There were 2 families that stayed in this condo, that comfortably slept all 7 of us. Beautiful rooftop patio! The only downfall of the patio is that it did not open until 7:30am. We wanted to come up and sip our coffee from the roof top while watching the sunrise. The only other issue we had is that we had to switch our rental vehicle 1 day into our trip because of a problem with the vehicle. We did not realize that we had to fill out a new parking form, until it was on our car window. By the time we filled it out, our vehicle had already been reported and a parking fine was attached to the license plate number. When we went somewhere to park, we ended up having to pay a parking fine, in addition to our parking fee. This could have been handled a little better, maybe a warning allowing for time to complete a new parking permit. Our trip was amazing and Kihei was a great place to stay.

The property was a great location and perfect condo for our needs. That said, it was dirty when we arrived with sticky prints on lights switches and gunk and juice spills on the counters and surface. We also had two kids sleeping on air mattresses but there wasnt enough bedding for them.

We were travelling with our adult children for a family trip to Maui. We needed 3 bedrooms and min 2 baths, and this condo met the need very well. All rooms had a king bed so no one felt they were getting a lesser room. We wanted walkability so if you went out for dinner there were no parking issues. There are many dining choices for lunch and dinner within several blocks. Having the beach so close created great flexibility for everyone to decide when they’d had enough sun, and could go back to the condo. It was spacious and well equipped to cook in a few times, great bbq’s on the roof top patio, with a great view of the sunset! All agreed, it was the perfect accommodation for our trip!

From the moment we stepped in, everything was just perfect. The location, the view, the amenities in the condo, everything!! Super comfortable, quiet, and the owners made sure we were supplied with everything we needed for a great stay. It is a worry free place and perfect for the relaxation time we had. the beach is a three minute stroll and the location is perfect to get everywhere. The owners were also very friendly and helpful - accessible and available to answer questions we had. Overall, we will definitely try to come back as Maui is our favorite island.

Our party of 5 had a lovely stay in this comfortable condo steps from the beach and south Kihei amenities. Super convenient location. Well stocked kitchen had plenty of cookware, dishes, and seasonings. Roof deck with gorgeous west facing ocean views, tables, and gas grills was greatly appreciated on nights we decided to stay in and cook. Beds were comfortable, laundry is located in the bedroom with twin beds. Baths are good sized with some updating. Bring your own soap and shampoo, medicine cabinet was well stocked with various items including sun burn spray and rubbing alcohol. We added a bottle of anti fog for snorkeling to the hall bath. Tile floors are easy to vacuum as some sand will follow you home no matter how much you hose off or shower before returning from the beach. Air conditioning was appreciated in the afternoon, we opened the doors and windows once the outside temperature fell below 80 degrees which gave us a very comfortable breeze through the unit most nights. The lanai is well stocked with beach supplies including snorkel gear for kids, pool noodles, toys, umbrella, boogie board, and skim board. The sliding glass door can be difficult to open and close in the living room for children or weaker adults. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Condo location was perfect for what we wanted to do in Kihei. Easy walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. Condo had nice view of ocean and sunsets. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to all the birds. The pool was refreshing for a late afternoon swim. Very comfortable and relaxing for our party of seven. Condo was equipped with most everything we needed and beds were comfortable as well. We did adjust the main toilet float so it wouldn’t continually run after flushing. Both sliding screen doors need to be re-screened and oiled to make it easier getting in and out. One of the nice beach chairs was broken. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer time together. Thank you! We so enjoyed our stay!

Great stay! We opted for a 3 bedroom condo which was perfect for 2 couples. We didn't have a car, so we rented bikes from Boss Frog's next door & were able to walk or bike to restaurants, happy hours, & shops daily. The beach is a very short stroll, and happens to be perfect for snorkeling & paddle boarding.
The only (semi-negative) issue of note was the condo's WiFi doesn't reach to the 2 (non master) bedrooms near the front door. But that was OK since we didn't need to be in lovely Maui working on our laptops anyway!
Owner communication was great - very prompt replies, & thorough/clear instructions each step of the way.
We absolutely LOVED our stay in Kihei & this specific condo, and hope to return some day. Highly recommend this exact spot!

