The property was exactly as described. We loved the view of the golf course and a little glimpse of the ocean. Location was perfect for our event which was my son‘s wedding and the property manager as well as the owner have been nothing short of amazing to deal with. We had to postpone the wedding due to the Lahaina fire earlier this summer, and the host, as well as the owner, were more than gracious to accommodate us with the new dates. I can’t wait to return and I will definitely, be hoping and praying this property is available when we come back to Maui next year. 🙏😊💛

This was our third stay at the Kaanapali Royal but our first time in this unit. Both Jeanne and Monty helped us with one minor issue upon arrival. The unit was so clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, even chip clips which were much appreciated! We had seven people — three generations of family with the youngest being teenagers. “Grammy” commented as we checked out that she wants to stay in this exact unit again in the future.

This property is exactly what the pictures show online. I cant express how much I appreciate that. No surprises and no let downs. You get exactly what you see in the pictures. This condo is so spacious and beautiful, you’ll be sad at times to go sightseeing and not spend more time at this place. The owner, Jeanne, was straightforward and made sure everything was set before we arrived. The property manager, Monty, made sure we got the info we needed before we checked in and out. Jeanne was kind enough to allow our “more than 7” family stay and I truly appreciate that. If we ever go back to Maui this property will be our go to if she’ll have us.
My only issue is not with this rental but with Kaanapali Resort management about $154 parking for each car, no matter how long your stay. It’s outrageous especially we had two cars and we were only there for a few days, they should charge a daily for weekly rate. That parking fee will definitely scare away a lot of potential renters, especially from amazing properties like this one.
All in all, you will not be disappointed when you stay here!

This is a great central location on a beautiful property. The hosts provide items for visiting the beach (fins, beach chairs, towels). You are right next to the Fairway Shops for quick shopping needs which includes the Snorkel Store with very reasonable prices for equipment rental (and a shave ice counter) if that is of interest during your stay.
You are a short walk to get to Whaler's Village shopping mall and access to the beach through there. You are also short drives to the main drag along Front Street in Lahaina and up to Airport Beach with great snorkelling right off shore.
Our daughter loved using the pool on property as well as snorkelling and riding waves off Airport Beach and on the beach near Black Rocks!

The property was as advertised. Lots of room for the six of us. Enjoy the pool in the evenings. It was never very busy like some resorts. About 10-15 min walk to Whalers Village which has shopping and restaurants. Easy access to the highway for the beaches. Quite area even off the highway.

This complex and the surrounding area couldn’t have been more perfect for our family of varying ages. With the swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts, basketball hoop, and free shuttle to the hotel strip and beach, there was something for everyone to do. This condo is a gem in Maui. Fabulous accommodations with the comfort of home. Clean and spacious with a washer and dryer. You are surrounded by beautiful painted trees on a golf course. You can view the ocean and the mountains while sitting on your lanai enjoying your coffee. The condo grounds are beautiful. The pool is refreshing. You are only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. My family felt like they were in paradise. We will stay here again on or next trip.

Condo is very large with two bedrooms that both have an attached bathroom. Has large kitchen with all the supplies, beach chairs and beach towels and coolers which was nice. Large living room and patios. Patio looks out over golf course. Overall it is a very nice place. My only complaint is that the upstairs bed is very firm and bedding is not very nice. I had a hard time sleeping because of this. But I use a three inch topper at home. I don’t use comforters that don't have the washable duvet but thats my picky self. Overall a nice stay.

We had a really wonderful stay here! Six adults with plenty of room for socializing and for private time. Beds are very comfortable and everything was well maintained, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Any questions we had were quickly addresses by Monty. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a close drive into Lahaina for shopping and strolling. The view from the 1st floor lanai is amazing as well as the one in the 2nd floor master and the small one off the 1st floor bedroom was really lovely in the mornings.

This was a wonderful place to stay! We had plenty of space for our 5 kids and husband and I to sleep and sit. We made meals in the condo which helped us save money. A home cooked meal, laundry, multiple bedrooms - it was very nice. Our child wished for a TV in the small bedroom, but otherwise nothing we found lacking. I'd stay again, no hesitation.

Updating needed in rental property; the stove dial numbers are worn off, closet doors are broken, light in master shower has a huge gap in the drywall exposing the wires, drawers in dresser are broken. not enough blankets, there was a condensation leak at the front exterior door creating a pool of water and a big mess entering the unit. It was fixed the next day. Otherwise, we loved the size and equipped kitchen, beach accessories & wagon. The walk to beach was difficult and quite a ways due to the golf course non-exiting.

The condo has a large living area with a very large balcony (and a second balcony in the master). We ate breakfast on the balcony every day! Good grill! This unit faces the sunset.

