The location of this property was awesome. The only complaint would be we rarely had hot water and the room it’s self needed a little upgrading for comfort. All in all, we will be back!

Property is somewhat dated and worn, but the location is absolutely great! Centrally located so easy to get to East or west Maui. Right on the beach and the sound of the waves is great sleeping background. Kitchen adequate. Furnishings could use replacement, including nasty carpet. Bathroom needs a major overhaul. But we didn’t come here to stay in the room! It definitely met our needs.

Enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. However, the unit itself needs a little work. Carpet in the living room was heavily stained. The bedroom pillows were very hard and difficult to sleep on. As a family that owns VRBO units we felt there should have been more supplies for the guests such as toilet paper, Kleenex, more pods for the dishwasher and washing machine. We had to purchase salt and pepper shakers! We also provide our guests with spices, enough coffee for their stay, microwave popcorn, and basic condiments like ketchup and mustard. Also napkins! There were no cleaning supplies for us to wipe down the glass dining or coffee tables. There was a small sponge which I did use to wipe things up a bit. Regular beach towels would also have been nice instead of the micro fiber ones in the unit. Overall we did have a nice stay.

Unbeatable location with everything you’d want or need for a great vacation. The place was clean and well equipped, with fantastic views. We enjoyed the pool and long walks on the beach everyday. This is an ideal place to explore the island. Loved it!

The room was extremely clean, lots of extras in the kitchen which was surprisingly great! We just had to buy food - pots, pans, dishes and utensils were all provided. We loved the fact that the room is on a corner so we have extra windows and it's a quiet location. (There was a party in the pool area one night but folks departed at 11pm which was perfect!) We'll be recommending this room to friends!

My wife and I loved our stay at Sugar Beach Condo 314. It was our 30th Anniversary and everything turned out great!!! Perfect location and the condo had everything we needed to enjoy the island. Especially enjoyed buying fresh fish and grilling in the evening. Highly recommend!!!

View from balcony was magical! Spent most of our time there. Unit itself really needs a coat of paint and updated decor. Tv is so small it was hard to read channel guide. Kitchen was well stocked and resort is very clean.

Overall it was a good basic property for Kihei, location was great! Beach was nice and views amazing
Our suggestions would be to remove the faux leather desk chair in the bedroom and have 2 luggage racks to put suitcases on. It makes the place look cheap. Carpets could stand a deep clean, and the 80's artwork was a bit over kill.
Also the shower doors were scary, installed backwards and no knob to close door on inside. My husband is a contractor.

The suite was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The view was fabulous and it was great to lie out in the beach chairs at night to watch the stars. We ate out for every meal, but there was a large assortment of kitchen gadgets and utensils and seems like it has everything you need to make a lovely meal to enjoy on the Lanai. Check in process was easy and we appreciated that the front door is a keypad and not a key! It’s a little thing but so nice not to have to worry about losing at a key at the beach! Overall, great stay, would stay again!

It had been 10+ years since last in Maui. Two of my best & longest girlfriends and I decided Sugar Beach was our destination of choice. Our condo was perfect in every way. Think of the best resort accomodations and you will certainly want to reserve your place at this resort. Centrally located with access to all Maui's beautiful beaches, restaurants and activities. We look forward to coming back for a repeat perfect vacation.

Everything about the room was great. The mopboards could use some cleaning up. Either paint or just elbow grease. But , we would go back for sure. The towel racks and toilet paper holder could use some updating. But great view, clean, and well stocked.

Fantastic location, million dollar view, great walking beach but the entire building desperately needs a face lift and better cleaning practices.
Furniture is dated, bed was comfortable but the unit needs a “deep cleaning”.
It’s a good centralized location to stay at, easy access and only 15 minutes from the airport.
Dan was always very quick to respond to calls or text before and during our stay.

The condo had a well stocked kitchen and the sunrise to sunset view was outstanding! Walk for miles on the beach, view whales from the lanai, enjoy pool and hot tub and have lunch, dinner and a drink at on-site restaurant. The ONLY negative was the size of the TV. Had a wonderful and memorable vacation on Maui
