We loved our stay at this condo! They provided us with everything we needed for a fantastic two and a half weeks. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen well-appointed, and we enjoyed morning coffee and tea on the lanai every morning with that fabulous view of Kaho’olawe and the Molokini crater. The location is perfect, too, and property management responds quickly to answer any questions you might have. My only recommendation would be that they post updated pictures of the unit. They are mostly accurate but it no longer has carpet in the living room and bedroom which I had been looking forward to and has since been replaced with laminate flooring. We loved the pool and getting to know both residents and other renters alike. What a perfect spot to spend our 20th anniversary! Mahalo nui loa!

Beautiful view and perfect location but it’s very obvious the owners do not put anything back into their condo to keep it updated. It was somewhat clean but looked dirty. The non slip bath strips could use a new set and some new bath towels. They did not look clean. The balcony had a funny smell so we did not go out there as much. And saw that a week after we were there a balcony in that complex came off the side of the building with people on it. Family renting out another unit paid the same price we did and the condo was way nicer and updated. Also when people are paying to stay somewhere they shouldn’t have to worry about buying more toilet paper or paper towels. That should be well stocked. Also the soap that was in the bathroom was several years expired. I don’t normally write any reviews but I was definitely disappointed and expected a little bit nicer unit. And beings that the owners of this unit own 3 in that complex you would think they would take a little more pride in how the place looks and feels.

I just want to say that I never leave reviews but this needed addressing. Communication with the property owner/manager was terrible from the get go. I emailed several times up to arrival and on day of arrival with no response to confirm we were coming and to try and check in earlier due to plane arriving earlier. Crickets. The unit itself was just ok. Desperately needs updating. Tubs need caulking, rust in tubs, master bathroom towel bar broken off, master bed and pillows hard and terrible, fan makes horrible noises and a/c didn’t get very cold in this room. Not a peaceful restful room to be in. 2nd bedroom had mini split and newer beds and pillows that were comfortable. The entire unit felt dirty from the moment I opened the door. Let me also state that I have never rented from any other unit that didn’t have shampoo, conditioner, hand soaps available for guests. With the rental rates I would have thought those would have been supplied at the very least. Our socks and feet were completely black from how dirty the floors were. I did address this with manager and finally got a response they’d have someone come and re-mop but if they didn’t do it the first time couldn’t see it helping a second time with how filthy they were. The island itself we enjoyed thoroughly and will continue to visit. We have been 6 times in the last 10 years and try and spread the love by staying with different property owners. Will not stay in this unit again! We stayed 8 days!.

This is a fantastic place to stay at! When it comes to going to the beach, they have chairs, umbrellas, and beverage coolers to borrow. Extra sets of sunscreen available too if you need it. We left our two bottles to keep the supply going. There is plenty of room for a family of five. The view of the Cove was amazing too. Location is close to many things within walking distance. Food, coffee, ice cream. The pool and hot tub area is well maintained. My kids took full advantage of that in the evenings. Highly recommend this place. I would love to stay here again on our return to Maui some day!

We had a great stay and would absolutely consider booking this condo again. The location was excellent, close to everything we wanted to do while still offering a beautiful ocean view that made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.One feature that really stood out was the mini-split unit in the bedroom. It allowed us to keep the sleeping area cool at night without having to lower the temperature throughout the entire condo, which made a big difference in comfort. The condo was well situated, comfortable, and worked very well as a home base for exploring the area. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved this unit! It is bright and modern with the best patio. You get ocean and Mountain View’s. Being on the ground floor is amazing because you have a grass area right off the patio that leads to the pool. Right across the street is the perfect beach to learn how to surf. Walking to South Maui Gardens was a huge plus too.

We had a few glitches but they were handled after talking with the property owner. Biggest disappointment was not being able to use the gas grills for our steaks on Mother’s Day. Three newer grills with gas directly piped to them and not one would light. We noticed several others attempting to use them also.

