This was an excellent condo, right on Sugar Beach, for our family of four (kids ages 12 & 13). Kitchen appliances and utensils were really good (not like some rentals we have stayed in). Boogie boards and coolers for use came in really handy! We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Sugar Beach Resort is located in a perfect spot for site seeing the island. It had everything we needed, it was clean and the bed was comfy, two of my most important requirements. It fit perfectly in our budget and we hope to come again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was only two nights but I’d stay there a week or no problems. The place is very well kept, Megan is super easy and very informative. The beach access and amenities were perfect. Again I’d stay here in a heart beat. For the price it’s a bargain. The pool was great too. Can’t say enough good things.

The pictures of the condo do not do it justice. It was so much better than what we expected it to be. The view from the lanai was beyond beautiful. Everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly. The owner of the condo was magnificent and very informative sending us extremely detailed information about the area and things we could do during our visit to the island. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who will be traveling to Maui. We will definitely be back again, hopefully soon.

Easy access from airport,check in took minutes, the room was exceptionally clean,very well supplied boogie boards chairs, umbrella,beach towels, nice pool and jacuzzi.Can swim on the longest uncrowded walking beach in maui, 50 feet from building.Is centrally located on the Island. you get great sunset views of the ocean without cooking in the sun all day, The Host was very accommodating.

We recently stayed at this VRBO condo on Sugar Beach in Maui, and it was simply perfect for our family. The condo was clean and welcoming, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
One of the standout features was its proximity to Sugar Beach, just steps away, and the awesome pool which our toddler absolutely loved. The property owner was incredibly attentive and provided us with an excellent welcome package.
The property manager was also great, assisting us with setting up baby rental equipment, making our stay hassle-free.
We loved the condo's location, which was close to everything we wanted to explore in Maui. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We give it 5 stars without hesitation.

Used this condo as a short, last minute "staycation" to get away from the hustle and bustle of working long hours and extra workdays. Morning was spent walking the beach, daytime was spent at the pool. The deli on property has a vast and variety of choices on the menu. Place was clean and well kept. Definitely one to chalk up and mark as a "favorite" for any future staycations.

We had an amazing vacation in this beautiful condo in Sugar Beach, in Maui. We enjoyed its swimming pool and beach access, and the view from the terrasse was amazing! There is a convenient cafe with delicious sandwiches, burgers and hawaiian food in the residency, and a place where you can book boat tours with snorkeling or cruise dinner. The place is also located in the heart of the island which allows you to visit the whole island easily.
Our host Megan was very kind and Mario, who is in charge of the building, was very helpful.
We will come back!

We stayed at the apartment for one week and had a great time! The apartment is well situated, by the beach and my girls loved the swimming pools! (both for little kids and adults).
It was clean and has all the amenities needed to feel like at home. Great cooking ware!

We enjoyed our stay SO much! From the cleanliness, to the communication, to the views, the Mehta family is amazing!
The place is very clean, had plenty of accommodations and extras that came in handy. We utilized the pull out sofa and it was very comfortable for our kiddos.
They even provided us with a helpful packet of info prior to arriving. We’ve been to Maui before, but we always enjoy seeing recommendations and ideas, and it is clear that they care about the island, their home and it lets guests know they should as well, in a great way!
We’ll definitely be back and can’t thank you enough for sharing your amazing home with us. If you want a stellar view of mountains & beach this is a great recommendation!

We went as a family of 4, with 2 kids under 4. Our expectation for our vacay was really just to relax and be together. We cooked in our condo everyday, and didn’t do a ton of touristy things. The condo had everything we needed! Boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler bags, beach towels, beach umbrella, lots of dishes and containers. Megan was amazing to work with…. It was so nice knowing that we were dealing directly with the owners and not a management company. She answered questions promptly, and was a wealth of information!! she addressed the only small issue we had immediately -the washer had sand left in it, but she completely made up for it!! The resort location was right on the beach, and our visit wasn’t a busy time, we had so much space to play. walking distance to restaurants and shops wasn’t important to us, we wanted to be out of the hussle of everyday life and this location was perfect. Bed was comfy. Condo was clean. A little smaller than I expected, we had to rearrange some living room furniture because of the littles, but not an issue whatsoever. 10/10 experience. We loved our stay at Sugar Beach. Megan was great with checking in with us, and giving us a ton of information for around Maui, which we used a lot on our trip, exploring different beaches. The only thing we were sad for on this trip is that the island was pretty windy our whole trip, and not just in Kihei but of course it’s still Maui and amazing!

