This is a wonderful place for our trip to Maui! The condo was immaculate with a fully stocked kitchen to cook meals. There were also beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a cooler to take to the beach. The grounds of the complex are beautiful. I've never stayed in Kihei, and there really is so much to do in the area. Snorkeling, fabulous restaurants, and shopping. I hope to stay here again!

This condo was great for my husband, daughter and I. It was very comfortable and well equipped. We wanted to be oceanfront, but this was a good compromise to get the most things we wanted out of our vacation rental while still being super close to the beach. Comfortable accommodations (king size bed was very comfy novaform mattress, and even the twin Murphy beds were comfortable enough.) The kitchen had everything we needed, including some plastic snap ware which is super handy for packing beach lunches! There were a few minor things that came up and the rental agent Matt promptly replied to my early morning email and came to fix the items while we were out that day. The grounds at Kamaole Sands were well kept and beautiful, and we enjoyed swimming in the pool. The beach towels were a nice bonus, though we usually bring a few of our own, this meant we always had fresh towels. My only suggestion would be that the gray bath towels are swapped for white so they can be bleached between guests. The bath towels had that funky towel smell to them as soon as they get wet.

There was a snafu with the door code that a phone call fixed. And there was also an unexpected 25 daily resort fee. But walk across the street to a nice little beach, then hit the hot tub afterwards and ahh...

Property is in a great location and perfect for two people. Great lanai for drinking coffee or drying your wet items. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Maui. Also, Sunny Maui was a great host. The internet went out when we were there and they came over at night, had to go to the store to get equipment, and brought it back to set up. We really appreciate all of their efforts to ensure we had a great stay.

We loved getting in the pool most nights. The view is amazing from the edge of the grounds. They provided the basics. The rice cooker didn’t work. Most knives were not useful. There were many but many several didn’t work. The sleeper sofa in the dining room needs to be replaced. The springs were falling off. It was so uncomfortable my kids slept on the floor instead. AC was lacking. Nights were not comfortable due to the heat. Doors in bedrooms had to be opened in order to get cold air in. The dining room AC worked well and kept the living and dining area cool. The park next to grounds was easily accessible. The beach near grounds was rocky and not swim friendly. The locks were not working properly in master bedroom and hallway bathroom. 2 were replaced and one still didn’t lock. When you are traveling with children you want the master bedroom to lock. The hallway bathroom and the guest bathroom didn’t lock. I only complained about two of them so only 2 were replaced. I later informed them that the guest bedroom didnt lock. They told me that this was not usually a problem for guests. I have a daughter that wanted to change in the bedroom and couldn’t change in there. The hallway bathroom didn’t lock either so she couldn’t change there as well. Locks are important.

The condo is in a really great location for beach access and close to the pool area and barbeque grills. The property grounds are beautifully manicured as well. The condo is very nice and had everything we needed. Having 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer was an added bonus. There were also beach chairs and a cooler for your use. We felt very comfortable staying there. The location is close to shopping, grocery stores and the beach parks. It is a few miles to Wailea Mall and nice restaurants. We visit Maui twice a year and always enjoy staying at Kamaole Sands Resort.

We had a last minute booking due to unforeseen issue at our original booking. We booked in the evening and received prompt messages and replies to get us in. They even checked in to make sure that everything was perfect when they hadn't had anyone in the unit a couple days prior. Renting through PMI Maui was easy. The pictures and description of the condo were right on. Having a keypad meant one less key to worry about. Assigned parking as well as a designated car wash area. Easy access to Kamaole Beach Park III. Walking distance to several places to eat. Great location, short drive north to Lahania or south to Wailea. We loved the fish at Paia Fish Market South Side and the food trucks near there especially Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill. Although we did not use the pool or the BBQ grills, many people did. There is a Foodland grocery store nearby as well as an ABC store for some grab-and-go items. We look forward to coming bak soon!!

We enjoyed our stay in Kihei and this condo had a prime location with easy access to some of the best beaches. Easy drive into both Kihei and Wailea for restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed having access to the beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. Also having in unit washer & dryer was super valuable to us. Our only issue was a lack of hot water-there wasn’t enough hot water to last one person a 10 minute shower. Host was very responsive. While check in ended up being easy, it wasn’t super clear to us that we had to stop at the Kamaole Sands concierge desk before heading to the unit.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated having the beach towels, chairs and boogie boards available. One thing that could be improved was the check in process with the property. We stopped in after a long travel day to pay the AOA fee and the process took almost an hour (which included waiting in line). I understand we may have just hit it at a bad time, but all of the check in details (and even payment) could have been collected electronically. I know this has nothing to do with the owner (and is specific to how the property does business) and we will absolutely recommend this spot to friends and family!

The unit is absolutely as advertised. There were a couple minor things, that would not detract from a five star rating, but it feel are worth noting.While the couch and chairs on the deck were very comfortable, I would much rather have had a table and chairs out there. Especially since there’s no dining table inside. We ate at the barstools on the island.There was one night stand, and a very small table on the other side of the bed. This would not have been an issue, but there is no dresser. We had to get creative in order to find a place for my clothes. For a week stay, no one wants to live out of a suitcase.The beach gear, and wagon were all in great shape. The set of knives in the kitchen were awesome to use. Thanks for a great week!

Awesome place! There's great a/c, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, a laundry center, clean bathrooms, and even some beach items. I spent a few days here, and it was nice to come back to this home after long days, or just stay in and lounge around. It was also CLEAN in every part, and felt like home. Beach is right across the street, and food places and stores are not too far away. Would definitely stay here again and again.
