Love the location of this condo. Furnishings were comfortable. This is our 3 time to Maui Kamaole and this was the best. The only downside is that they really need to add cushions to the outdoor furniture. Could only sit on the outdoor furniture for 30mins at a time.

Our stay was incredible. The view was perfection and the bar height table and chairs on the patio made it our favourite spot to congregate. The beds were very comfortable and both rooms were generously sized (we were 2 couples traveling and it can sometimes be hard as 1 room is usually the obvious master). Our unit was attractive, well-equipped and had a view of the mountain and the ocean, but the master bed was super-soft. Our solution was to remove the foam mattress from the sleeper sofa and put it on the MB floor. Not ideal, but it worked. Unfortunately the management company did not help us out on this.

This is our second stay at this condo, and it was great both times. Good location, walk to food. Beaches across the street and 2 pools. Awesome unit with everything you need for the beach including boogie boards and snorkel gear. Great turtle beach across the street just south of the boat launch. When looking at the water just over the jetty of the boat launch is a small beach where we saw at least 2 turtles each afternoon/evening laying on the beach. We'll be back again.

Overall, a well maintained, cheery, welcoming unit. Excellent A/C, laundry machines. The total absence of carpet meant there were zero mold or odor problems. The patio is the quietest & most private we've enjoyed at this complex. Unfortunately, there were two small glitches in the kitchen. The stove didn't work well, and the pest-control traps that management provided were only partly effective. Still, we loved our stay in J-104.

Great location and added bonus the ocean view. Very clean and well stocked with everything mentioned on listing. Property management company was very attentive with communication. One downside is the beds were not super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at this property. The grounds are very beautiful and well taken care of. We spent time at the upper pool and it was really nice, loved that the hot tub was really hot. The unit was very clean and had most things you could need, minus a crib. Morning coffee on the balcony was perfect. We loved that there was a wagon for the babe, snorkel gear, chairs, and beach toys.
The only thing to consider is the location is slightly further out of the hub. Makes it so quiet and peaceful (and the beach across the street,
Kamaole 111 is so lovely), but just a little too far to walk for coffee or meals so extra driving was required.

The location is great as prefer S Kihei and close to best beaches. The pool was just around corner of condo and quite nice. Nice big deck downstairs but hot in afternoon. Upstairs deck not usable w/ hot a/c air blowing. The biggest downside was the stairs to get into condo & upper BR. Knew there were stairs but didn’t realize how many/how steep. In shape but hard taking suitcases up/down & tired after day at beach. You can’t just walk to beaches, restaurants, etc like you can most condos in area. Unit is located near top of steep hill so had to drive everywhere. We had family of 5 staying here including 3 y.o. who got up early. We could hear everyone downstairs from upstairs bedrm (closed off by sliding shutters) even if they just coughed. My granddaughter was pretty quiet but know your group if that will work for you. Lots of beach toys, snorkel, boards etc. all stocked in deck closet. My son and dtr-in-law both said they enjoyed their stay but concerned that stove knobs turned the stove on with slightest of bump if near it. 1st time, it burned a pizza box sitting on it. We smelled it quickly but stove got turned on high several times during stay without pushing any knobs. We were then hyper-vigilante to check it before leaving kitchen and not let toddler go in. There should be sign in kitchen warning of this. They should replace it as oven doesn’t display temperature either & also old shag carpet. We found ants in shower downstairs bathrm last night, coming from fan.

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying at Maui Kamaole condo complex and it is always wonderful. Great location close to Wailea beaches and Kihei fun and food. The unit was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The gift bag was sweet and yummy and the board games fun! Beach supplies were appreciated.
Only issue we had was the sleeper sofa - I think time for a new mattress. We took it off couch and laid it on floor for one of our kids, but still felt every spring.

I rented 3 units for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Of the 3 units, H-111 was the best.The unit was very clean and very well equipped for our stay.My wife and I stayed in H-111 and the rest of the family stayed in the other 2 units also in H block.Th amount of seating, tables and eating utensils made it easy for the 10 of us to utilize H-111 as our dinner location and it was great to be on a ground floor location for the grand kids to roar around in the evening,A super holiday experience made easy.

Condo was in excellent condition and CLEAN. The two bed/two bath was very welcome for our family as we had plenty of room to spread out. The abundance of beach gear was great along with walking distance to the beach. Convenient to have two pools on the property that were well maintained and managed.
The games and children's books were a nice touch and we enjoyed looking through the guest book.
We will definitely book again if we return to Maui and wish we had stayed longer this time around!

