This property was as close to perfect as we could have hoped for. The location on the ground level allowwd for easy access to the beach and reataurants . It was easy to come and go as we pleased. The condo itself was pristine..from the beatiful decor to the comfort of the beds and aminities in the kitchen and baths.This is by far the best condo we've stayed in and will be back! Everything was perfect..check in,amenities,sleep,location,as well as the resort itself. We kept waiting for the "catch" and there wasn't one!

We had a great 9 night stay at the Ka'anapali Alli. Our group was surfing, whale watching, golfing, horseback riding, snorkeling, relaxing on the beach, barbecuing and just enjoying the weather and area. We have been to the area many times and never a bad time.

This was exactly like it was described in the listing except it was actually bigger and better. I didn’t realize there were 2 separate bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms. Most places list the pull-out couch as a bedroom. We didn’t need to contact the host during our stay because everything was perfect. This is a beautiful, spacious, clean condo with everything we needed. You walk out on to the lanai and are in the most perfect garden courtyard, so close to the pool and beach. The pool area is beautiful, grill area clean and well laid out. The grounds are immaculate, so well taken care of. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping. This unit and the whole Kaanapali Alii is everything you imagine when you dream of a Hawaiian vacation. We will be back, soon I hope!

We had a wonderful stay at the Alii. The condo was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and quiet. The location was excellent for spending the day on the beach, snorkeling at Black Rock, and visiting shops and restaurants in Whaler’s Village. Maggie and Mark were gracious and responsive hosts. I highly recommend their condo for a family Maui vacation!

Being our first time to the island, not knowing what to expect. So glad we choose this location. We did rent a car, but if you are not an explorer you could easily walk to a different restaurant, everyday. Beds are very comfortable. The beach never seemedcrowded. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed beautiful views of the mountain and the ocean from the deck. We had a very family relaxing vacation and were able to enjoy all of western Maui from this centrally located condo. Great snorkeling sites and tasty restaurants are in walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay in this unit. The view was much better than expected. Whether you are sitting on the couch, standing at the sink, or sipping coffee on the lanai you can enjoy a direct view of the ocean and palm trees. The kitchen was stocked.

As described. Great location in Ka'anapali and very equipped condo with beach chairs, cooler, and comfortable accommodations. Multiple steps in the unit not as accessible for differently-abled visitors, but roomy enough for those who plan ahead. Carpet could be cleaned from general space and removed from master bath, but no other complaints or concerns! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The unit is lovely. However, it is listed as a 2 bedroom and it is not. It is a 1 bedroom with a den that is converted with a bed. Don’t get me wrong, it is nice. But there are no windows in the second bedroom and there is a very NON-Soundproof sliding door that separates it from the main living room/tv room and kitchen. There is no privacy. A true 2 bedroom floor plan is much larger with 2 actual bedrooms. You will pay as much for this unit as you will for a true 2 bedroom. Fine if it’s a family with kids and the noise/privacy isn’t an issue (but you could get the same layout for much less ) but for 4 adults, 2 couples, this is not equitable arrangements and can be awkward.

Bonnie was excellent answering questions at the time of booking and called me direct to talk to me. So helpful. Watching whales from the lanai while drinking coffee in the mornings was amazing. Our family had an amazing vacation at this property. The property was very clean and was exactly as described in the listing. This property location is wonderful if you are looking to have an amazing resort feel while being able to walk to many different restaurants along the boardwalk. The property is also within walking distance of the outdoor shopping area, Whalers Village. The beach in front of the property is one of the best. There is plenty of sandy beach to hang out on as well as some of the best ocean waves for surfing. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Enjoyed our stay in the Kaanapali area but this unit probably needs some updating. Had an odd, musty smell coming from the laundry area, furniture (especially master bedroom) was all very old, carpets were old, etc. Lots of potential being in this area but needing some TLC.

PRO: 1) very short walk to beach, pool and whalers village. 2)Kitchen with plenty of cookware, utensils. 3) nice bathrooms and kitchen.4) plenty of close parking5) plenty of pool/beach towels at pool service area.CONS: 1) furniture of dining room and living room unfit for use. falling apart and not worthy of a million dollar condo. A fraternity house would turn them down. If you cover with towels maybe ok to sit on. Gross. unable to gather in dining room/living room with family all week. Hate to be a snob but if I were able to post the photos of cracked, broken and sticky sitting surfaces you would agree.2) not sure why people who rent their condos leave you 3 remotes for the main living room TV and think that just anyone can turn it on for easy viewing. No instructions available. Unable to get TV to work and use. Even had a teenager and two Gen Z twenty somethings unable to use the living room TV. Have had several VRBOs in past with same problem. If you were to call maintenance then it is fine if you just don't ever turn it off .3) Bring or rent your own chairs/umbrella to beach as not enough rental ones --we were there after Christmas so it may not always be that way. Rental company left us 4 very nice chairs but they knew we were a family of five so we had to get another if we all wanted a chair.4) ALL the interior doors of bathrooms and bedrooms were louvered--sounds traveled like no door at all. This was a great property at an excellent location. Loved everything about this unit, except for the bed. I like more of a firm mattress and this one was just too soft for me even after removing the mattress topper; however, I'm sure it would be ideal for those who like soft mattresses. Aside from that, our stay there was excellent. The views are amazing from the unit and the property was very clean and also very quiet. The location of the beach couldn't have been better. The host was also wonderful and very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Kaanapali Alii Resort again!

We were in Maui for a wedding. 30 family members all staying at different locations on the Kaanapali side. Our condo ended up being where we all gathered. Although the description is inner courtyard, we were able to watch the kids surf from our lanai. The entire condo was comfortable for all 7 of us. We would come back for sure!!!

We always enjoy our stay at the Kaanapali Alii. We have never stayed in this unit, but it ranked up there with all the rest of them that we’ve stayed in. Clean, location is great. Pool area is nice. The beach is great. I love how they offer beach chairs that makes it much better sitting in the sand all day. We will be back!

Close to whalers and the snorkeling in front was amazing. The unit itself is missleading online. It’s very dark and old. The cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms were dirty. Molding falling off in the kitchen. Washer drain smelled of horrible mildew, had to keep the door shut our entire stay. Bathroom in den has no privacy at all. Doors have slots so you can hear everything. The sink didn’t drain well if you left it on for 5 seconds or more. It had some updates and wasn’t horrible but we wouldn’t stay there again. Maybe a different unit.. both TV’s in both bedrooms did not work.. we usually stay at the Maui Eldorado which is known for being older and it felt older than that.and dirty.

Bonnie was outstanding from the start of the process. Very communicative, responsive and overall easy to work with. The condo was so clean and quiet and much more spacious than we expected. Location was great. The only thing we did not know was that the pool view from the pictures are not Kaanapali Alii. A little disappointed about the pool, but over all was a great trip. We had many great shows from the Luau from the balcony. Pretty great! The owners were great to communicate with and had no issues with that. The garbage disposal decided not to drain and the sink backed up at one point, however, one of the ladies in our group fixed it. Great trip

Really. Great stay the only thing was that we couldn’t watch TV someone before us messed it up and I had to call the owner but it never got fixed not a big problem since they have TV’s at the pool. The Confo was clean and easy to find I would just say it is a little outdated but we would definitely stay in it again
