Very glad we stayed there, perfect location , excellent shops and food right across the road. Maui fish and chips is fantastic, short drive to Foodland or ABC store right next door. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

This is a great place to stay in Kihei. It is clean and everything is good working condition. The photos in the listing are accurate. Wendy was very responsive to my worries about recent flooding, which actually did not affect this condo, as it is higher than more northern parts of S. Kihei Road. The double-wide lanai is fabulous for its views, especially at sunset. We were four retired/ almost-retired adults, and we had a great time.

The beds (especially the bed frames) could use an update they were quite wobbly And the master bed frame kept folding in on itself We had to give the big bed to the kids as it wouldn’t stay up with adults in it and my wife n I had to use the smaller bed which kind of sucked. I didn’t want to waste time dealing with it on vacation, fixing beds and calling maintenance was not part of my vacation plans. With new bed frames and mattresses would be killer!

Beds were comfy and the kitchen was sufficient for our needs. Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, coolers, etc were wonderful to have. No frills condo that is a great launching pad for Maui fun.

Very disappointed! Misleading. NOT “stunning, flawless or recently renovated" as advertised. Frustrating 4 wks. Multiple texts to owner required. 2 wasted days with a repairman with little results. Have rented multiple KBR units past 25 yrs: always positive!! This time, made to feel we were being unreasonable for expecting things to be in working condition. Owner asked us not to post a review if negative! ISSUES: Electrical on lanai shot! Nothing worked: awning, ceiling fan/light. Too hot to sit out 2-6 pm. Glass door very difficult to move: Unable to latch & lock. Screen door on backwards/no handle. Green carpet stayed wet for days after a rain. AC old/rusted/ knobs broken off. Had to crawl under a table each time to plug & unplug! Lanai cabinets warped/ falling apart inside; No BBQ tools/plastic, scratched plates/warped plastic glasses/missing cutlery. Handle broken off freezer door. No written instructions for TV & the many switches on the wall. Bedroom TV unplugged; no batteries in remote; Missing Visio remote so unable use the TV at all. No extra batteries, cleaning clothes,or floor mop. Vacuum was useless: had to borrow one form other renters. Sleeps 6 but no blankets for sofa bed & only 2 beach chairs. Carpets dirty looking, old? Walls badly marked up:could use a Magic eraser cleaning! Bathroom reeked of urine first few days;found plunger in plastic bag in a pool of urine behind toilet. Had to use a bleach spray to keep odor away. Have pics of the above.

Great location only 1/2 block to the beach. Unit was well appointed and clean. The roof top BBQ deck was an added bonus. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning in the back bedrooms ( A/C in living and dining area only) The master bedroom was very hot as well were it not for the ability to keep the sliding patio door open at night. There are no curtains or blinds in the master for privacy so it was difficult to have the rest of our group use the lanai. It was also very noisy being an end unit next to the street/strip mall and we could hear their deliveries and garbage trucks in the early morning hours. This was our 14th trip to Maui and we will be back to Kihei and KBR but not in this unit for the above reasons.

Unit was recently updated and is well outfitted with kitchen supplies, beach gear, etc. Lovely to sit on the balcony and see the ocean and watch the sunset. My partner and I celebrated our birthdays with a trip to Maui and Andrew’s home was just what we needed. Location is great - short walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants, the grocery store, as well as making the trips to road to Hana and Haleakalā was a breeze. The place itself is clean and well-kept. Has everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as beach chairs and other equipment that we definitely took advantage of. Andrew is very attentive and quick to respond, which I appreciated very much. The only issue we had was not with his home, but with the building. The elevator was working intermittently and was not working on our check out day so it was tough bringing luggage down multiple flights of stairs. But other than that, we had an amazing time and would definitely rebook again. Thank you so much again Andrew for sharing your home with us! :)

We love Maui and have always enjoyed the location and views from Kamaole Beach Royale. This was our first time staying in this unit and it checked all the boxes besides privacy for the master bedroom. There are no blinds or curtains for the large window facing the lanai which means you have street lights gleaming into the room all night (even with the lanai blinds pulled down) and it’s also awkward that when others are on the lanai they can see into the bedroom. We have always assumed a bedroom would have privacy and didn’t notice in any reviews that others mentioned this but having a dark room at night and decent privacy is a priority for us so can’t give this unit 5 stars.We loved everything else and had a wonderful time.

