We were visiting Maui with our kids (ages 3 and 1) and this place was perfect. Beds are comfy, ground-level lenai with water views, plus lots of kid-friendly additions like sand toys, pool noodles and a pack and play. Walking distance (even with a 3-year-old!) to beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants in Kihei. Diane was really welcoming and responsive. We loved this spot as our home away from home while visiting Maui.

Very well-equipped VRBO with all the kitchen tools you might want. Other condo neighbors were friendly as they passed by. Air conditioning works well and quickly. Enjoyed watching the surfers but wished for no fence as part of the view. Warning: Do not walk down the boat ramp across the street, it is very slippery.

The property was awesome and the location was perfect. We walked across the street to the Cove for our daily early morning sunrise session. Then at sunset, we would walk to Charlie Young beach to watch the sunset. Can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing time on our trip thanks to this wonderful condo. Upon arrival, it was so clean and the air conditioning was working perfectly. This condo was stocked with everything we needed. We very much appreciated the cooler and beach chairs to take down to the beach. My husband and two teens enjoyed it as well and loved the pool and hot tub and the nightly sunsets!
I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to stay in Maui!

This location was ideal for us as a family with young children. It was perfectly situated as we explored the various towns around Maui. Being so close to Cove Beach (literally 5 minutes away) we were able to enjoy the ocean right away!
The place itself was clean and tidy and had all the tools, utensils and equipment for cooking. Beds were super comfy too! This was a great place to come back to rest and recharge during the hot summer afternoons.
Host was fantastic at keeping in touch and answering our questions.
We hope to enjoy this great place again in the future!

Nice ocean view from the patio and swimmable beach right across the street! The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and it was nice to have air conditioning for those hot sunny afternoons.

Great location, short walk to the stores an restaurants in South Kihei, 10 minute drive to Wailea. Comes just as advertised, very clean, great view of the surfers across the street every morning. We didn’t use the pool / barbecue facilities ourselves but they seemed very popular with others.

Everything described and shown in photo accurate. Conveniently located, nothing was more than 10 minutes away. Park and beach access is stone throws away. Back patio has amazing view of the ocean, great at sunset. Owner was very responsive and overall great experience. I would love to come back!

Our stay at Diane's unit was all we hoped for and more. This was my first time in Kihei and the location was perfect with many places within walking distance or by Maui Bus since we didn't rent a car. (Side note-Maui Bus is a great resource, they have an awesome app, just make sure to bring $1.00 bills since they don't provide change). The space was comfortable for 2 people and it was a huge help to have bed and bath linens provided. We had some internet connectivity issues and Diane went right to work to remedy the situation. We arrived 12/25 and even though that is still considered "early" for whale season, I was delighted to watch blows and breaches from the lanai EVERY DAY!

Shores of Maui is a hidden gem. To wake up with a cup of coffee and watch the surfers is an absolute delight. The full time residents are a helpful bunch and have great tips and interesting insights about the island. The space is well appointed. Instructions on the WiFi. Tv, and Ac are clear and understandable. It is a clean and comfortable space.

The best thing about it was the A/C units which worked very well and kept the apartment cool and very comfortable. I recommend this unit to anyone going to Maui who wants to stay in Kihei. Aloha. I had never been to Maui before and had never done a VRBO or any vacation home and was incredibly nervous because I heard horror stories. However, this was a great first experience and my family and I really enjoyed the condo. What you see online is what you get in person. The host accommodated us and allowed us to check in early. We weren't able to check out late but the early check in really made up for that. The washer and dryer was such a help and so was the dishwasher. The location is very walkable to restaurants, shopping, the beach, a park and the grocery store along with a bar and a nightclub. I wish I had brought my own hair dryer as the one at the condo did not heat up anymore. We also needed a ice cream scoop and I meant to buy one and leave it there, but family ate all the ice cream before I could get a scoop. Other than that, any kitchen gadget you can poasibly think of has already been thought of by this great host. Thank you for such a great stay and I highly recommend this condo and this host. Mahalo.

Only complaint I have is we were locked out of the room bc the keypad battery died, but luckily I had my phone and wallet. I called/messaged Diane, she got back to me in about an hour with spare key box code. For the price and location you can't beat it. I would recommend people to stay here.

We had the best time in Maui. Our spot was perfect. The location is conveniently located to a lot stores, restaurants, bars, and directly across from the beach. From our spot we were not far of a drive to the excursions we had planned for our trip. The pool was super clean and the view was gorgeous. Bbq grills were almost new and easy to use. Overall we would book this spot again.

