Loved the welcome bag with local treats. I saw a few negative reviews about cleanliness but I found it spotless. The carpet is cream colored and older so it’s not perfect but the unit was very large, open, fantastic ocean view from the large lanai. The only slight negatives are that I received a note from the office saying I failed to register ( I did but apparently my not having a car confused them) and when I went to use the pool I wasn’t allowed due to an HOA meeting). Neither of these were big deals and I’d definitely stay here again. Overall it’s a really great place!

Love Maui Kamaole, the grounds are beautiful and the pools and hot tubs are great! The only downside of the condo was the lack of an oven. There was a microwave oven but not as functional as we would have liked. Also make sure to bring your own spices! Otherwise the lani and view were perfect 🤩

This was a good stay. I had to take a star away for the smell of the air conditioning and the level of insect activity. Both a/c units (the bedroom and the living room) had a urine odor that my google search indicates can come from a bacterial build-up when the units have drainage issues. The musty smell did abate when we left the doors open- but as we were supposed to close and lock the doors when we left or went to sleep, there wasn't really enough time to air out the smell. The bugs weren't a surprise, as the instructions clearly indicated that we should remove garbage every day and never leave food out on the counters- but the very first thing that happened was I opened the "house rules" book on the kitchen counter, and a tiny roach crawled out. There was definitely no food there yet. It did convince us to take the rules seriously, but was not exactly thrilling. Some good points: the furniture is comfortable! The bed was great, the couch was nice, the big chair was surprisingly comfy, and the dining table was a good size. The patio furniture was decent. I would have liked SOME kind of seating in the bedroom lanai, but the main lanai is private enough that I didn't miss it too much. The condo is located conveniently to both pools, and the grounds are lovely. Overall, I don't know that I would choose this unit again, but I wouldn't rule it out.

Absolutely loved the location of this condo! Very clean when we arrived, beautiful views of the ocean. Enjoyed the pool, also very clean! Within walking distance of restaurants and coffee. We almost stayed at a hotel resort but we are all very glad we stayed here instead. Would definitely return!

There were several items that would have made the stay much more comfortable. Such as things in the kitchen like a bread knife, Saran Wrap, tin foil, a better coffee pot and dish cloths. The other was that the wifi was very slow and the kids couldn’t stream their shows. There were lots of towels and that was very helpful. The twin beds were the favourite among the kids.

Location is good close to restaurants. Very clean and smooth check in and out. You need a car in order to explore the island (true to every place). One comment, please have a crib option to family with infant, it costs nothing, and save the headache of getting one. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and we recommend it!

Maui Kamaole is a beautiful complex. The complex is meticulously maintained & is beautifully landscaped. The unit is large, very close to the pool with waterfall, private & quiet. The unit itself needs some work. The furniture is fine however the unit requires re-painting & a deep clean. The walls are stained & marked. Our first day the internet stopped worked so I tried to reset the modem myself. All of the electronic equipment was covered in dust & grime. The manager came in & got the internet working by late afternoon We used the washing machine on our 4th day & discovered a big leak that flowed into the hallway floor. We stopped using the machine and spoke to the manager. They came, pulled the machine out & and behind it was garbage & things that had fallen down behind & very dirty. Unfortunately the machine could not be repaired before we checked out as a part had to be ordered from off island which we understand. The communication about the repairs & machine were not good. The machine could not be pushed back in the cupboard so for the rest of our stay it was partly in the hallway & the cupboard doors could not be closed. The patio light had burned out but the owner asked if I could change it which required me to stand on a rattan bar stool to reach. In hindsight, this was not a safe thing for me to do. The owner mentioned that each call to the manager was expensive. The 2nd bedroom (windowless) has a broken table lamp switch & does not work.

Aloha, From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The condo is beautifully maintained and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your time in Maui. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing meals. One of the highlights was the lanai with comfortable cushioned lounges to watch the sunset. It's a great location a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Keith (the owner) is extremely responsive and will ensure your stay is enjoyable. We can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful extended stay at Todd & Sandy’s beautiful home in Maui Kamaole. They had all the beach toys (for adults and children) and you can’t beat the MK location for walking to beaches, restaurants and shopping.