Thanks again Wendy and Bob for sharing your lovely home with us!!!! The location is incredible and the view is amazing. Several times we would just watch sunset and whales from the deck instead of going up to the rooftop or down to the beach. The condo is FULLY stocked with anything you could want or need. Lots of spices and condiments and the welcome package of coffee, jam and Chocolate covered macadamia nuts was an adds bonus. The boogie boards and chairs were helpful on beach days, Washing machine and dryer to do laundry when we needed and a whole host of cooking supplies to feed the family for breakfast and dinner. Location is so perfect, easy walk to some of our favorite eateries and of course the beach is just across the street. Definitely will try and stay here again next time we venture to Maui!!!

Overall, the place was nice, but there were some things that should be addressed. There were many switches that we didn’t know what to do with. the air conditioner was only in the living room, which made the two bedrooms very warm even with the fans going in the evening. It was a bit on the older side, even though it said it had been newly renovated But we enjoyed our stay. When we left, we left the place in pristine condition. I did take videos of when we left.As far as the parking, I think it should be noted that only one vehicle per unit is allowed to park in the complex and we had two vehicles so we had to take one vehicle two blocks over and park it overnight on the street The sliding door is very hard to open and closeAgain, overall, we did enjoy the stay and thank you

We loved this place! Very clean! Our favorite place to hang out was the lanai! The beach across the street was very nice. Easy walking distance to resturants. My only suggestion would be a mattress pad. The bed was a bit hard for us.

You can’t beat the location of this property! It is across the street from that beautiful view and close to restaurants, food trucks, surfing, groceries, everything. I thought it was even better than the pictures showed. The property is well appointed. The pool is warm and everything is so convenient. Even shave ice is a short walk. Highly recommend McKenna’s Charters for the snorkeling tour if you are in whale watching season. The snorkeling is fine but you get whales at the same time. I wish we had more time to enjoy all the local offerings but we’re touring a lot. I would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for offering such a great property!

Loved having such a short walk to the beach where a turtle beached itself one afternoon! Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler. My main area of improvement would be the bathroom towels. Our family of four adults found this to be the Ideal combination of location, space, and amenities. The unit had everything we needed from beach chairs, boogie boards, and binoculars to a fully stocked kitchen. We walked to breakfast and dinner on most days and to multiple beaches. The unit is located so that it’s easy to go any direction, whether to the south beaches, north to Kaanapali/Kapalua, or of course, hanging out in Kihei. We even used the bbq grill on the roof one night. But the best feature for us was the balcony. It’s large and comfortable, overlooking the beach and with clear view of the sunsets. Wonderful place and the communications from the property managers was clear and timely. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Kamaole Beach Royale. The view from the 5th floor looking out towards the ocean is so lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to hear the ocean waves lapping the shore. The sunsets are spectacular! The condo is very well stocked, we cook a lot of our meals so we appreciated the various items, like a salad spinner, wood cutting boards, spices & a good blender, ….things that are often missing from other condo rentals.Communication with the owner was excellent. We mentioned to the owner that a couple of items need replacing such as the provided beach chairs, but overall we were very happy here and would definitely return.Thankyou for a great holiday!

The condo is in the best location across Kamaole Beach I in Kihei. The condo was immaculate, had many utensils and appliances and had the BEST SUNSET VIEW!! Everything was within walking distance. What I didn’t find were oven mitts ( the towels were not heat resistant). As well, it would have been nice to have a mini safe. Fabulous place and will rebook this place again. Mahalo.

Very nice accommodations. Great location , just a walk across the street to one of the nicest beaches in Maui .Plenty of beach necessities, including chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and so on. There’s also a little market and shopping center within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
