Beautiful spot to take the family! We took our two younger kids and spent our days at the beaches and pool. The second bedroom is on the smaller size but our kids loved it.
The place cooled down very quickly compared to the loft we stayed in for the second part of our trip.

It was a wonderful experience overall. The only complaint I have is the towels had that spoiled smell so we had to buy 4 and brought them home with us. Also, both umbrellas were broken and all of the chairs but two were broken/damaged. The unit itself was great and we found the beds to be very comfortable.

What minor problems we encountered were quickly addressed by the manager/owner. The washing machine broke (bummer for was a newer washer unit in good condition) and amazingly this manager/owner did our laundry for us as a replacement part was on order. Wow!
Newer pans in kitchen and plenty of plates. Nice things/towels/chairs to take to beach. This unit had a recliner, which my mother in law prefers as she travels with us. This is a “no stairs in unit or from parking to location” unit so great for MIL and accompanying friend who is an amputee.
The keypad entry code did “expire” 15 min before our 11 am checkout fell due - so make sure you have 100% of your stuff out because won’t be getting back in easily if forget your water bottle etc. We ended up leaving a few food items in fridge that we had intended to the throw out so as to ease cleaners’ jobs, but couldn’t get back in to finish the job as locked out 15 min early. Overall M-105 is a great unit in quietest part of Maui Kamaole - this is my 6th/7th Maui Kamaole stay; best condos in south Maui.

Our family of four had a great stay! The condo was one of the most updated ones we've stayed at with modern furnishings and appliances (it was nice to have a washer and dryer that wasn't from the 80s). Our kids loved how we had access to two different pools (one that's steps away and the other "waterfall" pool a 2-minute walk away). The beach was exactly a 10 minute walk and we appreciated the provided sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, and coolers.
A few pointers for those looking:
- It's a second floor unit in case you have mobility issues.
- While the beach is a short 10 minute walk, the condo is on a small hill, so just know that you'll need to make a (very) light climb in case you have mobility issues or small kids. The paved sidewalk route also has stairs in case you have strollers.
- We had ants which is expected of island life, but just know that you'll need to keep the counters clean and take out the garbage daily. With that said the property management team was super responsive in providing us some sprays to keep them under control.
None of these things bothered us, but calling them out for awareness. Top notch location, amenities, communication, and cleanliness. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We've been coming to Maui Kamaole for many years now, and although all our homes here have been wonderful, Eric and Betsy's truly stands out. The unit was sparkling clean, beautifully appointed, and outfitted with everything we could need. They are excellent communicators, to boot. We couldn't have had a more wonderful stay.

I can recommend, polite hoster, responded quickly, excellent communication. The house had almost everything you need, except soap, shampoo, tea, coffee and sugar (just don't forget to buy these little things for yourself). Quiet place, although close to the pool. Don't forget to fill out the online form for car registration upon arrival. The nearest shops are 10 minutes away by car. Minus one point because of a nuance that I will inform the host personally, it is easily fixed. I will repeat once again that the place is good and I recommend visiting.

My wife and I had a great stay with our infant. The property had ample space and amazing ocean views. We could see the sunset from the patio. Everything was as advertised.

The good:
-the nearby pool was terrific, especially for our baby.
-it is located minutes from some amazing beaches.
-the unit included beach chairs and umbrellas that were handy.
The bad:
-the place was crawling with cockroaches. There were 3 dead ones when we arrived. We saw several lives ones crawling in cupboards, the dishwasher, and in bathrooms during our stay. We know to expect some on the island, but this was well beyond what we’ve encountered in other Maui visits.
-we asked the property manager if there was anything they can do to curb the roaches. She said she would look into it. We had to follow up with her several times. The best she could do was get the property to spray it 5 days after we left (and after another guest was set to check in).
-we then felt the need to take excessive protective measures while we were there to try and give ourselves peace of mind.
-there was no shampoo, conditioner, body wash, which was annoying and wasteful to have to buy just for our one-week stay. Other properties we’ve stayed at included these.
-the beds were comfortable enough but they were very squeaky (likely old). We woke up our baby just crawling into bed which seems excessively noisy.
-the patios off the master bedroom were not maintained and just unusable.
Overall, the unit layout and functionality was good. Our experience with the bugs and the dismissal from the property manager completely ruined the experience and left us feeling uneasy and uncomfortable for our stay.

