We have stayed at the Shores of Maui previously.
The location is perfect! Walking distance to beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping. The condos overlook Cove Park which hosts surf school and many local paddle board surfers daily. The owners have at some point paid to bury the power lines which provide an unobstructed view of the ocean…. Fabulous!
The Shores of Maui pool is amazing, and has a hot tub which is rare for Maui! They have barbecues and abundant dining in the pool area which is so convenient for BBQ while enjoying the pool!
The unit had many amenities such as beach chairs, umbrella and soft ice cooler, toaster, plenty of dishes, glasses and amenities, etc. we really enjoyed the offered kitchen amenities.
The unit itself had dated decor, carpet in living and bedrooms, decor consistent with 1990’s. Could certainly use a refresh but was clean.
The only downside from our stay in this unit was the many messages found everywhere in the unit about applying sunscreen, using A/C, sand in the washing machine….. on and on. I understand that this owner/property manager may have had problematic guests in the past but as a responsible 57 year old woman. I felt offended by all of the in your face messages.
For this reason alone, I would choose an alternate unit on my next visit to Shores of Maui.

Very clean and quiet unit. Although the owner provided for a lot of outdoor/beach amenities, we did not use them. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment.

Our stay at this condo was amazing. You cannot beat the location!! The sunsets from the lanai are the most amazing sunsets ever and the place is walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and beaches. The best snorkeling we did all trip was basically right across the street (5 minute walk) at Charley Young Beach. The location was truly the best part of the place. We would 1000% stay at this condo again. The condo building is quiet and felt safe.
The condo itself could use some updating for example, it would be nice if there was a proper table and chairs on the lanai as the two half tables made it a bit awkward to sit and eat at together. With that being said, the place itself is cute and feels truly Hawaiian. The new AC's are a HUGE bonus. We will never stay in Maui again without AC in the bedroom or the place. HUGE bonus. The condo was well stocked with towels and all the necessities to get you started. The beach chairs, cooler, and pool noodles were used the entire trip. However, the beach umbrella was broken which was not great given the heat in Maui on those beaches, but that was just a free addition to the condo so can't complain too much about that. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and it was a nice break from the beaches or in the evening when we needed it.
Jamie was quick and efficient to reply when we needed her! Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Maui!!!

Nice property, great Kihei neighborhood and a wonderful view of Cove park. Enjoyed sunsets from the lanai and park each evening. Pool and hot tub were well maintained. The sofa bed didn’t come with any extra bedding and we paid extra for a 3rd person, this was the only issue we had during our stay. Mahalo!

A great little place to enjoy Kihei and explore the island. Nicely stocked with all the kitchen items you could need. The AC is a major bonus after a day in the sun. AC in the bedroom is also a huge bonus. The place gets cooled down in about 15 minutes! Loved the extra equipment being available to help enjoy the beaches (chairs, coolers, etc.). Highly recommend this place and will likely be back!

Love the property. Nice view of the ocean and really close to a number of shops/restaurants. Plus, the general location was a good central point to do Road to Hana, Haleakala, and Lahiana. Property manager communicated all expectations throughout the process, and was responsive to any questions or requests. Will definitely rebook if we’re back in Maui.

We had a great stay at this apartment. We stayed in this condo complex before and loved it. We wanted to stay in this condo complex again which is why we chose this apartment. It was exactly as described. Clean and spacious, enough room for 3 adults. It is a bit dated and could use a refresh but we felt the same away about the other unit we stayed in before. This is because it’s an older building. Great view from the balcony. We used the amenities (pool, bbq, tennis courts) every day. Short walk to Charley Young and across the street from a good surfing beach. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach supplies (chairs, coolers, umbrella) could be updated. It functions but most is somewhat broken or breaking. That’s really the only thing I would change. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Property as described in great location, would stay again. One thing I would like to see is more hot water. It ran out very quickly so taking a shower had to be fast and would leave you with lukewarm water. Not enough hot water for a bath. Trying to find the code for the pool and road gate took awhile going through all the documents/e-mails. Recommend it be clearly posted in the unit. Too many cleaning requirements upon leaving including doing laundry, dishes and walking trash to dumpster at opposite end of complex. In a hurry trying to depart by early checkout time (and do my own laundry) and the price paid includes cleaning fees.

