This was my family's 3rd condo rental on Maui, and, by far, the best. The location was great: far enough from the main areas of Kihei and Wailea to avoid too much traffic and too many pedestrians, yet close enough to walk or drive to everything we wanted to. The resort was well-maintained with an excellent layout. We were near the back of the resort but took only 5 minutes to walk to Kamaole III beach. The only negative we had about the resort was that there was only 1 pool for the large resort, It got a little crowded during peak hours but never ran out of poolside chairs. We also spent more time at the beach so this negative is relatively minor. The condo itself was IMMACULATE. The owners take great care of it and provide everything you need to stay for any length of time. The patio opens to the inside of the resort and has a decent view of the ocean and great views of the grounds and pool area. It was also a nice addition to have reserved parking in the same spot.
Maui is our go-to vacation spot and we will look into this condo again!

What an amazing vacation! My wife and I were in Maui for our 19th wedding anniversary and this property was perfect. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed (towels, chairs, cooler, etc) and the beaches were only a 3-4 minute walk away. Would definitely rent this unit again!

If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient spot in Kihei, this was a great find and was just as described in the Vrbo listing. I stayed here for 5 nights with a friend for her birthday and we had a great stay, and would stay again.
The place was clean and pest free. The bed, sofa bed, and sheets were all very comfortable. My friend who opted to sleep on the sofa bed said it was the most comfortable sofa bed they’ve ever used. The air conditioning also worked great.
We had consistent 5G internet across the whole condo, apart from the smart TV that could only use 2G, so some newer streaming services ran slow.
The kitchen was fairly well stocked, with basic condiments, general cooking supplies, limited tupperware, and even a rice cooker.
The resort provided us at check-in with a coupon for 10% off at the Foodland grocery store up the street, which we gladly used.
The condo was nicely stocked with beach supplies: 4 big towels, 4 chairs (with cup holders and backpack straps for carrying), 2 umbrellas with screw-in sand anchors, a body board, some beach toys, and a backpack cooler. None of which was too hard to carry.
The resort fee on check-in was ~$40, which I think we got our worth out of.
For the girlies™: we saw no signs of suspicious devices in the unit during our stay. Powered devices included an outlet extender on the bedroom floor, NetGear WiFi extender in the hallway, motion-activated night lights in the restrooms, and some Arris devices under the TV for mes

It was exceptionally clean, we loved being able to use the beach gears that was provided, and it's right in front of the ocean so the view is amazing! We had a lovely time staying at this property for a weekend in Maui! The condo was very clean and had everything we could have possibly needed (washer/dryer, beach accessories, etc). This is a wonderful unit and location for families! Kamaole Sands had lots of families with kids playing out on the lawn and in the pool throughout the day. It had a fun and lively atmosphere. The condo was an easy walking distance to the park, beach and local restaurants…even for us with twin 3 year olds. Everything was exactly as pictured, clean and in great condition. The balcony had vies of the pool, gardens and ocean. Sunsets were amazing!
If you plan to cook, they have every kitchen tool, pot, and pan imaginable and the seasonings too (so annoying to buy salt and pepper while traveling lol).
There were plenty of towels, paper products, soap (dish, hand and body), shampoo and conditioner. The bed was firm, but very comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets. They even had beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, a puddle jumper flap toe vest and sand toys!
Joe sent all of our reservations info well in advance and check-in and out was smooth and easy, we didn’t need a thing. There was a book with everything we needed to know, waters in the fridge and complementary cookies! It was heaven. We ABSOLUTELY recommend coming to Kamaole Sands and we hope to come back in the future. Thanks!

Joe's place is in the perfect location if you enjoy the Kihei/Wailea part of Maui. We were there for a long weekend getaway from the West Coast snow storms so really just wanted some sunny beaches which are either walking distance or a short car trip away. What really impressed us were the nice chairs, umbrella and little cooler backpack for enjoyable days at the beach. The interior of the condo is very nice with modern updated furniture and 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen is really nice and well stocked with nice pans/tools. This was our first time in Maui and we are very happy we picked this property! Great communication with the owner who was very accommodating. Very clean, modern, comfortable - and well equipped unit! Loved the extra touches provided like nice beach chairs, towels, cooler, boogie boards, etc. Although we didn’t cook (other then breakfast oatmeal) the kitchen had everything that could be needed.

Fantastic property! Beautifully remodeled condo in secure property right in Kihei. My 30 year old son and his 7 year old son stayed in this Condo while we were all in Maui. Check in people were very nice. You have your own assigned parking spot at no extra charge. Property was very clean and well stocked. All sorts of beach goodies were there for our use. Bed and living area furniture were very comfortable. Lanai over looks the pool and garden with views of the ocean in the distance. Would highly recommend this unit!

We have been coming to Maui for over 40 years and the last 30 we have stayed at Kamaole Sands. Joe's property is one of the finest we have stayed in! Beautifully decorated and updated, it was a pleasure to stay in such a relaxed environment with all of the amenities one could imagine! Loved being able to see the pool from the balcony and the property view is OUTSTANDING! The bed in the master suite was like sleeping on a cloud...the pull-out bed in the living room was so comfortable that our 10 year-old grandson mentioned how comfortable it was (he's slept on pull-outs before that were QUITE uncomfortable!) Building 6 has always been a favorite, but we always stayed on the ground floor. Now that I've been in 6-302, I would make this a must to check on availability before any other condo we've stayed at there, simply because it was such a delight! You won't be sorry...check availability for your trip and book it now, before it's gone!

Perfect 1 br unit in a perfect complex, right across from the beach and close to the town, Wailea, golfing, swimming. Exactly as advertised. Totally remodelled and very well equipped place, right down to beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. Kitchen is modern and well equipped. So comfortable. Joe the owner was responsive and it was easy and stress free getting in to his place. Highly recommended for a couple of maybe a couple with 1-2 small kids on the hide a bed. Will definitely come back here.

The condo itself was near perfect - spacious kitchen, well-stocked, soft sheets, two bathrooms, odor-free, washer/dryer came in handy, tasteful decorations, comfortable furniture, beach equipment - all around better than a hotel. The complex is directly across from a pleasant beach and has well-maintained grounds as well as a pool area with two hot tubs (which seem to be quite busy from open to close).
Our main complaint is not with the property at all, but that Kihei (and Maui in general) is not very walkable and the food is not very good, so we spent a lot more time and money than we wanted driving between aggressively mediocre places.
This place is a must-stay, so long as you aren't going far or don't mind driving, and cook for yourselves or aren't picky eaters.

We absolutely loved this place! It is well designed and equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect and close to everything. I love how they provide all the beach equipment you need from umbrellas, beach chairs, towels, and coolers. A big plus is the washer and dryer in the unit, they even provide detergent and dryer sheets. Definitely booking again next time and reminding myself to pack light.
