Mana Kai is a beautiful property on an awesome beach for kids, swimming, snorkeling, and has a beautiful pool.
Pros of the condo:
-main beds were comfortable
-kitchen was well equipped
Cons:
-carpet was filthy and we had to wear shoes inside
-the sofa bed was unusable with springs coming out of the sides and no padding. This was a big issue as there were 6 people in our group with 2 functional beds.
-there were 4 beach towels for 6 people for 8 days
-there were 6 nath

I would 100% stay here again. I think It must be one of the best locations in south Maui. It’s close to Kihei shops and restaurants (more economical), close to Wailea upscale shopping and luaus, steps to beach and the best snorkeling we did all week (also went to Makena landing, po’olenana, Molokini crater, and near Makena State park. The apartment worked well for our family—one adult in separate king room (no view and cannot open curtains unless you want everyone walking down the hall to see you, so be aware of that), one couple in main king room with baby, and one older kid on pullout couch. Kitchen facilities were great, big fridge, communal laundry right outside the door as are elevators. View from lanai breathtaking.

This is the most beautiful property you’ll find on this island. Its right on the water front and located next to everything you’ll need. 5 minutes away from groceries, restaurants, car rental, surf rental and more. Always clean and everyone there is super nice!

This is such a cool property. The condo has the perfect view and all the necessities! The property owner (Igor), was amazing. He had offered if there was anything that would make our stay more comfortable to let him know and he also offered to purchase anything that we needed at the property under a $100. I reached out to him and asked if her would be open if we purchased a few games (to leave there and enjoy), he quickly responded with and absolutely and paid us back. What a great host. The property is beautiful and the best part was right there off the beach is a beautiful reef with some of the best snorkeling! We saw so many different fish, turtles, urchins and eels.
We will definitely will rent this condo again! Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Location, location, location! We absolutely loved our stay here. The views can’t be topped and the beach is beautiful. We had plenty of room for our family of four. The condo and grounds are very nice. The pool looked nice but we didn’t use it. Opted for the ocean instead. The town of Kihei was wonderful with a lot of places to eat and a cool vibe. We would come here again 10 out of 10 times.

This condo is absolutely stunning . The location of the Mana Kai is perfect. The property is immaculate with a fantastic beach right outside the door. The condo itself was beyond my expectations. It’s fully stocked with everything you need. Igor was excellent to work with. Kihei is the perfect location, central to everything. I would highly recommend this condo. We will definitely be going back. Would not stay anywhere else but here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mana Kai. The views from this condo can't be beat... we received great responses with any issues that came up from the owner and management company and staff on site was pleasant and helpful. Some furnishings could use updating but this wasn't an issue for us. Beds were comfortable and the location of this unit in the building was very convenient.

The beach is literally steps away. The views from the upper floors are magnificent! The location is the best! We have stayed in many units here over the years and thus was the least luxurious. The unit needs a good, deep cleaning but it was just fine for our needs. The owner was very responsive to my inquiries!

On track with most reviews, the property needs a deep cleaning and updating. The beds are comfortable in the two bedrooms; however, the pull-out mattress is unacceptable in any way, so beware, if you plan to have anyone sleep on it, they are better off on the couch itself.
The owner is wonderful and very responsive. The property is beautiful and well-kept.

We have been staying at Mana Kai for well over a decade. We love the location! The view! It’s simply the BEST!
We have stayed in many different condos and this one could use some love. Upon arrival, it was evident the cleaning crew missed an opportunity to show their skill set. No functioning luggage caddies and stuck drawers made our stay challenging. Even with the challenges, we had a wonderful time on Maui.
We still love Mana Kai! We look forward to our Holidays that we spend on Maui all year. Looking forward to seeing much needed cleaning and basic upgrades in this condo.

Kihei and the Mana Kai are the perfect mix of paradise. This unit has one room with a king bed that has access to the lanai/ocean view and the other king bedroom with own bath has a mountain view. It has a just the right size kitchen and the perfect space for a family or 2 couples to spread out for a few days to a week and take in all that Maui has to offer! What a great unit!