Just loved staying here. You can walk to a great beach, and everything else. Saw whales from the Lanai on the first morning. Gorgeous sunsets. Nicely equipped with chairs and umbrella. Can't wait to come back!

We came to Maui for a week of respite and enjoyed the stay. The room was nice but dated and not as clean as we hoped, but comfortable. The bed was good, although the room was decorated rather dark and old. Pool was wonderful. Beach across the street and great walking distance to just about anything!

This property was EXACTLY like the listing. Wonderful neighborhood. When we arrived exhausted, we found this condo to be extra clean and stocked with essentials to get us started. The owner was delightful to work with. Location, location, location. Clean, fresh water pool located right across from the ocean. 3 new BBQ grills made it nice to break up our stay with chilaxing at the pool. Such friendly tenants and neighbors! Location is everything - not all Kihei properties are in a good spot relative to everything else - but this one is PERFECT! Walking distance, if desired, to Foodland, Cafe O'Lei, snorkel and surf rental, Three's, Local Boys Shave Ice, etc. Practically on top of Kamaole 1/Charlie Young beach, which is one of my favorites. It was so lovely to see the folks surfing in the ocean from our balcony! And we discovered a super cool outdoor skate rink which was full of local kids on a lovely Friday evening. The unit itself is very clean and having the ability to run powerful AC was such a blessing when we got back in the heat of the afternoon. Parking was super easy and the price was incredibly reasonable. We are very happy with our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jamie's condo and highly recommend staying here. Jamie was very responsive to any questions I had before booking our trip.
The check-in process was a breeze and extremely convenient, especially with our delayed midnight flight.
The place was extremely clean and you have everything you need there. It is also right across from the water with a really nice view. Internet speed is fantastic and also has a large tv.
There is also an outdoor swimming pool which is very well maintained and nice to cool down in. On top of that, they also have a tennis court so make sure to bring your tennis racket to take advantage of it.
Most importantly, the air conditioning is fantastic and kept us at just the right temperature (there are remotes to easily adjust it too). There is an air conditioning unit in both the living room and the bedroom. It cools the place down very quickly and allowed us to have a comfortable night's sleep, even when it was super hot outside.
The condo complex is very quiet which was great. There are no designated parking stalls, but it was very easy to find a closeby empty stall. It's also located very closely to a lot of dining options, including the Kihei Caffe which is a must for breakfast.
This was a wonderful place to stay and we wouldn't want to stay in any other neighbourhood in Maui. Staying here felt like home. Highly recommended.

Location location location!
The condo was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect location for us because my daughter loves to surf. We could look out at the waves and run over for a quick surf. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels and beach coolers, chairs, and an umbrella for a great day at the beach.
Jamie was very quick to respond with any of my questions.
Back room was a bit warm, but we adjusted with the breeze from the ocean.

Sweet spot right across the street from the water and choice location for walking to paia fish market and other ono cafes.
Bed is firm and comfortable. Apartment has all the towels and bedding, kitchen gadgets and accessories needed for cooking and eating. Space is comfortable for two adults. Lots of fans are available and are needed, we had the bedroom windows open and the lanai door open with all the fans on at night to keep cool, the breeze was lovely. Very quite neighbors and area. Ate dinner on the lanai and watched the sunset.
We would definitely stay again.

We had a grand time in Maui and a great deal was largely due to this fantastic place we stayed in. The unit was clean and has all the amenities and supplies we needed during our stay. The host is very gracious. One item to point out was the unit aircon - not a stopper but would be nice if could cool down the unit a bit more during warm nights. Overall still 5 out of 5!

