Our family was very satisfied with our stay this trip. We have come to Kamaole Sands two previous times and this unit has been the best by far. Everything was in great shape. The cleanliness was excellent. The extra large balcony and phenomenal view of the grounds and ocean was a bonus. They also had 6 beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, a wagon and buckets and shovels. We would definitely come back.

A fantastic home base for a Maui getaway!From the moment we booked, everything was effortless — the process was straightforward and stress-free. When we arrived, the place exceeded our expectations: the photos online actually undersell it. The space is genuinely roomy and well-appointed, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax.The location is a major highlight. We were just steps from Kamaole Beach Park III, with easy access to restaurants and shopping nearby — perfect for grabbing a meal without needing to drive. The pool area was a lovely bonus, beautifully maintained and a great spot to unwind after a day at the beach.We'd happily stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located rental on the south side of Maui.

Aloha! We stayed at Kamaole Sands in a 3 bed 3 bath, with our 2 adult children. Rooms were clean. VIP management was excellent! We had a hiccup and Carol and her team handled it quickly and professionally! We appreciate you! The grounds and pool were excellent. Maintenance was always doing something to maintain shrubs and foliage. Beach was very close and the stunning sunsets! I couldn’t say enough about those! We walked every evening down Kīhei Rd to the shops, restaurants and cafes. Maui! Beautiful we will return!

Great view, loved the kitchen and living room layout, the host was very attentive and quick to respond. We had discovered a water leak under the kitchen sink and within an hour she had a handyman there to fix it. Overall, great stay and would book again.

We had such a lovely time in this condo! The views were amazing of both the sea and mountain. The living space was very comfortable and clean. Communication was fantastic. Very nice spacious condo, nicely decorated and well stocked with essentials. Appreciated the 2 bathrooms and comfortable king size bed. Enjoyed having breakfast and coffee on the large lanai but there was a bit of traffic noise due to road closure detour but assume won’t be issue once road is repaired. Recommended!

The beach view is as the picture shows. Great to sit outside in the morning and easy walk across the street to the beach. You can hear waves crashing between the roosters crowing. The unit was well stocked with dishes and paper products.

The resort is in a great location, conveniently located just steps away from the beach, with a good pool and spa, and a decent, basic fitness room. my partner enjoys being on the ground floor to be able to easily walk out to the beach or pool or town; this unit it towards the more convenient pool/path access. host was excellent to communicate with; I felt very comfortable with the check-in process. unit was well appointed - I don't remember anything we needed not being available - beach chairs, kitchen items, towels, etc. The bathrooms have both been updated, which was nice. You will not be disappointed with the rental of this unit.

Comfortable condo, well equipped, very clean. Our only complaint was that this unit is on the 4th floor and the one and only elevator was out of order for 12 of our 14 day stay, so we had to carry beach paraphernalia and groceries up 3 flights of stairs several times a day.

This was our second time staying in this unit. We love the location! Matt was especially helpful when we checked in and found a leak in the bathroom he stopped by to review and promptly had it looked at and worked on it with the upstairs tenant. He offered to have our place cleaned due to the inconvenience. We thanked him for his offer but didn’t take him up on it.

As a traveling author who has stayed in many condos throughout Hawaii over the years, this Kamaole Sands end unit quickly became one of my favorite Maui stays. Perfect South Kihei location directly across from the beach with beautiful ocean views, amazing sunsets, and relaxing third floor trade winds that kept the condo cool day and night. We never used the air conditioning during our stay.The condo was spotless, spacious, beautifully decorated, and truly felt like a Hawaiian holiday with bamboo, tiki, and island style charm throughout. The layout was perfect for two people with plenty of privacy and space to relax comfortably. My favorite part was the lanai where I chose to sleep outside on the futon several nights. Waking up to roosters, baby chickens wandering the property, tropical birds visiting during breakfast, and soft Maui mornings made the experience unforgettable.The condo had everything needed for a Maui beach vacation including snorkeling gear, beach accessories, and a beach buggy that made beach trips easy. I even left behind my own snorkeling gear because honestly this condo already has everything. The only things I missed were a Keurig and a rice cooker.Comfortable, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and one of the most memorable Maui stays I’ve had. A great condo at the Sands, perfect for a multi-generational family trip. The condo has everything you need from chairs and umbrella, to a washer & dryer in the unit. There is a lot of walking, if people in your party have mobility issues. The view is lovely from the lanai. Be sure not to miss the hula party by the pool on Wednesdays - one of the sweetest things I've ever seen and the craft market on Saturdays just down the street. These make staying at the Sands even better than just the access to the beach.

The Condo was great - it was clean, well appointed (although we didn't use any of the kitchen appliances as we went out to eat all meals) there appeared to be all the things one would need to prepare meals for their family. The designated parking space was great as well. The host was extremely responsive and gave me wonderful suggestions on places to visit as well as restaurants.I highly recommend this unit.

This unit was very well stocked and very clean. Spacious floor plan and nice furnishings. The resort was clean, safe, beautifully landscaped, lovely pool and spa areas, very nice BBQ and picnic area. Location was great, walking distance to the beach, shopping and several restaurants. A view is very important to me. This unit states ocean view, it does have a very limited view of the ocean from one small area on the Lanai, this is my only complaint. The view in the pictures is more expansive than the actual view.

Kamaole Sands Resort is a beautiful property and the staff are wonderful. Super clean BBQs and well kept grounds and friendly staff. Our condo was spacious for our family of 3. Murphy bed was wonderful to have for our daughter and still allowed for plenty of space to access the living room area and lanai. Lanai is very private. Beds comfortable and AC kept the entire condo cool. Only issue was the master bathroom shower wasn't working but the 2nd bathroom had a more preferred shower anyway. This location of Kihei is also our favourite as the beaches are amazing. Can't wait to go back!