We had a great stay at Igor's condo! The location was amazing and the complex was great for our family. The suite was exactly as the photos and it was quite clean and organized when we arrived. We liked that the door had a code instead of a key for easy access from the beach.

What an amazing VRBO experience. The condos matched the photos perfectly. Unbeatable location in Maui. I loved coming down the elevator and being just steps away from the sand. Everyone here was friendly. The condo itself was stocked with dishes, glasses, cutting boards, appliances, and every kitchen utensil and gadget you could want. The A/C worked extremely well. The view was spectacular. I can't imagine there's a better unit in this complex. Lots of free chaise lounges for daily use. We were there over Thanksgiving and it never felt crowded. Never had to fight for a chair or for beach space. The master bed was memory foam. If you like it, you'll sleep like a baby. The sound of crashing waves was glorious, even 7 floors up. The only 2 areas of concern (not the fault of the condo owner): There are roosters everywhere in Maui, including at the property south of this condo. They start crowing at 2am! And the restaurant that was on the bottom floor of this condo has closed, and will reopen under a new owner sometime down the road. There is, however, a general store downstairs with EVERYTHING you need. Kitchen goods, toiletries, clothes, souvenirs, food, drinks, snacks, coffee, tea, ice cream. We must have gone there 15 times during our stay. And they have a liquor license pending, which will be nice. This condo unit includes a reserved parking spot, which is an awesome bonus. Beach chairs and boogie boards in the condo for guests to enjoy. Nice TV with lots of movies and shows. Ceiling fans all around. A surprisingly nice gym in the basement of the building. We booked beach yoga one day ($28 a person) and my family loved it. Free BBQs, a huge lawn area, a pool, and a breezy indoor/outdoor lobby for relaxing. We would 100% stay at this location in this condo again. Igor, the owner, was fabulous to work with. Never met him, but he was super-responsive with all inquiries and requests. We miss the Mana Kai already!

The location was perfect, between Kihei and Wailea with a beautiful stretch of beach to walk and swim. The apartment was nicely furnished and was a good amount of space for the five of us. Igor responded quickly and helped connect to the local maintenance person to fix a clogged toilet. The fence surrounding the pool, the restaurant, and convenience store were undergoing some renovations but we could still use the pool with no issues. The area in front of the hotel has public access. This was actually pretty cool to have locals hanging on the grass area and beach. The kitchen counter space is limited, but workable and has all needs for meals. Overall, a fantastic place to stay - it'll be on my mind as a peaceful and beautiful memory of Maui.

We enjoyed the location right on the beach. We rented kayaks and paddle boards on site. We loved the pool and the BBQ area where we cooked our steaks and lobster. We appreciate having the activities counter and the little convience store on premises.

Amazing property and view. You are staring at the ocean, the tops of palm trees, and Molokini crater in the distance. Comfortable king beds, well stocked kitchen and very nice master bathroom. Ample seating on the patio for drinks or dinner. Owner was easy to work with and responsive. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Snorkeling right along your beach. Only downside was that the restaurant is no longer in business. I would highly recommend this property.

Nothing brings me more joy than watching nature in Maui. I chose this unit due to its location (we have stayed at the Mana Kai before) and its in-unit views - being on the 7th floor – which are fantastic. It's positioned so you can see straight down the coastline towards Wailea and I just loved watching the day evolve from dawn to dusk from this vantage. The beach (Keawakapu) is fantastic and offers a perfect opportunity for a daily, early-morning stroll to the Starbucks at Wailea Beach Resort. The kids loved boogie boarding and my son and I snorkeled right in front of Mana Kai and down the beach as well. All that Wailea has to offer (shopping, restaurants, great Island Gourmet market) is very close too. Maui was *very* busy during our stay (Spring Break) and some of the amenities we have relied on in the past at Mana Kai were not available (Five Palms restaurant, market on site), but we had a lovely stay.

The condo needs to have some renovating but was very comfortable. The bed was awesome. The pots/pans need to be replaced and not enough silverware. The blender needs to be scraped/didn’t work. Replace the plates with microwave safe plates.

