The water view was awesome as was the condo. They had room ac’s but they seemed to keep us cool enough. We went in March and it was adequate. The living room unit wasn’t real cool so it may need replacing before too long but it was perfectly fine for us! The owners take care of all the little extras which usually add up. Dish soap and dishwasher detergent even Tide for laundry. We were very comfortable and the bed and beddings were very nice! The pool area is lovely and sunsets are gorgeous right off the balcony. My husband and I were just talking about what a great location it is also.

This is a great place to stay in North Kīhei. Even though this area can get windier at times, it is a great central place to stay on the west side of Maui. We were able to enjoy sight-seeing all over the island without spending too much time driving (even our starting point on the Shaka Guide app for the road to Hana was around 25-30 minutes away). There were many shopping centers and eateries that were only 5-15 minutes away as well. We have used VRBO for various vacations and I have to say that John and Darlene have one of the best equipped condos. I am an over packer and was even more so when it came to staying at their place. We had so many essentials such as staple kitchen and laundry items, beach equipment, toiletries, linens/towels, etc. The condo itself is very clean and perfectly decorated to give you that beach oasis feel. Be aware that the building itself is a little older. The elevator was down for a majority of our stay but this unit is in the 2nd floor so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience.Darlene is the main contact when it comes to communication and she is great about responding in a timely manner, especially once your stay has started. Beautiful ocean view…great stay. Easy check in and spotlessly clean in arrival. Unit equipped with everything needed for our visit…except a corkscrew! We took care of that little issue and left the one we purchased. Bed comfortable and wonderful sleeping with the surf lapping outside. Unit is located next to 2 plus miles of the best unbuilt beach on the island. Great for walking. We will return!

We had a wonderful stay here, especially loving sitting on the lanai watching and photographing whales! The view of the mountains, water and beach is breathtaking. Listening to the waves as we fell asleep at night was so peaceful. The unit was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped for all our needs, and the washer/ dryer handy. The location on the beach is ideal, and also very convenient to many activities, shopping and restaurants and food trucks. The owner was very responsive to our questions. The facility itself is nice. Everything was well maintained and clean. The beach is lovely. Our particular unit was very close to the highway. It made the Lanai virtually unusable due to the road noise. It was also extremely noisy inside the unit even with the doors and windows closed. I would stay in a ocean facing unit in this building, but not one with a Lanai to the west. I feel like this information should be more clear when booking.

This place is amazing. The balcony has breathtaking views of Ma'alaea Bay and the West Maui Mountains. We visited in February, and we saw whales from the balcony every day! We fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves.The amenities, too, were even better than we'd been expecting. The kitchen was well-stocked, the powered recliner was really comfy, and there was a binder full of suggestions for local restaurants and attractions. The host is accommodating and friendly and quick to respond to messages.

The process for checking in was easy and we had all of the info we needed in advance. The condo was well-equipped and the appliances worked. The location was excellent. Our only notes are that the living room area rug needs to be cleaned and the shower water did not get really hot.

I had a short but peaceful stay here. The cover shot for the condo was taken with a wide-angle lens, so the ocean appears further away from the balcony railing than it really is. It's close! If you love sleeping to a roaring surf, this is the condo for you. I did not hear any noise from the neighbors during my stay. Also, this condo building is the last one before the open space leading up to the nature reserve. It feels a bit more removed from the hustle and bustle of town. When you walk north on the beach, you will see the locals enjoying this less touristy, unmanicured long stretch of narrow beach. The green lawn you see in the cover photo is frequented by chatty roosters that start up at sunrise, so bring a white noise machine if you want to sleep in. In Feburuary you can spot humpback whale spouts from the balcony. The condo is stocked with everything you will need - but do bring your own beach towels. Great communication with the manager. I would definitely stay here again.

We would recommend this property to any couple! It is on the quiet end of Kihei and easy to get to all pats of the rest of the island. The condo was wonderful in every way. 5 stars for the condo!The property management company was a problem. One problem we encountered was we noticed the screen on their beautiful sliding glass door was off the track so when we wanted more fresh air we couldn't close the screen. When they called us about the building power being iut i told them the sliding screen door was off the track when we srrived. It was not broken, just off the track. 2 days later i received a call about their submitting a claim on my behalf to get it repaired but i wouldn't have to pay because the repair cost was below a certsin limit. I told them I was not authorizing them to submit a claim. The story goes on and it was a problem i had to deal with. One other thing about the management company was how they charged the VRBO fees and taxes; they seemed to be over charging us.

Amazing balcony and ocean-facing windows in every room (except bathroom). Views of Haleakalā summit, the ocean, and both sides of the bay. Loving coming home to geckos outside the front door every night. Would return again! Very quiet during the day and at night, aside from the crashing of waves. The volume and pattern of the waves was different every night, you are really right on the beach and the waves are wonderfully loud. Sandy beach for walking and swimming. Perfect location. 10-15 min drive to Kihei (grocery, restaurants), 10 minutes from the dock, 5 min to wildlife refuge, 1 min to convenience store. Top floor. Elevator down to pool/beach and parking. Well kept grounds. Air conditioning was excellent. The master bedroom has its own window-style unit, and the rest of the apartment has another such unit. We need AC to sleep and it got cool enough at night in both bedrooms. There are a few fans you can use & ceiling fans if you'd rather enjoy the fresh ocean air. Well stocked kitchen supplies, beach towels, cleaning supplies including vacuum. Everything perfectly clean. Mini laundry unit worked great.Good layout, pretty much anywhere you are you can see the ocean out a window. Bathroom layout is likely a little tight if you have a walker. Good shower with seat built in, but no handrails. Covered parking garage with elevator. Good communication from local site manager when we couldn't find the garage opener (which was obsolete).

Awesome!Everything about this place was great! Lydia has thoughtfully created a space with all that we needed for our visit to include items/amenities in the unit & grounds. Beach chairs, towels and even an ice chest to borrow! Parking is very convenient. Location great. Place is very clean and is well represented by the pictures - especially the view! Lydia was responsive and when i contacted her about a hair dryer not working - she made sure i had one within the next 24 hrs even though i told her i could do without. I would stay here again with out question!! Thank you lydia
