We loved the wonderful location and view, right across from the beach. It was a joy to be able to cross the street to go for our daily runs by the water, or to swim. So close to seeing sea turtles, delicious food, shops -- in the middle of it all! The trade winds kept the apartment cool and balmy in December. Finally, great communication from the property manager -- so appreciate that, especially over the holidays!

From the moment we stepped in, everything was just perfect. The location, the view, the amenities in the condo, everything!! Super comfortable, quiet, and the owners made sure we were supplied with everything we needed for a great stay. It is a worry free place and perfect for the relaxation time we had. the beach is a three minute stroll and the location is perfect to get everywhere. The owners were also very friendly and helpful - accessible and available to answer questions we had. Overall, we will definitely try to come back as Maui is our favorite island.

This property is in an amazing location with a wonderful view. Great set-up inside the condo. Condo is convenient to everything in South Kihei, yet very quiet. Condo has just about everything 2 or 3 people would need for a week long vacation. Easy access to pool, beach, shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. Sunrise and sunsets, will take your breathe away. And Mary the owner is friendly and was always available for help and guidance. We plan to come back in the near future.

The condo was clean and very nice. We had everything we needed, including beach supplies. The condo is perfectly located just steps away from the beach. My son’s enjoyed the gelato and shaved ice shop across the street! My husband and Mom-in-law loved relaxing on the balcony. The beds were comfortable. I didn’t need AC, but my boys used it in their room and we were glad it was an option for them. We will definitely be back to Maui and will stay in this complex again - even if we don’t need as many bedrooms.

We liked the condo but the south bathroom had almost zero hot water flow and the ice maker didn’t work. The girl in the office and the property manager were very unfriendly. This condo has everything you need to have a comfortable stay by the beach in Kihei. The accommodations are better than what is captured by photos and the process is quick and simple. If you are looking to visit many parts of the island, this location acts as a great center point by the beach. Wendy is very responsive and helped us with any issues during our stay.

A peaceful place with a large balcony overlooking Kamaole Beach, all the appliances were clean and in working order, plenty of water pressure in the showers, no musty beach carpet smell. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the manager promptly replaced a damaged beach chair for us. Parking spots are a bit tight for larger vehicles but convenient, and plenty of places to walk to for dining, water sport equipment rentals, and groceries. All in all a pleasant place to stay!

Not great! We were in the middle of a construction zone. But we were not told that when we booked. We were given old rooms not the renovated ones. We couldn’t park near our rooms about half the time because construction trucks and materials were taking up parking spots. Our units were in poor shape, broken doors, rusty toilets, antiquated a/c that randomly worked. The pool temperature was inconsistent. One day very warm, next day too cold. The hot tub was too hot 104-105. Elevators were monopolized by construction workers. The location in Kihei was wonderful but I wouldn’t stay there again until renovations were completed.

We turned on the ice maker and this resulted is lots of water dripping in the fridge and food spoilage bc compressor couldn't keep it cold. When we emailed owner, she responded quickly & told us she was waiting for new fridge. Had she left a note or told us we could not use ice maker, we wouldn't have had rotting food and resulting anxiety. No offer of any compensation, despite the fact that the rental was expensive, and we had to throw out food.
However, when the fire alarm blasted us in the middle of the night and in the morning (not chirping due to bad battery, but full on alarm because it was broken), she sent someone to replace it in a few hours. So that was timely response.

There was so much we loved about staying here. 1st - one block from the beach, plus it was one of the BEST beaches we went to on Maui. 2nd - the apartment was clean, updated, spacious, and the AC in the living room was AMAZING to have. 3rd - Connie provided beach equipment (this was huge), everything you could need in the kitchen, and other amenities. 4th - there are hoses to spray sand off you in the parking lot which worked much better than the ones at the beach. 5th - wasn’t expecting to spend much time at the pool but the pool was immaculately maintained with beautiful landscaping. 6th - last but not least the view from the balcony is incredible. I would recommend to anyone. Only downside is the two non-master rooms got pretty hot but Connie provided many fans to cool things off. If I returned to Maui I would most definitely stay here again. Our two week stay at KBR611 was wonderful. The location is perfect for a South Kehi vacation. The Property management company was really good to deal with pre trip. We did have a few issues arise after we arrived. There was no telephone in the suite, which we were told there would be, so contact with the Proprty manager was difficult once we arrived. ( We came from Canada and had no cell service while there). The beds were not set up the way way had requested and we had a miscommunication regarding our late checkout and the door code changing before we left, but those issues were resolved via emails to the manager.The condo itself was well equipped with beach gear, towels etc. It was clean and comfortable.I would recommend this unit for a great stay. Just have a cell phone with you!

