The unit was spacious for our group of seven people, and had a nice view over the gardens and ocean.
We had trouble with a couple of the appliances but the manager was very helpful.
There were some dishes missing, in particular there were only 2 small plates, and not many wineglasses.

This resort is among the finest we have stayed at. The individual unit was very comfortable ans well maintained.
The resort is phenomenal. Ritz Carlton level of customer service. Property was meticulously maintained. Beach towels provided were plush. Deee beach chairs. Close to everything.

Kaanapalli alli was a great property right on the beach which is large and beautiful. This condo was very nice with everything we could need. Property owners and on island property manager were very easy to deal with and very helpful. We had a family vacation and we were very happy with everything at the alli. Great services - beach chairs - pool was great !

This was our second time renting from this property owner. In 2015, we stayed in one of their other properties at the Alii. We prefer this particular one because of the view from the lanai, but you really can't go wrong with either. The condo has everything you need and it is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We look forward to our next stay here.

This is our second time staying at this wonderful condo. The first time was with another couple and this time we brought our 2 kids and parents with. The condo fit all 6 of us comfortably, it was perfect! The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. There is a beautiful view from the lanai overlooking the grounds, pool, and ocean. Kaanapali Alii is also amazing! We love this resort, it is not over crowded and the property is beautifully maintained. Everything about our stay was perfect. I should also add that Brittany and Katie are a pleasure to communicate with, thank you both. We absolutely love this place, we can't wait to go back!!

Would highly recommend this property. The hostesses take great pride in their property so that the guests feel right at home. Decorated beautifully. Prime location as it is right in the middle of Kaanapali beach area. Already planning my next stay here. Highly recommended.

With a family of 5 adults we needed more space so we stayed at this wonderful 3 bedroom unit at the Alii. The location on Kaanapali Beach is perfect, the best beach on Maui, walking distance to Whaler's Village for shopping and dining, and grocery stores within 10 minutes for when you want to eat on the Lanai an watch the sunset. We would barbecue some nights and bring our food up to the lanai to watch the sunset or stay and enjoy the evening pool side. The staff of the Alii were pleasant and always helpful when we needed something.. While we spent our time at the beach, the pool and hot tub were both busy during our stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed, and the washer and dryer was great to have in our unit.. Can't wait to go back!

The location of the Kaanapalii Alii is great. Centrally located on the beach so walking to Black Rock and Whalers Village was easy. The condo was as represented. Perfect for our group of 7. Adults each had a room and one for the kids. Kitchen was well stocked. Many beach toys for the kids to enjoy. We added to the toys by leaving a couple of noodles. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time in Maui. 10/10 would recommend to anyone to stay here the place was perfect we had our 7 month old with us and the place had everything we needed and more! Nice quiet not crowded place to stay centrally located on the ocean walk path. It was clean it was comfortable nice beds nice ac beautiful rooms and great view!

This is a great property just as described. Great location, walking distance to Whalers Village for restaurants and shopping which was nice because we didn’t rent a car. We did Uber a few times which was convenient and readily available. Vicki was very kind in offering us a later check out as the unit was not being cleaned that day. Overall, a great trip and would definitely stay here again!

We loved this condo and would definitely go back again. The Layout of the condo was perfect for our family of 8. The kitchen was great as well and we used it quite often for many of the restaurants were crowded and had long waits over Thanksgiving week.
The only very minor downside I would say is that we had to purchase toilet paper, tissues and paper towels and some bath soap for there was very little that they offered.

I took my two adult children, their spouses, and my two young grandchildren (ages 2 and 4) to Maui to celebrate my retirement.
The condo layout was perfect for family time (spacious, full kitchen, and privacy when it was time for sleep or to put the kids down for a nap.). We appreciated the black-out drapes to allow the children to sleep during the day.
Great location to meet up for snorkeling excursions and walking distance to restaurants and Whalers Village.
We enjoyed the beach, and pools everyday, a d appreciated the children’s pool for the little ones.

Great views of gardens and the ocean, easy access to the pool and beach/path and parking garage, great layout with master and guest room separated by the common area - and a den bedroom suitable for an extra, pretty well stocked kitchen (more dishes and some wine glasses would be nice, and better organized for access for cooking), comfortable sofa (does need a new chair or seat cushion at least) for tv watching, large and nice bathrooms (bring your shampoo, lotion and body wash), and super comfortable beds, all make for a fantastic vacation property we will definitely return to.

We’ve been vacationing with our family almost annually at the Kaanapali Alii for about 15 years. This unit was in a great location within the complex but was disappointing in many ways. The primary problem was the owner’s bed. It had two areas where it was sagging and was extremely lumpy. Our backs and necks were painful during our stay which made it more difficult to enjoy our vacation. We were also disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. There was hair clogging the outside of the drain to the shower, dried food on the reportedly clean plates and utensils, spots on the ceiling in the living room just before entering the second bedroom (smelled like mold), as well as red streaking on the owner’s bedroom door next to the handle (blood?). The nonstick surface on the frying pan was in poor condition and the can opener had areas that appeared uncleaned and was very difficult to use (it only partially opened the can we tried to open and we had to pry the lid open with it’s sharp edges). Both of these kitchen items, in my opinion, should be replaced. It was disappointing these concerns weren’t discovered before our stay. We were offered a mid stay cleaning but we declined because we took care of the cleaning issues ourselves the first day we moved in and didn’t feel the mid stay cleaning would be able to address our other concerns. We love staying at the Kaanapali Alii but staying in this unit was had it’s disappointments. I’m usually very disappointed when our vacation at the Kaanapali Alii comes to an end but this time my back felt otherwise.
