BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui’s rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. By booking your stay with us, you accept that Host is not liable for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, electricity, air conditioning or plumbing that is beyond their control. Host is not liable for any loss or damage to Tenants’ personal property caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, or other events beyond their control. This comfortable home is really in an ideal location in my opinion. It’s a 10 minute walk along the golf course to a great beach and Whaler’s village, and only a 10 minute drive to Lahaina. The condo itself was very clean, which was important to me. The beds were comfortable, the decor very cute and fitting for the island setting. The property management team was responsive and a delight to deal with. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend this home to others!

The condo complex is in a great location with an easy walk to the beach and whaler’s village. Even though the complex is old and somewhat dated the property is well maintained and clean. The unit itself hits the mark as it has a great view, it is really clean, and is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen area. Now comes the downside. Please buy some new pillows and some good quality mattresses for the bedrooms. It’s amazing how you can think of every kitchen gadget but then miss the mark on providing a quality sleeping experience. Spend a few extra dollars on some “quality” mattresses and your guests will thank you. Everything else was great and the unit exceeded our expectations.

This was a great location in Kaanapali. So close to Whaler’s Village and the public beach. Beautiful views from the condo. The condo was the perfect size for a family. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The pool was well kept and clean.

Property looked like it needed to be updated soon. Freezer had mold in ice maker. Only one kitchen towel… we used a lot of paper towels! Vents needed to be replaced everywhere. We did call maintenance regarding this. Area was great! Nice walk to Whalers Village. Other than that… had a great time in Maui!! Mahalo!

We had a wonderful stay here, the condo was as described and more. The views and the sunsets were amazing. The lanai was great with the grill and we spent most of our down time out there. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook in and there was plenty of space for 6 adults to stay here comfortably. Would definitely recommend this condo and will definitely book again.

This is a nice clean and roomy property that has a great lanai for eating meals and lounging with an awesome view! The location to golf, the beach and shopping was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prop. The beds were comfortable😊. The only suggestion we would have is that the pillows are at the end of their life and should be replaced. Other than that a great property that we would book again 😊

Gated community, great location. Pretty ocean/sunset view. Close to pool, clean pool and beautiful grounds. Had a very nice time. The kitchen utensils can use some upgrading, but other than that it was a great place!! Loved it! There’s a beach umbrella, chairs and other stuff to to make your trip comfortable.

Good location, great patio, good floor plan. I think the unit is dark and needs to be painted. The kitchen utensils were subpar - we had to repair a pan, the knives were dull, no steamer for veggies, etc. I think the unit was surface cleaned, but it needs a thorough cleaning. The kitchen cabinets need to be wiped down and cleaned, the doors show wear near the knobs, and the electrical switches are dirty. The water and ice maker has mold on it. The furniture is getting long in the tooth. For the expensive price we paid, I expected something more upscale.

Excellent apartment. Two levels. Clean, spacious, everything provided (kitchen, fridge, freezer, crockery, utensils, BBQ, TV, books to read, small surfboards/wakeboards, washer/dryer, cleaning supplies, etc.). Couldn't think of anything we needed that wasn't there. Two balconies. The one off the main level was spectacularly good. Plenty of room, table and chairs, sofas, blinds to provide shade when required. We spent lots of time on the balcony and really enjoyed it. Pool was very close. Excellent location within walking distance of Whaler's Village and beach. Would highly recommend this property. Minor issues (and really these are small issues in what was overall a wonderful experience). 1. Beach is about 10-15 minutes walk away but time would be halved if there was a path across the golf course ("prohibited to walk across course") 2. Paying for parking (to the property management company) when we'd already paid a lot of money to rent the condo was an irritant. Not a huge deal, but build it into the price of the rental! We had a great time in a lovely condo. Thank you.

We had a great time in Maui and really enjoyed the condo. It was just a short walk to the beach and to Whaler’s Village. We snorkeled, sailed with whales, and played in the ocean. It was nice coming back to the condo after long days and not needing to fight for seats in a restaurant. Throughly enjoyed our trip and the condo.

After five hours of trying to get into our room, once we were able to get in our vacation became less stressful and enjoyable. I am still waiting for someone to get back with me on how you will handle the five hours we spent in our car due to not having the gate code and the correct key code to get into the property.

