John and Sarah have the most beautiful home on the beach with amazing views and comfort. The condo is even more gorgeous than the pictures featured. Morning beach walks, golf right around the corner, whale watching from lanai along with gorgeous sunsets to finish the day.

Walked the long beach every morning then continued onto the paved Wailea beach path. Would turn around at Polo Beach before turning back. Great way to exercise during vacation. Rented a double kayak from downstairs shop, reasonable rate $50/2 hours on a 2 person kayak. Bought a blow up floater at Nearby ABC store to just relax and float in the waves. Used the BBQ which we took on a couple of picnic lunches. We stayed at this facility 10 years ago and returned.

Nothing compares to the Mana Kai and this room is one of our favorites! It was immaculate. You can tell care was involved in furnishing it intentionally. Management was quick to respond to questions and kind. The beach hairs and extra towels were handy. The only drawback is that if you were staying with four people you might want extra closet space but since we had the place to ourselves (just my husband and I), there was more than enough space between the two rooms.

Joan & Sara’s place is a fantastic choice for our little vacation of family three (with a toddler)! John and Sara have been so accommodating with early check in and most importantly the complimentary crib for our little boy! Everything they have done simply made our stay so essy and comfortable, let alone the considerably designed and stocked rooms and the breathtaking views right from the balcony! The location of the Mana Kai is the best, and we've stayed there 40+ years in various units. The 8-story building is on the soft sand beach with a grassy area with coconut trees for shade, chaise lounges, and a coral reef that is great for snorkeling. No pricey boat ride needed. Sea turtles are now in the area also and we saw them daily. It is important to understand that Unit 204B is a hotel-type room, not a condo with a kitchen or lanai, and the description is very clear on that. Unit 204B is a great place to stay if you just need a place to clean up and sleep well before your next day's Maui adventure. The bed is comfortable and can be configured as twins or a king. The unit was clean and stocked with a K-pod coffee machine, electric tea kettle and small refrigerator. Unfortunately the downstairs restaurant was still closed for re-modeling, but there is the 808 General Store in the building with a good supply of essentials and snacks. We used the BBQ grill, and rental water equipment is also available. The pool is simple, great for the little ones, and the view from the grounds is vast with Haleakala up slope to the east, and lovely sunsets to the west between West Maui and Lanai. We were a family of 7, so we rented 204B and a larger 2-bedrooom unit for our stay, and it worked well. Communications with Sylvia were prompt and thorough, and we appreciated that she was willing and able to suggest companies for the baby supplies we needed to rent during our stay. Thank you!

The view and island vibes were amazing! It was very clean and had lots of amenities. I rented the whole unit and wasn’t aware that there was two separate doors for A and B. This actually worked better for my trip as I came with another couple so it allowed privacy while also being together. I loved that it was right next to the beach and we could simply walk down and be there within a minute.

We love Mana Kai! It’s the best location in Kihei. This unit provided a great view of everything. We literally sat on the lanai for hours watching the ocean and all that it offered. We saw turtles from our lanai. Great vacation!

We have stayed at the Mana Kai for 40+ years making many happy 4-generation memories. The 8th floor units, above the coconut trees, allow for the best views looking down the shoreline towards Wailea, up country/Haleakala, and Molokini. The building is beachfront, so hearing the surf reminds you where you are, and the coral reef there is great for snorkeling and exploring tide pools. We were happy to see turtles have made their way to this area, so no pricey boat ride is needed for good snorkeling and sea turtle sightings. The restaurant remains closed, which was a disappointment, but we were told permits have been granted so construction can begin. The Merriman's group is coming in, which will be a real treat. The 805 unit was casual and comfortable for our group. It is not fancy, more beach-house style, but the magnificent view is the jewel of the unit. Supplies were sparing, but adequate for a basic 6-7 day stay, and it would have been nice to have some storage containers, plastic bags/wrap and foil in addition to the supplied paper towels, Kleenex and TP. The bathtub in the 2nd bathroom needs some attention freshening up the caulking and chips in the white porcelain exposing the black metal tub. It didn't appear "re-modeled" as recently as stated. CB Island Vacations was responsive and pleasant to deal with, and adding the extra half day extension to our check out to enjoy another day in the unit and be freshened up before our red-eye flight home was so worth it. Nice!