I am a frequent traveler to Maui and Kauai for vacation and family, and took a chance on this property after reading so many glowing reviews.
We were not disappointed and everything was exactly as advertised. Check in process was easy, communication was easy and the location is spectacular up the hill from the golf course overlooking Whalers Village!
This is a perfect location and property for a large family or two couples looking to get away and have a location close enough to the main areas near whalers, but yet far enough away so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
I would not hesitate to book here again on my next stay!

Beds spreads were old and stained, along with the carpet in both bedrooms. There were extra pillows but no pillow cases. The master shower is extremely hard to enter because it has a 24" wall by the tub. The kitchen, living area and lanai were great. Could use a blind in living room as the sun comes in and its impossible to sit there during parts of the day. Locations was good, close to Whaler's Village shopping and other Hotels and dining. 8-10 minutes from Lahaina.

This condo is very well setup for a family to come and enjoy their stay. The beds are very comfortable and have quality pillows, sheets and blankets. The beach gear includes boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, kids beach toys. The lanai dining area was perfect to enjoy the evenings after a very active day it was a plus having your own grill on the lanai. With our family of 6 we did run out of dishes and glasses so a few more would be beneficial. We had a little issue with the water pressure in one of the showers and Monty had it fixed immediately. The gated property was very safe and quiet. If we ever make it back to Maui we will definitely stay here again.

Overall the property was good. The lanai is lovely and overlooks the golf course. The walk to the beach is longish unless you walk across the golf course which is a dangerous proposition unless you are really careful. However, the shops, restaurants and beach are really not far and definitely walkable. When we arrived, the sinks were clogged, which the onsite property manager dealt with really expeditiously. The kitchen is well equipped, with lots of dishes and wine glasses. Pots and pans were not super but c’est la vie. We started washing dishes by hand after a few days since the dishwasher needed a good cleaning (or repair). I never mentioned this to the property owner though or I’m sure they would have addressed it just as quickly as the sinks. Really not a big deal…Overall, we had a lovely stay. Bedrooms were both really good sizes and linens were just fine. We really appreciated the good quality snorkelling gear left on the property and made use of it to snorkel on Kaanapali Beach but also in Honolua Bay, which really is super close by car.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property at Kaanapali Royal which is located at a world class resort. Despite the inclement weather, we were still able to enjoy the expansive white sand beach with magnificent views of Lanai and Molokai. The Condo is very clean, spacious and overlooking the golf course and resort. It has a very roomy lanai complete with patio furnitures and grill.
Everything we needed for cooking including a wide array of condiments,
and cookware is available in the Condo.
We felt very safe and secure knowing that it's in a gated community complete with roving security in the evening. We were not able to enjoy the swimming pool and tennis courts due to the rainy and windy weather so we look forward to coming back soon to enjoy all the great amenities this place has to offer. The property manager Monty was very thoughtful and accommodating to our needs. We will definitely return and stay here and highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the best venue that Maui has to offer. My family and I really enjoyed our short stay and can't wait to return and stay here at this beautiful Condo. Arrival was more challenging than anticipated.
Upon arriving we found some unwelcome house guests- cockroaches and I notified host. He said they would treat it on Monday, to my knowledge that did not happen. I understand they are common in certain regions, just a surprise to be greeted at arrival in the bedroom.
The TV upstairs wasn’t working, determined by husband and host it was remote. Remote was then shared for both TVs.
PLEASE make host aware of needs prior to checkin.. we had a large party of 6 and could not be accommodated as we had enough beds- but no sheets and/or pillowcases for extra beds- cot, pull out sofa. Unfortunately, It was just before 9 pm when we began looking to make the beds and became aware. The host neither returned text or call. I then began washing all the shams in the house and looking to improvise for sheets so (3) people had a place to lie there head. The description of the unit made it seem like the air mattress and pillow top were in the room. They were available, but not in room. Unfortunately many texts to host that may have been able to be avoided. Made the best as we were in Hawaii!
I did receive an apology early Saturday about no return contact, but then had to ask for sheets/pillowcases again when at 5 pm we still hadn’t received them. I understand people are busy and have their own lives but we were paying to have accommodations for our family and it was a bit of a hassle.
Cleaning fee? As we were cleaning up and checking to see we had all of our things, we found a significant amount of trash- food containers, water bottles, toys, etc. in the rooms. We also were asked to start the laundry for the towels..
The house was clean, spacious, and beautiful.
Beach, pool, and shopping were close and convenient. Loved all of the extras- beach toys, laundry in house, variety of amenities for cooking, recommendations. The house was well stocked with almost everything one could need. Beautiful lanai and sunsets.. very quiet and serene.