Great property. The unit was clean and extremely convenient for all that is offered in the Kihei/Wailea area. We walked to dinner and lunch a few times and used the beach across the street. We had 6 in our party so the three bedrooms were key and they worked out great. Loved the lanai with the large table and chairs. I was very pleased with the property, its location and the ease of dealing with everything. I would definety recommend the propperty for groups of 6.

The ones there had a mildew smell even after I washed them-but not a big deal, just pack some. We had a family of 8 stay and it worked great for us. I would recommend to anyone. Host was easy to work with and condo was great!

The condo is in an excellent location. So close to the beach, shopping and dining. Not the greatest for parking an extra car as you are allowed only 1 space. The condo was nice and clean and very roomy. We loved staying here and hope to come back again!

Highly recommend this stay! It is a 2 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches. A great view of the water (and gorgeous sunsets) from the apartments balcony as well as from the roof. Any food/grocery/alcohol that you could need is within a couple of blocks. Comes stocked with a cooler, beach chairs, an umbrella and beach toys. Pool is awesome for when the beach gets too windy. Apartment is clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Kitchen has all that you need and there is a great BBQ area on the roof. Absolutely perfect stay!

This VRBO has many things going for it. The beach is a half a block away and absolutely beautiful. The seventh floor patio area is beautiful with great grills and a beautiful sunset view. The condo has 4 room air conditioners (no central air) because of the age of the facility which are noisy and tend to have a mildew smell! The condo has been renovated which makes it a very comfortable facility. The kitchen is newly done and had a new refrigerator (with the protective film still on it) and the old refrigerator sitting on the outside patio!!! When we arrived, the master bath sink was clogged and running extremely slow and not fixed until two days later. The master bedroom fan and light never did work correctly particularly with the light being in operable but occasionally coming on in the middle of the night! I am confident that as an owner it is extremely difficult to get competent cleaning people. But, it needed a deep cleaning with drawers cleaned, etc. So, in summary, decide what your priorities are (location, accommodations, cleanliness, etc.) and choose based on those priorities.

This property is very centrally located and the perfect spot for staying on Maui. The upstairs bbq area was a major plus! If you plan on coming to Maui, do it during whale season and you’ll see so many breaches while on the roof top! Overall great stay, only minor issue was the floors felt dirty and I didn’t want to walk barefoot.

Can not say enough about this amazing property. The location is excellent. It's not on the ocean, but it's close enough to walk and carry all your needs. Plenty of shopping very close. Located mid island, so you can get to all points of interest within a short time. Ist floor so you can take the stairs if the elevator is busy. Condo is well equipped and comfortable. Kihei (kee-hay) is the place to be.

This rental was in an amazing location. Beach right across the street, shops and eats also within walking distance. You can watch the sun set on the top floor in the common eating/BBQ area. Unit itself was a great space and included everything you could need for a day at the beach. Communication with owners was also a pleasant experience. We would definitely book again!

This was a perfect place to stay. It is steps from the beach. This beach is great for kids and had great waves for boogie boarding. It has all the toys you need, such as boogie boards, 4 beach chairs, tons of sand tons, snorkel gear and noodles. The pool is great and quiet. It has the best places to eat, food and dessert steps away. Linda was great to work with. We have 2 teenage girls and 2 boys ages 10 and 7 and the condo had everything we needed to relax after a long day playing at the beach. I would definetely stay here again.

