Beautiful property and fully equipped with kitchenware that made things really easy for us! Tried to leave things as clean as possible on the way out to maintain the quality of your place! Will be staying again for sure!

This was our 7th stay at Sugar Beach. We have STR's ourselves and are pretty easy going about condo stays. We don't care about older fixtures, appliances and furniture as long as they work. The main problems with this condo was the terrible quality of the sheets, towels, and blankets. They are very long in the tooth. The blankets smelled so bad we went out and bought our own. And the kitchen is worst stocked kitchen I have ever seen. 4 plates! We were constantly having to wash dishes just so we could be ready for the next meal. I would not stay at this unit again and will make that request next trip to Sugar Beach.

We enjoyed our stay in our ocean facing 5th floor condo. The views were amazing. We saw numerous whales in the distance multiple times a day. The beach was nice to walk on and the pool very relaxing. The overall building was in good shape (a little older). The only negatives were the smaller parking spaces and the garbage chute stunk too much. The central location was good for us as we liked exploring the whole island

This place was really nice and was beyond our expectations. We got caught up in the Southwest cancellation and had to rearrange our dates. The place was available and the property manager was so helpful in putting the pieces in place for us. This place had all the accommodations that we needed to make this vacation one of the best. Mahalo, we will definitely come here again.

Since 1988, we have stayed at Sugar Beach condos about 12 times. It is conveniently located right on an incredible beach, has wonderful, clean grounds, and is easy to find. We love that each unit has a full kitchen and laundry facility and there is barbecues for use near the pool. Perfect for families to use as a base to explore or just relax.

A spacious condo with a patio overlooking the beach - can’t get much better than that!! The condo is fully stocked with kitchenware, laundry machines, a dishwasher, and even things like sunscreen, beach toys, and a blow dryer! The beach was never crowded and there were always open chaises but the beach! If you are looking for a super modern condo, this wouldn’t be for you, but we didn’t mind. The only semi-complaint I have about our stay was that a couple days before we left, there was “maintenance” performed on the AC unit for all of the condos facing the beach. We were made aware that we would be without AC for a day, but it didn’t cool off to what the thermostat was set at (67-68 F) the rest of our stay.

Loved this spot and definitely would return. Beautiful expansive views over the ocean. Surprisingly quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors much at all. Saw dolphins and whales all from this view! It's also a great location, far enough from Kihei to not be over crowded on the beach (we largely had it to ourselves at times) but close enough to easily make the trip to the grocery or a bite to eat, and just a short drive up the coast to other beaches, 12min from the airport, and 20min from road to Hana. Also the folks working there were absolutely wonderful and you can rent SUP boards, beach chairs, snorkeling stuff, all right in the complex. The only downside was the bed was a bit too soft for my back's liking and the kitchen could have used a few more amenities like more tupperware, spices, tinfoil, basic amenities like that.

I have rented condos at sugar beach since 1980’s NEVER HAD OLD, DATED FACILITIES. CONDO NEEDS AN ENTIRE UPGRADE. CARPET WASNASTY AND HATED TO WALK ON IT. APPLIANCES WERE REALLY OLD THE O LY GOOD THING ABOUT IT WAS THE VIEW.

Location of condo is excellent. Views are spectacular! Very clean & adequately appointed. Could use a few basic items, but can do without them. A little pricey with All the Fees added on.

Wonderful view from our condo. Liked the small private beach area. Enjoyed our stay. Only used the pool area once, and the hot tub was not working properly.