Nice condo! This was our first time not staying in a hotel on Kaanapali. Upstairs bed was comfortable (didn’t try the downstairs one). Kitchen was so nice for breakfast, lunch, and cookie-baking at night. The beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, pack and play, high chair, etc. made our family trip SO easy and wonderful. Those items and the large space for our young family made the condo - as opposed to a hotel - the much better option!
Tip: Have one person in your party park at the free lot (only 10 spaces) by Sheraton early in the morning with all your beach “stuff,” coolers, etc. in the car. Then have your whole party walk together to the beach (stop by the car on the way for your beach gear) later in the morning. There is a pathway to the beach right by the lot. We walked through the golf course (even though you’re not supposed to) because the other route was way too long and roundabout with kids after doing it the first time. We headed to the beach each morning around 9 and there weren’t golfers on the hole yet since it’s the end of the course. It’s about a 10 minute walk at most but was really easy even with kids. Then we just drove back each afternoon and didn’t need to worry about the golf course or walking with beach gear!

My family and I decided we needed a getaway this Summer, and this location in Maui was perfect! The unit overlooks looks the Ka'Annapali Resort Golf Course, and it's across the street from Whaler's Village Shopping Center, which has easy access to the beach. The unit was a short drive to Front Street, and close to other popular beaches. The community pool was clean for the most part and had grills onsite. There is a deck located off the master bedroom on the 2nd floor where we watched the sunrise most mornings. Our only concern were the wasp nests, which were located outside of most of the decks. I brought it to the attention of the management office. The unit is located in a very quiet part of the complex, and I would definitely book this again.

We found the property to be exactly as advertised. 2 bedrooms both with en-suite (full) bathrooms: one king/one queen. Both had private lanais but there was a much larger lanai off the living room.
Monty was very pro-active in providing instructions to us and quick to respond to any questions we had. We did receive conflicting information about crossing the golf course to get to Whalers Village/Kaanapali beach. Posted signs say "no" which would mean a long walk around. (If you do cross, be respectful to the golfers.)
We found lots of beach and pool toys (4+ beach chairs, floaties, noodles, a wagon, tennis racquets, boogie boards, etc.) which was great! Beach/pool towels were large and plush.
Having a kitchen was ideal because there were long waits at restaurants and there are grocery stores within a couple of miles either north or south. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer in the condo so you can pack a little lighter.
There is a fold-up bed for additional sleeping arrangements.

We stayed for one week with our 2 yr old and the grandparents. We had never been to Maui and didn’t know quite what to expect, but we were very pleased with both the condo and the Ka’Anapali area. There was plenty of space in the condo and great accessories in the kitchen as well as beach gear. The beach and boardwalk were a close walk and we went there multiple times per day. The pool was really nice, don’t miss the yummy fruit from the tree :) Monty was very helpful, including when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Definitely plan on staying here again!

This was our first trip to the island of Maui. Other family members were staying at a resort near the beach. It was going to be expensive, so we decided to look at options. We decided to look at properties and saw this Condo on VRBO. It would be half the cost. Two bedrooms, and a full kitchen plus a living room with a sofa bed. Pictures of the place made it look enticing. We decided to reserve it. Monty the property manager made himself available and the owner , Jeanne, communicated with us. Place turned out to be a gem. Quiet, and easy access to the beach. We visited our family who stayed at resort and were not envious. They had smaller rooms, and no kitchen. The only positive thing I saw was they were closer to the beach than us, but we visited other beaches on island. We definitely will look up at this place again if we visit. My son left his snorkel and fins behind as a donation. Great 👍🏽 place!!

The spacious condo had everything we needed. We loved eating meals on the lanai. The owners have beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels etc for your use. They left a binder of recommendations and the one about beach parking near the Sheraton was key. We do want to note that the listing is not entirely accurate. The downstairs bed is not a king bed as advertised. It is a queen. There are no futons in either bedroom, again, not as advertised. The overview mentions a cot, a sleep sofa and a queen air mattress (doesn’t mention futons). There is a cot and a sleep sofa but no air mattress. I think the bedroom descriptions should be updated to be accurate. Also, it is not really “steps” from the beach. More like a 10 minute walk to the beach. Definitely doable, but not with chairs. I would suggest updating that part of the description as well. We drove and parked in the free beach garage next to the Sheraton. Never waited more than a few minutes for a parking space.

Absolutely loved the space! The geckos hanging out on the railing every afternoon was a fun treat. All the beach equipment was well treated...we left some rafts behind ourselves. Would Absolutely stay here again.

Clean and spacious. Had everything we needed and then some. Owners were great to work with and property manager was very communicative.
