We had a wonderful stay here. Very clean and nice updates to the condo. Very quiet and easy access to the beach out front went for a walk or run every morning. Close to many other beaches and good food and coffee locations in Kihei. Would definitely look to stay here again.

When we learned that our accommodations in Lahaina had been lost in the fire, we switched gears and found Randy and Judy's condo on Sugar Beach in Kihei. Judy was very helpful in communicating what was happening on the south side (Kihei). The condo is in a well maintained complex with easy access, covered parking, and a short walk to the elevator. The complex has a large pool and jacuzzi with barbecues close to the beach. The unit has a beautiful view visible upon opening the door. The unit is immaculately clean and well organized. Kitchenware is high quality; dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots & pans, blender etc. The complex is conveniently located to the airport, shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Communication with Randy & Judy was seamless.

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach! We found the listing to be completely accurate and so beautiful. We saw the staff daily caring for the property and ensuring that everywhere was clean. If you plan on exploring this is the perfect location for whichever side of the island you want to go to. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We've stay at SBR before. We like the location and the vibe in this part 9f the island. Central to pretty much everything. Unit is perfect with everything you'll need!
Not specifically related to this unit, but the pool was a nightmare with screaming kids, running and jumping in the pool splashing people (after they read the signs that say not to jump or dive) and we chose to leave the pool a few times because of it. The management simply said "the parents let the kids do it" and would not address it. Too bad people aren't naturally compelled to be courteous.

We were in town for a wedding in Kihei at the Sugar Hill Estate just a few doors down. Staying in this location was fantastic. It was really fun working remote from the back deck each day and watching the beach activity wake up. Great walking beach with lots of bodysurfing. Very quiet, family oriented, friendly location. This unit was immaculate with all the basics provided. Equipped with everything you need to hit the beach minutes after arrival including beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella!

Thank you so much for allowing to stay in your condo. We are celebrating 33 years of marriage and it was perfect for the first week of our trip. The condo was stocked with everything we needed for the week and more. The view was breathtaking, so relaxing, beautiful and peaceful. The Pool was wonderful and quiet. The morning walks on the beach and the convenience of the shave ice, local market and ABC Store was perfect! The condo was well cared for and comfortable. We hope to visit again,

Perfect location and close to all of Maui attractions.
This condo was perfect! It had all the comforts of home with a well stocked kitchen, bath supplies, and the most beautiful view from the lanai.
The king size bed was so comfortable and we loved the softest towels ever! Definitely 5 stars!
To our surprise there was coffee, butter and a half dozen eggs left from the previous guest.

We loved our stay at Randy and Judy's condo! It's centrally located on the island so it was easy getting around. There are also many yummy restaurants nearby, which made it really convenient. Sugar beach is beautiful and we enjoyed watching many sunsets there. We highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Last year we stayed in this same unit (519) for our honeymoon and we returned to the same unit for out first anniversary. We just love the unit, the resort, the location, and the island. Everything here is so great.
No complaints other than that we have to return to the mainland.

We loved our stay in this clean condo unit with beautiful views! The beach is good for boogie boarding and swimming. We enjoyed walking to nearby Sugar Beach Bakery and Ululani’s - so good. This location is a great base for activities on both the west side of the island and Haleakala/Road to Hana. Would definitely return!

Our first time to Maui and we got so lucky finding this condo! It was truly the perfect home away from home. First, Sugar Beach in Kihei is a perfect location. The condo has all the amenities of a full kitchen to cook meals with perfect space to lounge and enjoy the views on the lanai all day. Beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella provided for adventures around the island. Plenty of bath and beach towels. The condo was clean and welcoming. King size bed was comfortable. AC works like a charm. I'd pick this cozy, private place over a resort any day!!

There were many things we liked about this property and overall it was a good experience and I would return.
My concerns are cleanliness, especially the floor and lanai. Also, the dryer vent and other units fan/vents seems to empty into our shower.
We had smokers ( both tobacco and weed) that we complained about but we were unable to identify which rooms they were in. This is not the fault of management however. The shower handle completely fell off the wall but the management was very responsive. Overall a good stay.

Everything was great at the condo. Great location away from the hustle and bustle in South Kihei. Great beach to walk/play on. Great view of the sea. Condo had everything you could need, even beach chairs, umbrella and coolers. Only negative is the WiFi, I think it is the condo building ISP provider not the condo's equipment, When a lot of people were on it slowed down to a crawl. Using in early morning or late evening it worked well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay.. The condo was clean and well stocked with equipment and supplies. The cleanliness and recent updates made it THE BEST of the more than 10 VRBO places we have rented. The bed was extremely comfortable- we are now looking to replace our own bed with the same model. Water leaked into our condo from the condo above ours, but the attentive response from both the owners and the condo management appropriately resolved the problem. The views from the lanai were incredible, made especially nice with the comfortable chairs. Thank you,Judy and Randy, for your responsiveness before and during our stay.

