This condo is well equipped and a beautiful space with plenty of storage, so easy to keep clean and uncluttered. The view is wonderful. We stayed 10 days and loved being there.we highly recommend this condo for a wonderful stay in Kaanapali

This lovely condo is in a perfect location with beach views and easy access to Whaler Village. The kitchen was well equipped as was the bathroom. The condo is very spacious which turned out to be great because, as luck would have it, we were there when the Kona low hit all of Hawaii with torrential rain and winds causing major road damage and flooding. Julie and her property manager were very helpful communicating almost daily to make sure all was well. Although we found the rechargeable lanterns, Julie sent her property manager by to also make sure the power bank was charged and to move patio furniture to avoid damage. Due to the storm, we were stuck in the condo for the majority of 4 days. If we had been in a smaller unit we might have gone crazy, but Julie's condo is so spacious we felt comfortable as we watched the weather from large sliders in both the living and bedroom (ocean views from both). The balcony is also large so we enjoyed it and watched the whales and weather before and after the storm. She also provided lots of games and beach stuff. We had plans to use the snorkel equipment, but due to the storm we had to cancel that as well as our whale watching trip. Because the condo also overlooks Whaler's Village there will be some noise but it is so convenient to walk everywhere and the views are spectacular. The beach is long and clean and beautiful. You will enjoy a stay here and Julie is an awesome hostess!

We had a wonderful time. Unit was clean upon arrival and stocked with everything we needed including kids sand toys and extra beach chairs. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. Living room had a Murphy bed which we didn’t use but there was a pack and play available for our little one. Cindy was quick to communicate and check in and out were super easy. We loved being on the ground floor it made going to the pool and beach a breeze. Looking forward to our next visit thank you Cindy!

We have stayed at The Whaler over 30 times and we adored this room. On the sunny side of tower 1 it has an incredible view. The room was recently remodeled and the decor is beautiful. Much thought went into the remodel making sure there is plenty of storage, supplies, and outlets. I love the showers with shelves for your shampoo and other supplies, a seat, as well as, a towel bar on the outside of the door that swings in. I can't say enough good things about this unit! We hope to stay again!

Wonderful location. Condo had a lot of space. Beds and pillows however felt like they were picked up from a free bin at goodwill unfortunately. Also the courtyard pictures are not the view from the lanai. However I would not cross this condo off your list. Whalers village is worth being close too. Also one more note the beach here is lovely but when there are waves the beach is too steep for waves you can body surf or boogie board on. That being said we had a wonderful vacation!

The view cannot be beat anywhere on the island. The view is why you come here and it did not disappoint! The unit was bigger than it looked online so that was also plus. Yes, it is very dated, but I knew that by the reviews and photos. However, there definitely needs to be some improvements made. For example, the plumbing is so bad that you can twist the water knobs all around. The gas stove burner only had one temperature which was all the way on. The hairdryers had to be from the 1980's and I was afraid it might catch on fire. It wouldn't take much to replace those.

This is a nice top floor apartment with views of both the mountains and the ocean, specifically BlackRock beach. Wonderful views and the Whaler resort is our favorite as it has amazing beach and snorkeling at Black Rock with quick access to the Whalers Village Mall and all of its shops, restaurants, and most importantly the ABC store. That makes getting stuff you need easy. Would definitely stay again.

This condo has been beautifully remodeled and very nicely furnished. The rental process at the Whaler was easy. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning and having the unit ready for us. There is a great view of the beach and ocean from a large lanai. The host is very personable and responsive to any inquiries. We would definitely return!

This was our first trip to Maui and this place added to a wonderful experience. Upon checking in, I was not aware the reservation would be under the owners name so just a heads up. The room was very welcoming with soft ambient lights and Hawaiian music playing on the TV screen as we walked inside. The condo was fully stocked with bedding, functioning kitchen appliances, games for the kids, and as noted, an owners locker in the Lower Level. I’m assuming the previous renters did not rinse off the sand from the beach toys , goggles, boards , etc., so it was very sandy and messy. We did our part in rinsing the things we’ve used and placed in neatly back into the locker. The mattress in the bedroom and pullout couch were very comfortable. Even the rollaway bed had a very comfy mattress according to my teenage son. We did utilitize the knives for some light cooking and unfortunately, most of them have severe rust stains. I believe only 2 were okay to use. Otherwise, no other complaints. We absolutely loved the veranda and sat out there many times in the morning drinking coffee, or in the evenings eating dinner while whale watching. We had spectacular views of the ocean and got to witness a high whale activity going on the last couple days. We only used the pool once in the evening and surprisingly, it was heated. The hot tub, however, had a strong chlorine smell and was always full of people. It was a very pleasant stay and would consider staying here again in the future.
