Great location, and stay. The complex is next to the whalers village which is very noisy , specifically in the morning with trucks backing up and compressors and power sprayers, this was very annoying !

The Whaler is in a great location on Kaanapali Beach. This unit is really nice. Great views of the ocean and the sun setting behind Lanai. Everything was very clean and well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfection! Spectacular view, incredibly comfortable furniture in living room and bedroom mattress. Everything you could possibly need for an amazing stay. Check in was super easy. We just returned from a fabulous girls getaway and George's condo was perfect all around. The location is stellar with walking access to all the amenities at Wharfers Village - an ABC market, lots of eateries and restaurants and a beautiful beach. The condo itself was very comfortable with lots of room for the three of us and we enjoyed being able to have snacks and breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the ocean. We'll definitely be back!

Lori was an exceptional host. Helpful in answering questions both before and during our stay. The home's beauty is only surpassed by the beautiful Hawaiian people. This unit has EXCELLENT views and was well equipped. . Owner/host was quick to respond to emails. We would definitely stay again, but would hope for a bit of updating to the unit. The downside was peeling wallpaper, rusted front of refrigerator and the need for new drapes.

This is a great unit with an amazing view. The view of Black Rock was awesome to look at every time we looked outside. The easy access to the beachfront walkway was very nice. The pool area was very nice. Many great restaurants within easy walking distance. Starbucks at the Westin was less than a 5 minutes walk. Overall this is an amazing unit and we would definitely return in the future.

I have been to this resort many times and this was the first time I have ever had a problem checking in - A big shout out to Mike working the front desk to help come to bottom of things as I had confirmation as well as confirmation my room was ready when in fact the host had not relied any information to front desk and has someone else coming in a few days later for this room- The stars for for Mike not this room- It was filtly - Floors are stained, wall paper falling off the wall - I will not reccommend this room nor this host to anyone - I will be back to The Whalers as it is a great resort

Stayed at this during New Years week 2025/2026.I am familiar with The Whaler having stayed there many times. The property is located right next door to Whaler Village for shopping, dining etc. This unit is in a great spot with balcony views of beach/ocean, Black Rock and pool. Unit is spacious which includes a roll away. The place was clean and had everything needed. Water toys, beach chairs and umbrellas were in the unit along with kitchen/laundry items. The laundry room is literally right next door if you needed it so very convenient. I would definitely book this place again next time I travel to Maui.

Condo 102 is a beautiful condo which looks out directly on the ocean and the amazing beach! It is the perfect condo for a family with small children and senior citizens, which our party had both. Very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. If you ever rent this condo you definitely won’t be disappointed. The host was very good with staying in touch with us and was available anytime we needed anything. We look forward to returning again in the future!
