Everything was just perfect! Our family would come back there in a second. I highly recommend this unit. The owner has thought of everything. Beautifully decorated, well-equipped kitchen, great views, comfortable beds, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, coolers, right down to board games, post it notes, and plastic bags for keeping things fresh. There is also a large parking garage beneath this tower, so one elevator ride makes grocery shopping and getting on the Road to Hanna a breeze. Just like home but better because you’re in beautiful Maui on a well manicured resort, with great restaurants, high-end shopping, a beautiful pool, and of course a beautiful beach to watch the perfect sunsets! Wonderful vacation spot!

The condo was perfect, just as described with lots of extra amenities. We used the water and beach toys, games and snorkel equipment. The staff at the Whaler was very gracious.

My review is about the host, Keith, as I cannot comment on the condo itself. My family and I landed in Maui in the evening of the Lahaina fires. As soon as we landed we learned that we could not get to Ka’anapali because of the fires which at the time were causing road closures. Not only was Keith in communication with us the minute we landed, but he went out of his way to ensure that our family of 6 found safe shelter. He even went to the length of posting an sos on Facebook, leading us to find an incredibly kind family that took us into their business for the night and then eventually connected us to someone for a rental. From the start Keith communicated that we would get reimbursed and really seemed to care more about our safety than insuring his money for the rental. So while I cannot comment on the condo itself, if you are looking for a reliable host that you can count on for being a good human being, Keith is your guy. Thanks again Keith for keeping our family safe!

Wow! What a great property! It was the perfect location to easily hop over to Whalers Village for restaurants, Black Rock for snorkeling and cliff jumping, and quick hop over to Lahaina! The unit was spacious and had everything we needed and then some! Keith was very responsive and had great communication with tips prior to arrival that were very helpful! There was beach gear there that we put to great use and limited what we had to rent or buy. I wish we could have stayed longer! My only complaint! :)

Excellent location on Kaanapali Beach, surrounded by nothing but beauty! This unit was perfect for our family. Comfortably furnished 2 bedroom 2 bath, w/fully equipped kitchen, + beach chairs, wagon, cooler, toys & snorkeling gear. Didn’t want for anything. Host Keith was very personable & the best communicator! Thank you also Keith for the large welcome basket w/tons of variety, that was delivered the day after checkin. This is our 8th trip to Maui, & we’d love to rent this unit yearly. Everything from the Unit, the Staff, the Host, the Setting. Etc was all nothing but positive.

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo! It was spacious, updated, comfortable, well appointed, loved the beach gear- plenty of it and great condition, and the lanai views were spectacular! We loved the grounds, pool, hot tub and proximity to black rock and restaurants. We will be back!!!!! This property was all that we expected, plus more! We instantly felt like we were home away from home. All of the necessities and comforts of home right at our fingertips. This condo and layout was perfect for our family of 6. We loved having the full kitchen, separate rooms and bathrooms, and extra space to lounge around after a day in the sun and sand. Our 4 boys made great use of the sand toys and boogie boards and my husband and I made good use of the chairs and umbrellas😉 It was so great to have all those fun extras readily available. We also must mention the relaxing and spacious lanai! We spent our mornings, and ate most many of our meals out there which was an amazing and memorable experience and made for fun and beautiful photos. Last but not least, the location can not be matched! We loved being close to everything including restaurants and shops in the Whalers Village, and Black Rock which was fun for the boys to snorkel and jump off the rocks. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay, I only wish we didn’t have to leave! We will be back! Thank you for an amazing place to stay, Keith. We appreciate you sharing your slice of paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at #573. The Whaler is ideally situated, close to shopping and restaurants as well the great snorkeling at Black Rock. This particular unit is one of the nicest that we’ve rented. It is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home, including a wonderful wrap around terrace for early morning coffee, great living room seating with a large screen TV for relaxing after dinner, a washer/dryer unit, and a kitchen with all the necessary equipment. We hope to come back to this specific condo again at some point in the future.

Aloha Keith! The condo was beautiful, perfect for the for the four of us and everyone at the Whaler was very friendly and accommodating. We took your suggestions and had groceries delivered. We used Uber were ever we wanted to go and we had Linda drive us both ways from the airport. We had a very adventurous week with plenty of beach time and ended our week with a sunset cruise. We will definitely be back! Maui is beautiful! Mahalo nui loi!

This property is as stated In VRBO! Beautiful and the amenities are great! Great location to restaurants and stores as well. Be sure and head to the beach at sunset to see the gorgeous sunsets! Spectacular to say the least!