This property was nice. We would stay here again. Just a few things…the cabinets in the kitchen showed a bit of wear and tear and need some attention. The bedroom on the main level had a mildew smell in it. It might be from the filter in the air conditioner, but not sure. The shower head in the upstairs master bathroom needs to be replaced. I did appreciate that it had a hose attached, but I couldn’t get it to switch over to use it. One last thing we wish the pool area would stay open until 10:00pm. The security guards were very nice who patrolled the property.

Really enjoyed the amenities. The pool, tennis courts, and BBQ were very close to the unit. Beach, stores, and restaurants were also nearby. Loved that there were beach and pool gear to use. Definitely appreciated the washer and dryer. When we first arrived the kitchen had yellow sauce or something dripped on the counters. The carpet also had some sticky substance which I accidentally stepped on barefoot. Aside from a few areas, this place was for the most part clean. The downstairs tub faucet continued to leak. I called to report this, they stated a work order had been placed, but no one came to address the issue during our stay there. The leak didn’t bother us and it wasn’t emergent, but it seemed like something that needed to be addressed at some point. The upstairs bathroom window did not have any blinds or drapes leaving you to feel a bit exposed. I don’t think other people from outside would be able to see you, but certainly people staying with you could if they walked upstairs. Overall we did enjoyed our stay here. Great for families. Great communication from Vacasa. Check in was easy, we arrived much earlier than actual check in time, but we received a text saying we were able to check in early, which worked out very well for us. We enjoyed our time and would consider returning.

We had a great stay in Kamaole D12. The location was very convenient next to some of the most beautiful beaches in Maui. The condo had everything we needed and it was very quiet which was important to us. I appreciated that they had beach towels as we didnt bring any with us. The only thing was the matress and pillows were a little too soft but overall we had a great time. I would recommend this place especially to families with little children!

There were a few drawers in the kitchen that need a little work as they come off the track. Also, a few more options for pillows (flat and puffy) would be nice. This unit is adequate, but nothing special. There are steep steps up to the unit and steep steps to the upstairs bedroom and bath (the Master). Beware you will need to carry your luggage and groceries up the outside stairs and luggage up the interior stairs. The outdoor light at the front door blinks, making it difficult to see the keypad. The unit comes with 3 rolls of TP in each bath, rolls that have VERY thin paper and are not regular sized rolls. They are quite small. Same for the paper towels. There is no overhead lighting in either bedroom making it hard to see things even in daylight with all the shutters opened. In the bathroom downstairs, there is mold around the shower door and it is brown and needs to be replaced. It looks very dirty. The kitchen is stocked well with the basics for cooking and eating in. When we tried to BBQ the BBQs near the unit were not working. Overall, a big disappointment. The management company was responsive and nice to work with but needs to provide better quality in the starter kit. Great view from the balcony! Also, on the positive side, the A/C worked very well. Keep in mind everyone's point of reference is different and some would be very satisfied with this unit.

Great condo. Pretty lanai. Larger than expected. A family of 4 would be fine here. Loved the beach amenities. The pool is smallish but gorgeous. The walk to the beach is a bit further than expected ( walk down is ok, you have to cross the highway and walk down a bit; the walk back up with gear is not bad but it's all uphilll). The staff was super responsive and lovely. The geckos sing to you at night :-) Nice place for first stay on the south side.

There was a bit of trouble (and it took several days) with getting registered through the management company but they were very helpful in figuring it out. This place is very convenient and has a nice pool. It fit the 5 of us but 6 would be a push since 2 people would need to be on the pull out couch. Kitchen was nicely equipped!!

Great condo to stay in Kihei. Condo has two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to make a meal. Lovely lanai to sit out and enjoy the sun. Condo comes with beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear and coolers. Condo was clean. Enjoyed the pool areas also. Located across the street from Kam 3 beach. Great location to travel to all of Maui's attractions.

There are three lanai’s, one very large one of a perfect view of ocean and sunsets. The condo has everything for a beach day, kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. We had some unforeseen maintenance issues that happened, not to anyone’s fault, things sometimes happen.
