Great stay. Hosts very attentive. Clean! Well thought out for guests. Had beach chairs body board, all the kitchen supplies you can think of, washer and dryer. Fantastic view of the ocean steps away from the condo! Beautiful for the sunset! We really enjoyed our stay!

All in all, the property is awesome, we spent 6 nights here, the owner was very communicative and checked in to make sure everything was going well. The other residents of the building were very nice and the amenities were great. This property is a short walk from a fantastic bake shop and local store, and a very easy drive to some very good restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here, especially with the property being directly on the beach. Big thanks to Jerry and Melinda - they have the place set up very well and the must haves (beach chairs, towels, sun shade and cooler) is all provided for your beach adventures. The condo itself is very cute and is the perfect beach getaway style of place. Big thanks, we will definitely be back!!

Beautiful unit, lots of amenities, great welcome basket i don't think there was anything else you could have provided. I would highly recommend to anyone. location is great, beach is long and safe. View of ocean is lovely. BBQs were always clean and in great working order.

We stayed in this beautiful condo in Maui last week, and it was truly amazing! Melinda made sure our check-in at midnight was seamless, and kept in contact throughout our visit. The welcome basket was a nice surprise, and very much appreciated! We met several other guests downstairs at the barbecues, and they gave us great tips on exploring Maui. We drove all the way around the Road To Hana, going the opposite direction, starting on the unpaved road.😳 My favorite part of the trip was watching the sunset over the ocean, and that final flash of green every evening from the lanai. Will definitely book another trip!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kihei. It was the perfect location in Maui on a beautiful beach. The condo was clean and well-appointed. The lanai had beautiful views and was a great place to eat breakfast and drink our coffee. We also enjoyed the chairs and the umbrella provided. The welcome basket was a really nice touch that was greatly appreciated.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at the Sugar Beach resort and this unit was the best so far. Our 1 bedroom was clean and ready early and had everything we could have asked for - even beach towels! The owners were very attentive through-out the stay. The main area was nicely updated and had a very comfortable sofa/sectional - in fact that was the main draw for my husband. The bed was oversized and very comfortable as well. The kitchen had everything you could need. The check in process was easy and the resort is centrally located. We especially enjoyed to long sandy beach.

The unit and the view were great. The hosts had everything you could possibly want or need available. Every detail was perfect. Having the beach chairs, beach towels and cooler was such a great perk.
The unit itself is beautifully decorated, you can easily see that so much thought and effort was put into this unit to make it such a wonderful vacation experience. We completely felt at home and would not hesitate to return.
They even have a Maui guide book in the unit that proved to be so helpful.

I have stayed at Sugar Beach 5+ times with my family and we always stay in the same unit- Beach/ocean front. This was a girlfriends trip and my usual condo was not available… so began looking at other options. This until is on the second floor back off the ocean more in the garden area - I thought I would miss the view of ocean front BUT not at all! The view from here is gorgeous! You get to look over the pool and through the palm trees…. Which created awesome sunset photos! We could see the whales even. The little waterfall is right off this lani. Sitting outside in the mornings and evening is beautiful and so relaxing.
The condo is very clean and has everything you need and then some! I slept on the pull out couch for 8 nights - it was like a normal bed - and memory foam- no coils in this pull out!
Melinda has thought of everything to make your vacation smooth!
Melina was a great communicator at just the right time… as if she was reading my mind when I needed something. The welcome email was fabulous even for someone that has been to Maui several times and over researches everything! The welcome gifts - perfect! If I someday was to own a condo and rent it out I would want to treat my guests just like Melina has treated and prepared for us! She is one of the top hosts I have experienced on many vacations!
Consider yourself lucky if your dates are available for your Maui stay! I will be back to this gem!

The location was quiet and peaceful. The condo was spacious, maintained and very clean. The host had everything you would need to make one’s stay perfect. The gift basket was a lovely touch and the host kept in touch to exude your stay was memorable. Bonus: it’s mid February and there was a lot of whale action! Thank you for sharing your vacation home. We will be back!!!

