Received great communication from property manager. Condo was clean and in a great spot. The only down side is that it was located next to the outside stairs and we can hear everything. However that was minimal compared to the overall stay.

What a treat it was to stay within walking distance to the beach where turtles often come up to bask in the sun. Our unit was very clean and well equipped for fun at the beach. Parking was close to the condo, which made it nice as well. I plan on staying there again, when we go back to Maui.

Firstly, communication was excellent. We had all the details we needed to get our vacation underway.
The property was exactly as described, it was clean on arrival, and it had everything we needed to have a great time on Maui.
As for the amenity, the pool area, BBQs and grounds were fantastic. There were ample parking spaces for our car rental.
There are plenty of shops within 1.5 miles if you want to buy up and do your own cooking on the BBQs. The beaches are outstanding. Recommend a short drive to Wailea Beach, but the beaches out front of the property are long and sandy, and are ideal for evening walks in the moonlight. You might even come across sea turtles choosing to snooze on the beach after a hard day’s turtling in the water.

I can’t rave about this condo enough!! The location was perfect - steps from the beach and very central to everything we wanted to do in Maui. Plus it was on the bottom floor! No stairs!!! The place was well stocked with everything we needed. It was nice to just do a Costco run and make a lot of our meals there. It was clean and well kept. Easy to communicate with the management and they allowed us to have a late checkout since we were catching a red eye back home. I would absolutely love to stay there again if we make it back to Hawaii!

easy access to everything in the middle of it all , 20 min to lihanna 5 min to aquarium, 2 min walk to a sorta privet beach even had a turtle stop by , all the dinning and food stores min , from the unit and sweet sunset with trees in the background i will rebook again and parking was good too.

Was a perfect ground floor unit with quick access to the pool and beach. Also quick to parking lot to hop into the car and get going for the day.

This condo was an absolutely perfect location. You can leave the back patio door and walk about 40 steps across the grass and you are right on the beach. It's also right across from the pool, so if you have children who want to play in the pool, it's perfect. We stayed for a week and our two kids slept on the pull out sofa bed, which was fine comfort wise. My husband and I slept in the master bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The controls for fans and air conditioning were easy to use and worked great. The condo was clean and it was a good place to rest after excursions all day or days at the beach. They also have all of the things you would need for beach days, umbrellas, chairs, and a cooler. It is so nice when places like this have all of that stuff so you don't have to try to buy or rent it. It made our beach days a breeze.

We had such a wonderful stay and Luana Kai, it had everything we needed and had no problems with the condominium. The check in instructions where very clear, and they had THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS. We are a family of 4, so 2 slept in the bedroom, which was nice and dark and quiet, and 2 slept in the pull-out couch in the living room. Usually pull out couches are not comfy, but the mattresses were great in both of the rooms and they use a high-count sheets, and they were great. They had washing machine, which was great, because we could do laundry couple times, and kitchen was very well stocked with any kind of gadget imaginable. You have to have a car to stay there.

We felt this condo was well stocked and in a great location. We had a couple of minor issues but VIP was quick to respond and efficient in addressing the problems. We missed having a clock (the wall clock in the kitchen did not work even with a new battery and I forgot to report it when I called VIP) but know that most people use their phones for that purpose.

We enjoyed our stay in this vacation rental. The check-in instructions were very clear and there was parking available even when we reached close to 10 pm due to delay in flight. The unit has Acs in both the bedroom and living room. The kitchen had everything we could think of. There are beach chairs, umbrellas in good condition that we used. Overall very good experience.

We had a great vacation in Maui at Luana Kai. We chose a ground floor unit close to the pool, which was perfect for hosting our Daughter's family for dinners on our Lanai at night. She was staying in another upper floor unit in building C as well. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the unit and grounds at Luana Kai and took care to ensure that food was stored in the fridge and trash removed promptly. For the most part, we were able to use AC sparingly as the unit was generally cool enough using fans and did not face the sun. We did not use the garburator, as it didn't work and there was no working fan in the bathroom, so used a portable fan there. One plastic serving plate was cracked, so we put it in the trash and there was only one small side plate left in the cupboard, but other than that the kitchen was very well equipped. Lots of amenities were included, such as beach chairs and snorkels, which we used!The grounds were meticulously maintained, as was the pool, barbeque area, etc!Overall, we loved our vacation. It was the perfect location in Kihei and Maui and great for families. We would love to stay there again!

