We've stayed in 10 different locations around Kihei over time and this was the best view and enjoyed the ability to hear the sound of the waves though the night. Sugar beach is always a great place to walk and this location has great access to swim and snorkel with easy access into the water.

The view is spectacular. The condo included many amenities that we did not anticipate like beach toys, chairs, sunscreen. and other useful items. The pool is nice and the other guests are amiable. I recommend water shoes for the beach. Overall the condo gets a top rating from us.

Nice, comfortable condo with a great lanai overlooking Sugar Beach. A wonderful spot to enjoy morning coffee and sunset with fav beverage, as well as easy access to take a stroll on the beach. Resort is a quick 20 minutes from airport, easy access to Kihei and points south where we spent the bulk of our time.
Owners were quick to reply and answered all questions. There were beach chairs and a cooler which we used. Kitchen fully stocked. Great internet for iPads, cable tv was so so. Watch the fees if shopping around, they were 60% of advertised price for us. Still, we enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Outside of building looks old. But the PH Apt has been nicely remodeled. Very quiet inside. The grounds are very clean. Pool is nice. Super easy beach front access. Felt very private. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had the most wonderful week here! Every morning we’d watch the whales from our lanai. It never got old! Great pool area, and great sandwiches at Dina’s! Quiet condo community away from all the busy hotels. Kitchen was fully stocked for making breakfast or lunch. Condo is perfect for 2 people! Just gorgeous!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was in this beautiful Sugar Beach resort property. The process was simple getting in and out, the hosts were phenomenal to work with, and the property manager was easy to get in touch with. The location is absolutely perfect and we plan on staying here again when we return to Maui the next time.

We loved this condo, sitting on our lanai, listening to the waves and soaking in the view enjoying our breakfast and a night cap in the evening. The beach is just steps from the condo and was great for swimming, walking, and relaxing.
The location of the condo on the island was great but you need a car. 10 min to Kihei , 15 min to airport, 20 min to Paia, and 30 min to Lahaina. We didn’t mind the drives. We made a number of day trips around the island from this location.
The condo itself was as described and very well equipped with beach equipment and the comforts of home. Also there is a shop right on the resort grounds where you can rent snorkel gear and book tour packages, we utilized this for snorkel gear (good prices). We had almost everything we needed (minus a coffee grinder for our Kona coffee, this would have been a nice added touch for the unit). The kitchen, living room, and bedroom were great. The bathroom is part of the bedroom but has a big sliding door if you want additional privacy. It is very functional and worked fine for us.
We enjoyed our stay and the communication with the owners was great. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity to visit Maui again in the future.

The location of this property and the location of PH 25 are perfect. The property is removed from the hustle and bustle of Kihei yet close enough to take advantage of the wonderful food options in Kihei.
The condo, PH 25, is perfectly placed for views of the ocean and Maui from the balcony. Also, when the trade winds were very strong during our stay, the balcony is positioned such that we were shielded from the high winds. We were very comfortable in that condo which had all the comforts of home.
The beach in front of the property was excellent as well. Loved it.

The location, the grounds, the condo - to say I was impressed with all the above would be an understatement. Kevin and Collin’s unit was beyond beautiful, and just as pictured. From the moment you walk in, you’re faced with the sight (and sound) of waves as the unit directly faces / sits on the beach. This closeness to the ocean made it very convenient for lazy days lounging in the sand and wading in the water (definitely bring water shoes though as the sharp coral can sneak up on you!).
The condo itself was super clean, and stocked with everything you need for a quick getaway - from beach towels and chairs to laundry and kitchen essentials. Highly recommend this little slice of paradise.

We are so glad we picked this place. The unit was very nice and clean. The views were exactly what we were wanting. Sitting on the lanai you can see so much and enjoy taking it all in. Very relaxing and a great place to start the day eating breakfast and then end the day watching the sunset. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful condo. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities to use were great. It was very clean and updated. The views and sunset were gorgeous. The property grounds were beautiful and the outside grilling area was a cool feature after we went deep sea fishing and got some fresh Mahi to cook up. 10 out of 10.

This condo was exactly what we were hoping for. From the moment we opened the door, the view of the ocean and the sounds of the crashing waves blew us away. It is decorated darling, plenty of extra items in the pantry for cooking and closet for the ocean (chairs, towels, face masks, boogie boards). It was perfect for our family. We did struggle with the pull out bed as it seems like the metal piece that holds it flat looks like it was rubbed off but we were able to prop it with the cushions a bit. The balcony was perfect and we enjoyed sitting out there for meals. The shaved ice around the corner is PHENOMENAL! Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us!!!

