The floor plan was designed with access from both the living room and the master bedroom out to the spacious outdoor lanai area, which hosts a seating area off the bedroom for morning coffee, and a large dining table.

Place was clean, quiet and walking distance to Whalers Village. We also loved escaping to the quiet pool area. Great for two couples to share with the two bedrooms and attached bathrooms. Would definitely stay again!

Location was great. Walking distance to Black rock beach and shopping. Place was clean and well equipped with stuff. Though it could have used a few more dishwasher tabs, trash bags, wash rags to wipe down tables and counters and could use hot pads for taking pans out of the oven.

Good location. Love the layout of the condo. Needs some updating of the appliances, a few of the light switches did not work properly, that's why I rated it a 3. Should state in the ads that there is a parking fee, I was unaware of a parking charge until 2 days before our trip. We would stay at this location again.

We had no issues during our stay at the Kaanapali Royal in unit C202. The property was just as shown in the photos, with a fantastic location that made for a wonderful vacation.One note to be aware of: the listing states the unit sleeps six, but while there are queen-sized beds in each bedroom, the air mattress provided for the additional two guests was only a twin size. Although it came in a queen-sized box, the mattress itself was definitely smaller. If you’re planning to accommodate six people, this might be a concern.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the accurate representation of the unit.

Excellent condo! Unfortunately arrived the first day with strong cat urine all over the entryway/ exterior porch. The welcome door mat was just moved ten feet away. We placed our shoes on the lanai with cleaned soles with Clorox wipes. We then mopped up the tracked in cat urine. The management company was Very Helpful and had the exterior entry cleaned the next day and remapped the floor! With a new door mat! The Condo is Perfect, clean, modern, and comfortable. Nobody can control cats or herd them ! Ha Ha Thank you for the rental and great service!!!!!

The condo was very nice, exceptionally clean and well stocked for our stay. Additionally, we had one small maintenance related issue and the property manager had it resolved within an hour. Kaanapali Royal is in a great location to quickly get to downtown Lahaina, several beaches, golf courses, shopping spots, and restaurants. The property has a very nice pool but a big negative was that the hot tub was not heating for the entirety of our 2 wk stay and a “cold tub” jacuzzi just doesn’t measure up after a day on the golf course. One last thing - a word of advise - be sure to purchase trip insurance if you are renting a unit managed by Maui Paradise Properties (MPP). When my wife was diagnosed with uterine cancer approximately 30 days prior to our arrival date, MPP wouldn’t allow us to reschedule our dates even though Vrbo allows you to work it out with the property’s owner. MPP’s policy is no refund or reschedule inside of 60 days from the trip start date. As a result of that policy, my wife didn’t get to make the annual trip to visit with our son and daughter-in-law, who live on Maui, this year. So as not to completely lose the money that we had paid for the condo, my wife insisted that my daughter and I go so we each went for a week and we greatly missed her while we were there.

Great place to stay for the price. Parking is expensive ($150/week per vehicle) and both the bathrooms are only accessible thru the bedrooms.

Our first impression was not great and it kind of stayed at that level throughout our stay. Knowing that check-in was at 4pm, our family of 5 took our sweet time at the airport and arrived at around 3:30pm. We looked through the window and saw that the unit was empty and dark so we contacted the manager to ask if we could enter a bit earlier. They denied our request, saying that someone still needed to come to inspect the unit before we entered. So either the manager lied or our unit was not inspected as, apparently, they required. The unit was not great and we would not stay here again. Here were some of our issues: - At least 3-4 of the days during our stay, the grass at the golf course was being cut and it was really loud; too loud to sit outside on the patio. - Our kitchen light did not work, which we did not realize until I tried to make dinner after our arrival so I had to cook with the dim light above the stove. Their "24 hour" service number did not get back to us until I texted several times over the night and through next morning. To their credit, someone did come and fix the light that next day. Their service number, although not available 24 hours, was the most helpful during our stay (more on that later). - A minor point but instructions were not all that clear and the instructions texted to us vs instructions in the link emailed to us vs instructions printed and left in the unit had discrepancies. - Last, but not least, the gate code to enter parking was changed mid-stay and that was not communicated to us. We only found out because we were stuck outside the gate, late at night in the dark, with our tired and hungry 3 littles in the car, on our drive back from a long day at the beach. We contacted both the manager and the service numbers, as well as the number on the keypad and the only person to contact us with the correct code was the service number. Unfortunately, it wasn't until the following morning. A few other things to note about the community in general: - The front desk doesn't really do anything other than collect money for parking. They are not helpful with any questions regarding your unit. - The pool was murky throughout our stay. We would not recommend this property. Based on our stay, the price was too high for unorganized, difficult to reach, and inflexible management. And although the greens were pretty, they were also pretty loud.

Condo was clean, roomy, and perfect for 2 couples. Patio area was nice to chill on and enjoy the golf course view and activities. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues which occurs with rentals, but they were taken care promptly. Be aware the beach is a bit of a walk (10-15 mins) especially if your wanting to haul beach gear. We ended up driving. Would stay here again!

Whole stay days without fast way to contact. Also receptionist off the duty from 4pm , really not a friendly time for customers. No flexibility time to check out. 10am is quite earlier compared to other rental places. 12pm should be standard. Pls improve ur services, otherwise it will impact your business in future.

My family stayed at this lovely Kaanapali condo which was spacious and had everything we needed for a family of four. We enjoyed grilling on the lanai and relaxing at the pool/jacuzzi. I chose this location for its proximity to the beach but ended up driving because there are no shortcuts through the condo complex or golf course (obviously for safety). Would have been a perfect distance for bikes if you don’t mind the small hill. I would absolutely stay here again.