The Location of this complex is perfect. It is a short walk down the beach to the larger resorts and shopping at Wailea. This particular unit was perfect. The room was exceptionally clean and the sixth floor location is high enough yet close enough to see the turtles swimming in the water. This was an incredible value. Highly recommend it.

Sweet studio apartment set-up right on north end Keawakapu Beach. Ideal for single/couple. Fully equipped with beach stuff and kitchen stuff with solid convenience store pretty much on site. Minutes from Hawaiian Moons supermarket and multiple restaurants (I rented an E-Bike which was perfect transport for Kihei/Wailea). It's within a small resort so all sorts of activities available if you want. Check-in and out easy peasy and the owners representative went above and beyond arranging for me to have one more night (you won't be quite ready to leave when it's time). Highly recommend. The view of the beach and sunsets were amazing and unforgettable. Several turtles decided to visit during our stay with one coming ashore to rest while 3 others romped in the surf. What an incredible site to be able to see wildlife in their natural habitat
The condo itself was very comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony most morning have breakfast and tea. Never really had to use the air conditioner as the breeze was always very comfortable.
Listening to the waves break at night was relaxing and helped you drift off to sleep after a busy day of exploring the island.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and we hope to be able to come and stay again!

We had a fantastic stay here. Great location and nice ocean view. Although the apartment itself is a bit dated, it was all very clean and offered everything that we could’ve needed. Snorkeling close by was a big plus. Would definitely recommend this place.

We have checked out several condos at the Mana Kai for the past 20+ years, and this is our favorite…we have stayed there four times now!
Spectacular view - closest to the ocean; high-end, gorgeous furnishings; and fully stocked kitchen! It really is a great value for the price, considering hotel costs in Kihei/Wailea. The owners are also great to work with - super responsive to any questions/issues we had.
The property is just steps away from one of the best beaches in Maui, and the pool and BBQ area on property is well-maintained and used often by our family.
Can’t wait to return next year!🏝️

The location never disappoints. I was disappointed in the communication from the property manager. They did not get me my code or parking space. When I reached out there was no way to contact except a VM and an email. I did both and never received a response even after I had security help me at 9pm. They did get a response from the property manager and I was in my room by 10pm.
The condo itself was great. There was almost everything I could need. Maybe a Keurig instead of a coffee pot LOL

The description of the unit is very accurate - unit was clean and exactly what we needed for 2 teens, a gramma and my husband and I. There was always a custodian cleaner doing rounds all day - wiping little things that showed us the place is well cared for. The best was the view and that the pool is on the ocean. It was so easy to go sit pool side, then go swim with the turtles at the beach right off of the property. The beach and grass areas we public but not very busy or loud with music and beech parties. It was nice and quiet. The pool code kept the pool secure and our family loved that the pool was 7’ deep so they could really “swim” … the beach is clean and has good snorkelling in the morning. The unit itself isn’t super updated but the twin beds have nice memory foam toppers for excellent sleep. The King bed is comfy - there were ample pillows and blankets. The laundry was not busy and fine for what we needed to be washed. Lots of dishes and Tupperware and containers etc - we didn’t need the coolers but they were there. It was exactly what we expected. The outdoor hallway was clean and the elevators worked well. There are big cargo carts in the lobby if you need to bring in lots of stuff when checking in or out. The little tuck shop had essentials. There are restaurants 5 minutes away either direction. We felt safe and secluded and would highly recommend! Check in was easy and we could change the door code to a number we could remember. Our family of 4 loved our stay in Maui in this unit. Plenty of room for us to have our own space & our teenage daughters to have theirs. We were delighted to have the beach, snorkeling & that lovely lawn space right downstairs. Beautiful turtles seemed to enjoy swimming near the rock with the other ocean lovers & posed great for photos. Food nearby was delicious—never went hungry or thirsty. Everyone we came across gave off great aloha vibes.

Saw so many turtles in the water! Rental was great for our family. Close to so many restaurants and grocery stores within 10 minute drive. I loved this condo on Keawakapu Beach. The interior was comfortable, and the view from the deck sublime. You can walk south along the shore for miles, swim and snorkle at Keawakapu beach, explore tide pools, lounge under palm trees, or swim in the pool. Upscale shopping is in nearby Wailea, and there are lots of local establishments to explore in Kihei. I wouldnt stay anyehere else.