Upon arrival we found the property clean, tidy, tastefully decorated. It is a very nice condo in a very nice location. Could sit on the lanai and watch the whales jumping. A great ocean view.
The negative: we did have a problem with roaches. Management was quick to respond and try to rectify the situation. Only wish it would have been dealt with before our arrival.

Our rental had the most spectacular view, was super quiet, was easy to keep cool for sleeping, was very clean and comfortable, and had comfortable beds for sleeping. The kitchen had the basics, but maybe could use a few more convenience items ( plastic storage containers to use at beach and pool for snacks, plastic wrap and aluminum foil, a 1-2 day supply of coffee, cooking spray.). Otherwise, everything was perfect! The supplies shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was very nice. 4 nice beach towels, beach mats, and some pool/beach items were also provided. This rental was just perfect! Beautiful view, cozy interior, SO MANY AMENITIES (from sunscreen to aluminum foil, sharp knives, and a variety of pans, sand toys and body boards, extra towels and wash cloths.) WE were truly able to just buy food this trip and cook as much as we wanted at the condo (they even had some great spices and cooking spray). They had games for us to play with the kids, a few toys. The unit was beautifully decorated and just perfect! Loved the pool and hot tub. The unit has a nice, big parking spot that fit a minivan nicely. Such a beautiful lanai too for watching sunset! Pretty easy to walk to Kamaole 3 from here! We walked to restaurants too (but took our stroller for kids). All of check-in and out information was communicated promptly to us by text and email. So easy to check-in and get settled. Thanks so much for allowing us to use this lovely condo for our family vacation!!

The property's location and amenities were fantastic, particularly the pool. However, there were several issues with the interior that detracted from the overall experience. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable, the TVs outdated with limited channel options, and the guestbook was poorly maintained. Additionally, the kitchen utensils and cookware were mismatched and in poor condition. Despite these shortcomings, the beauty of Maui still made for an enjoyable stay. Addressing these issues could greatly enhance the overall experience for future guests.

Communication with the owner and with the management staff was excellent: timely and helpful. The unit was perfect for us: grandparents (2) + young family of 4 (dad, mom, 4 yo, 1 yo) All basic kitchen, bath, beach equipment and furniture was provided. Even had kitchen supplies that were not expected such as coffee, coffee filters, utensil. We bought way more than we needed for a week's stay and left some non-perishables for the next family. Hope that was all right; couldn't take it on the plane and didn't want to waste. But we tried our best to share with other members of our party in other units. Swimming pool was close walking distance and we spent a lot of time there. Even had a small birthday party there. Security was always present so all pool experiences were fine. One issue might be important depending on the guest. Stairs to 2nd floor front door, and stairwell to loft are steep and probably more than a dozen steps each (I think; it seemed like it) Might be a bit hard on some seniors and others with problems walking up multiple steps. Otherwise, everyone in our party was delighted with the unit. They especially were impressed with the beach toys, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, etc, and abundance of furniture, as well as the good condition everything was in - except the handle for the dryer was missing. Management sent a handyman the next day and solved the problem. Very impressed with management's prompt response. Thank you for a nice staycation.

We stayed in this unit during our second visit to Maui Kamaole. Upon arrival the unit was clean and exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, there were a few cockroaches throughout our stay and many teeny tiny bugs in the kitchen, but they were not a big deal. The location of the unit was very convenient for the lower pool and great with kids. The king bed seemed very comfy, but we gave it to the kids and slept on the pull out coach. Comfort-wise it was alright, but it was extremely loud. Turning over in the night felt like you’d wake the whole unit! Also, the AC in the living room did not seem to work correctly and would only come on for about 30 seconds at a time, but very often. Due to that, we hardly used it but the ceiling fans and open slider doors were enough to keep the unit cool. When we visited last year, our unit came with all the necessary beach gear like chairs, umbrella, toys, boogie boards, towels, etc. Unfortunately, this unit only had 2 chairs and an umbrella. This was still very useful, but we ended up buying a few beach towels, a cooler backpack, beach bags and beach toys. We left them with the unit, but I’m not sure they will stay. Hopefully they can be left for future guests to enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed as well, though was not stocked with any necessities like tin foil, spices, oils, etc. There were a couple ice packs and ice cube trays which we used daily. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would return any day.