This was our first time in Maui so we explored a lot and learned a lot. We debated staying here (Kihei) vs in Kaanapali. Kihei has a "beach town" vibe. Tons of condos, great beaches, plenty of good restaurants (mostly walk-up to the counter type places). It is a fun area and you can easily spend every day relaxing and playing at one of the many nearby beaches. We were happy in Kihei but will probably try Kaanapali next time.
Pros of this specific property:
- great beach location. 1/2 a block to one of the best beaches in Kihei. We walked back and forth to the beach each day. Also very close to some good restaurants.
- owners. We had a question about the a/c. We called the owner on our 2nd day. He was very responsive and helpful. We appreciated his quick assistance. The problem was resolved easily.
- space. Three bedrooms was nice for our family of five.
- well stocked. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there.
- bathrooms. Recently redone. Very nice.
- Lots of beach toys and equipment available for free on the lanai.
- rooftop deck with barbecue grills. Fantastic place to watch the sunset.
Cons of this specific property:
- outdated. While the property was clean and adequate, it is in need of a remodel. The furniture, towels, sheets, and beds are all worn and dated. All the furniture was very basic, not very comfortable.
- pool. While there is a pool on the property, it is very small.
- I wouldn't let the aged state of the condo stop you from renting here. We had a great vacation and the condo met our needs. Just go into it knowing this won't be "luxurious". But, you're in paradise so it's definitely not a deal-breaker.

This condo has everything you need to explore Maui. Amazing beaches are right across the street and great restaurants are walking distance. The condo is clean and has AC. It’s a 2nd floor unit so you can take the stairs. The lanai’s get a great breeze. The pool area is very nice for a change of pace from the beach. Highly recommend this unit.

This place is perfectly situated about a half block from the beach which means al of the traffic noise is totally blocked - but still have the ocean in view from the lanai. Kitchen has everything you need and the showers are great. Fully stocked with beach supplies as well. Will definitely be looking to book here again next time I come to Maui.

We enjoyed our trip to Maui. Linda’s condo is perfectly located and loaded with amenities. Upon our arrival, we noted tile floors had not been mopped recently and two of the three fans were not working. Linda remedied those issues by the next morning. She was very responsive and we greatly appreciated her response. The only two issues that prevent us from rating her accommodations as 5 stars is the poor air conditioning that failed to adequately cool the front two bedrooms and the closure of the 7th floor patio, barbecue area. We feel we should have been notified that the BBQ area was going to be closed during our stay and given the option to reschedule for another time or change accommodations altogether. We did get to use the patio area one of the first nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, prior to seeing the posted notice that the area was going to be closed for 3/4 of our trip, we had already purchased a lot of meat/fish to grill. With the patio closed, we had to cook inside which was not quite the same. During our stay, it was very hot in Maui. The locals told us it was unusually hot. The window type air conditioning unit was problematic and underpowered for the size of the condo. Every single time a door was opened, the unit would cut off. You can imagine how stifling hot the unit would become after spending a hot day at the beach. It was impossible to cool the unit to a satisfactory temperature by bedtime. The unit is also on a four hour timer and someone had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it back on again. When the temperature gets too hot in Maui, the timer should be disabled. We loved the spaciousness of the condo. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. We appreciated the beach accessories. We would definitely book Linda’s condo again IF during a non summer month when air conditioning is not a necessity AND all amenities are available.

Linda was very responsive to questions, and very helpful.
We were at the condo during the time that there was a hurricane warning. I appreciated that there are metal pull down screens that could be pulled down on the lanai, something that the condos around us in the area did not appear to have.
There are boogie boards, chairs for the beach, and some snorkeling equipment, which we used regularly. The location could not have been more convenient for our family.

The location of this condo was fantastic and the condo itself was very nice. You could tell the condo was well cared for. The only complaint my family and I had was that there was only 1 small A/C unit located on the wall to the outside patio behind the tv. It was attached to a timer that only allowed it to be on for a max of 4 hours. (no big deal while everyone is awake and hanging out in the common space) Every time the door opened as well it would shut the unit off (no way to keep the condo cool while out enjoying the island of Maui). My family had 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 5 and the front two bedrooms get absolutely no airflow during the night and didn't cool off at all. On top of it I had to get up in the middle of the night to restart the unit just to keep it a decent temp in the condo. Overall the condo was very nice but this one thing was a major letdown for my family, I couldn't understand how a condo that was this nice and cost a good but fair amount of money only had one small AC unit and that the owners were so stingy with how often/long it ran. Hawaii gets hot and its nice to come back to a cool and refreshing condo after a long day in the Hawaiian sun.

