We enjoyed having this condo as our home base each evening after exploring Maui! We loved that it was centrally located on the island in Kihei, but not IN the busyness of Kihei. The only thing I wish was different was the size of the bathroom, the shower specifically. It is very small, with a half glass wall and no actual door to the shower. It also has an oversized rain showerhead that made it feel even smaller. It was difficult to comfortably move in the shower and stay warm. It worked ok for us as adults, but if we were traveling with kids, the shower would have made it really difficult to make sure the kids got really clean after a day at the beach. We would have been mopping up the floor after each kid shower for sure!

This cute little condo was a wonderful stay at Sugar Beach and was a comfortable home away from home over our two week honeymoon. The resort was kept clean with a beautiful beach. It was well organized and had everything we needed. We definitely would consider coming back to this ocean front condo.

Location is FANTASTIC! All high rated food trucks and restaurants are super close! The airport is also very close (about 15-20 minutes). The apartment had everything you need for your Maui vacation (beach chairs, umbrella, towels and toys). The bed was very comfortable and our son loved the sofa bed. The apartment is perfect for a family of 3 or 4. The washer and the dryer is a HUGE PLUS! - Sue is very responsive and always replies to any question or queries right away. We had a great time and we hope we get to visit Maui again! Mahalo :)

So glad we got to stay at SB201! It was such a beautiful place to stay for our family and the loacation was very convenient. It is close to everything and being literally right on the beach was a huge plus!! Sue was also an amazing host and answered all the questions before and during our stay. It had everything we needed and more! We will definitely we back again!!

Well appointed with just about everything you’d need in a kitchen, view of ocean, good sized lanai with box filled with pool and ocean toys/equipment, Nice shower, indoor puzzles and games, comfortable king bed. Not a new resort but this unit has been fully remodeled.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The unit is stunning and so comfortable, so easily accessible to all that Kihei has to offer,with wonderful amenities. Less than a 10 minute drive to Maalaea Harbor where we experienced a truly unforgettable Molokini Snorkel experience and whale watch. The property is nestled right against the beach, and the lawn out back has comfortable chairs where we watched the most beautiful sunset we saw on our entire trip to Maui. Also, very attentive host as well as on site staff.

Absolutely wonderful property and hosts. The unit was clean and comfortable, and the resort itself is welcoming, well maintained, and is equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
Kitchen was stoked with basic spices, coffee, and all of the cooking utensils we needed (including ziplock baggies and rubber ware). Great supply of beach toys as well!
Kihei is a fabulous location that’s centrally located and easy to get just about anywhere you want on the island in 30 minutes or less.
Highly recommend this property for your next Maui getaway!

We really enjoyed Sue's place in Kihei on Sugar Beach. It was equipped with everything you need to step right into your Hawaiian vacation. The condo community is right on the beach and is a short walk down the beach to a small farmer's market, ABC store, bakery and shaved ice store. We will definitely be back. Thank you Sue!

My husband and I decided to book this property for our honeymoon. It was nothing less than perfect! The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, the room and bathroom were also well stocked with everything - even shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and sunscreen! We absolutely loved the rain shower in the bathroom! The patio is so cute and has a beautiful view of the mountains, Molokini crater, and beach/ocean. The balcony is stocked with beach chairs, a boogie board, a small cooler, and some beach toys. We loved the resort overall though! Sugar beach resort was the perfect mid-point for all the activities my husband and I wanted to do! It also has an activities center where you can rent out all kinds of things for your trip (snorkels, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc.) and you can book excursions there. We also loved the sandwich shop at sugar beach resort. Such a fun little place to get food last minute! The location in general was really perfect. It has one of the longest walking beaches, great restaurants, bake shops, and shave ice so close by! The pool was really nice, but on the last few days of our trip they drained it to clean it out, which I believe they do once a year in September if I’m not mistaken. Pool cleaning started on Sept. 12th this time just FYI. So make sure when you book that you aren’t booking during their pool cleaning week if not having a pool is a deal breaker for you. I didn’t even swim in the pool though so it didn’t bother me because I only really swam in the ocean! Also, it was only about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport! All that said, this place was perfect to meet all our needs on our honeymoon and we would love to come back one day! Mahalo to Sue for being a great host!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Felt like a home away from home. Beautiful view from the balcony. Quiet at night, comfortable bed, everything we needed was supplied. We could choose whether to swim in the pool or the ocean. Hope to go back one day.

Great updated condo in perfect location. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Centrally located as a jumping off point to all parts of the island for day trips or to stay put and enjoy a wonderful beach without leaving the property.