The panoramic view from the balcony was the best part. Many great places to eat in close proximity as well. We really enjoyed our week at this condo in Kihei. The description and photos are accurate and we concur with other 5-star reviews about the amenities and quality and good value of this 2BR 2Bath ocean-view unit. Having AC in the bedrooms and living room was great--we didn't actually need to use it much, but it was really good to cool the place down once in a while, esp. late afternoon, when returning from activities. (It does mean there's heat and some noise from the AC compressor on the lanai but we turned it off when we were out there.) Beds and linens were very comfortable; sofa and loveseat as well, towels fluffy and ample, convenient beach chairs and umbrella. Everything very clean. The views and location are super. I hadn't stayed in Kihei for a long time so it was fun to explore the area again and then some other parts of the island. The building is from a particular era, like many condos in Maui, but the tasteful upgrades to this unit really make it a comfortable and pleasant. The entire property seemed well managed, quiet, and safe and parking for our SUV was never an issue. We didn't use the BBQ/upper terrace or the pool, but both looked very clean and provided additional options to people wanting to use those. Proximity to the beach(es), shops, restaurants, etc. was very convenient. Also, Ada was very responsive to inquiries along the way, which was reassuring and helpful.

Money isn’t everything, but politeness is.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and found it perfect. Unit is great for two adults and small child (think max someone who sleeps in pack-n-play). Beach chairs, umbrella and towels are more than what’s needed for two. Bed and linens were comfy. Kitchen fully stocked with kitchen items. We cooked all but one night and never didn’t have what we needed. View is lovely; up above Kamaole 1 beach and without the road noise of the main beach road. Each night we watched sunsets and each morning checked out the amazing constellations. Linai space is perfect. AC was available but we never used it as each room has a ceiling fan which kept us comfortable even when the temps reached 85 F (real feel 95).

Very well equipped unit. King bed comfortable. Twins were quite well used. Binder should have had info about the Ohano from, the pool and the 7th floor grill and view of sunset. Some information about the tv remotes would have been useful as we are technology challenged.
But unit is a short walk from some casual restaurants, a bakery and gelato. And across from a beach park. And it is taken care of and equipped. It is the first time in Kihei for us and probably the last. Our preference is for peace and quiet.

We ran into a couple of small glitches with appliances. The owners were exceptionally responsive and had things fixed within hours. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and hope we get the opportunity to come back!

We loved this condo, particularly the location! It was close to so many cute little restaurants, and of course, being across the street from several beaches is a huge plus! The beach chairs and umbrella were so fantastic to have!
Our only complaint (if you want to call it one) is that it does get warm in the condo- the air conditioner has a hard time keeping up. At night it would be stuffy in the bedroom. Other than that we loved everything about the place and will definitely be booking here again!

Everything you want for your getaway is here. Beautiful, well appointed home, with an unbelievable view. Moments to the perfect beach. Walking distance to all you may need. Wendy has warmly welcomed us and made every arrangement to make her home our home. So grateful to have spent time here. We will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved my stay here, this was my 5th trip to Maui and it was my first time staying in Kihei and it was great. The condo is conveniently located to many places to eat within walking distance and same for the beach. There’s also an ABC store within walking distance incase you need any ice, snacks or any souvenirs to take home. The condo has many essential items you may need and a huge plus the condo has chairs, coolers, an umbrella, etc. which was awesome, we ended up using them daily the week we were there and didn’t have to worry about renting any of those items. The AC in the condo works great, the bed was comfy, very nice shower, parking on site was easy and the host was very hospitable. Silvana was easy to contact and made sure our stay went great. I highly recommend staying here!

This place was located in the perfect spot. Close to shopping, beach and restaurants. We had a blast hanging out at the beach together and our condo came fully equipped with boogie boards, beach chairs and towels. We definitely plan to return again!

We feel this is the best location in Kihei.
Very convenient for walking to beach, shopping, going to meals, coffee and even fresh bread in the morning.
Large lanai with very comfy furniture.
The condo had all the amenities we needed and very comfortable beds and linens.
After a few hours at the beach we also enjoyed the well maintained pool, always clean.
Wendy the owner is so easy to communicate with that she feels like a friend.
Can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend.

