From Oct 15, overseas visitors (e.g., North America mainland) will have an alternative to the 14-day mandatory quarantine in effect. Under this option, travelers can come to Hawaii if they can prove on arrival a negative COVID-19 test within 72-hours of arrival in Hawaii from a HI Department of Health certified lab. If you have taken the test but do not have your results, you can still come but MUST quarantine until your results are available. You may quarantine for up to 2 days in a short term rental like ours awaiting results. Condo rentals are NOT permitted for any visitors subject to the 14-day quarantine. Apologies for any inconvenience during the pandemic!** **Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting in place due to COVID19: With COVID19, we have temporarily increased cleaning fees to accommodate enhanced safety measures required to help prevent the spread as well as adding buffer days between all rentals.** This 1050+ Square Foot 2BR/2BA condo is located in building C in the highly desired Maui Kamaole complex, one of the newer condo complexes with some of the largest units in South Maui. The unit is spacious and has 2 large bedrooms (plus a pull out memory foam sleeper sectional), 2 large baths with walk-in showers and a large common area. The unit also has great views of the pool, ocean, and mountains. We have a split A/C system (there are 2 A/C units total) for warmer days but windows on both sides allowing our guests to enjoy the wonderful trade winds we get in South Maui. Since the unit is near the front of the complex, it is a short walk down to Kamaole Beach Park III (one of the best beaches in Maui). The complex is also close to all the great bars, restaurants and shopping that South Kihei has to offer. You are also a short drive away to Wailea and its beaches, golf courses, resorts, shops and restaurants and can reach anywhere on the island by car easily from this central location. The unit underwent a complete renovation in July 2018 that included new tile flooring and carpet, open concept floor plan, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, updated bathrooms including a unique faux lava rock wall feature in the master bath, washer and dryer, and all new furniture. Note: Our property is privately owned, but professionally managed by Maui Condo & Home who are a phone call away for any of your needs during your stay. If you have a redeye flight, we strongly urge you to book another night as we cannot offer late check-out (our maid can only come during the day and the next night becomes unrentable).
