Spotlessly clean, well appointed and decorated unit, was exactly as expected from listing photos and description. The kids loved the big open grass space between the condo building and the beach/courts to run and play. Pool was nice and clean. The pickleball courts were packed with players starting at 8am each day and they played non-stop until the wind picked up too much, so we heard them play all throughout the day, but it didn’t bother us or our family’s enjoyment of the property at all, in fact people watching was fun, but just something to be aware of if you’re looking for a silent view. Not loud, but not silent either.
Owner was very responsive and helpful, polite and wonderful to work with. Easily a 10/10 experience for us. Would pick this unit again for our next visit!!

Did not realize we were on third floor and no elevator. Was that listed in the VRBO listing. Was difficult for me to go up and down stairs. The oven did not work very well. Not sure if it was because of the foil on the shelves. Was afraid to drive truck to Hana, so rented cars. The place was beautiful and in a great location. Loved the patio.

The high ceilings, loft and huge view windows/doors made it feel much more roomy. The deck is a nice size with a beautiful view. Everything was clean. It is a little dated but not too bad. The couch seems new. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of hooks to hang towels. There are pickleball courts between the condo and beach with players from 8am to dark. We actually didn’t mind it but some people might. We loved the third floor and exercise from the stairs - no elevator. We loved the beach town vibe of Kihei. Would stay here again! Thank you!

Condo is beautiful and very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. Property is well maintained and quiet. Only issue is it tends to get warm late in the afternoon because the windows get full sun and the ac can’t keep up. We mitigated by keeping the blinds closed during that time and positioning a box fan to pull cool air from the back bedroom. Worked fine. It cools off in the evening so no issue sleeping comfortably. All beds and sofa pull out were super comfy. Bedding is sateen type which was a little hot vs cotton for Hi. weather. We had breakfast on the lanai every morning and took the beach chairs to the property beach access to watch the sunset in the evenings which was splendid! For beach days, go to Kam 2 (traditional beach waves) or Makena (cove like vibes). Don’t waste your time with anything around to property other than the ABC before the condo and the food trucks. There is also a Longs Drugs in close proximity. Black Rock pizza nearby is pretty darn good and good places down by the aforementioned beaches were Kihei is bustling. I would definitely stay again!

This was a great value and location for our week in Kihei and exploring Maui. The unit fit our family of 5 perfectly and met all of our expectations. Full size laundry helped us pack lightly. Kitchen had all we needed. A nice bonus was the scuba masks, coolers and chairs next to laundry. While noted in description just be aware pickleball is very popular and starts almost each morning at 8AM sharp. Public courts are just outside the balcony. However, we quickly were able to tune it out and focus on the sound of the birds and waves. This property is conveniently located to many other things we wanted to do and just a very short drive to several restaurants and stores. Would recommend staying here. Very clean and the welcome package on the kitchen island was very much appreciated after a long travel day. Thank you!

My family and I stayed here right before Christmas. Location is unbeatable and the view was so beautiful each day. Large lanai to eat meals from and ample windows for air flow and view. Hide-a-bed worked well for kids to sleep on and master bed was comfortable. The condo complex was awesome as well and many families were using the grills and outdoor kitchen while kids swam in the pool. We thought this was a great feature. Overall, this was a great condo. The only thing I noticed was one picture of the kitchen in the listing was a different kitchen and there was some sand on the floor when we arrived. However, I understand how difficult it is to get rid of sand at a beach condo! We would stay here again if in Kihei and it is so close to everything.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Luana Kai. The location is perfect! We were close to everything. We walked the beach down to the humpback whale museum and spent time watching the sea turtles arrive, rest and leave their resting station located nearby. We only had a short drive to restaurants and close enough to the airport that it was not a stressful drive to get there. The condo was clean and it had everything we needed. The owners were prompt with help and very kind and accommodating. We will gladly come back again.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful vacation at Luana Kai. We have stayed at many VRBOs before and this was the most well stocked condo we’ve experienced. The home had plenty of bath and beach towels and all the kitchen supplies you could need.

This rental was used for a work trip but I would have gladly stayed here on vacation. The grounds were well-kept, access to the beach was easy, and the unit was well stocked with quality furnishings and appliances.
Correspondence was superfast and handled with professionalism. The location is a little north of Kihei so the surroundings are quieter at night (and the sunsets right outside the door are superb). Hard to ask for a better stay for the price.

A fantastic place to stay for a couple, and I will recommend this location to anyone. The whole home was clean, with all updated furnishings. The bed was very comfortable and I never woke up feeling groggy or achy. All linens smelled clean and felt crisp. Both kitchen and bathroom had plenty of supplies that made it feel like a home away from home. Cooking in the kitchen was a dream and had all the basics (and more) that I never felt like I needed to resource a solution. The updated tech allows you to connect any streaming service to the TV. Patio was gorgeous and the view is incredible. If you are an avid pickleball player, this would be a hot spot for competitive and fun play (did not play myself). The amenities of the grounds were super nice as well - pool and hot tub were clean and spacious enough that it never felt crowded or anyone was on top of one another. Plenty of outdoor grills if you wanted to cookout, and even an outdoor kitchen and bathrooms if you just wanted to have a pool day and never go inside. Neighborhood felt safe and conveniently located north of shops for food and supplies. Walked to Kihei on our first day, which wasn't long, although may feel a little weird walking along road (no sidewalks). But traffic on S Kihei Rd drove slow enough that it didn't feel unsafe walking to or from town. This will be our dedicated homestay anytime we plan future trips to Maui!