We had such an amazing time in Maui and a lot of that had to do with the place we were staying at. The location was so convenient and close to many restaurants, shops and walking distance to the beach. Our fave was Charley Young Beach. The sunset was so beautiful from the lanai or you can walk over across the street to Cove park. The A/C was cold but we actually mostly just used the fans and opened our lanai. Diane is such a great host, quick and easy to respond to questions. We were so impressed by how much she’s provided to the unit and are so helpful like beach chairs/umbrella, snorkeling gear, cooking condiments, and so much more! My toddler loved the swimming pool and it was easily accessible through the lanai. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect balance of comfort, convenience, beauty and price. Hawaii is gorgeous but not inexpensive. This unit gives you a waterview, walk to shops,restaurants and beach. Walk to beaches or a short drive to fabulous Wailea beaches. It has cgairs, umbrella, friendly neighbors and comfortable beds. Great way to stay in Maui!

Everything was perfect staying at Diane’s place. Did surfing lessons a block away. Snorkeling 8 minutes away. Had breakfast on the back patio each morning. Kitchen well stocked. I will definitely be going back and staying at Diane’s place if it’s open. Had such an amazing time.

Great location in Kihei. If you like to walk, it is just south of the Kihei Triangle, with all the restaurants and Foodland, and just north of the great beaches like Kamaole Beach and an ABC store. Perfect in-between spot.
Condo itself was clean, full kitchen with beach amenities like chairs and towels. The complex itself was quiet, but I never did visit the pool area.
Diane was quick to answer all my silly tourist questions. Super friendly. Mahalo!

Absolutely loved the condo - the location close to the beach, restaurants and also that we were able to enjoy the sunsets from the lanai! The hostess has tastefully decorated the condo with artifacts from Hawaii. The kitchen, laundry area were thoughtfully stocked. We even had beach chairs, umbrella and snorkeling equipment! Would highly recommend this stay!

The cleanest condo we ever stayed in. It had all the important amenities. Newer and updated kitchen. All angels were thought of. Loved our location right across from the surfers cove. The neighboring guests were all so nice too. The only suggestion would be to get a new mattress for the pull out bed. It was pretty hard on the back. We would def go back to this condo. Diane's place was great. It's a prime location just a few minutes walk from the beach, to local food spots, foodland, etc. Place was super clean and was fully stocked as well. There was also a nice surprise of goodies including tennis rackets, umbrellas, and beach chairs. A/c blows cold in both living room and bedroom. The only con was the futon in the living room. The mechanism to convert to a bed is definitely faulty, so just be careful if you're planning to sleep on it. The futon mattress is also very thin and uncomfortable as well. I'm sure these could be easily addressed, so can't ding this place for that. The other mattresses were really comfy though!

We really enjoyed our stay at Diane’s condo. It is surrounded by everything you could hope for if your experiencing Maui for the first time. Everything was as described and the check in/ out process was very smooth. Diane also responds promptly to any questions. My kids called this their second home and asked when we are coming back. They really enjoyed the pool that overlooked the water. We also sat and ate on the patio in the mornings watching the waves and the evenings watching the beautiful sunsets. To add to everything the neighbors were wonderful. Just an overall sweet community of people that made our stay that much better. We will definitely return.

The property and place were just as amazing as the pictures show! What really stood out though, was Diane's professionalism. There was a small hiccup during check-in, and Diane picked up her phone right away. She got on top of the issue immediately and was beyond accommodating. She even checked in the next morning to make sure everything was taken care of and I had settled in well! I don't know what else you'd want from a host - reliable, easy to get in touch with, professional, amazing with follow-through! Plus a well-stocked kitchen and great location :-)

We picked this location because we wanted to surf and this condo was right across the street from Cove Park (the spot for beginning/intermediate surfers and where they give surfing lessons) and about a block from the surfboard rental shop. Even if you aren't planning to surf, it was a beautiful spot to drink your morning coffee out on the patio and watch the surfers. Kihei itself was the perfect location on the island for all of our sightseeing journeys. If you are planning on driving the road to Hana, heading up to Haleakala, having dinner in Lahaina, or going to Makena State Park in Wailea, Kihei is really the most convenient and central location to stay. The condo was clean and comfortable for our family of four. We have two teenage boys, so it was nice to have a twin bed in the same bedroom as the queen for one to sleep in and the sofa bed for the other. The beds were very comfortable, which is so important when you are on a long vacation. The condo had everything we needed for our days at the beach, including two beach chairs, a small cooler bag, beach towels, and swim masks. The only thing it didn't have that would have been nice was an umbrella. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. that are needed to eat in. The A/C worked great and was a must have; I can't imagine staying in a unit without it. The common areas were very well kept. The pool area was very nice and had three BBQ's for grilling and a great covered area to eat outside. The owner was very responsive when we notified her upon our arrival that there were only three beach towels. She had two towels delivered to our door by the next day. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay here again!

It was an excellent location and the property manager was very prompt in responses. Only pieces of feedback are that they should keep few more condiments to use and also fix the AC sensor in the living room so that it does not fall. Overall it was a great stay.