Communications with Linda were great, timely and informative. My family's needs were met in this reasonably priced 3 bedroom unit which was within a few steps of the beach and included all the major things we needed as a foundation for our weeklong vacation. The unit was clean, well stocked with dishes/towels/cooking utensils, had a washer/dryer, and a nice balcony. We enjoyed our stay and made tons of great memories!

The location was directly across the street from Kamole I beach with breathtaking views of the sunsets and breaching whales daily. Condo was spotless with a fully equipped kitchen. We chose Kihei at the recommendation of a friend who travels the islands frequently. He was absolutely correct on location. The northern towns are way to crowded and developed for my tastes. We needed a three bedroom and they are rare here. The location is directly across from Kamaole 1 beach and almost daily, we strapped on our beach chairs and packed up the cooler and enjoyed a few hours on the sandy beach. The condo is within walking distance of a number of restaurants and Maui Bread - yum. We walked to Kihei Cafe for breakfast and again down that area for dinner. Morning walks were a breeze along the beaches. We highly recommend doing the road to Hana with a tour guide - we used Valley Isle Excursions and were glad we did because there is no way our rented Suburban (we had 7 people staying) would have ever made the ride back across the southern tip. We did the Haleakala sunrise - awesome display and snorkeled Molikini. O'O Farm coffee tour and breakfast was beyond good. And of course Mama's Fish HOuse (reservations made 4 months in advance luckily). We had two issues with our stay. 1. The condition of the condo upon arrival - it was clearly dirty with food and other items I won't mention still present around the rooms - the rugs were filthy. I've used VRBO a few times and never had to clean the place upon arrival. Further, the third bedroom was not made up for a King bed as requested. However, the owners when contacted were apologetic and stated they would refund our own cleaning fee. The second issue is the furniture in the living and dining rooms - it is so uncomfortable. The sofa bed could not be used, and the sofa cushions are so weak you can feel the sofa bed when sitting on the sofa and the side chair is, frankly, dangerous. The dining chairs have no support in the bottom and sag. We would recommend the furniture be replaced. We used the lanai chairs and the two side folding chairs most of the time. I don't want to say we did not enjoy our stay - we did. The kitchen is well appointed; the two bathrooms are new renovations and the beds are comfortable. The breeze you get off the west is wonderful. We never used the air conditioner. The 7th floor grill and eating area is top of the line. Sunsets are best viewed from 7th floor or just walk down to the beach for the best views. Five stars for location and amenities. 4 stars only because of the furniture - fix that and you have a five star

Loved this condo!!!! The condo exceeded the description on their website. I loved the location--off of Kihei Road but close to everything and very quiet. With tiled floors and Granite counters the unit is very nicely presented, clean and comfortable. FulI size front loading high end washer and dryer. Lots of towels and bedding. Beach toys. Kitchen is fully equipped. I definitely recommend this unit to friends and family--just not when we wish to go back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this stay with one exception. The property is ideally situated near things that were very important to us. The beach was great - we were able to snorkel every morning and saw turtles daily. The snorkel shop, restaurants, fast food, shopping and shave ice are conveniently located nearby. The unit is supplied with beach supplies (although one chair should be replaced). The only negative to this stay was a noise problem at 4:30 a.m. outside our windows every morning. After the second day, we asked the office manager what was going on. He explained that it is someone's business and there is nothing they can do (maybe Kihei does not have noise ordinances) so we closed our windows at night but we were still awaken each morning at 4:30.

First off Linda, the owner, was fantastic to deal with. She was extremely responsive to questions and e-mails. Linda was open to offering suggestions regarding Maui and Kihei area. It was a very positive professional experience. The major positive for this condo is location. A short walk from the condo and you’re on the beach. Shops, stores and restaurants are within walking distance to the north or south of the condo, no reason to move your car if you don’t want. The condo is well representative in the photos. There were six of us and we never felt cramped or on top of each other. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean and neat upon arrival. We ran the ceiling fans non-stop so not to use the air condition which kept the unit nice and cool. The pool was never full and seating was always available. Do keep in mind that this is an older building built in 1974 and as such doesn’t have the looks of a modern building.
A few tips…
The condo has a full size washer and dryer, don’t over pack (we did)
The kitchen is well equipped with all you will need if your intending to cook (we didn’t)
The condo has a supply of beach gear, no need to purchase or bring
Watch out for the lounge chair in the living room, it has a tendency to tip over
Make sure you register you 2nd vehicle – they will find you!
They have shopping carts available to help move groceries or luggage
Visit the roof with a bottle of wine to view the sunset
Use the shutters on the patio to keep out the afternoon sun

