The rental was clean and well stocked! We loved the beach as it was sandy, not crowded and so close!! Also enjoyed the pool. The sleeping arrangements worked perfectly with the "nook" bed.

We got to wake up and walk on the beach every morning. We chose this location and rental over the expensive resort experiences because of two things. The proximity to the beach and the ability to make our own food. Having a kitchen was essential for us and we were very happy with how things went. We were really happy with our stay in Kihei and would return again. Perks of the rental were all the towels, washer and dryer, and the beach equipment for the kids.

We had a great experience with the vacation rental. The unit was comfortable for 2 people. Views from the lanai were nice of the ocean and the grassy shaded area outside the unit was pleasant with no complex next to it. There were plenty of beach towels and the AC worked great. One day someone was parked in our parking spot and management was helpful in getting this resolved. The only “downside” comments or things we noticed were: the beach chairs are quite worn and can rip at any time, there were not any smaller storage containers for food items, and with windows and doors open for breezes, the road noise is rather loud as the unit is on the side and it is a main road and there is activity on it at all hours of the day and night. Some road noise could be heard with doors and windows shut. The AC running sound at night did drown out most noise.

We loved the beach access and the location of the property. It was very nice and updated on the inside. Overall it was clean. The reason I rated 4 stars is because the unit had roaches…mostly in the kitchen on the counters and in drawers, but we also saw a few in other areas of the house. We had to put all of our food in the fridge because bugs would get In the bags. We told the apartment manager and she came to spray and even tidied up a bit, but obviously spraying once isn’t going to eliminate the bugs. We continued to see them throughout our stay. It was a little disappointing because we paid so much money to stay there. Overall, the communication with the host was great and they attempted to correct issues we presented. The unit is a bit smaller in person than I anticipated based on the pictures. However, the description was accurate. Hopefully the bug problem will be fixed for future guests.

My 3 adult children and I loved our visit to the Sugar beach area! Such a beautiful beach and grounds. Everything was wonderful at the property, but our unit was a bit small for us. I would definitely return however. Thanks for the hospitality!

Amazing view and so easy to be on the beach. Husband swam and ran every day right out our door. The property offered so many conveniences like lounge chairs! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect place, It is located right in the middle of the island so everything is accessible! They offer everything you need like clothes soap, dishwasher soap, towels and chairs for the beach.. We loved to stay there, nothing to complain about, we will certainly come back!

3rd time we've stayed here...lovely location, safe and convenient. Just walked 30 seconds out our door to the pool and beach. Easy parking and access, Sugar Beach is so walkable and relaxing, and perfect sunset views! Unit was clean and well stocked. Only thing I would love to see is a few more bowls and coffee cups in our unit since we loved our quick breakfasts so we could get more beach time in. :)

Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a few of the ocean from the lanai. The room was clean and offered what we needed while staying, a kitchen, shower and AC! We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out exploring the island or swimming in the ocean or the on site pool.

It’s everything you can hope for from a vacation rental. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close proximity to everything you need for a great vacation. And the beach the condo sits on is so perfect you almost never need to leave. The office personnel are fantastic as well.

If you like being away from the crowds, stay here! We don’t deem ourselves big resort people, so this place was lovely for a peaceful getaway. We sat on the balcony each morning watching the water and drinking coffee. Great location to access other parts of the island, such as the road to Hana.

We loved our stay. The beds were comfy, shower hot and good pressure, all the kitchen stuff you could ever need. Loved the location and condo amenities. Grills, outdoor picnic tables, wonderful pool, great parking, lawn chairs, great beach access. Road noise was loud but not awful when running the AC at night. We slept super comfortably. Can’t wait to come back.

It was perfect for myself and 3 kids. Loved that it had direct access to beach and it felt as if we were on a private beach. Not crowded and just absolutely beautiful. Close to harbor, aquarium, grocery store. Able to walk next door and rent snorkeling gear for kids. Definitely be back again

The condo was great w beautiful ocean view from one side of livingroom and lanai. Lanai opens up onto highway side of bldg. Modern apartment, comfy bed, kitchen. So close to ocean you can hear the ocean waves... if you can tune out the constant busy highway noise which is closer than waves on beach. If you're looking for serene natural environment this is not it. The condo is sweet w all amenities, small white sandy beach and grassy area at back of building. Pool was locked. Didn't have key to open and contact person not available for 10 days. Alternate number was message machine for property mgt co. Also portable AC in bedroom blows right in your face. I wouldnt rent again unless same was available facing ocean side.

Nice location. Had trouble getting the TV's to work. We found out to get a good nights sleep turn the ac unit in the bedroom to high and close the door. In the living room move the chair in front of the ac unit and turn on. When you go to bed turn the ac unit to FAN, leave the door open and the living room ac will keep the whole place cool. The AC unit is the bedroom is very loud when it turns on and off.

Nice, clean condo in a great location on a quiet beach. Great getaway for a couple. The pool was super clean and they provided lounge chairs for the beach which was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved that the beach was foot steps away and you can hear the waves from the ocean which is so calming. Only down fall is you can hear the traffic early in the morning. However Sherry and Rodger were great!!