We were there for six weeks and loved every minute. We would highly recommend this spot and we have stayed at multiple rentals around the island. The view is incredible and it is very quiet with all the amenities you need. Plenty of room to spread out. We had two friends visit for a few days and our son come for a week but the rest of the time it was just the two of us. It's more than enough room for two and perfect for a family. Just know the second bedroom is a large bedroom and bath upstairs as essentially a loft that is open on one side with the downstairs living room below so not total privacy. We stayed at Walt & Carol's condo with my husband, two children (ages 4 & 6) and in-laws. There was plenty of room for us to all stay and the pull-out-couch in the living room was so comfortable! You can tell that Walk & Carol really want their visitors to enjoy their stay with all the information they provide, plus all the available amenities for guests to use. The property was stunning, and we spent so much time at both pools. I would highly recommend this property - thank you Walt & Carol for the amazing memories!

I don't know if I can say enough good things about this lovely condo and the even lovelier hosts. Kevin went out of his way to make us feel warmly welcomed - and helped us coordinate around wedding events nearby.
The condo was so well set up for a family - our daughters loved having the two twin beds in their own room, and we all enjoyed eating meals on the beautiful terrace with lush tropical views. The kitchen was beyond well set up - it had literally everything we could possibly need, including a rice cooker.
The beach gear - chairs, umbrella, sand toys, snorkeling masks, etc - was a game changer.
And then the nearby pool... it was absolutely perfect for our young children. Only 3.5' deep throughout almost the entire pool, we felt so comfortable having our daughters play there - and it was a super short walk from the condo unit.
We'd love to come stay here again. And I'm almost afraid to gush so much because I don't want too many people to descend on this gem of an accommodation!

The furniture ( bed, living room and lanai) are old and uncomfortable. But no fear the sound of a prehistoric animal which no one on property knew what was woke us at 6:30 am sharp. This property is close to town ( either driving or walking.) Comminity pool and hot tub is well maintained and clean.

We loved our stay in Jamie’s condo, it is beautifully decorated. He is very quick to respond to any questions/concerns.
The property is beautiful but could use additional lighting especially on the bridge when you cross over to go to the unit. It was very hard arriving at night finding the parking spot was very challenging overall the property isn't well lit at all luckily we saw someone in a golf cart who showed us where to go.
The hot tub and pool area stunning we absolutely loved it when I chose this place that was a deciding factor for me.
I would suggest labeling the upstairs air conditioner unit we couldn’t find a remote and because the unit is on the floor the panel is hidden so for the first few days it was hot upstairs.
I was kind of taken aback when he asked me if I could wash our towels considering there were only two of us staying in the condo but I obliged. We used minimal towels during our stay. My friend who is a seasoned traveler was also surprised. We stayed at the condo yesterday our last day so it worked out.
We enjoyed our stay in Maui likely won’t return because of the long flight but happy that we came.
Maui is a lovely place to visit very serene and beautiful. I came mainly to see the whales which we did.

Overall the place is ok but not great! Stairs going up the place is tough w luggages, air conditioners are noisy so hard to sleep. Upstairs bathroom need ann by little cleaning. Tv didn’t work, bedding is ok.

On the ocean end, it is one of the best locations within the Maui Kamaole condo complex. Notably, the map location on the VRBO website is incorrect. It is not located proximate to Kamaole Beach Park 1 (Kam 1), but rather is south of Kam 3, north of Keawakapu Beach, and directly across from the Kihei boat ramp. Nonetheless, the location served us well for walking to either of the closest beaches and to the departure/arrival of our Molokini Crater snorkel tour with Redline Rafting. The condo itself was clean and well furnished and is depicted accurately by the photos. I would not hesitate to return.

This property is spotlessly clean, updated, and in a great location near one of the pools and tennis courts. We have stayed in four different condos in the Maui Kamaole complex, and this is definately our favorite. This is an end unit so there is lots of privacy and the view from the lanai is beautiful and relaxing.
The hosts were great at communicating before and during the trip. Before our trip, Joe sent information on how to pack for the trip, how to get to the complex, local grocery stores and restaurants, and activities we might enjoy. He also checked in on us once we arrived and made it clear that he was there to help if we had any questions or problems. The hosts live on island for most of the year and take pride in being great hosts.
We are already looking forward to our next trip to Maui and to this unit.