Wonderful experience. I’m a stickler about cleanliness and I was very happy here. Nice and quiet area with ocean and starry sky views from the balconies. Pool was great, and just a short 5 minute drive to the nearest beach. As a caveat, it is on the third floor without an elevator in case you need that.

We were in Maui for our son’s wedding and agreed that L202 was the best condo out of the others we saw, as other family members also stayed at KRR. The view was spectacular, and don’t underestimate how great it is to not have to deal with stairs! Beautiful furnishings, owner extremely easy to deal with, grounds lovely as well!

Property management was great from the time I booked. They put up with my neediness and even changed my vacation time when I needed them to at no additional charge. The home itself was great. Neat, clean and great location. Close to everything, Whaler's Village is right there, as is the beach and convenient stores are right there as well. The house is equipped with beach essentials like chairs a cooler and umbrella which we used everyday as we are beach people. The beds were comfortable which is a big thing for me my family and I slept well. The outdoor area was lovely. The couch out there allowed us all to sit have our coffee out there and stare at the beach (my husband was waiting for a whale sighting :) Best part is when I forgot to pack my daughter's stuffy Otter Pop, they looked for it and is sending back to us at no charge. Maui Properties take good care of their properties and clients.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the condo. There were five of us (two adults and three teens) and we found the place to have plenty of room. The view is absolutely beautiful. We found the complex to be more peaceful than the ocean front resorts. There were times when I had the pool all to myself. It is located close to anything and everything a person could possibly need. This may end up being my first choice when looking for a place to stay next time I am in Maui.

This property was perfect for our boys. It’s very comfortable with attractive furnishings. We loved the lanai living space. The view and landscaping is beautiful. I loved opening the large drapes every morning and seeing the ocean and listening to the birds. The pool and hot tub area are fantastic. We enjoyed night time swimming. The location and parking are very convenient. We don’t ever want to leave.

This review is for H303 at Kaanapali Royal. I would highly recommend this unit to folks. The condo is well furnished, clean, very comfortable and has an outstanding and pleasing view of the ocean and golf course. If you have toddlers, keep in mind, there is a balcony (its on the third floor) and staircase. The team gave us a fully equipped house such as necessary utensils in the kitchen, wifi, washer, dryer, amenities in the bathroom and even extras like beach chairs, ice trays, water activity stuff, etc. Nick and Kelly were accessible via phone and sms and checked in on us to see if everything was okay. Another plus point is the location, it is walkable to the beach, coffee shops and whalers village.

Absolutely wonderful. We felt like we were in a home, not a rental unit. Great views and there wasn't anything lacking in the unit. Fully equipped kitchen, nice furnishings even boogie boards to take to the beach. We will request the same unit every time we come back. We had one very minor issue that was dealt with quickly and professionally. The communication with us was excellent.

It was a perfect location from the wedding we were attending at Olowalu Plantation. The home was spacious, clean, quiet, and beautiful. The location was walking distance to Ka'anapali Beach and a short drive to Baby Beach for the kids. Checkin & Checkout were a breeze. We enjoyed the pool area for night swims, BBQ'd on the lanai, enjoyed sunrise/sunsets on the gorgeous lanai. We loved it here!! We would love to stay here again on our future trips to Maui.

We spent three weeks in this condo in May. As always, the Kaanapali Royal is a great complex to stay in. Nice pool and a 10 minute walk to Whalers Village and Kaanapali Beach. The complex is very well maintained, quiet and relaxing. Lots to see and do within walking distance. We have stayed in many different condos in this complex. This particular one fell a little short of our expectations. Supplies were limited (towels, sheets, utensils). We did contact the rental agency and more towels and appropriate bed linens were provided. There were 4 beach towels and 4 beach chairs. We did leave behind 2 Tommy Bahamas beach umbrellas for future guests. We also purchased 4 new pillows. The King size mattress was replaced during our stay. So, needless to say, next guys in should have some pretty decent stuff to use. Appliances are old but still in pretty good working order. Everything in the condo seemed to work okay and the cleanliness was passable. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday. We would definitely stay at the Kaanapali Royal again but I don't think we would choose this condo.