Our stay this Sugar Beach condo made our stay to Maui. The condo was immaculate, stocked with everything you need, and the Sugar Beach grounds are perfect.
The location makes travel around Maui convenient and it is apparent that Sue does everything she can to make your stay on Maui a dream come true!

I could not have asked for a better arrangement. The condo had everything you can ask and more. The view of the ocean every day from the balcony drinking coffee is what I’ll remember most watching the canoes go by. Perfectly decorated with a great TV set up. The shower head was invigorating and the bed was super comfy. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you can need. A reef directly in front of the property about 50 yards out of you want to snorkel. Beach in front of the adjacent building has more sand when you go on the ocean with less rocks. Just a wonderful beach going each direction but to the left you can get some sweets and shave ice at Ululanis. People working the grounds all day keeping it clean. I can’t wait to come back, can’t think of a bad thing to say, it was a great vacation and a perfect place to stay. Kihei is in a good spot. We had a car so we visited different areas everyday. Kihei is more of a locals town with lots of normal choices. We hit the entire island. Parking at the property is great and close. I’ve been a travel agent for 27 years and usually stay at resorts but I would stay here again in an ocean view well decorated fully stocked condo paradise

We REALLY enjoyed our stay. The condo itself was beautifully decorated, very clean and very well kept. It had EVERYTHING we could have asked for, including what they called a starter supply of soaps, toilet paper, laundry soap, etc. which lasted us our whole stay saving us so much money! The resort itself is also REALLY well maintained. Highly impressed with how clean they kept the grounds. The fold out bed wasn’t very comfortable but honestly….are any?
My only issue was the door lock, it’s the same as we have at home so I was familiar with the “quirky” behavior. But we were locked out numerous times and had to stand there for 10 minutes or so trying to get the lock to respond (not ideal when you have a tired kid) and then also couldn't get the lock to actually lock so we could leave other times. The property manager seemed nice enough when we met but when I had to call for assistance with the door multiple times he was pretty irritated and impatient. I think it’s worth replacing the lock at this point.
Other than that we were very happy with our stay. We had friends staying in the same resort, different condo and they were really impressed with our place vs theirs.

We were so happy to have chosen well for our mother/daughter trip to Maui. It is so overwhelming to look through listings of lodging choices on the main sites. Sue’s place was just right for us! We loved the fresh/modern look, the location worked great and the condo was very well-equipped.
This Kihei location is centrally located to most places you want to visit in Maui. The balcony is relaxing and offers a great view. THANK YOU for having Kcups, beach chairs, a little cooler, great water pressure and a well-stocked kitchen.

Linens and dishes were all good and we didn’t find anything lacking. Was a great location for our first trip to Maui as it was easy drive from the airport and access to all of the island. Second year we have stayed in Sue’s wonderful condo. It is becoming like our second home. Already booked to go back next year. Love the location of the unit. Tucked in the corner on the second floor, away from the direct noise and hub bub of the pool area but still offering a spectacular view out to the pool and ocean. Well equipped, tastefully decorated. Loved the addition of Tommy Bahama beach chairs this year. Everything you need for a great holiday is provided! It is especially nice that both the table in the lanai and the table in the unit are pub style which means the chairs work for the height of both tables. This was extremely helpful when our family came over for dinner. We were all able to sit at the same table to enjoy our meal. A lot of the other condos in the resort offer two different height of tables so this worked out great to seat enough people.
Sue is always pleasant and helpful and efficient. Questions and emails are answered promptly. She takes great pride in keeping her unit in tip top shape and appreciates any suggestions to make your stay more appealing.
You will not be disappointed if you stay in Sugar Beach 201.
And....don’t worry that you are close to the end where the restaurant and office is. This resort has strict rules for noise and we were never bothered by any comings and goings from these places. Also nice to point out that the parking on the side that Sue’s unit is is covered so, in case of the odd rain event, your vehicle stays dry. The parking lot on the other side of the resort has no covering,
Looking forward to our return in December 2019! This time for 6 weeks.!

We have stayed at this property 2 years in a row now and will definitely return. The suite is tastefully decorated and modern. A wonderful view of the pool and grounds, as well as the ocean, all the amenities you will need, and the nicest shower in the complex are just a few of the highlights. The owners are always asking of ways to improve the stay for guests and we were thrilled to find new beach chairs this year. The location and feel of this property are simply the best; we love the laid back and quiet tranquility of Sugar Beach and this beautifully appointed condo is the perfect accent to the surrounding area.