Cannot recommend staying at this property enough!! It has a beautiful view of the ocean, with stunning sunsets almost every night! There’s a nice balcony where you can eat breakfast and dinner and watch the ocean. The pool, hot tub, and beach are all right there as well. Central location is great: easy to get to Lahaina side and easy to get to Wailea/Makena. The apartment itself is super nice. Big kitchen and huge king bed. There are also beach towels, beach chairs, and even boogie boards! There’s a huge flat screen tv in the living room. Washer dryer in unit is a nice plus too. They also thoughtfully left a little gift basket with things like sunscreen. HIGHLY recommend! Hope to return!

The owner asked in advance if they could provide a little holiday cheer (little tree, stocking decorations, etc.) Being here on a work trip, it was a lovely touch to my week. Every little detail is thought of. Love this place!!

We checked in late at night and it was very simple! The code on the door entry is perfect! The condo was exactly as advertised. We've stayed in many condos and this was one of the best, maybe THE best - Totally equipped! My daughter was sleeping on the fold-out couch and they had it all ready for us, and it was comfortable! They provided beach chairs, towels, a bag to carry to the beach (which proved to be a lifesaver!), brand new kitchen and bathroom supplies! They thought of absolutely everything! There were even Keurig starter pods for us. So often, the owners seem to put all their old leftover utensils in the rental...not here. Top-notch stuff! The knives actually worked! The view off the patio was AMAZING!! The grounds of the resort are pristine! It was so convenient having a place to rent snorkel gear, paddleboard, etc. steps away! We snorkeled right here, and elsewhere. The owner gave us tons of fantastic referrals ahead of time. Melinda was wonderful to work with, very responsive, and helpful! The only reason we may not return is that it gets very windy in this location. However, we still spent LOTS of time on the beach here. The grassy area right above the beach is a great alternative to sitting on the sand when it's windy. The pool area is beautiful, but it got really busy. We may have spent more time there if it wasn't so crowded...but it was Thanksgiving week. Just having the pool to look at was nice. I enjoyed that. This condo was all that it advertised and more!

FIVE STARS!!! I absolutely loved my stay at Sugar Beach. Perfect location. It was so relaxing to go sit out on the patio and have my coffee each morning while enjoying the views of the Pacific Ocean. The furniture was all super comfortable and the internet speeds were great. Being the Coffee snob that I am, I really appreciated the option of a coffee maker as well as a Keurig.
The host was super attentive and friendly whenever I reached out with a question. I would definitely recommend staying at SB 208 and will for sure stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Everything was clean, well furnished and worked great. All the little extras were appreciated and used. The AC was cool, the ceiling fans were strong and the mattress was comfortable, all very important things for us! The property is right on the water, so it’s a short walk down to get your feet in the delightfully warm water. It’s also great access to lots of activities and food. Definitely a great experience!

Melinda’s place is easily the perfect stay for all Maui travelers . Its location is just steps away from the ocean and the pool as well as the parking lot. The compound is also super quiet and this stay was the most laid back, relaxing vacations we’ve ever had. Melinda is a superb host making check in and check out smooth as well as having great communication. This property is fully equipped with everything you’ll ever need for a stupendous vacation. The beds are comfortable and the sofa bed was super convenient for our party of 4. The place was very clean and the AC unit was modern and efficient unlike those window AC units you see in other Maui properties. The washer and dryer was a life saver as we were able to wash and dry our swim trunks and dirty laundry, avoiding that horrible odor in our luggages. The highlight of our stay was the lanai. The lanai has a nice sized table which allowed me and my family to have breakfast together while having this breathtaking view of the ocean. We wanted to get away from the city life and this place does just that. This is our new go to spot when in Maui and we look forward to staying at this beautiful property in the near future. The owners thought of everything. The condo was perfect for my business trip with a beautiful setting for morning and evening beach strolls. Fully appointed and they thought of things that we might need that we wouldn't have thought of. Appreciative of all of the amenities and the special, little touches throughout the condo. Can’t say enough great things about the hosts. Attentive and inviting and helpful and on and on. The place was clean, quiet and spacious with all your needs and wants anticipated and provided for.
Not too much immediately around the resort so you’ll need a vehicle; but both Kihei and Wailea are just minutes away, the airport 30 mins, the Hana Hwy forty mins, etc.