Sunsets and easy beach access. Beautiful views. Everything I needed was there. I was expecting the overall appearance, very accurately shown in listing. I wasn't expecting the tech/app integration. great location, clean property, seamless checkout! the only thing i would suggest adding is what unit number the condo was because it wasn’t in any check in info so we had to call the host at 10pm when we arrived to know which unit it was. otherwise good stay!

The property was just like the picture represented. Close to beach, shopping and dining.I wish there was a double bed in the 3rd bedroom, a twin was hard to get used to for a 69 year old woman.And a dresser would have been nice.

Exceeded my expectations. GREAT location, across from long soft sanded beach. Sunsets were amazing, even from the lanai. Unit was fully stocked with all the stuff we needed to chill and have fun. Everything worked and we felt right at home! We will definitely rent from the again!

Overall it was an enjoyable visit.
Pros:
The view was awesome.
The pool was nice.
The BBQ deck and seating area was great for watching the sunset and cooking a meal.
Plenty of towels for the beach and bathroom.
Had the basics for soaps and toiletries.
Location was awesome, a 2 minute walk to one of the better beaches on the island.
Lots of walkable restaurants and other stores.
Cons:
Loud construction noises (saws and hammer drills) all day 9-5, M-F from the unit next door. Could not relax at all and felt forced out. They didn't clean up after themselves and left the outside hallway dirty enough it tracked into our place and left the gate and door dusty.
The frying pans were unusable as the Teflon coating was peeling off on most of each pans serface. We ended up going out to buy one of our own so we could actually make a meal, and left it for the next person. Sorry, it was warped when we got it from Safeway.
The AC worked for the living room, but didn't reach the bedroom, so it was hot each night.
The vacuum head was broken so the rug beater didn't spin at all, and the broom was half broken and annoying to use.
The water had a funky smell to it. Not sure if that was just the building or the city, but we bought a lot of bottled water.
The cabinets were definitely in need of some TLC as the paint was peeling off the bottom.
Overall, we were in Hawaii so we were out enjoying activities. It was temporary.

We stayed at this condo for our first trip to Maui for our 25th wedding anniversary. I have to say that this stay was one of our most pleasant experiences we have had with using VRBO!
The owner was very communicative and responded quickly to any questions I had. So helpful! And the instructions for checking in, checking out, as well as use of the condo while we were there were very clear, so we didn't have ANY questions during our stay. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and inviting! Bed was so comfortable, and the extra pillows and linens were appreciated.
They provided just about everything you could ask for from beach toys, to a cooler and umbrella--everything! Washer and dryer were great and the little kitchen also gave us everything we needed.
The location cannot be beat! One of the very best beaches with the cleanest, finest sand I've been on was just across the street! Shopping was nearby, as well as opportunities for excursions and restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it honestly inspired us to perhaps have a condo of our own in Maui in a few years! Would definitely, highly recommend this condo!

We really enjoyed the place and the location. The only negative was that the unit wasn’t as clean as we expected. The counters and appliances had handprints on them. We had to buy cleaner to clean them. The outside deck was nice but the railings were filthy. We bought bleach wipes to clean them off. The slider from the master bedroom didn’t slide easily. The second bathroom smelled like dirty feet and was recently used. There were stains on some of the pool towels. The face of the bathroom cabinets were not very clean. Toilet in master had a moldy ring around the bowl which only got worse as we stayed. We didn’t want to have to buy toilet bowl cleaner. Other than that we did enjoy the place and loved the view. Overall grounds were well maintained. Access to beach was great.

Overall, condo 304 was comfortable, however there were some inconveniences such as not having a smaller fry pan to cook an egg, no working light over stove, no ice chest/cooker, umbrella that didn’t have a screw bottom and had holes. One of the bedroom lights was not plugged in and bed frame was too heavy to get to an outlet. It was quite warm in the bedroom so wanted to sleep in the living room however the mattress in the sofa couch was not very comfortable.

The condo was beautiful and looked just like the pictures on line. It was very comfortable and the location was great. The beach was right across the street and so beautiful. The beach chairs and umbrella that was provided was great. The pool was also so refreshing. So close to restaurants, shops and groceries. All within walking distance. We didn't need a car, just used uber from airport and to luau. The only down side was we had to wait outside until check in at 4:00. We arrived at 1:00 all the way from Florida. Also, the check out would have been nice an hour later. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely go back.