First off, I never write reviews. I am usually too busy or don't care but this is an exception. The place we stayed in was great. We had a large family (8) so we needed and spacious and comfortable place for all of us and this fit perfectly. you are literally steps from the ocean and beach.
Some of our family are huge into excursions and it was really convenient that Boss Frog is right next door (plus alot of other really nice shops).
Bob is the onsite manager and he takes care of everything. You have a question or need something he is your guy.
The best t-shirt I read while I was there said. "I have nowhere to go and all day to get there" For me and my 16 month old grandson we applied that rule every day and it worked for us.

Encountered minor problems:
Leak in kitchen sink---- was handled promptly by Dianna with a phone call.
Dishwasher was not the best. Washed dishes by hand, as they came out unclean.
Washer/dryer spotty, and would benefit from updating.
All in all, enjoyed the the whole experience and would stay there again. Owner Linda was very helpful and provided us with a wealth of useful information and tips. Enjoyed the pool area and the seventh floor cook out facilities especially. View from there was outstanding. Found the condo to be quiet and secure.

Just returned from our two week stay (April 4 - April 16/2011) in this wonderful location. We had three adults and three young children and it was more than enough space for us. The condo was clean, well maintained, and in a great location. You literally are a two minute walk from Kamaole 1 Beach, which in my opinion, is one of the nicest beaches on the island. We spent a great deal of time there.
You are also a short walk from small grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping. Something else we reallly enjoyed was the use of all the "beach toys" that were already there. From flippers, snorkels, boogie boards, umbrellas, to kids sand toys and every floatation device imaginable, everything was there.
There is a well mainatined pool, for those who don't like the beach. And, the site manager's were incredible and very friendly, as well.
We did a lot of activities on the island. We hit Big Beach, but the waves are too big for children (and some adults, I might add). If you are going to do a submarine adventure, pay the extra money and do the Atlantis one. They take you 130 feet down...VERY cool. And do the 2 PM on as since it is the last one of the day, they keep you out longer. None of the other submarine adventures compare. Also, spending some time in Lahaina was wonderful. Lots of walking through tons of shops. We also attended a magic show/dinner in Kupanaha...VERY good. I highly recommend that too.
We will be coming to the island every 2-3 years from now on and we will most ceratinly be renting this property again. We highly recommend it. Brett was a pleasure to deal with and lots of great communication prior to our trip. He was very responsive, providing some great tips, which helped us greatly.

Eight of us shared this condo ... 4 adults, 4 kids. It was very comfortable, and had everything we needed ... including a portable crib for one of the little ones! One of our favorite things was feeling the breeze coming through the place. No, wait ... maybe it was watching the sunset while grilling up on the roof! No ... it had to be the short walk to the beach! Really, renting your condo was a great experience all around. So easy to set up, great communication, and once we got there, we had everything we needed! Walking distance to all kinds of great food and shopping ... it's just such an excellent location! Thank you for making us feel at home!

Aloha. We had a wonderful time,this was our second visit and stay at the condo. It was the first our daughters and their husbands came and they were surpirsed at how close everyting was. We would often walk to ABC and we would walk to the nearby sports bars for drinks. We spend a lot of time at Kam 1 and walked to Kam 3 to play frisbee. It was convinent to have the coolers and beach chairs supplied. The rental procedure is also very easy. Mahalo

Our family had the best time at this Condo. Very clean and very comfortable. We felt very welcome. Thanks for the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards.The kitchen was also stocked with a starter supply of soaps for dishes and laundry, etc. Our favorite beach-Kamaole l was a short walk away. It felt like we were in our own home. Our contact with Brett from start to finish was very professional and so easy. Thanks Brett and family for a wonderful vacation.