This was a perfect place to stay for a family of four. We wanted to be close to the beaches in the Kihei / Wailea area, close to food options, and someplace where our kids could have some options for play, and this checked all those boxes. The condo had plenty of space, a nice large living room/kitchen area, two spacious bedrooms, and a nice lanai that overlooked the pool deck area. Plenty of beach chairs and beach toys for the kids available for use. There were beaches within walking distance, a large playground/park that overlooks the water, and plenty of other beach options within a 15 minute drive. La'haina / Kaanapali is only about a 40 minute drive away, and Paia is only about 30 minutes away, so this spot is particularly convenient. Food-wise, there's a huge food truck complex within a block of the condo, as well as one of the best sushi places on the island. Would absolutely stay here again, especially for the price - it's a great value.

Wonderful location, especially if you don't want to rent a car - amazing beaches and shops and restaurants within walking distance. The condo is fully equipped with everything needed for a vacation, even beach gear, sand toys for kids, pickleball and tennis rockets! Tennis court and hot tub grill on property make a wonderful addition. I met some nice people there too. The host Diane provided impeccable communication and support throughout the whole stay. Will stay again if I make it back to Maui.

We flew into Maui the morning before the historic Kona Low storm hit. Thankfully, the wonderful housekeeper allowed us to drop off our groceries before check-in, so our food stayed cold when the storm hit and we lost power. The condo felt very safe, and we were grateful to have a secure place to stay during the worst of the storm. There were even candles available, which helped keep the space lit the night we were without power.Unfortunately, it rained for much of our trip, but we still made the most of it—spending time in the hot tub, reading, and watching whales from the deck and pool area.Sam was fantastic; he checked in on us and offered help in any way possible. Once Kihei began to recover, we were able to walk to happy hour and nearby shops. We also enjoyed short drives to Wailea for açaí bowls in the mornings and walking around that area, especially since Kihei was hit hard and required significant cleanup during the first half of our stay.The condo is well maintained, the AC works great, and the pool area is wonderful. There was plenty of room for our family of four, and the two queen beds in the second bedroom are definitely a bonus.We truly appreciated Sam’s hospitality and how accommodating he was. We would absolutely stay here again—five-star host!

Before our stay, I reached out to the property owner to inquire about the available items in the kitchen, as this was an integral part of our stay and I received no answer. Upon check in, I was pleased that the floor was nice and clean, and the sheets and towels were as well - good cleaning crew!In the morning after our first night, we discovered what we call a B52- a 3" flying cockroach IN the bed. It was discovered that the sliding glass door and the screen both do not stay shut, they roll open. Additionally, a screen is missing from the bedroom. We had to wedge things into the lanai screen to keep it from opening and one night our inventions failed and the screen rolled open - we were inundated with mosquitoes. This property owner is vocal about how to reduce pests, saying not to bring cardboard into the condo. Intrigued by the "creepy upstairs", we peered in to discover a whole room with a bed and lots of cardboard boxes upstairs, perhaps where these pests are coming from/living? Another reason for booking was the washer, however the first load came out smelling like mold despite being removed promptly and upon looking the washer has mold inside. The dryer is vented to a kitchen cabinet where using it left us coughing and the wooden drying racks out on the lanai were falling down. The microwave stopped working. There was not enough toilet paper. Hot tub wasn't working. The view was great but we paid too much to have these avoidable issues :(

We had planned a special trip to Maui, but due to the storms in 2026, our travel quickly turned into a stressful and disappointing situation and it became clear we would not make it to Maui at all. Seeing the devastation on the island only added to the emotional weight of the experience.Throughout all of this, Leif was exceptional. He stayed in close contact with us every step of the way, showing genuine care and concern—not just as a host, but as a person. After several days of uncertainty, when it became clear our trip was no longer possible, he made the incredibly generous decision to refund our entire stay, even though he was under no obligation to do so.That level of integrity and compassion is rare. While the property itself looked wonderful, what truly stands out is the character of the owner. In a difficult and chaotic situation, he chose to do the right thing, and that meant far more to us than any accommodation ever could.We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to book with him again in the future.