This home was a great base for our family vacation. The rooms were large, kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal, everything worked. Beautiful property, 24 hour service at the front desk for towels, etc. Great views from the wrap around porch and you are literally steps from the beach and all the shops and restaurants at the Whaler Village, which is an upscale outdoor mall. The owner even provided a wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. We really only left the area for dinner reservations (reservations on Kaanapli book up fast!) and our bike ride down Mt. Haleakala. Everything else we could do within 100 yards of the condo (including jet skis and snorkel tours, etc).
Our only complaint was the beds. They were really soft and squishy and you literally sank into them. No support whatsoever. If you have back problems, this is not the place for you. My two very athletic teenage boys were even complaining. Ditching the pillows and sleeping sideways seemed to help a little. But other than the beds, we had a lovely vacation at this condo.

We planned a trip for our mom's 75th birthday. It wound up being a family reunion of sorts after 2 years of dealing with Covid. I stayed with my mom, my sister and her husband and 4 kids (3 teenage boys and one pre-teen!). We easily fit in the condo with plenty of space to spread out! The condo was clean and comfortable. The view was spectacular! This was an end condo unit so the lanai wrapped around the condo from the East side of the building near the living room and went all the way down the length of the condo to the second bedroom! It was amazing. There were chairs, umbrellas, a wagon and plenty of snorkel gear for us all to use which was amazing to not have to either travel with this stuff or buy it ourselves!
The condo is right next to Whaler's Village which made it convenient for shopping or eating any time. It was also a short drive to Lahaina for lots more shopping and eating.
The only minor inconvenience was that there were no sheets for the pull out beds upon our arrival, but Keith rectified it IMMEDIATELY and went above and beyond to give us a gift card for food at a local restaurant. Keith was wonderful at communicating throughout the rental process. I would be THRILLED to stay here again if I come again with such a large group.
Overall, a 100% amazing stay. Thank you, Keith. My mom was thrilled to be with all her kids/grandkids.

Right from the word go, our family of 5 (My wife, 3 kids ... university age young adults, and I) had an exceptional stay at Keith's condo during the Christmas break.
Keith was great to deal with and responded to all inquires right away. The condo is very spacious and comfortable and everything you need can be found in the condo (Beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear... etc, too much to list).
The location is second to none with shopping and restaurants right next door and the beach only a few steps away from the unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this unit for any interested visitors. I will be planning my next visit to Maui with Keith's unit at the very top of the list for lodging (as long as it is not already ready pre booked!)

My husband and I rented Keith’s condo for 5 glorious days for our 20th anniversary. Couldn’t asked for a more perfect location, place and experience. The condo accommodated 3 teenagers and 2 adults easily. No need to bring everything as the condo is fully stocked. It is situated close enough to walk to shops, starbucks and stores. We will definitely be back!

We planned our trip to Maui over a year ago and chose Keith’s Condo at The Whaler for my daughter, her husband and our two grandchildren as well as my husband and myself. This was our third stay at The Whaler. This Condo is a spacious and a beautiful property with awesome views and all amenities, There were lots of water “toys” for all ages including our 11 and 13 year olds. There were chairs for the beach and even a canvas wagon to carry it all! We did not expect that and used everything multiple times. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you’d want or need! The condo in was in excellent condition and we never tired of the beautiful wrap around views!

Prior to arrival, Keith was very helpful with questions I had and also let us know pertinent information regarding Covid restrictions and also some restrictions that had lifted. He sent restaurant discounts, helpful hints on making reservations, and also informed us of some construction above us, that would be happening during our stay. It was nice knowing this coming into our trip, so that we didn’t get irritated when a little noise came our way. A kind gesture from him was to give us some spending money beforehand in case things got too loud. We could head down to Whaler Village and have dinner on him. So sweet! Anyhoo, let’s talk living space. This place is freaking outrageous. You walk in to a small entry with a closet full of beach gear, a well stocked kitchen for cooking, but the piz de la resistance was that view!!! I mean come on. It was fabulous. A nice dining area, new couch, new carpet you just want to lay on, and a tv large enough for the guys to watch Formula One or the big game. But seriously, do we come all this way to watch movies? Heck no! Get your buns out to that Lanai!!! I just wanted to stay out there the whole trip. That wrap around porch was ridiculous!! We ate breakfast out there each morning and brought up our BBQ for a few dinners. The condo even has this cool fold out rolling twin that you can pull out there & sleep on, on a cool Hawaiian night. But the king bed in the master is very convincing to never leave your room. The mattress is very comfy and I’m a bit of a bed snob. This was a great one! It was also so incredibly convenient to walk down to the glorious beach & chill and then just walk back up. The washer and dryer in the condo also really came in handy. No stress vacation. We will recommend this amazing space to all of our family and friends headed to the island. Don’t hesitate to book with Keith and make all of your Maui dreams come true!!!!!
