HAWAII REMAINS OPEN TO MAINLAND TRAVEL
Beginning July 8, 2021, fully vaccinated travelers do not need to pre-test for COVID-19 before traveling to Hawaii. Such travelers are required to register at travel.hawaii.gov and upload their vaccination records onto the website. Travelers must also bring their ORIGINAL vaccination cards with them when they travel to Maui.
Non-vaccinated travelers, including children, must continue to obtain a negative COVID tests taken within 72 hours from departure from an approved testing partner to avoid quarantine. Negative test results must be uploaded to the each traveler's profile on the Safe Traveler website BEFORE the departure of the last leg of their flight to Maui. United, American, Hawaiian, Alaska, and other airlines have partnered with various health agencies to offer testing to many of their passengers, so check with your airline for testing options. For further details and requirements of the pre-travel testing program, and to update yourself on latest developments, please see the State of Hawaii's Safe Traveler Program website at travel.hawaii.gov. Guests are solely responsible for complying with all pre-travel testing requirements.
Our enhanced refund policy due to COVID-19 also continues. Within 30 days of arrival on Maui, guests may reschedule, or refunds may be obtained, if a member of the party tests positive for COVID or travel restrictions that prevent guests from traveling to Maui without a quarantine are re-imposed.

The Whaler on Ka'anapali Beach is a world class oceanfront condominium resort located in the heart of world-famous Ka'anapali Resort directly on Ka'anapali Beach. The Whaler offers all the activities and amenities of Maui's premier vacation destination.
Available year round and just steps from the beach, our beautiful air conditioned studio was completely remodeled just a few years ago and is luxuriously decorated for your Hawaii getaway. Our unit number 265 is located on the second floor of the sunny south side of Tower II, and features a modern tropical décor with carved mahogany furniture, coordinating accent furniture, and tropical prints and artwork. Our unit features a king bed with deluxe mattress, high definition flat screen TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, and free broadband and wireless Internet access. Our condo also features a room safe to safely store all your valuables. The dining area features a glass table with seating for four. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops and custom maple cabinets; a dishwasher, range and oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. We provide a coffee maker, blender, and all the equipment needed during your vacation. Also included in the unit are an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and all linens and towels. The Whaler on Kaapanali Beach is a full service condominium resort with a 24-hour front desk, full concierge service, and bell service. It features an oceanfront heated swimming pool where towel service is provided at no charge. The Whaler also has newly renovated spa, resurfaced tennis courts, a Nautilus gym, sauna, salon, and business center. The property is located just across the street from the world famous Kaanapali golf course.
The Whaler has recently completed a major face lift designed to enhance its status as a world-class condominium resort. Improvements include remodeling the lobby, common hallway areas, and oceanfront swimming pool; expanding the spa, modernizing the gym, completely redesigning and installing new landscaping, and redesigning the underground parking garage.
Rates from $265 per night, some seasons are higher. Within 30 days of arrival, last minute discounts may be offered for last minute arrivals or to fill gaps between other reservations; check with owner for discounts. The Whaler charges a Resort Services Fee of $25 per day collected at the resort, which includes underground parking, beach towels and chairs at the beach, use of gym, and all resort amenities.