Sugar Beach Resort was the perfect place for our family vacation. Easy access to other parts of the island. The pool and gathering area was extensively used by our family throughout our trip. We enjoyed our stay. The property is right on the ocean so we had our morning coffee to the sound of the waves breaking everyday. The pool and hot tub were great and well maintained. We spent 4 nights and enjoyed the stunning sunsets. Excellent sandy beach as you staep out of the condominium, where you can walk miles. Washer/dryer in the unit was very helpful. The concierge service during check-in recommended nearby sefood restaurant " Isana" for dinner and "Nalu's" for breakfast, both of which were fabulous!

This property was great for the ocean view...but it was the third of the three properties used on our trip to Maui and sadly not the best of the three. We really enjoyed the beach and the pool. Having a top unit kept the noise level down from the party people below us - but that's what we get for spring break time! The unit had a nice abundance of cooking tools and towels galore, Thanks for that. The traffic noise was very loud if one left the windows in the bedroom open at all. This meant you had to keep the fan going all the time and possibly the air conditioner, too. If this unit had just been remodeled, someone needs to repair the door trims on the entry door. It has been ripped off. It was neat and clean, but an older and dated unit. It served our needs for closeness to family and other areas we wanted to see.

We had a great time and our vrbo was perfect! The views were amazing and exactly as pictured in the listing! The only negative comment is the sofa sleeper- this was not comfortable at all as the mattress was paper thin and you could feel every bar/spring. Other than the sofa, it was perfect!

We had an enjoyable time. We unfortunately arrived on the day of a very big storm which is of no fault of our Host. We made the best of the situation and still had a good time. I am a cook and found the kitchen very well stocked. The view is wonderful. We also loved Dina's Sand Witch shop which is on the property if you don't feel like driving or cooking.

The condo is lovely, comfortable, clean and has an awesome view!! The kitchen is well stocked and the bed very comfy. It is fun to play, swim, walk and run on the beach right in front, and a short distance to some beautiful beaches to the south! You can walk on the beach to the local fruit stand and ABC store, too! So the location is really perfect. Everything went super easily.

Property was located in North Kihei so beaches were a lot less crowded. Pool area and grills all very clean and everything worked. Not too much around in regards to restaurants and shops but was just a nice 10 minute ride to south Kihei. Property was well equipped with awesome beach and sunset views. Main bedroom had a comfortable mattress and the pullout sofa was about what you would expect but the owner provided a thick foam pad which helped. Would definitely consider coming back in the future!

I was a little discouraged coming to Hawaii by myself, but when I tell you I fell in love 😍 OMG!!! My view was amazing. I was flabbergasted lol. I absolutely love everything about my penthouse. Everything was ran so smooth from getting off the plane, to the office getting checked in to the amazing view from the balcony. I did absolutely nothing Thursday or Friday. I just drunk my wine and enjoyed the view. I'm definitely coming back. Thanks Colin and Kevin bunches

We had a nice stay. The location is ideal, plenty of parking, nice pool and grounds and right on the water. Lots of great restaurants nearby too. The building is older and the unit was nicely decorated, but the washer/dryer needs to be repaired or replaced. The bed/bedding is comfortable, plenty of towels and beach towels were provided. The kitchen was more than adequate with the cookware, utensils, etc. Our only complaint is that we wish the shower and balcony were cleaner.

Sugar Beach Resort is a nice, family friendly place. It is clean and well kept. Good mid-island location, you can get to either end of the island in reasonable amount of time. The condo was clean and beautiful view. The kitchen and living area have been recently renovated. The bathroom is in need of a redo but clean and well stocked. The owner was responsive when a repair needed to be made. We recommend this condo and resort.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Sugar Beach. The condo was beautiful and clean! And the view was AMAZING! The location of the condo was perfect for all of our outings, including snorkeling in Molokini, sunrise at Haleakala, and the road to Hana. There are many great place to eat in Kihei- just a ten minute drive. I would highly recommend booking your stay with Kevin and Collin. We had everything we needed!

Great experience overall. Unit was clean and well stocked. Property was gorgeous and pool/ocean was ideal for our family.
Our only issue was the pull-out sofa but our kids were troopers and still awoke rested and ready for adventure each day. Owners responded promptly to check in and check out. Would definitely recommend!
