BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. First time to Maui! This was a perfect place for our family to stay as it was right across from the beach, surf lessons, walkable to shops and restaurants and easy drive to beautiful resort like beaches in Wailea. The condo had everything we needed & our room was even ready early the day we arrived. The only concern was a noisy air conditioner in the main bedroom—but it was nice and cool. Great place to stay!! We will miss it!

This is the perfect place to stay if you dont' have a rental car in Kihei. It was super nice to be able to see the ocean right from the living room and also walk to eat and even get groceries. Our 7 year old loved the pool and hot tub being right by the unit.

This unit has a great location to the beach, food, and shops. All the the neighbours here (most being muti time return snow birds) were very welcoming and very nice. The building and pool area are very clean. Great sunset from this location as well. 100% recommend!

I really enjoyed staying at this condo. The property was well maintained. The pool was nice and the grilling area was great. There was lots of friendly people in the complex. I would stay here again.

The property is nicely decorated. We used the pool everyday. We know they just did pool deck maintenance and the deck looks beautiful. The gentleman who takes care of the maintenance of the property (pool deck, chairs, grills etc) is meticulous and does a fantastic job. We met some very nice people during our two week stay. You can walk to restaurants, beach and grocery store. We would definitely stay at The Shores of Maui again.

Very clean, very well-decorated and well-maintained property across Kihei Street from Cove Beach. Quiet and well situated for relaxation and recovery, with nearby food options from shave ice to Hawaiian plate lunch. If you want active, you’ve got it right across the way, and if you want quiet you’ve got it in the condo. On-site property manager Andy is an exceptional gem and tremendous asset.

The place was lovely but could use a few additional items to make a stay more enjoyable. The fitted sheet for the sofa bed was too small (likely a twin) so we just used the flat sheet and tucked it under mattress. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and the property only has 4 beach towels so we had to purchase 4 more at ABC store and then pack them and take them home. A property should at least have 2 beach towels per occupant allowed in residence. I had to wash towels every night and never had extras ready. Also, spices to cook with would be nice as well. Only had salt. Everything else was great. We’d stay here again. The beach chairs and cooler were wonderful things to have as well!