We had a great stay at Judy and Randy’s place. View from the lanai was better than any all-inclusive resort we’ve stayed at. Outdoor furniture is comfortable and chairs are the perfect height to watch the ocean. Made use of the supplied beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella everyday. Central location perfect for exploring every corner of the island. Snorkel rentals on-site was very convenient. Hope to stay again soon!

This was our first trip to Maui, and we were not disappointed! Randy and Judy's place was an excellent choice to stay, the photos were very representative of this upgraded condominium, and the location is perfect. We spent much time on the 5th floor balcony watching the whales frolic and taking in the breathtaking views! This condominium was very clean, updated, had everything we needed for our weeklong stay, from the modern kitchen to the Maui specific guides and informational books. In the evening, we enjoyed the comfortable living area, which opens onto the balcony, listening to the waves coming into Sugar Beach. This unit had easy beach access and we spent much time walking the beach, knowing we had such an awesome place for our stay. Plenty of parking, easy access to roadways, and friendly staff added to our great experience. We would definitely recommend this condominium and would stay there again. Randy and Judy kept in touch throughout the entire process and welcomed us to their place. Thank you, Randy and Judy, for sharing such a wonderful place with us!

The Owners of this property are very gracious to work with and have thought of EVERYTHING to make this a home away from home. Including the beach chairs and cooler!
The property was immaculate and was well stocked with all that was needed.
Every day we had breakfast, lunch and dinner with the WHALES!
We watched the whales, sunsets, the Canoe Club, pleasure boats and paddleboats from the Lani. Very Relaxing!

Condo is clean, sharp, contemporary and gorgeous throughout with meaningful, home style amenities. Nothing is lacking. From the lanai is a million dollar view that includes all types of water activities, people watching, whale watching, beautiful sunsets, the ocean surf, a warm breeze and palm trees swaying! Ground level is the pool, hot tub and everything wonderful that Maui has to offer!

This was one of the nicest condos we have ever rented! The location is right on the beach, and the view can't be beat. We watched the sunset in the evening from the lanai. The condo has been completely renovated and updated, and it is wonderfully outfitted with everything you will need for your stay. It rained a little while we were there, but the condo is so nice, it wasn't a big deal to stay in part of the time. The bed was comfortable, and the location in Sugar Beach is perfect. We would love to stay in this beautiful condo again. Thank you for making our staycation so perfect!

What a great rental! Everything was in excellent condition and squeeky clean. The applicances and furnishings are high end and in excellent condition. The condo is stocked well with items you need. The check in was simple. We used the pool and jacuzzi and always found it clean.
This unit is steps to the beach and has convenient places to clean your feet and gear when you come off thee beach.
Parking was easy and we had no problem getting covered parking.
The BEST part of this whole week was the balcony and view from the condo. The balcony faces south and you can watch the sunrise and the sunset from the comfort of the balcony. We saw turtles feeding 20 yards off shore and watched whales breech in the bay – all from the balcony. The balcony furniture is comfortable and in excellent condition. The sliding glass doors open fully so your living room extend out to the balcony.
You can be on the beautiful beach walking in 2 minutes. The beach is wonderful soft sand ½ mile east and at lest a mile west.
The unit is stocked with sand chairs and a cooler.
Waking up to the beautiful sunrise and the sounds and sights of the ocean was fantastic!
The owner were very responsive. The bad storm that hit Maui just before we arrived had knocked out the power to the elevators and the owners texted me before we got to Maui to let us know. The elevator was fixed the next day.
Don’t settle for a partial ocean view – you want this full ocean view on the 5th floor that is stunning!

This was the perfect condo for our week in Maui. It was centrally located, had its own pool and beach and the views from the lanai were incredible. We were celebrating our honeymoon, having just married on the Big Island and spending a week there in the cold and wet Kilauea Volcano. Warm and sunny Maui is just what we needed after lots of rain on the Big Island.
The condo was on the 5th floor and has a lanai overlooking the water with a beautiful view. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations after the week on the Big Island in a rustic cabin in the volcano national park.
The condo's kitchen has everything, including some leftover vodka, rum, coffee, and more. We were so pleased to be able to mix drinks, cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the condo and save a small fortune on eating out.
The pool, hot tub, and even a sauna were only feet from a beautiful beach and ocean.
We'd hit the beach and swim, snorkel (not much to see other than some small fish), but it was fun, nonetheless and there were no crowds. We'd then walk to the outdoor poolside showers and wash off before hitting the pool and hot tub before returning upstairs for dinner and relaxation.
The views of the sunsets were fantastic.
The king-sized bed and soft pillows were just what the doctor ordered.
The shower was a bit smaller than we'd hoped, but it worded great. I really loved the European-styled head which allows you to hold it and wash the sand off easier than a fixed-headed shower we so often see here in the states.
The fans in the bedroom and living room were great too.
We'll definitely be returning and trying to get this unit.
The parking was easy and there was plenty. No issues there. I'd highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a clean and perfectly located condo to relax for a week.

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach! The beach is beautiful and perfect for swimming but it does get very very windy at this beach and just in Kihei in general in the afternoons. Just keep that in mind and plan to go somewhere else in the afternoons if you want to be on the beach. Our stay was amazing and this condo is beautiful!! Loved it!