We enjoyed the tropical garden patio. We loved that the condo was well equipped from beach gear to kitchen gadgets. The unit feels comfy and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were excellent. The location is great. Very near the upper pool and close to a bbq area. This is a nice quiet part of the complex away from the noisy road.

We loved the ground floor access with a spacious grass area and ocean view from the back sliders. Check in was a breeze with clear and simple instructions for using the amenities and check out. Great location, out of the fray of Kekei and right at Wailea. Beautiful views great for whale watching and fabulous sunsets. The big inside of the unit has been totally refurbished with all of the creature comforts you could need as well as beach equipment. Walk across the street to the Kehei boat ramp area and see lots of turtles. Stay here, you will not be disappointed

Joe and Linda’s M-110 condo is a little slice of paradise! As an end unit away from the highway, it offers a quiet and private retreat, perfect for couples looking to relax. The location is ideal—close to the pool but far enough to avoid any noise. The condo is well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including two bathrooms, which makes getting ready hassle-free.The king-size bed was a dream—both my husband and I have bad backs, yet we slept incredibly well. The Maui Kamaole complex is just across from Kamaole Beach III, and the walk to the beach takes only about five minutes.What truly set this stay apart was Joe and Linda’s attentiveness. This was my ninth trip to Hawaii using VRBO, and I’ve never had owners check in to ensure everything was going smoothly or see if we needed anything. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.If you’re a couple (or even a solo traveler) looking for a peaceful, well-appointed condo in a great location, this is the perfect place to stay. This is the second time my family has stayed at this complex. The complex itself is in a great location and is within a 5-10 minute drive of most destinations in south Maui. The pool is also great for days when you don’t feel like going to the beach. The condo is very comfortable and feels like a home away from home. I would definitely book again for future trips.

We have been to many verbs, some even right at Maui Kamaole, and nothing compares to Tanya’s very lovely abode. It was simply the best and we felt right at home. She has thought of everything, from kitchen items to plenty of extra blankets and shampoo, soap, to beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and coolers. She even had extra sunscreen which was very nice. The unit itself is very quiet and private. Sitting at the lanai off the main level you can actually see the ocean. You are very close to the beach and many eateries. Beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. The only very minor thing we noticed was feeling the springs whenever we sat on the sofa that was not so comfy, which was not a big deal because we didn’t use the sleeper sofa or stay in much. All in all, Tanya’s place is the best, Tanya is great and an excellent communicative host, and we can’t wait to come back again soon.

Just returned from a wonderful, long over-due trip to Maui! The condo was in a beautiful area in south Kihei and was perfect for our stay. The property grounds were meticulously maintained. Frederica was amazing to deal with, especially in answering my many many questions within a reasonable time frame. Definitely recommend this condo to others and would absolutely consider renting again in the future :)

We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. It's really well stacked with everything you can possibly need. The place was clean and bright, the pool and hot tub were a hit with my kids. The location can't be beat: you are within a walking distance to beaches and shopping.The only few things worth noting are: W/D machines are VERY loud. Dryer especially sounds like it could stand to be replaced. The accordion doors in the hallway could stand to be replaced too as they are coming undone. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, having meals out on a beautiful lanai and would definitely stay here again.

Property was as described and looked just like the pictures, patio view was actually even better in person. Checkin and out was easy and self managed, lots of instructions were provided about the unit and complex. Location was great, just down from Kamole 3 and great snorkelling with lots of turtles right in front next to Marina. Property was comfortable and felt like a home, kitchen was well serviced but there was only very basic food supplies (salt and pepper but no spices or coffee supplies etc). Beds and pillows were comfortable but there were limited linens and no other sets of sheets to change over, so had to allow for a laundry day. It was really nice to have some beach supplies in the deck storage cabinet (chairs and umbrellas and cooler bags). We only ran into one mechanical issue; with the main bedroom AC and while the property management company was quick to reply and did come and provide a temp unit, repairs to the actual AC were not made during our stay so left us with an open window/no curtains and a bulky/noisy temp unit in its place, but it did help with the temp/humidity control. The complex was beautiful, and the grounds were some of the nicest in Kihei. The closer pool was heated but more of an open/lap pool, the further pool was beautiful and very tropical, but it was not heated and to cool for swimming. The BBQs at the property were well placed and very clean and parking spot was right outside our door. Would choose this location again.
