outside deck was very nice and roomy with a great BBQ as well. There is a Safeway 5 minute drive away, as well as Whalers Village which is a 12 minute walk. Property management company was excellent to deal with. We would come back again to this condo.

J303 was as described. This is a fantastic condo and would highly recommend staying there.The kitchen was fully equipped, plenty of dishware, spices, and cooking utensils. Kannapali Royal has a very nice pool and hot tub centrally located. Great views and nice walk from the unit to Whalers Village. Lahina Trolley has a stop near the complex that will take you to and from Whalers Village.

We had a great stay at this property! It came well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen right down to a cooler and everything else needed for a nice beach day. Rick was incredible to communicate with and we had zero issues during our stay. The condo was spacious and had a million dollar ocean view that we loved waking up to. The location is perfect in a beautiful, quiet area. We have stayed a numerous properties in the Kaanapali area and this one has been the best so far! Hope to be back soon.

This condo was lovely and comfortable and very well furnished. Only recommendation would be to change the entry system to a keypad. Having to put the key back in the lock box each time was tricky and led to us getting locked out on our first time! Monty was very accommodating and came to our rescue quickly!

This property is lovely, sitting right on the golf course. The view from the generous lanai is outstanding. The pool area was well-used by our grandkids. We appreciated the adjoining restrooms and BBQ grills.We were unlucky in our travel dates, arriving during the last of the "hundred year" storm that flooded Maui. Our first days were challenging due to closed roads, restaurants and stores. The manager of the condo allowed us a refund for that portion of our stay. We are so appreciative of his willingness to work with us on that issue and a couple of other concerns. We would stay here again.

If you are lucky enough to have this condo available for rent during your trip, book it immediately & without question. The beds & pillows were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels, beach chairs & umbrellas, coolers, etc. The condo was very clean, couches and chairs were comfortable & clean. The layout and size of the condo is perfect for 6 people. Great TV. It's close to the beach (10 to 15 minute walk), easy parking. Wonderful swimming pool & hot tub. And the HOA keeps the grounds incredibly clean (they have multiple people out every day). The kitchen is fully equipped with all plates, silverware, pots & pans, etc. There is also glass pyrex for leftovers. Kitchen is large and easy to cook in. A nice surprise for us was the array of cooking spices there were to choose from. We were there during a Kona low storm & were forced to stay indoors for a few days and the condo was very comfortable. The large lanai & the view from it was fantastic - - - it stayed dry and was sheltered from wind. Being able to use the grill and be outside was lovely. We truly had everything we needed. And Curtis & Martine were absolutely amazing. Very responsive to our questions. We can't recommend this condo enough.

The whole unit needs updating, and so dark inside; furniture is old, old, old. Replace bed matresses, too soft. Themostat is too regulated to not cool enough. Third story steps are just much to lug suitcases and groceries.

The spaces in the unit were pleasant to hang out in. We were traveling with another couple, so the fact that each room had its own full bath suited us well. We also used the washer/dryer and were pleased that a few pods and dryer sheets were provided. We also took advantage of the Tommy Bahama chairs for enjoying the beaches.

We had an amazing stay at Heathers condo. We have stayed at the Kaanapali Royal for years and this might be our favorite condo and host! Heather was super responsive with a minor fan issue we had and with rebooting the internet. So helpful! And the condo had everything and more than we needed. The ground floor location is amazing for getting to the pool, especially nice with little kids. We would love to stay at Heathers condo again when we come back! Would definitely recommend!

This place is, in our opinion, the absolute best place to stay on Maui. We love it so much, and will rebook as soon as we can. The space is wonderful—comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The owners have truly thought of everything. It’s steps from the pool, which is so nice (especially with two kids who want to go to the pool several times a day!) and a short, easy walk to whalers village and the beach. We have stayed in other units at kaanapali royal before but will come back to this unit because of the owners. They’re so nice, responsive, and truly care about the quality of our stay. Amazing! Natalie was very easy to work with and helped with my questions before our arrival.
The condo was very clean.
The kitchen was well stocked with every possible dish and drinkware that one may need. The lanai was lovely with two tables to sit and a BBQ. We sat on it for most breakfasts and dinners, enjoying the view while using the grill. This made meals a breeze.
The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and had a great seating area as well. The pool area was calm.
The condo was very spacious. Beach chairs and a few toys were also available, which were very handy. Parking is just a few steps away from the door, so that was a treat.
The location was excellent. While it is a short walk from the beach, it was also a short walk from the bustle of the beach hotel zone. This could be an issue for someone with mobility issues; however, in the unit description, the owners outline the steps so you can determine if it will work for you.
It was very quiet. There is a busy road on the opposite side of the parking but this did not bother us at all.
We would stay here again and also would recommend others stay.

Arrived to a broken a/c unit. Everday they said they were sending someone out to fix it. 4 days later at 8pm it was fixed. It was between 79 and 80 degress in our unit. We were only refunded 144 for our 6 day stay. What a joke.

Kelly was an amazing host. The hot water heater wasn't working properly; she responded right away and had someone out that day to fix it. Same when the A/C went out, which turned out to be the fault of the condo and not her home. The home was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked (I cooked something almost every day). Kelly provided loads of beach and bath towels, and the beach chairs were most appreciated.

We had 3 weeks at Kaanapali Royal on Maui. It was our third visit to this unit and fifth to this resort. We had a great trip, and enjoyed the visit.
The biggest annoyance was a cumbersome television system making it difficult to keep up with news and sports.
I trip was great. Beyond their control, the Lahaina fire and the cancelled PGA Sentry tournament reduced our enjoyment.