If you want to have that real Maui feel away from the touristy spots and traps, Kihei is the place to be. This specific unit too! The host was quick in responses. The place was clean and had everything one could need for a week stay on the island. We were able to visit all sides of the island with this perfectly located condo. Stop your search. Stay here. It’s beautiful and it’s worth it.

Spacious, clean, quiet. AC was wonderfully cool and welcome being that Kihei is hot, and dry. We rented through VRBO as there were no reasonably priced hotels available. The property was quiet and we loved the pool which overlooked Maui’s east coast.

I highly recommend this property when staying on Maui. This space worked well for our group of two couples. One couple slept in the room and the other couple slept on the pull-out couch. The pull-out was very comfortable! No one in our group had been to Maui before so we were unsure what area to stay. After visiting, I feel like Kihei was a great choice! To get the most out of Maui you should consider renting a car. This property's location was perfect because it's not too far into Kihei so you are really centrally located to access South, West, and North Maui very easily.
A huge plus about this property is there is beach access right out front. There is a short walk across the grassy field to a beautiful beach you can enjoy. Every evening we watched the sunset on the sand and got to see numerous sea turtles come up for air just a few feet into the water. It was magical!

We’ve stayed at Luana Kai twice now and will definitely return. The grounds are kept immaculately, and the location is perfect - we can see and access the beach from a beautiful large green space.
Unit C102 was just as posted - nice decor, comfy bed, everything you could need in the kitchen, and easy/quick washer/dryer. The unit is perfectly located near the pool and cabana, BBQs and full outdoor kitchen. It was busier this trip (Spring Break in March) than when we were here in September 2019 but even with the extra people, it was enjoyable and relaxing. Everyone seems to respect the quiet hours. We highly recommend this property and this unit (just don’t book it when we want it LOL)

Great location, clean, newly renovated. Big lawn out front where the kids could play safely as it’s enclosed. Pool and hot tub are great and we loved the grassy walk down to the beach. A families location for families with young children. We loved every minute and hope to return!

The condo was just what I needed. Very comfortable & had all the kitchen things I might have needed. The fact that it was about a 3 minute walk to the beach was so cool. The condo is also right across from the pool. The lanai was a wonderful space to sit in the morning for breakfast. There was plenty of things such as grocery, drug stores close. They have a wonderful bazaar in very close by too.

We enjoyed our time in Kihei and at this property. This place has a great location being very central on the island, making it easy to get south, north or up to Haleakala. Our kids spent hours in the heated pool. We also had family staying in another unit at Luana Kai and it was super convenient being able to visit whenever we wanted but have our own space. The unit was clean, had everything we needed to cook and play, and overall was perfect for what we desired. One thing that was unfortunate is the bedroom backs the parking area/staircase and you can easily hear people talking outside on their way to the car. Not fun at 3:30 AM when a group gets up to do the Haleakala sunrise, but overall everyone goes to bed really early so it wasn’t a big issue. Also, for those unsteady on their feet, the area in front of the lanai can get muddy/wet when it rains. Our son slipped on the stone steps because they were covered in mud after a rain on our last day so may not be the safest option for some vulnerable to broken hips. Overall great option and we’d definitely come back. Mahalo!

This location was long discussed before we ended up making a decision. The cleanliness and updated look was the reason that we choose this condo. Check-in was a breeze with a lockbox on the door. The condo had everything you needed to have a great time - beach umbrella/chairs/coolers(multiple). We don't have kids, but it included a fold up crip. The kitchen and fridge were updated and plenty of dishes and a dishwasher and laundry to keep things clean and tidy. The shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. The bed was super comfy and king sized. The wifi was spotty in the back of the condo near the bed, but in the rest of the condo it was nice and speedy. The pool was nice and the beach was a 5 minute walk away. It can get a bit breezy on this beach, but given it's central location it was a great place to spend a week in Maui. We'll be using this again in the future.

We loved staying here for our Maui anniversary vacation. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay: full, furnished kitchen, king sized bed, quiet split-system air conditioning (not all Maui condos do), as well as many other amenities. Previous tenants have left a few food items that we appreciated like spices, oil, coffee filters, etc. The pool area was nice and not overly crowded or noisy. The condo was very clean and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
