Great spot for sure. Can walk to ABC store for the basics and right beside it you can get breakfast with great coffee. Also a little sandwich restaurant within a short walk down the beach.Lots of parking and about 15 - 20 minute drive to lots of shops, restaurants and some great food trucks

Communication was clear and timely from the beginning, and they were consistently responsive whenever we had questions. During a period of heavy rain, they proactively addressed weather concerns by installing a flood gate, which gave us added peace of mind. They also resolved a minor appliance issue in the unit quickly and efficiently. It was clear they take guest comfort seriously.The location is a major highlight. The property is within easy walking distance of the beach, which made morning and evening walks effortless. There are also a few small shops nearby that were convenient for quick stops. When we needed additional dining or grocery options, the drive into town was less than 10 minutes, making everything easily accessible without feeling crowded or overly busy.The overall facilities were well maintained. The grounds were nicely kept and pleasant to walk through, and the pools were clean and enjoyable. Everything felt orderly and cared for.The unit itself was in good condition. While there is some normal wear on a few pieces of furniture, nothing felt excessive or detracted from the experience. The TV included streaming apps, and the internet connection was reliable enough for everyday use. We also appreciated the generous supply of towels and the availability of beach gear, which made our time on the water much easier.Overall, this property offers a strong combination of attentive management, convenient location, and well-maintained facilities. Recommend by a friend to visits annually. Super quiet and calm getaway with backyard-like access to pool and beautiful beach. Very clean and welcoming! Farmers market, bakery, ABC store, and Ululani’s shave ice. Fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, silverware, Utensils, coffee maker, etc. toiletries and towels and blankets supplied. Easiest vacation I’ve taken! Malea (property manager) is prompt with replies and very helpful. Easy free parking, too. What a great break from resort living. Book directly through the site to save money other third party booking sites. Easy access to adventures and hikes and other activities. Can’t rave enough about these units!

We loved this condo at Ma'alaea Surf. The decor was new, fresh, and had a natural beach vibe. Amenities were great - lots of extras to help make our stay easy and convenient. This resort is a perfect Maui getaway! Thanks for being great hosts and letting us check in early to watch the Superbowl!

We've stayed here a few times before and love the quiet atmosphere and location. Everything was close to perfect and we knew what to expect. There are only a few minor areas we would hope improve before our next visit. 1) How about soft plush Down pillows? We were reminded how flat those that were provided were... on a previous stay. 2) Fix the tv downstairs or simplify the double remote system. Not a huge problem cuz that's not why we are in Maui but still, for the price we are paying, yes, we expect the tv to function. The one upstairs works just fine. Overall, We'll probably return but it would be nice if the prices would drop for repeat visitors.

The unit was neat, clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained, and provided a relaxing and quiet environment for our family to reconnect. We thoroughly enjoyed walking along the beach each morning, which was right outside our door. Malea promptly responded to all our questions, and we noticed that the grounds outside the units – the shuffleboard courts, pool area, sidewalks, grills, etc. - were sprayed down and cleaned every day. The unit provided plenty of amenities we weren’t expecting, including a generous supply of extra bath and beach towels, sheets, and blankets, and enough dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, coffee, tea, etc. to last past the duration of our stay; the cabinets were stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cups, cooking equipment, a cooler, etc.; and the beds were comfy. We would definitely stay here again!

The show stopper feature of this property is the view! The beach was also amazing. Quiet and prefect for a long walk. The water was generally very nice and calm to swim in too. The grounds of the property were immaculate! The condo itself was not new and overly updated but very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the a/c worked! It is the third time we rent the same condo, which is probably the best review in itself. We live in California, we have been to Hawai'i many times, and we have stayed at very nice resorts but this place is hard to beat. The beach is ten steps away and this small private complex with its large balconies and patios all facing the water does not have large pool areas or roads to cross to get to the ocean. You can have dinner on the balcony and enjoy the spectacular sunsets if you don't feel like going to a restaurants, there is enough space. The manager is very responsive and helpful, and the townhouse itself is very nice.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the lanai as well as the centralized location. We could walk to the coffee shop, farmers market, and even the canoe club! The unit was amazing! It was clean, up-to-date, and felt like home. We didn’t use the air conditioner that much, but when we needed it, we were so glad this unit had it! The view was magnificent and the walk to the beach was maybe a minute long. The walk to the farmers market (wonderful papaya!), ABC Store, bakery, and shaved ice was less than 5 minutes by road and about 8 minutes via the beach. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back!

This condo is more spacious than the pictures show. You can see and hear the ocean from the living room and patio, the furniture is comfortable, the bedrooms have closets and dressers for your belongings. we loved our stay here, the beach was just steps from the patio as was the pool. Parking is easy and it is very easy to get around Maui from here. The town have a lot of restaurants and grocery stores.

We recently stayed at a beautiful property in Maui, and overall, it was a great experience. The rental itself was stunning—spacious, well-designed, and located in a fantastic area. It had so much potential and really made our trip memorable.That said, there were a few areas where the rental fell short. While the home was visually impressive, it lacked some basic essentials for a comfortable stay—things like an adequate supply of towels and everyday necessities were missing. Additionally, while the property appeared clean at a glance, it could benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning. We noticed dust buildup in corners and on baseboards, which detracted slightly from the overall experience.With a few improvements in stocking and cleaning, this place could easily be five-star. We’d still recommend it, especially for the location and layout, but hope to see those details addressed in the future.

Our family stayed in this lovely corner condo and loved every minute! The location was ideal, with gorgeous views all day long. Adults appreciated the very comfortable beds, AC and well equipped kitchen. Kids loved the easy beach access, pools and adorable geckos they found. Living and dining room had ample comfy seating. Location in Kiehi was great for getting to other parts of the island. The condo and surrounding property were pristine, and mid-week cleaning offered was a nice bonus. Communication with manager was great. We highly recommend this condo in this charming Ma'alea Surf complex.

We love the location of this property. At the north end of Kihei, it's a great launch point to get anywhere on the island. The property is clean and well kept. The landscaping is top notch. Easy access to the beach (Sugar Beach). The unit we staying in was fantastic, and has a larger sq ft footprint than other places we've stayed. Only 2 real minor complaints - 1) no hot tub on the property; 2) tiny microscopic ants all over the kitchen (though this seems to be common on ground floor units at this property)

From booking to check in to check out the process was easy and the location communication was excellent. The location was perfect with easy ground floor exit straight out to the pool and beach. Perfect for families with kids (like ours). The location was also great to get to other local beaches or to head out north or east exploring other parts of the island. We would definitely stay here again.