The place was spotless and provided walkable access to cute shops nearby. Owner (Megan) provided everything we needed (and more) inside the condo and a very helpful guide for other places to checkout on the island. The sleeper sofa was very comfortable and I feel that it deserves special mention, because most are not! We saw several whales (we were here late March) from the loungers on the beach, that we also would have been able to see from the unit's lanai. Compared to other rentals in Maui, this rental provided easy access to Makena and Wailea, was not super crowded, and the free parking was a bonus.
The unit was extremely well appointed with beach chairs, snorkel set, cooler, linens, beach towels, and everything we needed to make coffee/pizza/breakfast/etc in the unit.
We were very pleased with our stay here and would confidently recommend it for 2-3 guests.

To say that pictures do justice is an understatement! The family's condo is just such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the Maui days and nights. The entire condo has what you need and then some. From all the beach gear you may need to a fully equipped kitchen, this condo is so amazing and the check-in and out were easy peasy. The host and I stayed connected throughout the trip, and I totally appreciated it. If you want great food but don't want to leave and drive, go to the restaurant on site; get you some awesome MaiTais, and delicious sandwiches like the Reuben I had.
Did I mention that is a 15-minute drive from the airport? Super convenient! Sunsets, the beach, and even catching a starry night, I cannot wait to go back to Maui and hopefully land another stay in this beautiful condo. Places we visited in the week we were there: Wailua Valley State Wayside, Wai'anapanapa State Park (need reservations in advance), Twin Falls, Garden of Eden, Ke'anae Peninsula, Seven Sacred Pools (Ohe'o Gulch), Makena Beach (we saw lots of whales jumping the waters), Haleakala National Park (sunrises only require a reservation in advance), Lahaina and had Uluanis shaved ice, the best!, Waimoku Falls: A 400-foot waterfall (wear proper shoes to hike), Nakalele Point blowhole. Took a day flight to Oahu and visited USS Arizona Memorial, the Nu’uanu Pali lookout, Jurassic Park (make reservations months in advance), Diamond Head (also reservations required), Koko crater hike (good hiking shoes and lots of water, better in the morning or late evening if you can) Waikiki Mall to go to shops and quick bites.

We loved our stay at this condo! It was so clean and the view from the lanai was gorgeous! Also, the kitchen was great for cooking. It was very nice to arrive at the condo, after a long day of traveling, to the soft sounds of Hawaiian music playing in the living room. We loved waking up in the mornings, pouring coffee into the Hawaiian coffee mugs, and listening to the waves from the lanai. We also enjoyed sunset walks along the beautiful beach next to the condo. Finally, Megan sent us a pre-welcome packet that helped us greatly while visiting the area (the beach, hiking, and Road to Hana recommendations were invaluable to us). I can't say enough good things about this condo. One of the best VRBO experiences we've had. Mahalo, Megan!

The entire condo was very nice. It was clean and up-to-date. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. The beds were comfortable. It’s nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. It was nice that they provided beach towels and beach chairs, if you want them.
Communication with the owner was extremely easy. They checked in with us after we arrived to make sure everything was satisfactory or better.
The ocean view from the lanai/balcony was perfect. Every night we saw a beautiful Maui sunset. We will definitely stay with them again.

Loved the condo, it looks just like the pictures. The ocean view was on point and decor is modern and welcoming. Condo was sparklingly clean and welcome packet was full of helpful information. It was a perfect place to explore from, and chill at. Loved grilling on the oceanside lawn, loved the pool, loved the place! Felt like we were living in a postcard. Will definitely be back, wish I could give a million stars.

