The host had welcoming gifts waiting for us which were much appreciated. (We arrived during an electricity blackout, and the gifts, including cookies which were our dinner that night, came in handy.) The host kept in touch with us regarding future blackouts through e-mail throughout our stay. They were very kind.

Hosts and concierge desk are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Was a little surprised not having towels changed or room made up during our stay (last time someone came on our 4th day), but didn’t really need it anyways since we had 4 bath towels.Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo! We had a great stay in this beautifully appointed condo. Of particular enjoyment: watching the whales from the balcony; great check-in experience; walking to so many shops & restaurants. This is our second stay in this studio unit – once again it was an awesome 3 weeks. We hope to stay again. The location on the third floor facing the courtyard is just ideal. We were able to use the stairs but yet it’s high enough to provide a wonderful view. We ate all of our meals out on the lanai while watching the whales and enjoyed many wonderful sunsets as well. The bed and new sofa were very comfortable. We love staying at The Whaler and this unit is a well-managed property and overall just made us feel very welcome and at home. Communication with the owner has always been very good. Thank you for sharing your home – much appreciated!

The unit is well appointed and the complex is in the center of Kaanapali. Working with the owners was a breeze. It was a joy having coffee on the lanai every morning listening to the bird's morning song. I loved to converted pickleball courts and was able to pick up a game a couple times.I plan to return to this unit the next time I visit Maui.

The host is always great! The condo is comfortable and has all the things you need. They have made some changes which were nicely received and the condo was definitely cleaner and smelled better than last time we stayed. Great to always be back!

Great condo. Incredible views. Somewhat dated decor but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed whale-watching from the lanai, as well as the sunsets over Lanai. Kitchen had everything we needed, including 2 coffee grinders. Easy access via beach side stairs or mid-building elevators (3). Parking underground or in rear outdoor lot that is paid for as part of the 35/day resort fee. Great beach for swimming. Beach towels included. Condo has a boogie board and beach chairs, cooler, 3 sets of medium size swim fins - 1 mask snorkel. Surfboard rentals down next to the beach. We opened the sliders and the 4th floor condo catches the trade winds so we had no need for the aircon.

Well stocked condo and appreciated the stocked spice rack. Snorkels, fins, beach chairs, etc a plus. Loved that beach/lounge chairs available at the beach for our use.

We just returned from a fabulous girls getaway and George's condo was perfect all around. The location is stellar with walking access to all the amenities at Wharfers Village - an ABC market, lots of eateries and restaurants and a beautiful beach. The condo itself was very comfortable with lots of room for the three of us and we enjoyed being able to have snacks and breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the ocean. We'll definitely be back!

This unit has EXCELLENT views and was well equipped. . Owner/host was quick to respond to emails. We would definitely stay again, but would hope for a bit of updating to the unit. The downside was peeling wallpaper, rusted front of refrigerator and the need for new drapes.

This is a great unit with an amazing view. The view of Black Rock was awesome to look at every time we looked outside. The easy access to the beachfront walkway was very nice. The pool area was very nice. Many great restaurants within easy walking distance. Starbucks at the Westin was less than a 5 minutes walk. Overall this is an amazing unit and we would definitely return in the future.