The condo was perfect and exactly as described! The location was great and we LOVED our stay. It was the perfect size for all 6 of us...it was somewhat difficult finding a 3 bedroom condo for rent in Maui...we couldn't be happier to have found this place. Before this trip we all said this was a "once in a lifetime vacation", but after visiting Hawaii how can you NOT come back?!?! We'll be back!

AMAZING!!! this condo could not be in a better place Kihie is such a cute little town. we drove all over the island and enjoyed this the most! The condo was very clean and VERY well supplied we had everything we needed even for my almost two year old.. We fit a large group in this condo and never felt crampt. We are also a very adventurous group and we found amazing snorkling just quick drove from the condo or you can just walk across the street and there are shops and a very relaxing beach.. I could go on and on!! I looked for weeks for a good place to stay and even the more expensive ones didn't seem to compare. If we come back we will stay here again and we are telling anyone who goes to stay her its got something for everyone in walkind distance! Oh and the owners make everything extremely easy and always take time to answer your questions!

We stayed at this condo from Aug. 8 to 22 and had a wonderful time. We had 5 adults and a 22 month old grandchild and this condo accomodated us with ease. The location cannot be better and the rooftop view and barbeque facility are top notch.

This was our 6th trip to Maui. We come every year with our daughter & her family. We love this condo. Everything that could make your visit easy & hassle free was there (beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, laundry soap, dish washer soap, towels, spices, t.p, etc). In addition the rental process was made easy by the owner. Location was the best as the south of Maui has the best & most convenient snorkel beaches. The view from the roof was super & made our annual family pictures really easy to take. Would return to this condo in a heartbeat.

The condo had a excellent location, could walk anywhere you needed to go. It was large enough to accommodate my whole family.It had everything that we needed while on our vacation.The balcony was a added plus, as well as the rooftop, great for watching the sunsets. It was very clean and nicer than what the pictures showed.

My 2 yr. old grandson, Mark, expressed his love for "Grandma's Maui Condo" when he cried all the way to the airport asking to "go back to Grandma's condo". We all felt this way as we thoroughly savored the close walk to the beach, our take-out food from DaKitchen, and grilling our dinner on the 7th floor while savoring the incredible moments of the beautiful sunsets. The accommodations were terrific and we couldn't have asked for better. Yes, this is paradise and as you requested, "Just love Maui No Ka Oi."

We had never been to Maui before, so we knew nothing about the island. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The condo was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and with all the amenities of home. The location is fantastic - directly across the street from a marvelous (uncrowded) beach that has great snorkeling (you can't beat it). There are restaurants within walking distance from the condo, and more great beaches (and restaurants) just a short car ride away. It was so enjoyable to 'come home' and barbeque on the rooftop and watch the amazing sunsets. We will be staying here every time we come to Maui. And I have recommended this condo to both our family and friends. Thank you for having, and sharing, such a wonderful place.

Our family was celebrating my Mom's 70th birthday and we couldn't find accommodations in Lahaina where we always have stayed--so, we booked this condo over the internet--relying only on the photos in the website...well, we were THRILLED with the place when we arrived--it looked BETTER than the pictures and was clean, nicely remodeled and fully
stocked for a "home away from home" experience! The location was prime--right across the street from an awesome beach--great body surfing and snorkeling for the whole family (my daughter saw a turtle, a pufferfish, eel and a lobster!!). The layout of the condo is perfect for a family--a little privacy for parents and lots of room to play in! A great
health food store a minute away and an easy car drive anywhere! We would definitely rent here again and we are telling all our Alaskan friends who, like us, have vowed to get out of town for a few weeks in the long winter! We stayed 2 weeks in Maui at two different Condo's. The 2nd week was in this condo and it was everything we expected. The location to the beach is great, the condo building quiet, but still with things for the kids to do. Next time back to Maui, this will be on our "favorites" list.

An excellent place for my family to get together. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone. Few places that can sleep this many at this price.
Make sure to catch the sunrise at Haleakala and take the road trip to hana. If you go between Dec and May, try whalewatching.
