This was a perfect place for our family of 5. The baby gear and beach gear at the condo made our stay so much more relaxing! The property is pretty and well-maintained, everything is a short drive away, communication was excellent.

Everything was good, just that we did not have pleasant experience because my daughter got scared after seeing gecko in house. She did not experience ever that kind of thing here in Seaatle location. But, again that is natural over there due to the weather and all those things. Apart from that the bed was not that good. It was quirky a lot.

Overall, a good location and nice complex. Good apartment gym if you want to get some exercise in. Easy to walk everywhere. Biggest complaint was the wifi and A/C. A/C is on a timer and only can last 4 hours at a time, so if you get hot sleeping - you will have to get up to turn back on in middle of night. Also, if you are working remote on your stay, the wifi wasn't very dependable for handling virtual meetings, etc.But overall, it was a convenient and easy place to stay. Would recommend for those looking to completely detach from work and just relax.

Likely one of the best vacation rentals I've ever had. The host's thoughtfulness in preparing for guests really surpassed every place I've stayed at. Not only do they have all the beach and cooking gear all supplied for use... there were little touches here and there that made this place outstanding:-A bag of recyclable bags ready to use by the front door-a laundry basket- ziploc bags- discount foodland coupon provided by front desk- multiple keys to split among guests- numerous beach towels- wagon and cooler for beach staysThank you again! We had a lovely stay in this condo. It’s the perfect location in the complex for the pool but still really quiet. We prefer being on the ground floor too. The kitchen had lots of condiments for us to use which was really helpful not having to buy too much for a holiday. The beds were really comfy and my daughter said the sofa bed was the best she’s slept on! We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella too! It was easy to check in and great communication with the owner. You can walk down to the beach in 5 minutes and Kihei is a great location for access to the rest of the island.

The unit was clean, well stocked kitchen and beach supplies. Great location with the beach across the street and nice grilling and pool area. Unfortunately, a leaky roof with rain water running down the wall through an electrical switch and pooling on the floor in our 3 and 4 year old granddaughter’s bedroom, which we felt was unsafe to be in for 24 hours, as recommended from the Condo maintenance. When we notified our Host of the situation, his attitude was absolute disrespectful and flippant and that we had options and could move the twin beds into the living room. Host could work on his conversational skills when talking with concerned guests. My reason for not giving a 5 star rating. I have videos of the flow of rainwater running through the electrical switch box if needed.

We had the best stay at Susan’s place! First off, it is absolutely beautiful and spotless! She provides more than you can ask for. Coolers, beach chairs, ice packs, etc, were all there and available to use. The condo is within walking distance to most everything…beaches, food trucks, restaurants, you name it. We wanted to extend our stay for a late check out, and she was very quick to respond, and the late check out made our last day so much more relaxing. I would definitely stay here again. The grounds are amazing, the pool is beautiful, parking was easy and right by the room. There was not a single thing to complain about. Everything from check in to check out was easy and we loved Susan’s place!

Kihei is a great location, with beaches right across the street and some nice breakfast and lunch options just a short ride away. It's also more central to Maui which makes it faster to get around. This place was nice but not as nice as it looks in the pictures. The silverware had to be run through the dishwasher because it was covered in something. The furniture looked a little dirty. There is no view to the beach, you are pretty far back. AC worked really well. Limited blankets and they are very, very thin.

A great apartment in a great location.Apartment is well located away from the road so no road noise at night, and the pool shuts down at 10pm so again no noise after that (though usually it was quiet anyway). Before then if you shut the window vents it's quiet should there be noise from the pool. I also found the general area of the complex very quiet overall. Note that the pool area also has a small mostly shaded toddler type pool about 2 ft deep which is pretty rare for these complexes.The apartment had everything i needed for my 3 week stay, including 4 beach towels so no need to pack those bulky things. Also had a boogie board, 2 beach chairs , umbrella, a beach "tent", and a medium size cooler. There is a convertible sofa but i didn't use it. There are two bathrooms one with a good shower, one with a bath.Entrance is by an electronic lock which means no need to carry a key around and be worried about losing it on the beach or wherever. Much better than a lockbox with key.I had no issues, for example no insects or similar, probably being second floor helped there, and everything worked eg cooker fridge and so on and the apartment was nicely cleaned and tidy when i entered (and left!). Its a short walk to the Kamaole beaches which have showers and toilets but theres also good parking there if you want to cart a lot of stuff down.Finally if you dive or snorkel from the Kihei boat ramp, its ten minutes walk / 3 minutes drive, very handy.

There tend to be two types of short term vacation rentals - ones that go above in beyond in trying to create great experiences for their guests, & ones that get by doing the bare minimum. This rental unfortunately is the latter. Pros- Great location - our 3rd time staying at Kamaole Sands. Love the proximity to beaches, the pool, & amenities. - Booking was easy & responses were timely. We did complete ID verification because it was within 7 days but that was quick. - Instructions were emailed & easy to follow- Great AC in each room that kept the unit comfortable all day. - Supply of beach chairs, snorkels, coolers, umbrellas - some need to be replaced as they are broken. - TV in every roomCons- Unit is dated and has deferred maintenance including rust in the refrigerator, oven that wobbles, doors that need to be painted, spiral staircase railing needs to be tightened (creaky), bathroom vents needs to be cleaned, shower doors that need to be cleaned- Mismatched furniture & artwork- No counter stools - only 4 chairs even though the unit sleeps 6. - Very cheap toilet paper, paper towels, & soap provided. No tissues. Bring your own! - We were there during the tsunami warning. We did get a text noting evacuation routes were listed in the condo. We looked around - nothing showing what routes to take. - Dated stereo with 3 disc changer, headphone plug, but no bluetooth. Overall a 3 star rental that could be better with some upgrades and TLC.

We also appreciated the extra beach materials - beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and sand toys for our little one. The location was great. We couldn't have been happier. This condo is great and has everything you need! We are a two bedroom, two bathroom family and Annette's place had the space we needed and more. Super comfortable and is on a nice property that is very laid back. Pool is lovely and beach is a short walk across the street. Property is within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short drive to almost anywhere on the island. Condo provides beach chairs/towels and you can rent an umbrella from the resort. Annette is beyond gracious and a super, super responsive host. She went out of our way to accommodate us and make sure we had a relaxing time during our stay.