This was our third visit to this condo. The condo is very comfortable with awesome views of the beach, ocean and surrounding properties. You can watch the sunrise over Haleakala and the sunset from your lanai or on the Mana Kai's lawn. We love this place!

You can’t beat the view! We saw so many whales from our balcony! We loved being able to kayak, paddle board and snorkel right there and were able rent all of the gear there too. Saw so many turtles! The condo could use some updating but we had everything we needed.

The location is the killer feature of this property. You literally are right at the water, even from your balcony, or a 10 sec elevator ride down to the actual beach. This simplified logistics soo much and let us just enjoy our vacation without worrying about drives/car seats/baby nap times. The condo itself is very spacious and has a decently stocked kitchen. Igor was great to deal with throughout.

You can't beat a VRBO where you walk out of the property right on to the beach and have a view of the stunning sunsets every night. The property was immaculate and well stocked. Beds for 4 and I noticed an air mattress in a closet for more people. The location was south Kihei and convenient to everything.

With grass between the building and the beach you have a great place to enjoy the sun without getting sand and tracking it into you unit.

We enjoyed our stay at Mana Kai. We can’t say enough about the amazing view from the condo. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The air unit in the bedroom was wonderful but my kids we’re warm in the front room sleeping. Not a big deal but the property is next to a public parking lot so the beach is pretty busy. The happy hour, board & snorkel rentals and pool on the property made our vacation.

Mana Kai was the perfect location for our stay in Maui! We enjoyed the beach, and snorkeling in the reef below, but were also centrally located to enjoy Kihea, Lahaina and all of our excursions on the island. Igor was quick to respond to my questions, and gave very helpful suggestions.

Property wasn't the best we have stayed. I would not stay here again. Parking is a major concern. Stalls are too narrow and we had obvious damage to our vehicle because some one felt we were too close. We asked if someone could look at security footage and we were given platitudes. I knew we would get no response and didnt.

Mana Kai is a beautiful resort with everything we wanted. The resort has a long beach that is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Quite lovely. We saw several sea turtles. It was really windy three days in the afternoon, so get out by 7 or so. I loved the heated pool when the wind picked up. The grassy area under the palms was also lovely. The convenience of the restaurant, bar, store, and rental place all on the grounds was awesome! We spent almost every afternoon at the bar in the restaurant for “happy hour”. Our dinner at the 5 Palms restaurant was so good, but very expensive. The room was perfect with an amazing view! Just loved it so much. The room could use some updates, but it was still lovely. Make sure to bring or buy in the store shampoo, conditioner and laundry detergent. We also bought and left a little insulated lunch size bag for the beach. We could have used another roll of TP in each bathroom. Highly recommended and I hope to come again soon!!!

The property has an amazing sunset view. The beach right by the property is wonderful. The front desk people were helpful. The amenities provided were a bit dated but overall okay except for the broken tv remote. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this property!! Igor is very responsive to messages. The views are amazing and you can see the sunset every night from the Lanai and we actually saw whales from the balcony. The beds are comfortable, there are plenty of towels and beach towels. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you would need. We appreciate being able to go during this crazy time and Igor made it possible!

This condo was exactly what we hoped for. The view is amazing, the beds and furniture are very comfortable, there's plenty of storage space, the kitchen is very well equipped, and then there's the gorgeous sound of the surf. Igor made setting things up so easy, quickly answered all our questions, and was very accommodating. Previous renters have left some very useful beach toys including boogie boards, beach chairs and 2 umbrellas. This is now our favorite condo at the Mana Kai Maui. Thanks Igor!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at #708. The view from our lanai was fantastic.......You can see the entire length of Keawakapu Beach in one direction, then the ocean, and also Haleakala. The condo was roomy, clean and well stocked for anything we might need to enjoy our stay. The amenities at Mana Kai are superb......the restaurant, the pool, the lawn, and Zack's for any incidentals that we might need. Great snorkeling, too! We loved it so much that we have already booked our return visit to #708! Thank you, Igor, for providing this wonderful accommodation! Mahalo & Aloha