If your goal is to have a safe, comfortable place to lay your head at night and a balcony from which to sip your coffee while watching the surfers catch early morning waves, look no further! The accommodations were just as described, perfectly simple. We traveled in early April and were able to let the cool, cross breeze in through the front and back screen doors both morning and night. The bedroom also has a number of fans; we did not use the air conditioning unit and stayed very comfortable. From the condo, a number of EXCELLENT restaurants and shops are just a short walk away. We rented a car and had no problem parking in the condo parking lot. As a first time visitor to Maui, Kihei was recommended as a central location to more easily explore the island. Not only is the town a great home-base, the condo is perfectly located in Kihei whether you're walking to eat with the locals, grab a coffee in the gardens, catch a surf lesson or driving to the local grocery store. The neighbor even stopped by to drop-off some homemade mango bread, bonus!

This Kihei Condo gives you a real local feel. Many of the residents live there year round. There are plenty of activities to do and you're directly across the street from several parks. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed mornings watching the Surfer's and Paddle boarding from the deck. Parking was easy seemed to be enough spots for the property. The condo was comfortable and clean everything worked has it should. Aloha.

I can’t speak any higher of this rental. The location was right across the beach and everything was in walking distance from cafes, restaurants and night life bars.
We were extremely appreciative of all the extra things that came with the rental such as beach towels, beach chairs, floaties, sitting mats, laundry machine with tide pods and a fully stocked kitchen. That really helped us save a lot of money and avoid having to buy stuff for our outings.
The location itself on the island was a huge plus as other towns outside of Kihei were only 20-30mins drives away in either direction. If you’re planning to see a lot of different stuff across the entire island, this is the rental you want. The drive to other places is really convenient.

Jamie was a responsive host. The condo was clean and has a gorgeous view! Walking distance to food/grocery. Only downside (if you can find one while in Maui!!!) is the AC didn’t seem to reach the bedroom. Plenty of fans are available, but I like it cool when I sleep. Fortunately there’s a pullout bed in the living room. Also, shower drained slow… could of just got clogged up with the guests before us, so not the hosts fault.

We absolutely enjoyed this stay! It is located in a very central location and a close walk to a lot of restaurants, beaches, and Foodland (has yummy poke). We also enjoyed all the amenities this stay offered (bougie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, sun umbrella, etc.) Also, the balcony was amazing and had the best view of the sunset! There is so much more I can go on about this stay but I highly recommend it and will come back again!

The unit is in a great location. It has everything you need. The ocean view is spectacular. You can see the sunset, sun rise, moon set and moonrise from the same unit. There are lots of shops, grocery stores, restaurants in walking distance. Its truly a central location. The check in process is very easy and orderly. All the instructions are clear. The host is responsive and answers any questions you may have.

This place was super awesome! The apartment was clean upon arrival and stocked with all the necessities. It did get hot in the room, but as stated the AC is quick to cool it off. The best parts were the view from the lanai and the free and always available parking. It is walking distance from lots of restaurants in Kihei and you can see the sunset right from lanai.
I would totally stay here again.

Perfect location for all to do in Kihei, and easy access to North Maui too. Get the best of both worlds. The condo is super cozy, perfect for chillin on the lanai, eating/preparing meals....all of our needs were met. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property while visiting my son. It was clean, organized and had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the beach from our balcony and pool area was great. Management communicated everything we needed to know. I hope to stay here again in the future. Pricing is reasonable for the accommodations. Highly recommend.

This property is very clean and well-stocked. There are many thoughtful items included in the unit, such as all kitchen utensils, laundry detergent, sand toys and beach chairs. It is also very quiet. Many times we had the pool to ourselves. The lanai is great and comfortably seats 4 for meals or morning coffee looking at the ocean! Two great parks are right across the street with great sand, surfing and snorkeling. Plus the grocery store, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