The Mehta’s property was just perfect in every sense. Cleanliness was on point. The place was well stocked with all essentials and some more - they have beach chairs, picnic baskets, even binoculars! Couldn’t have asked for a better location in terms of traveling time to different parts of the island. Plus the gorgeous sugar beach is just an elevator away. Lots of restaurants in less than 5 minutes driving distance. The host Megan and the property manager Marco were super responsive and made things super smooth during our stay.
This was our second time in Maui and fourth time in Hawaii, and this was the best vacay rental hands down. Coming back soon!

My husband and I stayed here for the second half of our Maui trip this February. We found the condo to be incredibly comfortable and well stocked. It’s was homey— we like to cook in-house and the kitchen had everything we needed! We could see the occasional humpback from the lanai and we enjoyed walking along the beach. This was our first trip to Maui and the location in Kihei was very convenient as a jumping off point for our activities. The beach chairs and cooler were so helpful! Thank you for hosting us! We had a wonderful time in Sugar Beach Resort #504! All of the little touches, beach chairs, towels, soap etc made our trip so effortless. We saw many awesome sights, the Road to Hana, Pipiwai trail, Haleakala, Nakalele blowhole, SO many beaches and having a comfortable ‘home’ to return to each night was wonderful. The condo was spotless when we arrived.
Kihei Rent a Car was great as well. We had a small car reserved but they had a Jeep available when we arrived which was perfect for our road trips. Thank you to Megan for that recommendation as well. Megan was so very attentive, responding to all our questions with lightening speed. We'd highly recommend Sugar Beach Resort #504 if you're looking to stay in the Kihei area.

My partner and I had a perfect time at Megan’s condo. Upon arrival everything was clean and sanitized and totally prepared for us. The view from the lanai is insane - looked straight out of a postcard with the view of the beach and the palm trees. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Good steady internet, never any issues streaming. And Megan was so incredibly helpful and quick to respond - always with lots of information. It is clear from the advice she gives that she has the utmost respect for the environment and the culture on Maui, and passes that on to her guests. Info from the pre-welcome packet she sent gave us a perfect experience hiking the Pipiwai Trail and visiting Ka’anapali Beach. She also had great food recommendations. I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place, Megan’s place is it. We will surely be back!

Absolutely loved this condo on Sugar Beach in Kihei. It’s the perfect place to explore the entire island from- very close to Wailea (15 mins) and not too far of a drive from Lahaina and the West side. It’s central to everywhere you’d want to explore, and yet it’s tucked away and was never too busy, even when everything else was jam packed.
We drove the Road to Hana, left at 6am, it was amazing. Another day we drove to Haleakala crater, hiked & watched the sunset- dream come true.
Spent lots of time at Kihei beaches (Kam I, II & III were our favorites) but explored the whole island.
Megan’s condo is spotless and she was friendly and timely when responding to emails, there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella, a portable cooler, everything we needed was there ; the manager, Marco, was also great. (I texted him when I couldn’t figure out how to turn the tv on and he came over like 15 minutes later to help)
We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean waves, palms in the breeze and the pool. Loved grilling dinner on the lawn. Loved the hot tub and the heated pool. We could always find lounge chairs at the pool.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars, this was a perfect place to vacation. Definitely will be back to this condo on Sugar Beach; can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

We absolutely love Sugar Beach. This is our 2nd time to Sugar Beach Resort but first time with a small child. And it did not disappoint. The pool and hot tub are very relaxing and child friendly. We were steps from the beach, which is so convenient and not nearly as crowded as other beaches we visited. We stayed in SB504 which is a perfect little condo. The hosts were so accomodating and amazing and the manager, Marco, was so welcoming and made sure to stay available for anything we needed. It didn't feel like a vacation, it felt like we were home. We love that Kehei is so centrally located, too; 15 minutes from the airport, Kahului, 15 minutes from Wailea, and 30 minutes from Lahaina. We cannot wait to come back.
